For one, I have been going to Dr. Duffield for more than a year and I did not think I could walk with my injured knees, I am now walking on them which I am now a believer in Acupuncture works. I also have seen Dr. Mansuri, DO and he makes me feel well cared for and professionally communicates at a level better than the doctor I've been seeing before for 40 years. He tops it above that. I also am impressed by the level of service of the center because at the time I did not think I could locate another primary provider so I am very happy to have found him. Linda Iwasaki 4 months ago i truly do not understand why the VCC gary center has low reviews… i visited them twice this past week and i had a great experience. the front desk staff can be a little cold, but once you talk to them they are helpful. my first visit was with dr mansuri and he was so welcoming and made me feel seen/heard. ive had troubles in the past getting an oncologist referral but dr mansuri made it happen without any issues. im very thankful for him and im excited to have him as my doctor. i also visited the dentist and i absolutely LOVE dr dayrit. she is seriously the best.. so kind and fun to talk to. i feel very well cared for and had a fantastic time. the dentist assistant (im sorry i don’t have your name) was also extremely sweet and caring. Upon my arrival to Crossroads Recovery Centers, I was suffering from major depression and 27 year addiction to opiates, I never received any long term treatment before and to my good fortune I was introduced to Mr. Edgar Villa. He gave me a tour of the facility and he also became my therapist, he helped me to look within myself to find my co-occurring condition meaning my mental health was a factor in my addiction as well. A colleague brought me to Tree House Recovery, telling me it was different. Again I walked into a room of men, waiting for the pitch I’d heard dozens of times. It never came. In that room I found curiosity, knowledge, conviction, community. Vechi gave his pitch, but it was for an entirely different game. I spoke at length with the founder Justin about the neurochemistry of addiction, and the non-medication approaches to healing brains and bodies ravaged by impulsive and compulsive addictive behaviors. He got it. He preached it. I started sending patients. My patients disappeared. I’d call Tree House concerned about relapse and be told, “X is doing great! He’s still sober. He doesn’t need you anymore.” Music to my ears. Over my years of practice I “lost” many patients to THR. Vechi became my go-to phone call and was always available for my referrals. They kept in touch with me. They taught the patients I sent how to be themselves again—or for the first time! They don’t believe in recovery, they believe in life. Although I extended my stay to 90 days, I had to leave at just over 60 days due to a call that had come for me to tell me that my husband had passed away. Minutes from the beach. Staff was very helpful and accommodating from start to finish. I was able to get approved right away with my insurance and chose the date for checking in. I did a 25 day treatment program. The program fills your week with many different classes, off site AA meetings, and offsite beach meetings as well. Other fun recovery activities were also included on the weekends with all the girls. All meals are included Chef Kelsey is amazing. My case manager Janelle, was very attentive and took care of my needs when asked for. The techs are great in all the houses. They also set me up with out patient care and made sure I left with a sponsor and more info about AA meetings in my home area. Casa Capri is a great option if you are seeking a ALL woman's center.
