Top 10 Rehab In San Clemente
| Ocean Ridge Treatment and Recovery is a luxury six-bed detox facility for adults in San Clemente, California. You can access ongoing support to reach stabilization after quitting drugs or alcohol. This location is near the Palisades Reservoir as well as beaches, scenic trails and recreational opportunities. They accept most insurance providers, inc | Treatments Programs Payment Options | If you or someone you love is struggling with dual diagnosis, I cannot recommend Ocean Ridge enough. From the moment I called, I was safely taken into the hands of an extremely thorough, professional, compassionate team. I first spoke with Paul, who immediately eased my concerns and spoke with me at length with understanding until I could speak with Simon. Simon personally worked with my family and my hotel to get me safely to the treatment facility, showing the urgency my situation required. In my years of addiction, I had never been as scared as I was when I called Ocean Ridge that day. That fear was soon replaced with feeling safe, cared for, and confident in the professionals supporting me — more than I ever thought possible.
Their program is incredible. From the personalized psychiatric treatment to the customized recovery program, it was the greatest gift I have ever received. As a business owner, I was especially grateful for how accommodating they were, ensuring I had the environment necessary to work when needed.
There was never a time when Simon didn’t check in or facilitate any needs for myself or the other patients. Regardless of what it was, there was always a well thought-out solution with excellent communication. Tom, the chef, provided the BEST food and happily took care of any dietary needs. The entire staff was incredibly kind and funny. They made every day fun while also creating a safe space to do the deep work of recovery.
There were many days spent at the beach, doing activities, art, movies, and other unique outings that reminded us how much joy life has to offer in any situation. They also provide sound baths, meditation, and PhD-backed presentations on the effects of addiction, nutrition, and the brain. The talk groups in between were a supportive, controlled environment to process with others in similar situations. I especially enjoyed Paul’s groups and the feedback and knowledge he shared. Daily access to the gym and the beach was another huge benefit for me.
The homes and rooms are exceptional — I was blown away by how clean and beautiful they were. The night staff made me feel safe and had great personalities as well. You will not leave treatment without a well-thought-out aftercare plan. It is completely tailored to your needs and situation. Ocean Ridge partners with excellent programs they trust to ensure the highest success rate and smoothest transition possible. Since leaving treatment, I’ve received multiple calls from Simon to check in and make sure I have the tools I need. That tells you everything you need to know.
Most importantly, I must mention the owners of Ocean Ridge, who work directly inside the treatment center. They are incredibly kind with a true passion for recovery and those seeking it. I would not have been able to attend the program — or gain as much as I did — without them and the program they’ve built. I will be forever grateful. If you are considering Ocean Ridge, make the call. I just hit another milestone in my sobriety, and I am thankful that I will hit many more thanks to this program.

Ocean Ridge is the best place for recovery. I spent 40 days inpatient and it really helped me. The place is wonderful and relaxing. The staff is incredible: super helpful, open minded, they really understand your necessity and they all have advices, thanks to their experience, to help you coping and move forward. They gave me a new motivation. They take us pretty much every day at the gym and weekends activities are incredibly funny and team building. Beach times and other activities during the weekend helped me to enjoy life once again. The food is amazing, always on-time and very well prepared. I had my own room and it was perfectly cleaned-up, with a big TV, internet connection and plenty of space. I shared the restroom with another client and it was clean and not busy at all. My therapist was Yasmin and I never had a better experience in my life: she made me very comfortable and finally I had the chance to open myself as never before.
I had a very profound experience and I will suggest Ocean Ridge to everyone who want to change his/her life for good.
I will ever be thankful enough to all the staff from the management to the friends I was ale to make.

Clients are medically monitored and su | Treatments Programs Payment Options | As someone who was very hesitant to try an impatient program, I couldn’t be happier that I found this gem. Everything from the admissions coordinator (Kim), to the private driver from airport (Todd), to my intake at the house (Hans, Reif, Edith, Josh), to the private chef (Danielle), to the supervisor (Sam), to the case managers and therapists (Robert, Ligi, Jess), everyone made absolute sure that this seemingly scary experience was far from just that.
The care/medication management was on point. The private chef cooked some of the testiest meals I have ever consumed. The views of the pacific were absolutely incredible. I used the onsite home gym and hot tub daily. They even had onsite accupuncture and yoga. The group therapy content and material was life changing and foundational in my recovery journey. Each of the 6 bedrooms in the house has a unique vibe and special touch. I was so thankful to have access to my laptop as a working professional, and my phone to stay in touch with friends and family. We even had outings to go shopping, walk the harbor and pier, massages, kayaking, and whale watching. Chapters Capistrano saved my life and will never be forgotten.

Chapters Capistrano is absolutely amazing in every way, starting with the incredible supervisor of the center, Savannah. Her work ethic, inspiring attitude and true care for each patient trickles down to every component of the program, making it the best center I have ever attended. I am forever indebted to Chapters for providing me with the skills and insight I was missing to finally break free from the chains of addiction. Also, the small setting (no more than 6 clients per house) allowed for deeper connections which is so important to early recovery! Thank you to the whole staff for all of their patience and love, the walks on the beach, the outings, getting aftercare set up, getting me on the right meds and the wonderful atmosphere that truly is designed to set the clients up for success!! Thank you all so much!

I came to SOCD a little over a year ago for help and was immediately taken in with open arms, non-judgement and kindness.I wasn’t expecting much, especially during the pandemic, where most other treatment centers were struggling to keep their doors open. The level of 24/7 care I received from Salina and her staff was above and beyond what I have seen in other treatment centers. I feel so blessed that I found SOCD because they really care about your recovery. The empathy and grace I received, and continue to receive, from Salina, Alex and Greg was something I desperately needed. When you stay there it is apparent that they are all doing what they love and what they feel called to do. The therapy I received undoubtably changed the trajectory of my life. I now have over a year of sobriety thanks to Salina and her staff.
I recommend SOCD to anyone suffering from addiction and would like to learn how to live a more authentic, purpose-driven life. If you’re in a place where you are ready to ask for help they will not drop your hand, they will not give up on you and will not let you down. This place is driven by a lot more than financial gain (which is RARE). Overall, if you are considering treatment I highly recommend SOCD. It is more than just a treatment center, they facilitated an environment where I found it safe to find myself and, if you’re ready, they will help you find yourself too.

SOCD and staff are so great I couldn’t stop at just one visit I had to go back a second time lol. South Orange County Detox has extremely hard working and caring staff, a nice home like environment, and a very knowledgeable and experienced owner/program director! A stay at SOCD becomes exactly what you, personally, need it to be. This is not a cookie cutter treatment center that just drops you off at meetings and only preaches the big book. At SOCD you receive the attention and the quality of care you need in order to actually heal from alcoholism and addiction. You will not be just another number here. If you are truly ready to live a life, not only physically, free of drugs and alcohol, but emotionally, as well then South Orange County Detox is the place for you.

I’ve been working here for 5 years now and couldn’t imagine working for another facility in this field. From top to bottom, ethics and integrity are priorities #1 as well as the Culture we’ve created. I’ve honestly lost count the amount of times I’ve heard the statement. “This is by far the best detox I’ve ever been to. It’s never been this smooth coming off drugs/alcohol.” Because we also have probably the best Medical team as well and everything is streamlined so med changes/requests are changed in real time. Our entire team, including Clinical, are all very close and we all enjoy working together. And that right there is what keeps me around.

These programs are for adu | Treatments Programs Payment Options | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Care, Life-Changing Experience at Asana Recovery
My journey with Asana Recovery has been nothing short of transformational. Walking through their doors, I wasn’t just another patient entering a treatment center—I was a person in need of compassion, structure, and genuine guidance. From the very beginning, the team at Asana made me feel seen, heard, and supported in a way that very few treatment centers truly deliver.
After just two months in recovery, I was given the incredible opportunity to become a house manager, which was a breathtaking experience. Not only did it deepen my recovery, but it allowed me to support others walking the same path. That chance to step into responsibility and service was life-changing, and it’s something I will always carry with me.
What sets Asana apart is the people. Jonathan and Linda, in particular, are shining examples of what makes this place extraordinary. Jonathan’s ability to connect with individuals on a deeply human level created a sense of trust that allowed me to open up and truly engage in the process. His wisdom, steadiness, and encouragement gave me tools that I will carry for the rest of my life. Linda’s presence is like a beacon—warm, nurturing, and absolutely unshakable. Her kindness and dedication went far beyond a “job”; it was clear she cares about every single person who comes through Asana’s program as if they were family.
And it isn’t just them—the entire Asana team embodies that same commitment. Whether it was the counselors guiding me through difficult conversations, the medical staff ensuring I was safe and cared for, or the support staff who brought positivity into every interaction, each person played an important role in making recovery feel possible. They created an environment that blended professionalism with heart, where structure and accountability were balanced with compassion and encouragement.
I’ve been to other facilities and spoken with countless people who have gone through recovery in different settings, and I can say without hesitation that Asana stands in a class of its own. Their approach is holistic, their community is genuine, and their impact is lasting.
To anyone considering Asana Recovery—whether for yourself or a loved one—know this: you will not just find treatment here; you will find hope, healing, and a family that will walk alongside you every step of the way. I am deeply grateful to Jonathan, Linda, and the entire Asana Recovery team for helping me reclaim my life.

Tree House Recovery is located in Costa Mesa, California. It is a men's only addiction treatment facility. Insurance is accepted. Financing from a lender is also accepted. The men in treatment live together and share food and chores. You and the other residents are considered teammates. Every point of treatment is done together, except for one on o | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’m sharing my experience about someone close to me who completed Tree House Recovery’s five-month program in Costa Mesa through the partial hospitalization track.
From the start, Adam and Matt showed up with care, heart, and a steady light. My experience with the team was a blessing. The way they came together to support my friend—even at the very beginning—held nothing short of compassion and love. It was truly something special.
Tree House is a brotherhood. It goes deep and focuses on giving a real experience - not a curated, perfect, or cookie-cutter one. It gives the people who go through it the strength to stand up and get through real life when they leave. It highlights your strength, gives you the structure to build it into who you are, and keeps reminding you of it. They provide tools, support, and, beyond that, an environment where learning happens, beliefs are tested and strengthened, and new identities are allowed take root.
It's physiology and psychology, forged together.
And if you’re asking the question, “Does it last?”; In my experience, it grows. It takes the reins and leads. Even as someone standing on the sidelines, I haven’t just learned from this journey—I’ve been inspired by the person who walked it. This program isn’t a finish line; it’s a whole new game, a wider foundation—something that keeps inviting you to become more of who you are. And it is literally a life-saver.
I’m grateful for Tree House Recovery—and especially for Adam and Matt—for showing up and lighting the way. If you’re ready to believe that change is worth it, take the first step. They’ll have your back for the rest.

Treehouse Recovery and the staff members are all really great people that care about your sobriety as much as they care about their own and take the role of guiding you into the right direction very seriously. Being apart of this program as changed my life for the better and I found not only a sense of happiness I have never felt before but I also found a sense of purpose and a strong brotherhood within this community of guys I went through this experience with. My outlook on life has completely changed for the better and I open my eyes in the morning thanking God I have another day to be the best person I could be. I am able to face challenges head on and be able to tackle them down without the thought of escaping reality and picking up that bottle. This experience I went through with the people I could now call lifelong friends with has been one of the best chapters of my journey I've been through so far. The good, the bad, the ugly; it was all worth wild. Thank you Justin, Vechi, Matt and everyone involved that saved my life! This book isn’t over yet. Let’s see where this new version of myself takes me.

I highly recommend the TREEHOUSE RECOVERY Program in Costa Mesa. Their comprehensive approach to drug addiction treatment is commendable. The program addresses the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual components of your loved one, thereby focusing on the underlying causes of the addiction, rather than solely on ending the substance use. I believe this approach significantly reduces the risk of relapse. The male-only environment is a key factor in fostering focus and promoting successful outcomes.
My son successfully completed the five-month program and graduated. We are thrilled with the results! His physical and spiritual well-being have been significantly restored. Prior to his enrollment at Treehouse of Costa Mesa, I feared that I would lose him forever. He was at “the bottom” and was ready.
The program Is demanding and emphasizes accountability.
The parents, spouses, or family members have an optional video group meeting with other family members every week that helps immensely.
My son is 9+ months clean, and counting. He has a job and is on his feet again. He says that he’s a better man than he has ever been. I honestly don’t believe a different drug treatment program would have been as successful as the Treehouse Recovery Program for addiction.

I had reached a point in my addiction where I was headed down a slippery slope toward losing it all. Through my higher power, my family was able to see I needed help and helped me get in touch with Windward Way. From the moment I walked into Campus to this very day, I have felt nothing but love and encouragement.
I didn't know anything about Rehab or treatment centers, but from talking to others they can be vastly different. Many putting profits and business over people and healing. Not Windward. Every person who works there truly cares about you as a person and how they can best help you in your journey. I felt heard and cared for. My case worker Jeri is top notch. Helpful, knowledgeable and most of all loving. There are too many techs to mention by name but each one was on par. The groups led by the facilitators were so helpful. Each facilitator brought a different style. Ken and his love for the big book, Kelly and her love of teaching us through art and inner peace, Chad and his ability to tell a story or set up a learning environment that draws you in intellectually. Tony is exceptional in just chopping it up, but always ensuring we left with a valuable tool. Otis and his ability to understand everyone in the room even given our vast age differences. Gerald and his desire to keep us involved in after care. My house manager Monica for truly listening to each housemates concerns, and I cannot forget my therapist Christina for all the insight she gave me into why I am they way I am. And last but not least the drivers. They each had a way of just listening to our chatter and somehow still teaching us skills and showing us care. I could go on all day! Love you Windward!

If you're willing to do the work this is the place to get into your core issues and help you recover from the lifestyle and vices that one is addicted to. I recommend this place to anyone who wants something different from life. DBT, CBT, recovery education, family therapy are just a few of the groups and The program director and Clinical director hand picked a team that is progressive, informed, patient, caring and passionate about what they do. I encourage anyone who's seeking treatment to look into this program I first hand watched others and had my life transformed.

What you need to know about Ranch Creek Recovery:
They accept health care insurance. Katie was great in helping me find the right healthcare provider and coordinating enrollment
PRIOR TO ARRIVAL:
coordinate which house you will be staying at (Bass or Dorrien), what day you'll be arriving, how you'll get to the program, pack a week worth of clothes including a bathing suit, books, booklight (if you plan to read, because all lightbulbs are the dimmest possible), and alarm clock (unless you like counselors walking into your space, waking you up randomly).
UPON ARRIVAL:
You will need to be dropped off (there is no personal parking or vehicle storage). You'll go through a search (appropriately, light pocket check and bags emptied) all electronics will be confiscated (headphones, phones, chargers, etc) and stored in a locked closet. Full inventory documented for all items. You will have up-to 3 days to DETOX as needed where you can sleep and rest privately. I personally got bored very fast and decided to join the group early rather than just sleep, but the option is available as needed.
ONCE SETTLED IN:
There is a 7 day blackout period where you are not allowed phone or computer use and can not have visitors or communicate with family/friends (emergency exceptions). There are typically 4 (one hour) group sessions daily, during which either worksheets are used from various therapy resources, or rehabilitation-related YouTube videos are shown. Counselors rotate based on internal scheduling. You'll have 1-2 private therapy sessions scheduled each week for one on one with Leena or Christine both are great to work with and talk to one on one. Meals are scheduled 3 times a day, residents are responsible for cooking their own meals and can "graze" in making snacks/meals as needed.
DEPARTING:
A close-out assessment will be completed prior to your scheduled last day with an emergency safety plan for sign off. A pick-up time will be scheduled, all itemized inventory reviewed with sign-off. an IOP Intensive Outpatient Program will be offered through RCR Ranch Creek Recovery and/or a plan for after care reviewed.
NOTES:
Phone use allowed 1 hour a day at night after dinner, following a 7 day blackout period. Group sessions can be "boring" lots of downtime, lots of staff turnover.
There are two houses BASS & DORRIEN.
Bass is the main property and where groups are held.
Sleeps 6 residents. There are 3 private bedrooms each with a queen bed (one has it's own bathroom, the other 2 share a bathroom), and 1 oversized bedroom with 3 queen beds, another full bathroom by the living room. big screen smart tv, L-shaped old sofa [over-due to be replaced], matching captains chair with footrest [also ready to be replaced], eloquent dining room (dedicated as an art space), enormous dream kitchen with separate pantry room, food shopping is done once a week with a list (residents responsible to cook their own meals), Pool Table, Ping Pong,, Pool (ICE COLD), Jacuzzi (turned on Friday night only, no lights), garage with some gym equipment (you can use during free time), and a large sunny well maintained backyard is accessible.
Dorrien is the "overflow" smaller secondary house about 10 minutes away. Also sleeps 6 total. 1 large bedroom with 3 beds, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 master with a queen bed which shares a jack-and-jill bathroom. TV, living room, hot tub.
DAILY ITENTERARY:
This is where it gets a bit "grey space" ....
There is a plan on paper (somewhere) and then there is reality.
PAPER PLAN
*I could be slightly off, as no schedule was provided
wake up 7am-7:30am
breakfast 8am-9am
9am-12pm & 1pm-5pm group
lunch 12pm-1pm daily
dinner 5pm-6pm daily
free time 6pm-10pm
Tuesday = Sound Therapy (AMAZING)
Wednesday = Yoga (BEGINNER)
Thursday = Fitness Training (NOPE)
Friday = Educational Rehabilitation Movie & Horse Therapy
Saturday = "outing activity" (NOPE)
Sunday = Family visitation 12pm-4pm (last 2 weeks only)
its helpful if youre looking to get clean. The property and people are nice overall.

The treatment center creates a trauma-informed individualized curriculum for every client, comprising conventional, evidence-based treatments like cognitive behavior | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Get ready folks, because this is going to be a novel. I have that many good things to say. This is my one and only time in a treatment center. South Shores Recovery is a blessed, incredible experience from start to finish. They coordinate everything from your arrival to your exit, checking on you every step of the way. From the moment you arrive you are met with care and compassion. They do everything they can to make you comfortable and feel safe as you detox and in your surroundings, that includes when you move to another house after you get settled from your week of detox. The staff from in-take to techs to case managers and therapist genuinely care and take care of you at every turn. It felt more like friends than staff and guest- a quick shout out to all those that I got the pleasure to meet. They are truly wonderful and so very appreciated. They keep you fed and full of snacks as you ride the road of recovery while also keeping you busy with group during the week and nightly meetings ranging from AA, CA (Cocaine Anonymous)to NA (Narcotics Anonymous). The weekly group sessions are different every day and include things like yoga, sound therapy, meditation, harp, trips to the gym and outdoor activities like surfing. Saturdays have a fun activity like kayaking, bowling or going to the movies. While Sundays involve a weekly trip to Target and the option of going to church in the morning. This keeps the entire experience beneficial to the mind, body and soul. This recovery center is not just for alcoholics but for any addict that makes the brave decision to get better and work toward the life they deserve. This was the best decision I have ever made, aside from marrying my husband. If you are apprehensive or concerned about taking this first step, please take my advice and consider... this can't hurt, it can only help and that is exactly what the amazing humans at South Shores Recovery strive and are meant to do.

I cannot begin to express the depth of my gratitude for this place and the incredible staff who make it what it is. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with open arms and immediately made to feel safe, comfortable, and understood. The staff are not only knowledgeable, but also genuinely compassionate—always willing to listen, laugh with you, and stand by your side during the times you need support the most.
The groups are thoughtfully designed and different every single day, which keeps you fully engaged and allows you to explore so many meaningful areas of life. Discussions cover everything from addiction, mental health, and spirituality, to family, relationships, and childhood experiences. Each topic is approached with honesty, care, and encouragement, creating an environment where healing and growth feel possible.
This is far more than just a program—it’s a community, a safe haven, and a place where you can rediscover yourself while being supported every step of the way. I could not recommend it highly enough to anyone seeking real change and genuine connection.

Best recovery experience ever! This is my second time in rehab and South Shores really works on your mind, body and soul. I am 18 days sober. I feel amazing! Detox was great and I came off the detox meds early. The staff is nothing short of amazing. They support you and your recovery every step of the way. The food might be my only complaint. I love the variety of meetings. I’m an alcoholic but not everyone here is an alcoholic so we went to other meetings so that everyone could experience something specific for their addiction. I love this place.

It had been a few years since my last treatment center stay as I had completely distanced myself from anything recovery related.
I went down a real dark self isolated path of self-will run riot as I tried every which way to do it own my own self will and after being in 37 treatments prior to coming to California Wellness Center I felt as if I was a lost cause. After 12 long years of suffering and digging so deep, I couldn't even find an ounce of happiness to celebrate my own 31st birthday on March 12th of this year and after spending the entire month up untill my birthday completelt isolated alone in my APT in Phoenix,AZ I became very suicidal and started strongly considering taking my own life and just ending it all I had no desire to continue down the life I was living and somewhere in that moment of desperation on March 13th at 3AM I spend the next few hours crying out to my "Higher Power "God" to give me the strength to ask for help and he did I reached out to the "Owner Will" and finally dropped the ego I had held onto for all the years of my addiction and asked for help and that very night he had me on a call with a lady named "Keelen" Admissions might not be pronouncing that correctly and I barely remember the phone call I was completely out out of my mind but they were still willing to give me a shot and she helped me all the way through to getting to the airport to me completely blacked out at the airport missing my first flight to getting me on the next flight after out and constantly calling checking in to make sure I made it there safely as well retrieving all my luggage which I had lost during that process. Upon arrival, there I was picked up by "Liam," who made sure I got to the center safely and was there every day checking in, making sure I was OK! this is an individualized treatment program, and it was exactly what I needed to finally start unraveling the many years of pain and suffering addiction had caused. From all the staff "Matt" the therapist who was there 5 days a week, helped me finally dive into a lot of the many different issues I struggled with to face them head on he didn't push but when it came time he was there when I was ready to finally let go and let others guide me and I'll be forever thankfull for that, the Nurses "Mary" and "Stephanie" were the absolute best of the best and helped on many of the rough days I had to face while there to!! And the case manager "Jason" as well the techs from "Eddy" Kelsy" "Casey" "Jack" were the best as well and all played a big role for me still being alive and well today!! If you're thinking you don't deserve this, you do we all do, and this center and all the staff helped me realize my true value, love, and purpose for myself again and helped pull me from the very deep grave I had been digging for so long and finally accepting that I am truly powerless over my addiction but there is a way out if I am willing to drop my pride and ego and accept the help others offer so with that I'll be forever gratefull to all of you im still alive because of the part each of yall played during my stay there I finally feel like this life of sobriety is not just possible but worth more than any day of the pain a suffering caused by addiction so give yourself a chance your worth it and this place will help you get to that place.
Much Love From The Bottom of my heart Parker Richard.

Casa Capri Recovery offers medical detox and dual-diagnosis residential alcohol and drug rehab to women aged 18 and older in Newport Beach, California. They offer an all-female professional staff, case management, and a wide variety of holistic treatment options, including equine therapy, soundbath, and psychodrama. During medical detox, participan | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Overall, I had a great experience here. The individual and group therapy was phenomenal and the therapists were so incredibly talented. Halle was my therapist and Juana was my case manager and I cannot say enough positive things about them both as all of my needs and wants were beyond met. Therapists Jen and Lauren were super helpful and knowledgeable. The food was also amazing (props to Chef Kelsey)!! Also, the techs Christine, Jess, and Yoli were THE BEST. All of my struggles were tackled and it was refreshing to have core issues addressed instead of just surface level things. I feel like a new person. The only thing that could really be improved is communication between staff and also staff and clients was subpar at times which seemed as though some important issues were not being handled. The techs seemed to be really understaffed at times which cause some hiccups. By far the best treatment program I’ve ever been to and with some operations adjustments this place would be remarkable. <3

Overall my experience was great! One of the things I was disappointed most with was the inability to have access to a gym while in treatment. In my opinion self care in recovery requires inclusivity of our physical health and well being. During admissions it was promised that it would be available once on site. This was not the case after arrival. However, I trusted the direction of my Case Manager Nicole who was an outstanding person and able to take care of all my needs while in treatment she was AMAZING! In addition, my Therapist Melissa was wonderful to work with. Melissa's ability to connect with me and recommend excellent coping skills helped me in ways I didn't think were possible. It took openness and willingness to allow those processes to take effect. I had a really good stay at treatment even though my expectations fell short of what I thought would be included after my arrival here. I look forward to the future ahead now that I'm discharging. Best of luck to anyone coming to South Coast for a treatment program.
