Ocean Ridge is a true gem. From the moment you even make the phone call you feel like you are part of a family. This program ACTUALLY cares about you. It’s not just about a check. Ocean ridge is a great place for long-term recovery. I would highly recommend to anyone struggling with substance abuse. In my time I have found that all the staff are very kind and understanding and great to talk to if you are having a hard time. The groups are very therapeutic and have a lot of great information. I love both of the therapists as they do great work and I felt immediately comfortable with them. This environment is a very safe/stable place. If I needed to go back to treatment for any reason I would 100% come back.

This is the best program I’ve ever been to. They actually care about us and it shows. Jack and Sean go above and beyond to make sure that we have the best experience. I’ll miss riding with Zach to doctors appointments swapping songs and vibing out. Simon is always there when you need him. Listen, because he genuinely wants the best for you! Paul is probably the chillest guy ever. Extremely helpful and smart! Tom is probably the most funny individual I’ve ever met, it’s impossible not to laugh when he’s around. He cooks the best food for us. Tori is best because she’s always down to take us to the beach or gym for a good time. She goes to bat for us. Shahab is the man! He genuinely cares about every individual he meets. I’ll miss our talks. Hunter is fun to crack jokes, he’s so laid back and chill it’s nice having him around. Larry is always so positive and bright and genuinely cares about your health. Everything he does he does to his best ability. Brent aka Popeye is such a good sport. He always brings a positive attitude. He’s hilarious.
This whole program is a god send, i couldn’t imagine going anywhere else and im grateful to all the staff for their commitment to helping us get our lives back on track.

I couldn't have picked a better place to go. I did the 7 to 10 day detox program. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Therapist and counselors were great and easy to talk to.

Chapters Capistrano is absolutely amazing in every way, starting with the incredible supervisor of the center, Savannah. Her work ethic, inspiring attitude and true care for each patient trickles down to every component of the program, making it the best center I have ever attended. I am forever indebted to Chapters for providing me with the skills and insight I was missing to finally break free from the chains of addiction. Also, the small setting (no more than 6 clients per house) allowed for deeper connections which is so important to early recovery! Thank you to the whole staff for all of their patience and love, the walks on the beach, the outings, getting aftercare set up, getting me on the right meds and the wonderful atmosphere that truly is designed to set the clients up for success!! I can’t say enough about my experience at Chapters. This was my second stay (and a partial 3rd they accommodated). The therapy staff is of course phenomenal. I was fortunate to work with both case managers and therapists over my multiple stays. My standard personality hated it but turned out to be the best thing. Jess, Michael, Ligi, and Robert - you are all awesome professionals and human beings and I will forever love you. You’ve given me the tools - it’s up to me to f$@& execute them. But individually you helped me address some of the complex issues I’m still dealing with.
I don’t want to forget the operations staff we spent more time with - so not going to name names ( ok Raif and Tim great but all others too )
- you know who you are and I will be following up with Teresa personally to make sure she knows how much I and others value you since you are so much of the client experience and need to be recognized as such.
Teresa / here’s a clue - they are all awesome professionals, are utmost professional, and make clients feel comfortable.
I dealt with a bunch of drones at another place. You have an excellent team. I and all others agree. You need to keep and nurture them. If you do you will be successful and help more people. If you have lots of turnover due to paying $1 less like others / the results are well known to be poor.
I get this isn’t an easy business, pay not great etc. But after going to another place I wish I had the team at Chapters.
You’ll notice I didn’t negatively name a person or thing. Always things to improve in any organization - no place will be perfect- but for a professional rehabilitation experience, with highest quality clinical care? you couldn’t do better.

I came through SOCDT back in May of 2019 and just celebrated 3 years clean and sober. I came to SOCD a little over a year ago for help and was immediately taken in with open arms, non-judgement and kindness.I wasn’t expecting much, especially during the pandemic, where most other treatment centers were struggling to keep their doors open. The level of 24/7 care I received from Salina and her staff was above and beyond what I have seen in other treatment centers. I feel so blessed that I found SOCD because they really care about your recovery. The empathy and grace I received, and continue to receive, from Salina, Alex and Greg was something I desperately needed. When you stay there it is apparent that they are all doing what they love and what they feel called to do. The therapy I received undoubtably changed the trajectory of my life. I now have over a year of sobriety thanks to Salina and her staff.
I recommend SOCD to anyone suffering from addiction and would like to learn how to live a more authentic, purpose-driven life. If you’re in a place where you are ready to ask for help they will not drop your hand, they will not give up on you and will not let you down. This place is driven by a lot more than financial gain (which is RARE). Overall, if you are considering treatment I highly recommend SOCD. It is more than just a treatment center, they facilitated an environment where I found it safe to find myself and, if you’re ready, they will help you find yourself too.

SOCD and staff are so great I couldn’t stop at just one visit I had to go back a second time lol. South Orange County Detox has extremely hard working and caring staff, a nice home like environment, and a very knowledgeable and experienced owner/program director! A stay at SOCD becomes exactly what you, personally, need it to be. This is not a cookie cutter treatment center that just drops you off at meetings and only preaches the big book. At SOCD you receive the attention and the quality of care you need in order to actually heal from alcoholism and addiction. You will not be just another number here. If you are truly ready to live a life, not only physically, free of drugs and alcohol, but emotionally, as well then South Orange County Detox is the place for you.

I’ve been working here for 5 years now and couldn’t imagine working for another facility in this field. From top to bottom, ethics and integrity are priorities #1 as well as the Culture we’ve created. I’ve honestly lost count the amount of times I’ve heard the statement. “This is by far the best detox I’ve ever been to. It’s never been this smooth coming off drugs/alcohol.” Because we also have probably the best Medical team as well and everything is streamlined so med changes/requests are changed in real time. Our entire team, including Clinical, are all very close and we all enjoy working together. And that right there is what keeps me around.

My son has recently started his treatment at this center in California for mental health and addiction. It hasn’t been long yet, so I can’t speak to the long-term results, but I can already say that my experience with the staff—especially the woman who communicates with me—has been very positive. She takes everything to heart and shows a high level of responsibility and care.
I truly hope that when my son completes his program, he will be better prepared to take care of himself, make mature choices, and live independently. From what I’ve seen so far, I feel optimistic that this center will help him grow in that direction.

Great center. I helped my brother get into this center and it wasn't a difficult process at all. I appreciated how they were in constant communication with us throughout the process and even while he was in there. My brother has been sober for 8 months now and its amazing seeing him like this.
