Drug Rehab Centers in San Leandro, California

I rated Villa 5 stars because this was the only place I was able to be comfortable. They had a daily schedule of different things to do. During your stay you can have visitors and after the 72 hr hold give you passes to leave the campus for an hour or so. The staff was great and the patients were also welcoming. If I needed help this is where I would go. Thank you for saving me.. from myself.

Great place helps a lot of people tremendously.

I gotta give these guys 5 stars mainly because the only other review is an (in my opinion) unfair one star rating. I was in Villa Fairmont several years ago and while it may have had some problems (more like a 3.5 or 4 star) it was a place that helped me stabilize in a safe location until I was accepted in a Dual Diagnosis Recovery Home (Bonita House). I currently work in the recovery field and live an independent life. To me that is worth all of the struggles that I have had with any of the programs I have been in. Gotta go through hell before you get to heaven. That's just the way it is when you have a diagnosis that isn't socially acceptable... The system may not be perfect and there is certainly lots of broken components, but we need some kind of system and it does work for some. I know because I'm one.

I had a really memorable experience. Totally changed my mindset in a positive way. Dr. Chanter was great along with the other therapists, nurses and staff. I stayed for 37 days but wouldn t mind staying longer if I needed to. Couldn t recommend this place anymore. I also heard the other locations are great as well.

All the staff were professional, kind, knowledgeable and helpful with every aspect of my recovery. Group therapy was organized and meaningful. Individual counselors provided great support for me and my family. The after care plan is amazing and supportive once you leave the inpatient stay.

My personal experience at new start in concord is was phenomenal. I spent 31 days in the residential program including detox and all around had such a great experience that it was difficult to leave. To start, the medical staff while I was in detox took care of all of my needs. The med techs, nurse practitioners and doctors made sure that I had a comfortable experience while going through the scary process of withdrawing. Not once did I run out of medication and they always made me feel like they cared for my wellbeing and safety. While in residential, the counselors, group facilitators, therapists, and case managers were amazing! Each and every one of them. They had so much knowledge, experience and education, and I learned so much. My personal therapist, Mellisa was absolutely wonderful, and she helped me dig deep and figure out the root causes of my issues that were tied to my past traumas. The family sessions were also extremely helpful. Moving onto the assistant Director and head Director, who both truly cared about the program, the clients, and their staff. It was evident in how the program ran like a perfect machine. They also took us on fun outings, like bowling and going to the beach. The facility was comfortable, clean and well organized. We have full-time staff that keep each bedroom and area of the buildings clean and provided the clients with all of our basic needs. I want to give a shout out to Ofi who was like everyone s mom. We had some awesome amenities too like a gym, A game room, and an outside movie theater with a fire pit. I will truly miss my time at New Start in Concord, and will forever be grateful for this experience. Thank you :)

Alta Mira is a wonderful program with an exceptional staff. I learned so much while there and I highly recommend it to anyone who is ready to get help.

I was in Alta Mira in 2021 and just celebrated 3 years sober. This program has set my life on such a healthier trajectory. One of the best parts has been the alumni program! The community of alumni along with the quarterly tune ups have been a lifesaver. I will forever been grateful to the Alta Mira staff and alumni for saving my life.

Project Pride saved my life I'm an graduate and proud to say Ms.Tammy, Ms.Erina, Ms.Eva, Ms.Michelle, Chef Mae and many others have impacted my life tremendously. I can honestly say I never would have made it. I'm now working with women & children, and coming up on 3years clean. Can't wait to visit them sometime soon

Good program visted after 11 years

I was in there for surgery on 04/02/2025. I have never been treated and cared for anyplace else in my life like I was there. They were tentative and on the ball 24 hours a day. They had a great bedside manner and truly genuine. Mostly Kris in building 100, 3rd floor in the OSS unit. She was great.

Excellent place for veterans health care

Clean rest room, friendly staff ,. free taxi is outstanding . They need to upgrade charging station and add USB C on the charging ports

Would recommend to anyone who has the desire to change their life. Tools that will last me a lifetime and helped me learn to take accountability. Perfection isn t possible when dealing with a lot of people who are sick, but they do a darn good job. I felt important. I felt that they always had my best interest at heart. Special shout out to all of the counselors and milieu staff who work their butts off!

I gave it a 4 out of 5 because this rehab is great, with the exception of the director Emily. Ms. Kata and Ms. Linda were fantastic, as were many other faculty. It s a great place to be confined without drugs, and the counselors like Mr. Tom and Ms. Rachel spoke volumes to me. Great place especially for active duty military and veterans!My only problem was with Emily the director at the time who will did anything and everything to keep one at the rehab. I think she just wanted the insurance money.Eventually, I left on my own accord because very little counseling is offered. One on one sessions were rare and by the end of my stay, I left because we were just watching movies during group sessions the whole time.All in all, worth the stay but they will be time where people like Emily will test your patience. She may be gone, so hopefully there s someone new.Celebrating two years sober!!! Thank you Helios!

Best place ever for recovery. New Bridges provides all the clients with the right tools( mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness etc). New Bridges and clients work for a common goal : Sobriety and Recovery. I was a client who is grateful for being a New Bridges"s client

Excellent service, the best hospital ever so far .

This hospital is perfect, I love the care and kindness of the nurses, I had my baby in this hospital, although I had little knowledge about him, I had a lot of confidence in them, since I went from the emergency room to the delivery room 1000/10

I stayed for 8 days and the doctors were great, the nurses too I only had one problem with a nurse who was so mean when I was so sick but I complained and everything was taking care of, great hospital
