If it wasn't for parent care I would have never been able to get my kids back or be the better person that I am today! Great staff and invaluable lessons for recovery, relationships, personal development, self esteem and parenting classes. 👏 Been here twice, with a break in between, but so glad to come back and be welcomed with open arms and without judgment as a person, an addict and a first time mother going through the many challenges that come with that and other traumatic life events. When I came to Restore, I had been struggling with a 7 year Heroin addiction. I had already been through three 30 day treatment programs. Nothing worked. I would leave rehab and go right back out and use. I was hopelessly looking for anything or anyone that could help me. I noticed right away that Restore was different. They only accept up to seven clients at a time, allowing a more personal experience. Restore gave me tools I had never been given before. They teach the SMART Recovery program rather than the same old 12 step programs that didn't work for me in the past. I would definitely recommend Restore Detox to anyone struggling with drugs or alcohol.

I like to thank Pacific Bay recovery for helping my husband and treating him like family. The staff helped him every step of the way, we have tried several rehabilitation centers and none of them worked. My Husband has been through a lot was addicted to everything was a very agitated man and I am so thankful to have my husband back and it’s all because of this program. He stayed in the copper house for two months and he loved it so much. It was hard to bring him home. He chose his recovery center And he was there because he wanted to be there not because he wanted to be Not because he had to be there.
He was not the easiest patient in the beginning, but he stuck it out because Made him feel comfortable as they treated him like family. His big guy there since January 5. My father has been attending this recovery place. Watching someone you love struggle is one of the most painful experiences life can offer. My father’s journey with addiction affected not only him, but our entire family. This rehab gave my dad a chance to step away from the chaos and begin to face the pain that fueled his addiction. This place has treated him greatly and I'll be forever grateful for what they have done. Since entering the program a few months ago, he has begun the hard work of healing. I finally feel like I have my dad back and could not be more thankful for the staff and everyone else included, truly. I HIGHLY recommend this place for someone and/or a family member struggling with addiction.

I think we should make a law to only source our pencil ink (black) from Turkey there's no lead in the Haggis Sophia and they have buildings where it's accumulates and then they turn it into ink such a lovely none lead black ink out of Istanbul (Turkey) 🦃 or at least I wouldn't think it would but don't go around eating pencils or stabbing yourself with a pen idiot those German ones with the casing in plastic is how the hospital ones came in Niagara Falls that you couldn't hurt anything with it although probably not considered edible.

The people that make up the team at Brightquest are some of the most compassionate, patient and caring people you’ll come across. Simon in admissions takes the time to understand what’s going on with your loved one and how to get them from point A to point B. He really cares and takes the time to understand the whole picture. Rey is one of the client care coordinators at Brightquest and he takes the time to build rapport with each and every one of the clients. You will be able to quickly tell Rey has a huge love for simply helping people.

Overall, Brightquest seems to have the potential to be a beautiful place if you make it one and if all those involved (parent, client, referrant, etc) fall under-- to each's own capacity-- a conjoined understanding of what enrolling into the facility truly entails before onboarding.
Top of the Line professionals in terms of medical, psychiatric, directorial staff, and coordinators.
In the San Diego office, administrative advision and onboarding facilitators seemed to be - at a minimum - understaffed, underprepared, rushed... disjointed, disoriented - retaining inconsistent speech and tonal behaviors. First day, as most everyone will tell you, is definitely whiplashy; so be prepared.
Most, if not all therapists are pretty fantastic, though there's a healthy sprinkling that will likely benefit from more seasoning or better balance when it comes to working with the clientele that comes through the facility--especially considering the severity of what Brightquest's treatment plans offer.
Resolution could see steps towards improvement with a simple forum on situational and environmental threats, could addtly. benefit from the inclusion of more proactive superiors. (aside from weekly staff meetings which seem to not be too productive, I really just believe there should be a massive overhaul/addition to supervising faculty, or an increase in physical foot traction of prior mentioned superiors, wherever they're holding these mystery figures. Yes, it is true from what I've read in other reviews that plenty key players are conveniently often on vacation. Website also needs an update.)
I definitely think that clients should have a say in who they work with throughout their time in treatment, if afforded the luxury-- e.g. building or altering their own teams. The option of choice and communication does so much for clients in a space with inconsistent, often seemingly unclear boundaries and assistance. Also, on the DEI note, not very accommodating in terms of practicing religion.
Last and certainly MOST important. If at this point you have any retainer hesitations-- great resources, work study programming, activities, group sessions, and residential function is a very intelligent, strategic layout. Each individual playing a hand in house management, whether that be house managers themselves, night staff, or especially nurse Theresa (who is working 24/7!) are diamonds in the rough of it all.
At the end of a long day, throughout any level, at Brightquest (with the right treatment and mentality) you can fall on the network you've built for yourself within the community there. I truly do hope to see the team at BQ San Diego weed out some of the bad parts, as there is so much light and an outpouring of love and friendship in the work done there.

My experience was life changing! Everyone at Paradise was caring, attentive and have first hand experience in addiction. I felt safe and at home. Groups helped me understand my addiction and have a great desire to be sober! The house was homey, clean and has a swimming pool! Food was terrific! But most of all the staff outstanding! In the San Diego office, administrative advision and onboarding facilitators seemed to be - at a minimum - understaffed, underprepared, rushed... disjointed, disoriented - retaining inconsistent speech and tonal behaviors. First day, as most everyone will tell you, is definitely whiplashy; so be prepared.
Most, if not all therapists are pretty fantastic, though there's a healthy sprinkling that will likely benefit from more seasoning or better balance when it comes to working with the clientele that comes through the facility--especially considering the severity of what Brightquest's treatment plans offer.
Resolution could see steps towards improvement with a simple forum on situational and environmental threats, could addtly. benefit from the inclusion of more proactive superiors. (aside from weekly staff meetings which seem to not be too productive, I really just believe there should be a massive overhaul/addition to supervising faculty, or an increase in physical foot traction of prior mentioned superiors, wherever they're holding these mystery figures. Yes, it is true from what I've read in other reviews that plenty key players are conveniently often on vacation. Website also needs an update.)
I definitely think that clients should have a say in who they work with throughout their time in treatment, if afforded the luxury-- e.g. building or altering their own teams. The option of choice and communication does so much for clients in a space with inconsistent, often seemingly unclear boundaries and assistance. Also, on the DEI note, not very accommodating in terms of practicing religion.
Last and certainly MOST important. If at this point you have any retainer hesitations-- great resources, work study programming, activities, group sessions, and residential function is a very intelligent, strategic layout. Each individual playing a hand in house management, whether that be house managers themselves, night staff, or especially nurse Theresa (who is working 24/7!) are diamonds in the rough of it all.
At the end of a long day, throughout any level, at Brightquest (with the right treatment and mentality) you can fall on the network you've built for yourself within the community there. I truly do hope to see the team at BQ San Diego weed out some of the bad parts, as there is so much light and an outpouring of love and friendship in the work done there.

We transferred my father to this treatment center and I was absolutely impressed with the amount of detail and time they put into getting to know him and all the issues he is having. His history and making it very family-centered with his care. A three-day comprehensive in-processing. Never found a place like it, definitely a gem as far as residential psychiatric treatment center goes. They go the extra mile. Thanks!

Workers there had very questionable ways of helping, but it worked, tough love. I was being bullied by one of the boys in the residential program while we were at school and mister. Farouq (forgive my spelling) had talked to him and he apologized to me. Miss zoe, miss Sydney, Mr Johnathan, mx tag, miss Alex, mr Farouq, and Mr Andy made my experience there worthwhile. On school side my transitions teacher let me work as an aid in a middle school class (they pay) and that was very fun, one of the only bad things I can say about this place is that every hold ends in bruises or scratches, at least for me, other kids have shared some stories of messed up stuff. I was a client in the Clark Center back in 2010..This places was amazing! School was good and made it easy for kids like myself. Went on field trips during school hours to places like camp coranado and Balboa park, even had a flag football team that played against other flag fb teams around the county. At the Clark center, 4 favorite staff that I remember, also not sure if they still work there, but they genuinely cared about the job and kids they worked with. Mr. O, Mr. Alex, and Mr. Dan and Ms. Tina...Mr. O would wake the unit up every morning for Breakfast and school playing a specific humorous song(forgot it)...I forgot to mention the therapeutic drum program offered at the school and I think it was called Blues Tuesday, where anyone could go up on the stage and perform something musical...This places is one of the few Children's Youth programs in this state that I would recommend

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Small Gym available - Mostly weight lifting. Often Crowded/Limited equipment.
ASPRIN/ACETAMEN./IBUPROF.: Headaches, Recovering from workout, you're more likely to access any over the counter pain meds if they're in your property.
TOWELS: Reception says they allow you to bring one, Intake does not allow your towels no matter how tiny theirs are.

I didn’t expect to get much from this, I have done group before but API was different from my previous experiences. The knowledge that I had a group of people who cared outside of my usual support system was very helpful. The consistency of check ins from therapists and psychiatrists allowed for my medication to change based on my needs on a weekly basis. Overall, much more positive than I expected.

As Chairman of a non profit organization I want to commend the staff and management at Revive Pathways in El Cajon. If not for Revive Pathways and the whole staff I’m quite sure my friend would be dead from fentanyl. She went from 15 pills a day to zero. They managed her pain and withdrawal so well. I walked into this clean office with amazing staff greeting me with such sincerity about helping me get sober. Every staff member is uniquely dedicated to it's clients. I went to the other place in El cajon which was awful. Revive treats you with such respect a complete contrast to the other clinic in El cajon. . They make process effortless and quick. They up your dose rapidly so you can get clean faster without the need to use. A medical doctor is there for any urgent care needs you have . I was able to get my breathing inhaler through them while I dosed. How wonderful is that. They have a doctor available for any psychiatrist medication you need too. I have been to other treatment places but this one is exceptional in every way.
