Chapters Capistrano was hands down the best treatment I’ve been to, mind you I’ve been in treatment three times prior. Group/individual therapy proved to be very effective. The food, activities, and outside meetings were phenomenal. I want to give a shout out to Ligi, Jessica, Matthew, Raif, Savannah, Hans, Sarah, and Michael. You all truly saved me from a dark place and brought me into the light. From the bottom of my heart Thank you all. Chapters Capistrano saved my life.

Just back from a 21 day stay at the Chapters Beach House and I can definitely say it was a transformative experience! I was a 3 time dropout of a local outpatient program and didn't want to go to the "institutional" type of inpatient programs that lock you away like a prisoner and you get outside a few mins a day to smoke. Being from the East Coast, the warm and sunny environment of Orange County definitely helped (i spent A LOT of time on the deck and/or in the hot tub just relaxing, thinking, reflecting, planning for individual/group sessions, or doing workbook assignments for the next day), but it was the overall experience that made a difference. The small group setting of a max of 6 clients allowed me to develop strong bonds with people I consider lifelong connections and family. The clinical staff, especially Ligi, Jess, and Michael are amazing. They each get 20 out of 5 stars! I specifically want to recognize a few of the operations staff - Raif, Tyler, and Edith - with whom I spent a lot of time and credit each of them for being a huge part of my positive experience. I also want to thank Teresa, the Executive Director, who took the time one evening to have a conversation with me about some feedback I wanted to provide to enhance the client experience for future clients. Thanks again to the folks I called out above. I miss you all and don't plan to see you ever again..unless we pass each other on the street! :-)

I came through SOCDT back in May of 2019 and just celebrated 3 years clean and sober. I m so grateful to Salina, and the staff there for helping me in my journey and what an integral part they played in showing me that recovery is possible. My life is completely different today and will always be grateful for the continued support that they have shown me. I hope that if someone is struggling with alcoholism or drug addiction that they reach out to Salina and her staff, and get the help that they need.

I came to SOCD a little over a year ago for help and was immediately taken in with open arms, non-judgement and kindness.I wasn t expecting much, especially during the pandemic, where most other treatment centers were struggling to keep their doors open. The level of 24/7 care I received from Salina and her staff was above and beyond what I have seen in other treatment centers. I feel so blessed that I found SOCD because they really care about your recovery. The empathy and grace I received, and continue to receive, from Salina, Alex and Greg was something I desperately needed. When you stay there it is apparent that they are all doing what they love and what they feel called to do. The therapy I received undoubtably changed the trajectory of my life. I now have over a year of sobriety thanks to Salina and her staff.I recommend SOCD to anyone suffering from addiction and would like to learn how to live a more authentic, purpose-driven life. If you re in a place where you are ready to ask for help they will not drop your hand, they will not give up on you and will not let you down. This place is driven by a lot more than financial gain (which is RARE). Overall, if you are considering treatment I highly recommend SOCD. It is more than just a treatment center, they facilitated an environment where I found it safe to find myself and, if you re ready, they will help you find yourself too.

SOCD and staff are so great I couldn t stop at just one visit I had to go back a second time lol. South Orange County Detox has extremely hard working and caring staff, a nice home like environment, and a very knowledgeable and experienced owner/program director! A stay at SOCD becomes exactly what you, personally, need it to be. This is not a cookie cutter treatment center that just drops you off at meetings and only preaches the big book. At SOCD you receive the attention and the quality of care you need in order to actually heal from alcoholism and addiction. You will not be just another number here. If you are truly ready to live a life, not only physically, free of drugs and alcohol, but emotionally, as well then South Orange County Detox is the place for you.

I can honestly say that SoCal Detox has helped me in more ways I could ever imagine. I ve been to my fair share of treatments and IOPS but I can say that I learned more about myself in the 3 weeks I was here then I have with all the other programs I have done, combined. The staff really gives a shit about you here and you will get a case manager that will do everything in his power to help you for when you leave here. The groups are amazing and I could go on all day about how amazing this program is. If you re scared to start this journey, this is the place to go..

This place is hands down amazing. Not only is the view from the house incredible, the staff members are as well. Here you can guarantee you'll feel safe, comfortable, have wonderful staff (nurses, case manager, and therapist) to speak with to put you on the right path for your own success, and hopefully make some great relationships with people as I did. Everyone here is so eager to assist you in whatever way they can. If you don't like something or want to explore other options, they will literally go above and beyond and utilize every possible resource they have to give you the best outcome. I know this because I had a pretty intense time with my insurance and they were there guiding me the whole way. I can honestly say without a doubt this place changed my life forever and I recommend to ALL!

I started Dec. 11, 2024 and ended Jan 17th 2025. i am dual diagnosis as mental health and chemical dependent. I have been to alcohol rehabilitation learning some of the same things but this program actually clicked. I have to treat the mental to treat the addiction. I was in Fallbrook, CA. This time I fully understand my mental and addiction illness. No words can describe the amount of tailored help and understanding all staff has. most are in recovery and only another recovery person can understand what one is going through. I have never received such tailored, compassionate (yet firmly consistent) help.

My family member is currently in treatment at AMFM and so far has really enjoyed their experience. They said clinicians are top-notch, the food is incredible (a chef cooks meals daily), the program is structured and efficient. We spoke about 10 days within their admission and they already felt the progress of healing, not to mention the tone of their voice was upbeat and promising. They are so grateful to be in the program and our family is grateful to AMFM for the compassion and dedication of their clinicians in helping my family member grow and heal.

Hands down the best decision I made for myself to save my life. I had no idea what to do with my life as I was spiraling into a seemingly inescapable abyss until I reached out to Treehouse. I had my reservations about going to a place like Treehouse as a member of the LGBTQ+ community but the amount of support and acceptance I received even before I committed to going was incredible. I gained the knowledge and tools that I use on a daily basis that help me live life to the fullest potential. I discovered new things about myself while going through the program by living outside of my comfort zone and allowing myself to try things I never thought I would be interested in. Treehouse was able to create a space where I could explore these new things and create strong bonds with guys that impacted my recovery in the best way possible and gave me a stronger foundation to move forward with my life. The therapy was life changing, shoutout to Chuck and Ryan, they saw something in me that I could not see for myself and helped me bring that out. The coaches were incredible as well, shoutout to Dylan, he taught me so much that went above and beyond physical fitness and weight training. Vechi and Brandon were instrumental in working with me to get me the help that I needed and incredible human beings. Words cannot express how grateful and honored I feel to have gone through and graduated from this program. If you're looking for a place that'll give you the best chance at success in recovery, this is it. You are worth it.

When I first walked through the doors at Treehouse, I was lost, broken, and trapped in a cycle of addiction that I never thought I could escape, Never! I had become a prisoner to alcohol and drugs, and my life was spiraling out of control. The guys at Treehouse, there programs, and there unwavering support, helped me find my way back to the person I was meant to be!At my lowest point, I felt like there was no hope But within the walls of Treehouse, I found Compassion, Understanding, and the TOOLS I needed to fight for my sobriety. Through counseling, support groups, and the kindness of those who had walked this path before me, I learned that I was NOT alone. I discovered strength within myself that I never knew existed, and for the first time in a long time, I believed in the possibility of change. I learned to take Responsibility for my Actions, to heal from the pain I had caused myself and others, and to embrace a FUTURE filled with HOPE. TREEHOUSE gave me the courage to rebuild relationships, to Chase Dreams I had long abandoned, and to live a life of PURPOSE and CLARITY.Today, I am proud to say that I am sober. Every morning, I wake up with a sense of Gratitude instead of dread. I have regained my health, my relationships, and most importantly, my sense of self-worth. NONE of this would have been possible without the GUIDANCE and SUPPORT that Treehouse provided me during my darkest days.I just want to say Thank You for being the place where I found healing, hope, and a second chance at life. I have and will carry the lessons I have learned within me ALWAYS, and I hope to one day give back to others who are fighting the same battle. Because of you, I am no longer just surviving, I am truly living!Much Love..

This Rehab facility was absolutely life-changing for me. There are so many great things I could list about this place. The staff were knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly and MOST of all: EXTREMELY accommodating and understanding with requests. The house was located in a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood with absolute stunning views overlooking the ocean. The fun activities and experiences/outings were extremely helpful coping skills for my mental health and cravings. At Laguna View Detox it is evident that the staff care about you from the time you walk in the front door.I would like to point out that while this experience was amazing, there are a couple of things I would like to point out as areas for growth and improvement.1. Food - the food was sub-par in my humble opinion. While they do cater to dietary restrictions and allergies, there were many occasions that felt like the same food was repetitive, less-healthy, and lacked the right amount to serve everyone to their satisfaction. It would have been nice to maybe have the option for meal prep or an activity cooking course to teach people the skill and value in cooking together as well as considering a part-time chef position to develop those skills in staff and clients alike.2. Staff/clients - While 90% of the staff/clients were absolutely amazing, there were a couple that maybe could ve brought more value to the table or fulfilled their duties so others wouldn t have to suffer the consequences. It s not fair nor realistic to expect perfection from everyone but it is possible to differentiate those that are there to just collect a paycheck or take advantage of the care the system provides. These problems will undoubtedly always arise in every work environment and company alike thus should be expected time to time. The higher management can hopefully take more proactive measures to prevent the house becoming a toxic environment as well as addressing the problems at the core of the individuals.Once again I would highly recommend this place to anyone seriously committed to attaining a peaceful and healthy life of sobriety. I am forever indebted and grateful to LVD for my experience. I am also proud of myself for making the best of this opportunity and utilizing all the tools, skills and knowledge taught from the wise and relatable staff.I have made life-long friends, relationships, coping skills and knowledge that I will carry throughput my lifetime toward sobriety. I just wanted to thank you all for everything.Much love,Joe

I would give 10 stars if I could. I called the number on their webpage in the early morning on a Sunday and their director of intake, T.J. answered . He listened to me try to explain the nightmare I m living in with my son and he made me feel so much more calm and I felt as if I was talking to a friend or family. It was amazing. He found my son a place in their facility right away and explained the process and what to expect, even sharing his own experiences. I have never dealt with this before so I had a lot of catching up to do and I was literally in the midst of a serious crisis with my son which is already enough. I don t think I could ve handled this situation without the patience and support everyone at Laguna Detox but especially T.J. offered me. Unfortunately our insurance declined us in the 11th hour which was petrifying, but TJ called me himself and gave me a handful of alternative places and helped me call them and check for availability. What a difference that made. TJ ended up finding the best alternative in our area and hours later I had my son in their care and he s getting the attention and care he deserves and I can finally take a deep sigh of relief. TJ reached out throughout the entire process giving us his support and care and even checked in a couple days into my sons treatment to see how we were doing. TJ is one of those humans you pray for when you or anyone you love is in a crisis. Just a gem! Thank you TJ and Laguna Detox, I appreciate you and would recommend you to anyone.

I came to OC revive from Oklahoma broken and hopeless. I wish I could find the words to describe how much this program has changed my life how much they care about their clients and not just look at them as another payday. I completed the substance abuse program and because of the kind of care and attention I received I decided to also do the mental health program as well. As a new graduate I've got my life back together I'm sober and I'm thriving thanks to the help of OC revive. Everyone there Dan, Jacob, Becca, Shawna, Keith, Chris w., Chris e., Robert, Patrick, Jamie, Jenna, Anthony and so many more Played a role in me getting my life back and I'm forever grateful. I am so grateful for OC Revive. The staff here is amazing! I have enjoyed all of the groups. The facilitators run groups that are engaging and informative. I have learned so much about my own recovery since I have been a client here. Rebecca has been such a helpful staff member she is one of the first people I met. Anytime I need a way to get to my 12 step meetings or important errands she provides support super quickly and I always feel like she cares. More than once when I was struggling that day she was somebody I could check in with and feel like I was understood. Cassie is one of the best facilitators there. I enjoy all of her groups. They get super deep into my mental health factors that I need to work on. I have learned invaluable tools in her groups to manage my emotions. My case manager Cullen has been so receptive of any of my concerns and has resolved any request I’ve had very thoroughly. I feel like he really cares about me as a person and a client. Katie is another facilitator who has made me feel like I’m worth wanting to have a good life. She is encouraging and also makes me feel like I’m a helpful contributor to the groups. There is so much more I could say about the staff here. I would recommend OC Revive to anybody seeking help and understanding and or stabilization in their substance use or their mental health recovery journey.

Located in Murrieta, California, Ranch Creek Recovery is a luxury alcohol and drug rehab center that provides addiction treatment to men and women aged 18 and older. They also provide specialty tracks for first responders, individuals living with dual diagnosis, and the LGBTQ community. Detoxification, residential treatment, and outpatient treatmen
What you need to know about Ranch Creek Recovery:They accept health care insurance. Katie was great in helping me find the right healthcare provider and coordinating enrollmentPRIOR TO ARRIVAL:coordinate which house you will be staying at (Bass or Dorrien), what day you'll be arriving, how you'll get to the program, pack a week worth of clothes including a bathing suit, books, booklight (if you plan to read, because all lightbulbs are the dimmest possible), and alarm clock (unless you like counselors walking into your space, waking you up randomly).UPON ARRIVAL:You will need to be dropped off (there is no personal parking or vehicle storage). You'll go through a search (appropriately, light pocket check and bags emptied) all electronics will be confiscated (headphones, phones, chargers, etc) and stored in a locked closet. Full inventory documented for all items. You will have up-to 3 days to DETOX as needed where you can sleep and rest privately. I personally got bored very fast and decided to join the group early rather than just sleep, but the option is available as needed.ONCE SETTLED IN:There is a 7 day blackout period where you are not allowed phone or computer use and can not have visitors or communicate with family/friends (emergency exceptions). There are typically 4 (one hour) group sessions daily, during which either worksheets are used from various therapy resources, or rehabilitation-related YouTube videos are shown. Counselors rotate based on internal scheduling. You'll have 1-2 private therapy sessions scheduled each week for one on one with Leena or Christine both are great to work with and talk to one on one. A pick-up time will be scheduled, all itemized inventory reviewed with sign-off. an IOP Intensive Outpatient Program will be offered through RCR Ranch Creek Recovery and/or a plan for after care reviewed.NOTES:Phone use allowed 1 hour a day at night after dinner, following a 7 day blackout period. Group sessions can be "boring" lots of downtime, lots of staff turnover. There are two houses BASS & DORRIEN.Bass is the main property and where groups are held.Sleeps 6 residents. There are 3 private bedrooms each with a queen bed (one has it's own bathroom, the other 2 share a bathroom), and 1 oversized bedroom with 3 queen beds, another full bathroom by the living room. big screen smart tv, L-shaped old sofa [over-due to be replaced], matching captains chair with footrest [also ready to be replaced], eloquent dining room (dedicated as an art space), enormous dream kitchen with separate pantry room, food shopping is done once a week with a list (residents responsible to cook their own meals), Pool Table, Ping Pong,, Pool (ICE COLD), Jacuzzi (turned on Friday night only, no lights), garage with some gym equipment (you can use during free time), and a large sunny well maintained backyard is accessible.Dorrien is the "overflow" smaller secondary house about 10 minutes away. Also sleeps 6 total. 1 large bedroom with 3 beds, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 master with a queen bed which shares a jack-and-jill bathroom. TV, living room, hot tub.DAILY ITENTERARY:This is where it gets a bit "grey space" ....There is a plan on paper (somewhere) and then there is reality.PAPER PLAN*I could be slightly off, as no schedule was providedwake up 7am-7:30ambreakfast 8am-9am9am-12pm & 1pm-5pm grouplunch 12pm-1pm dailydinner 5pm-6pm dailyfree time 6pm-10pmTuesday = Sound Therapy (AMAZING)Wednesday = Yoga (BEGINNER)Thursday = Fitness Training (NOPE)Friday = Educational Rehabilitation Movie & Horse TherapySaturday = "outing activity" (NOPE)Sunday = Family visitation 12pm-4pm (last 2 weeks only)its helpful if youre looking to get clean. This is, by far, the best recovery center that I have experienced and heard of. I have been sober since I left Ranch Creek 3 1/2 years ago. They saved my life physically, as I was about a month away from being put onto the liver transplant list, they saved my marriage and relationship with our four children, and they saved me emotionally, as Dr. Dena was able to get some of my issues to a conclusion without me using alcohol to numb the pain. I do the work every single day, but I wouldn't be here without Ranch Creek. They definitely do it right!

This place has saved my life. The counselors, the nurses, the teachings (tools), and the environment were amazing. They were very patient, caring, and understanding. I learned so much there and gained a whole new self identity. After inpatient, they offered me an outpatient program that you can partake either in-person or via Zoom. That is so necessary and beneficial as well. I would suggest that anyone who wants and needs to get their life back or reshape who they are for the better to give this place a try. I live life through new eyes and with a healthy mind. You won't be disappointed.

So 4 outta five is high for me. This place is far from perfect. But if you think there s a perfect treatment center out there, it s time to snap back. Let s be honest, for those of us looking for places like this online, our lives are far from perfect. Typically we re looking for excuses why not to go rather than reasons to go. I never read the reviews because someone always has an ax to grind. Instead of grinding axes, I ll just say this time was different. 6th trip in 2&1/2 yrs to treatment. Places I d rate higher. But it was Windward Way where I was able to find the missing pieces of my puzzle and my hidden secrets that were keeping me sick. You only get out of treatment what you put in. I entered detox with the gift of desperation. It wasn t amenities and luxuries that made the difference. It was a frontline staff that lives and breathes recovery and genuinely cares about the clients. All the BHTs, group facilitators, my therapist, case worker, & med staff pour their souls into this work. Their love and concern overrides any complaints I could muster. I m the hardest of cases. The breath in my lungs is a legion of miracles. But the fact that I m happy joyous and free today is a testament to the effort, care, and concern of people like Mark, Tony, Ottis, Jerald, Sina, Andrew, Saul, Kenny, Andria, Adam, Kelly, Nick, Shaina, Didi, Casa, Thomas, Sarah, Emily, Bryce, John AKA Pouter, Josh, Matt (still got hair envy bro), Gauge, Armand, of course Javon, PA Shapiro (I hope that s right because his management of my PAWS was spot on) and a few other angels whose names allude me at the moment.Go meet them. It just might save your life, family, job, freedom, and/or many other things. Give yourself a break. Check your pride at the door, stop making excuses and let these people show you a better way live. Besides, there are worse places to get clean and sober than Orange County, SoCal!!!What y all thought I wouldn t have good stuff to say?! I m SOBER not stupid. Now anyways. Thanks Windward Way!!!

Akua is where I got clean. The staff is very patient and kind. Because of this, I eventually came around to opening my mind more. I didn t want to participate in meetings and put minimal effort in facilitated group on the beginning. Over time, I felt more comfortable and staff shared their struggles and how they overcame it. I felt like I was able to face the destruction of my past and eventually did. The different groups that they provide help build a well rounded foundation and I thank them for the time clean I have today.Thank you Akua

The staff was very knowledgeable, caring and accommodating through my early recovery efforts! Plenty of time is made to provide access to the gym, AA/NA meetings, healthy and delicious food, therapy, group sessions, down time and yoga to name a few of the highlights. I had my reservations before enrolling with Akua but by the end of my month-long time there I was sad to have to leave, knowing that I would miss all the staff and clients, as well as the tools they provided me to succeed within my next chapters of the recovery process. I plan to attend their Wednesday AA alumni meetings!

South Shores Recovery is a dual-diagnosis drug rehab and substance use treatment facility in Dana Point, California. They serve adult men and women with detox and outpatient programs.. The treatment center creates a trauma-informed individualized curriculum for every client, comprising conventional, evidence-based treatments like cognitive behavior
When I went to recovery last October I was scared to death. I had no idea what to expect and was in terrible shape. Over the days I felt like I was exactly where I needed to be. The staff was amazing and made me feel so at home. I had the best experience I could possibly have had. I took away so many valuable experiences, and crazy to say...I miss being there some times. I am 40 days sober, as I had a relapse after leaving, but I am on the most amazing journey right now. I have been able to use the tools I achieved at the center to change my life right now. What a great experience I had at South Shores Recovery, from making that first hard core phone call, to flying back home. I can't thank the entire staff enough for getting my life back.

When I first arrived at South Shores in May of this year, I felt truly broken. I was completely disoriented after having traveled cross country and terrified about what would come next. I was in poor shape spiritually, emotionally, and physically, and missed my family desperately.I never expected to find my joy again, but with South Shores' help, I have. The staff were amazing and immediately made me feel safe and helped me adjust to life in treatment. I can hardly name them all, but Billie, Edgar, Lisa, Jos, Matt, Tina, and the whole staff there truly saved my life. If you're feeling hopeless and that you can't recover, call South Shores.I have been sober seven months today, and have an amazing sponsor and sober fam here at home. My health and fitness are great, and I don't feel broken anymore. To say I am grateful is an understatement.Leigh-Anne Gaumond

I can't thank New Directions for Women enough for the care they provided my sister during her battle with heroin addiction. From the first phone call we made, they met us with kindness and compassion, at a time when we had quite honestly lost all hope.Their focus on family involvement was pivotal, offering us support and guidance to heal together. The community atmosphere helped my sister to confront her challenges and embrace lasting change. She still has contact with some of the women she went through the program with! Today, my sister is thriving in her sobriety, thanks to the foundation laid by New Directions for Women. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of support on their journey to recovery.
