MCR SAVED ME FROM DRUGS, MYSELF & DRINKING! I want to talk about my experience, everyone was very kind and we had a great group that I was with at the time which really helped me to recover. The first two weeks I had still been off the wagon, but as soon as I confessed to the group I immediately began to heal. Carlee was an excellent therapist for me and I remember having lots of friends supporting each other while I was getting my recovery. We would practice breathing exercises, watch movies that would help out with our recovery, and talk about anything or anyone who has been bothering us recently or from anytime in our lives. They even had a special brain training activity on the computer that you do to help focus on recovery. All the teachers were so nice and had fun assignments to do to help keep our minds off drugs and alcohol. They even have doctors who help provide medication to help keep drugs and alcohol away. I am much more responsible and take medication now to help maintain my sobriety. Thank you MCR!

This is the best rehab I have been to. The staff and people there were so wonderful and did their very best to help me through my drug addictions. They did their best to get you out of your shell and to feel like you're apart of a loving, easy-going family. I've been to many rehabs, and it's safe to say that this rehab was the main reason I got clean. The staff really cared for you and made you feel loved and included. The attendees made the experience so awesome, I couldn't have asked for more. The rooms were very nice and relaxing. The food was awesome, as well. They accommodate for any allergies and they still make it taste good, which is almost impossible when you're going through withdrawals. The classes were fun and laid back, which allowed me to not have to speak if I didn't want to. They challenged me to get better with the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, which I feel was the most important part of the recovery. Anaheim Lighthouse allowed me to really look deeply into my life and see what I was doing wrong and what I should strive to be. I'm extremely thankful for Anaheim Lighthouse. Without it, I wouldn't know what to do.

Leah makes my day with her positive attitude and peaceful approach with her beautiful mindset. This place has been a huge turning point in my recovery. My case manager, Ricky, has been incredibly supportive, always going the extra mile to make sure I have what I need to stay on track. My therapist, Erika, is absolutely amazing, she has a way of helping me work through my struggles while giving me real tools to use in everyday life. All of the group facilitators here are super helpful, compassionate, and truly care about each person’s journey. I also have to give special recognition to the program director, Kolby Seager. If you are like me, you have been tirelessly researching online or calling various sober living facilities - feeling heartbroken, lost, desperate, and confused - all while facing a decision which would directly impact the livelihood of a loved one. My family member had just completed rehab outside of Los Angeles and needed a sober living facility with good and honest people to help them adjust back to “real life.” All I knew at this point in my search is what I wanted for them. I was looking for a sober living facility where they would have focus on the program, be given the direction and guidance of counselors with care, be introduced to meetings around LA, all leading up to the goal of steering them back to a healthy and positive life. The real (and scary) answer is these places are hard to come by. I unfortunately saw that first-hand. Now to get to why I NEEDED to write this review. Nexus. 5 letters that make up a word I want to shout from the rooftops with such profound gratitude. Yes, my family member chose to do the work, take it seriously, make it a priority in their life, but it is also about who you surround yourself with. Nexus gave my family member a community bringing people into our lives which have changed it for the better. Nexus gave my family member counseling which has opened them up to realizing their true potential without the need of drugs or alcohol – they are just grateful to be walking in their shoes sober. And one of the most important attributes of Nexus you may ask? Those that run the program. Halim, Johnnie, Rob, and Dano. I will never forget the first night I talked to Halim. And I say “talked” as if it was only one time. We spoke at least 10 times and he was a savior. He picked my family member up from somewhere where they were drowning and brought them to the Playa house. I was in a different state and was powerless but Halim was there. How could I have been more fortunate? I am forever indebted to the people that work at the Playa house (house manager, supervisors, techs, case managers, drivers) and the program Nexus has brought to our lives. Nothing is more important to me then family, and Nexus gave me my family back.

I was stumbling around the barren wasteland of treatment centers desperate enough to buy the guise of empathetic adversaries stating they care for you promising water and nourishment only to be a mirage in the futile landscape (south Florida).
So I showed up on a rainy day in Los Angeles and was greeted by great staff, met my therapist Melissa (amazing person and professional) and started group therapy. Delena, a group therapist at Nexus, is a god send and at this point I believe she might literally be an Earth Angel that brings light to all of the darkness that we think we believe when we get sober.
I started to have hope for my future and felt like the impossible was now possible. Somewhere in the mix I met Kurt (another group therapist) I don’t know what exactly he does or how he does it... but he changed my life because I was always seeking answers to questions unattainable or that others never had the capacity to answer... but the best way to talk about Kurt is to not talk about Kurt and let people experience spirituality on THEIR terms!
All the staff is wonderful shout out to UA Nick.
Big Jeff will help you with all of your outside stuff legal, work ect but also knows what he is talking about in recovery and in spirituality. Halim Daniel is the go to guy for pretty much anything. He holds his staff just as accountable as the clients.
Lastly, I’d recommend this place for anyone serious about recovery. The best testimony comes from clients and past members and what stands out to me is that a lot of past members are still sober or clean. We are all pretty close too. If you are fed up with the treatment industry I understand how you Feel. There is real solution and hope here and more than that to me is the amount of love ❤️

When my 19 year old son completed residential treatment I began the search for an outpatient program that could supplement his sober living. Over the course of his seven months at Nexus those same traits from that first phone call grew and worked magic on my son. I can’t know what happened daily or even weekly at Nexus, but I know the changes I saw in my son. The young man he was destined to be was awakened and nurtured by Nexus. They kept me informed along the way and I was able to participate in a wonderful family program weekend.
Today my son is in college and living a productive life. We both credit Nexus for providing him the space, support, insight and love he needed to move into this next chapter. I am forever grateful to the staff at Nexus.

Gloria Detox helped me in my journey of over 10 years of addiction. All the staff and counselors were extremely professional and took pride in there jobs. Many are recovering addicts with years of sobriety themselves and can relate to you in a way that most others can’t. I felt it was a safe place to be vulnerable and open up to the reasons why I became an addict in the first place. The staff, Doctors, and Nurse are wonderful. Very Professional staff. Tony the Security Guard is the nicest guard I have ever met. He treats everyone the same. And, none of the staff treat you as addicts or criminals. You end up coming and going from there like you have just visited a Family member’s house. I highly recommend to anyone who struggling with opioid dependency.

The staff here is amazing no matter what I’m going through they always help me out from the receptionist Indira who always is so friendly and nice to the nurses like Laura she is the best. I was recently in a treatment and was on Subutex . (Suboxone makes me sick and I throw it up soon as it disappears under my tongue and it upsets my stomach really bad.) So they put me on Subutex and it works perfectly I had no cravings at all. Well the treatment center i was in turned out to be an insurance fraud program and they kicked me to the streets after being in the program for 6 months. And they didn't give me my prescription of Subutex even though my insurance paid for it . So I wanted to see if this place will prescribe Subutex or do they just give Suboxone?

My husband I went to this program together after both having started our recovery journey separately. I absolutely recommend this Recovery center for several reasons. The staff is always willing to go the extra step to ensure your getting your needs met, whatever they may be it gets taken care of. The foundation the company sets for recovery is well above average. We left due to my husband's work needs but found that after leaving we went from Senior on highschool level education for recovery into a program that feels really elementary. Special shout to Kam for going above and beyond the expectations of a group facilitator and case manager. The entire staff is incredible, but I have to give a special mention to Kam Bell, the program director. Kam is the heart of this program—dedicated, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond for every single client, making sure each person receives the personalized care they need to succeed in their recovery journey. He walked me through the steps of rebuilding the relationship with my daughter and pushed me when I got scared and had to sit and feel my feelings instead of hiding or masking them by getting high. Nadine taught me that the horrible things and decisions that I did and made while in my active addiction wasn't me it was the monster that was created by the drugs. She helped me to find forgiveness for myself and to walk with grace. Creo Spero had a huge impact on my recovery!
Kam mapped out a custom program specifically for me and my trauma issues. Moments of clarity and insight happened often in Creo Spero. Making it such a educational and enjoying experience!
I particularly loved that the Therapist, Case Managers, and the group Facilitaters colabed hands on scenerios specific to my recovery issues.

I just had a wonderful experience at New Spirit. Its honestly sad to see the dude below me would go to this level, i was a client at new spirit while he was here and boy oh boy you can really tell when someone wants to get sober and when someone doesn't. This program offered so many great meals i only ate the same thing once in 30 days. This place went above and beyond when it came to detoxing me from alcohol, their medical team made sure i was safe. When i was feeling down they even brought me 2 puppies to come support me for the day, i think those are the 2 dogs he was talking about, sorry dude that i was my fault =(.
I was actually wondering if they even did have canned tuna i didn't see any when i was there, maybe he ate them all. all i can say is that this place really made a difference for me because i really wanted to get sober and better myself.
