I have good comments about VCC The Gary Center. For one, I have been going to Dr. Duffield for more than a year and I did not think I could walk with my injured knees, I am now walking on them which I am now a believer in Acupuncture works. I also have seen Dr. Mansuri, DO and he makes me feel well cared for and professionally communicates at a level better than the doctor I've been seeing before for 40 years. He tops it above that. I also am impressed by the level of service of the center because at the time I did not think I could locate another primary provider so I am very happy to have found him. My experience at the lighthouse was life-changing Tiffany she's the best she definitely is one tough act to follow even when all the clients were mad about the phone she maintained her ground taught us fairness within the staff and within the clients she inspired me. To keep being myself even when the struggle hits we really related on the whole chosen topic. And a big thank you to Janie henke my lighthouse counselor she really is the heart of the program acting as a personal manager all those requests all the phone calls she has to make all the organizing whatever we got going on in our lives she really does take off some big weight from us without her I would have had the hardest time in there. Big thank you to Steve who made it happen for me to be there for my son's surgery he's the best and the lunch Ladies we really stay because they cook for us the most amazing food. And Cheyenne what a sweetheart she really spoke real she really always made us reflect about the reality on the outside. I can say she prepared me and because of her wisdom she shared I am still sober today

Lighthouse is the best recovery center I've been too it really saved my life. The staff was so loving and supportive throughout my whole stay. I am living proof that their recovery program works. So proud to call myself and alumni. If your needing somewhere to go that will truly save your life help you start over I recommend them.

I’ve been a patient at Aegis Treatment Centers for a while now, and I really want to give a heartfelt thank you to the nurses there. Whenever I’m sick or not feeling well, they always step in right away and make sure I’m taken care of. It never feels like I’m just another patient to them. They genuinely check on me, help me through it, and make sure I’m as comfortable as possible. All of the nurses work together in such a kind and supportive way, and because of that, I always feel really welcomed when I walk in. Even on rough days, I know I’m going to be met with patience, understanding, and care instead of stress or judgment. It’s honestly a comforting place to go when I need help, and I’m really grateful for how consistently compassionate and attentive the nurses are. God bless 🙏🏻

I arrived at Opus seeking treatment primarily for my addiction to Kratom and Alcohol, and was also equally hoping to find solutions for my anxiety and depression. What I received in 30 days “far” exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived I was met with warmth, kindness, and an implied sense of understanding I hadn’t expected. Although a little apprehensive initially, I felt I had arrived at the right place. Having felt for so long that no one could possibly understand me or the complexities I had been dealing with, I was somewhat taken back by how quickly I’d be relieved of that burden and begin to build trust in the members of the staff. Speaking of which, each member of the staff always made me feel welcome, cared for, and that they were motivated to make my stay as comfortable and productive as possible. Their insights and expertise they would share at the group sessions (and when I’d speak to them individually) always left me better than when I arrived. I will forever be grateful for the Opus team. I believe not only have they changed my life for the better but set me on an entirely new trajectory to make the most of my future. Some of the staff left an especially big impression impression on my heart, for various reasons(in no particular order), including Cheryl, Manny, Dr. David, Dr. S, Dr. Tenney, Trayce, Andrew, Tommy, Gabe, Todd, Adrian, “Chef,” Candace, Maribel, Shugar, and others. I recently found out that a family member was struggling with addiction. I was so lost and confused on where to start. Thankfully Conor at Pacific Sands was one of my first calls. He made me feel heard and understood exactly what I was going through. He gave me really great advice and knowledge on addiction. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go with them because of insurance reasons but, he was very helpful, attentive and reassuring. If pacific sands is anything like Conor than I know anyone who comes here will be in great hands.

This place was amazing, very friendly staff who helped me through the tough time. I was given all the necessary tools to recover and get my life back on track. I hope I never need to go back to treatment again, but if I do I would definitely go back to Pacific Sands.

I had a good friend go to Gratitude Lodge for substance abuse issues earlier this year, and he’s been sober ever since. I truly believe Gratitude Lodge played an integral part in helping him start his journey in sobriety. The staff was great, the house was always clean, and they kept the clients involved. Staff would take them on weekend activities around SoCal, bring them to meetings during the week, and encouraged my friend to get a sponsor, who he still has today. I’m extremely grateful for the role Gratitude Lodge played in helping my friend get his life back on track.

Gratitude lodge Long Beach was a wonderful experience. I was in a 30 day detox program and the staff was amazing. I really was treated well and the process was fantastic. I learned all the tools to sobriety and now know it is possible!

My nurse taline is so wonderful, she does a great job dispensing the medication and very trustworthy. I never have to wonder if she’ll mess up my dose and she’s very patient and encouraging.

I transferred to Aegis treatment center in Pomona starting around beginning of December after starting on methadone in Italy when I lived there for a while but between leaving Italy and starting at aegis there was a couple days break from treatment till I went to aegis, and now after almost a year at September I’m transferring to another state since I move around and the treatment aegis provided has been very helpful and I been clean off all substances since the first day I transferred to aegis and I think two days prior to the first day I went to aegis was the first first day I was clean and aegis clinic helped me maintain sobriety ever since which means I been clean since beginning of December and still clean and sober. Brittany and Martha and one other person in front desk that I don’t remember the name of was very helpful since first day. Taline the nurse who dispenses the medication was very nice and helpful same with Bianca (Im sure that’s her name but a part of me feels like her name might be different and I accidentally mixed the name up so I’m leaving this note up just in case I got the name wrong but she’s on the computer in the first door left when you enter in the hallways) was also very nice and attentive and helpful and I think is the manager of the entire place and she helps me transfer to my new place by coordinating everything. The doctor with glasses is very chill and very fun to have conversations with and helped me find my correct dose of medication. And Angela who isn’t my counselor but has lots of candy would give me lots of candy especially airheads she is the candy lady. My first counselor was Gloria who was very kind and listened very well in sessions and second counselor I forgot name of never showed up and I think got fired and was a weird woman and third counselor I forgot name of was a cool guy and listened very well.

One of the most luxury detox/RTCs I've been to and helped me get back on my feet. Appreciate the complimentary vapes, weekend doordash, and chill staff. The therapists are good. Fun fact - the house it's in is a former mansion of Charlie Chaplin.

I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they did during one of the hardest times in my life. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with respect, compassion, and genuine care. The nurses, counselors, case managers, and support staff were always there to answer questions, offer encouragement, and make sure I was safe and comfortable throughout detox. The program gave me the tools and support I needed to begin my recovery. It wasn’t always easy, but the staff created an environment where I felt understood instead of judged. The group sessions, medical care, and daily structure helped me regain hope and confidence in myself. Recovery is ultimately up to the individual, but having a team that truly cares makes all the difference. I’m grateful for the experience and would recommend this detox center to anyone ready to take the first step toward sobriety. Thank you for helping me start a new chapter in my life.

I have been in two other treatment centers and Casa Capri’ is by far the best treatment center. All of the staff and counselors are compassionate and good at what they do. They truly care. Casa capri has been such a safe space for me to feel home in my body again and the support is phenomenal. I’ve had one of the best therapists I’ve ever had; true understanding and nonjudgmental. I like to say that Light House is amazing it’s allowed me and my wife to both come in as a couple and to do our own program still be next to each other that thing for me is huge and the outcome of this program has given me a new purpose in life the staff are all amazing every need that is needed is provided in this program and Teresa she gets the biggest part of this for letting this happen I love the Light House

I got put into a very good house, my house manager Josh was really cool. We always went to meetings together and stuff. I felt very welcomed when I first arrived!!

My first sober living experience was honestly a great one. The house was always clean, well-managed, and Andy went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Andy didn’t just manage the house he actually cared about us. He took us to meetings, helped me and others work through personal issues, and made sure the whole house felt like a brotherhood. He also took us on some really great outings, including an Angels game, Malibu Creek Park, and seeing the Hollywood sign. Overall, it was a great experience and a huge part of my sobriety journey. Thank you, Andy, for making me feel at home, supporting me, and helping me stay sober. I’m truly grateful!

Overall my experience was great! One of the things I was disappointed most with was the inability to have access to a gym while in treatment. In my opinion self care in recovery requires inclusivity of our physical health and well being. During admissions it was promised that it would be available once on site. This was not the case after arrival. However, I trusted the direction of my Case Manager Nicole who was an outstanding person and able to take care of all my needs while in treatment she was AMAZING! In addition, my Therapist Melissa was wonderful to work with. Melissa's ability to connect with me and recommend excellent coping skills helped me in ways I didn't think were possible. It took openness and willingness to allow those processes to take effect. I had a really good stay at treatment even though my expectations fell short of what I thought would be included after my arrival here. I look forward to the future ahead now that I'm discharging. Best of luck to anyone coming to South Coast for a treatment program.
