Greetings, Jacob Tudor from C-South here to give my feedback about this facility! There is a nurse that was kind to me when I was rude to them. This was life changing, I mean I did a 180 degree turn around from the time I arrived to the time I left. Of course not every staff member was outstanding but these people truly care about their role in your recovery. I have been to one other facility in my life and these memories serve as a great reminder to start again in a productive direction:) Thank you to all of the staff and I had a productive time in this facility.

Aurora has truly saved my life. The staff in RTC and PHP/IOP have introduced me to a new way of life. I was on the path to a certain, horrific, alcoholic death. This place has held me at my worst, guided me when I could not see, encouraged me when I did not believe in myself, and believes in me and understands me like no one else ever has. I am forever grateful for this place and the beautiful, selfless people that helped me along the way.

Sadly I ended up here looking for help in anger management and parenting. And the counselors were amazing, great people. I learned a lot, mental health is an issue nowadays and I thank God for taking me to this place. Also, the ladies from the front desk were always super nice and helpful.

It’s been over 8 years since I have been here last. By the grace of God I am 5 years and one month clean today. I can not speak on the current staffing other than for a young woman at the front desk named Adriana. I had to call today (needed some info on my old case) multiple time’s and ask several questions. Every time I called and spoke to her she was friendly, helpful and made me feel comfortable talking about my past when I try very hard to forget about it all together. I thank and appreciate her for that . As for my time spent there many years ago, I enjoyed it as much as one could . Looking back at it, I wasn’t ready to get clean yet but definitely gave it my first solid try while attending my classes. It’s like this, You get what YOU put in to it.

I'll be 8 months sober/clean on 5/9/25 and it's all because of Puente House and how it has been a truly life-changing place for me. The structure, accountability, and supportive community have played a major role in helping me rebuild my life in recovery. It’s clear that the staff and leadership are committed to creating an environment where people can genuinely grow and heal. While no place is perfect, what stands out here is the consistency in support and the focus on long-term sobriety. I’m incredibly grateful for the foundation this program has given me—not just to stay sober, but to thrive.

When I first arrived at the Puente House, I was scared. Not because of the place — but because I was newly sober and trusting anything (including my own shoelaces ) was hard to do. But this place became my weird little sanctuary of sanity and awkward bonding. The staff introduced me to a community of people who showed me how to stay sober and enjoy life at the same time which I thought was impossible. They somehow manage to be supportive without being preachy. It’s like they’ve mastered the art of parenting adults who are learning how to human again. The house itself is clean and free of nonsense (most days). Everyone there is just as broken and rebuilding as you are ( if they say they aren’t they’re lying ) 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get their life together without losing their sense of humor.

I’ve been coming to this club for a while now. I go to the 12:30 or 5:00 pm happy hour! The rooms get around 20+ people buuuut only about 5 people share. There needs to be more structure at these meetings. There should be somebody that uses a timer to time people 💡 (ex 3 mins shares 10 min lead) they need to try to get as many people possible to share at a meeting Sorry but somebody doesn’t need to start the meeting talking for 20+ minutes while there’s 20+ people there.

I went there in November of 2024 because I was desperate to get help. They were very helpful with getting me there, checking with me before I got there, and making sure I didn't change my mind about going (as most of us do when It comes to getting sober). I had an awesome time there, the staff was great (they had their off days, as us alcoholics/addicts do). We were busy most all day every day. They take you to the gym 3x a week, they do panels, and outside meetings as well. The facility itself is clean, there's laundry machines, snacks & coffee on deck 24/7, they take you to the vape shop and wal mart once a week, and they are working on more outside activities. There were tvs and DVD players in every unit with a TON of dvds. No bed time so you are free to roam around the facility or chill and watch TV. The groups got a little boring (but if you are with a good group of guys they are a lot of fun and informative). The way insurance and every thing works was a little frustrating because it's on a weekly basis if you stay on the treatment side or go to phase 2. You are allowed your phone 3x a day for a hour each time. The units are awesome, it is an apartment (if you go try to get into the one above the kitchen on the left haha). Mike who is one of the main dudes is an awesome person! I am currently on day 63 and if it weren't for the lighthouse I would most likely be either dead or in the process of drinking myself to death. If you are in need of help, do the hard thing and ask for it. The money, job, or whatever it is that is keeping you from going won't be there much longer if you continue to do what you're doing. I love you all and hope this helps!

I would like to thank all of the Wonder staff at Aegis Pasadena, they have helped me in so many ways! First off I would like to thank Susan (hopefully spelling her name correctly) who was the main manager, there when I got there 10 years ago - because if it literally wasn't for her, I would possibly still be out in the streets or worse. idk if she knows this but she literally changed my life that day. I came at a bad time that day of intake and I wouldn't have been able to dose then because of me coming so late from taking 3 buses to get there, So I was basically going to "check out" and go back to the streets to my addiction and possibly never come back again after I realized I wasn't going to be able to dose then. To make a long story short - I was able to go to the El Monte Clinic that day and dose there and come back to the Pasadena clinic So I'm forever thankful to Susan for that day!also for all the chances you gave me! Thank you Susan once again 🙏 🙏 🙏 For all your help in my journey! I also want to thank Neelam, for bringing light and smiles to Aegis, especially when places like these can get "dark" at times because of where us patients are coming from. So thank you Neelam!!! 🙏 Thank you to all my counselors Jessica & Nadia and the rest I've had there - thank you as well! Because of you guys I actually like counseling now lol unlike other places outside of there that I didn't like lol. So You guys made me feel comfortable and actually listened and helped me in so many ways thanks you! Jabari the manager there - thank you man! I wanted to say that (Jabari) didn't make me feel like just another "number" there. He TRULY cares and has tons of wisdom, and is compassionate as well, he truly wants the best for us as they all do there! I've been to other clinics and let me tell you guys that this is by far the BEST one I've been too! I highly recommend it if you know or have anyone that's out there!! I will forever recommend this place to the people that want to get clean and change their life around, this is the place! Give them a call! Wish you guys all a Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Happy New Year! 🙏 💪 Thank you guys!

If you are in the LGBTQ+ family and are looking for a place to feel safe and get sober, make La Fuente your first choice. The therapists and techs here are kind and professional people whose priority is their clients health and sobriety. I came here from Seattle thinking that I would do 30 days and return home. I ended up completing the 3 month program and moving to LA. The sober community here is beautiful and La Fuente does a wonderful of acclimating you to it. If you're a parent, partner or a friend who is worried about a loved one. Know that they will be safe and loved in this space.

If you're LGBTQ+ and struggling with addiction, La Fuente Treatment Center should absolutely be the first place on your list that you consider. I will be forever grateful to La Fuente and its entire staff for helping me with my drug addiction + alcoholism. The clinical staff and therapists helped me to better understand the underlying issues that led me to use and abuse substances. As a gay man, I wanted to find a treatment center where I could comfortably be myself without judgment -- a place where I'd be among others like me within the LGBTQ community. Shockingly, there are very few treatment centers in the country like this. First, the entire staff at La Fuente (who are also all LGBTQ+) are beyond amazing - kind, caring, insightful, helpful, patient, loving, supportive, and inspirational. They made me feel loved until I could learn to love myself again. Second, given that La Fuente only takes a maximum of 10 clients at a time (and it's usually under 10 clients while you're there), it makes for a much more intimate experience (unlike other treatment centers where you simply become a number). Third, La Fuente is very welcoming, clean and comfortable (I ended up having my own room for the majority of my stay). Honestly, it is such a magical and special place. I loved it so much that I stayed for a full 90 days because they made me feel safe and seen. Again, if you're LGBTQ and struggling and looking for help, start here! I'm close to 6 months sober today and feel like I finally have my life back and I owe it all to La Fuente, its program and their entire staff.

La Fuente is the magical place that provided a safe environment to begin my healing and recovery. Everyone from admissions to the therapists and techs went above and beyond to address all client’s needs and meet us where we’re at. It is important to note that the entire team is apart of the LGBTQIA+ community which shows just how dedicated they are to providing a connected, thoughtful approach to their program. I am grateful to say I have my life back because of my time there.

This place gave me a foundation to stand on when I needed help. My advocate Herman was really cool to me. He encouraged me and helped me get through the program. The kitchen staff accommodated my dietary allergy to gluten and were awesome about giving me different types of foods. I got on the right meds thanks to my stay here and I honestly now feel like I can do anything. Dr Perch listened to my concerns and adjusted my meds as needed, something a lot of drs don t do, sadly. If you re looking for a good place to feel safe and get stabilized, this is it. You also earn more privileges as you do the program which helps the day go by faster. It s not like most mental hospitals. It s way more progressive.

I've been here three times and every time I was here was a positive experience for me. I know this is a county facility and have seen negative reviews for this place but this place is much better than every other county facility I have been to. They helped me every time I came here and the staff were very kind and professional. I came here for emergency psychiatric medication. The grounds here are very nice with tables to sit at and relax. There are cats here so bring a can of cat food when you come if you love cats. This is also a good place to come to for resources as well. All in all a very positive and pleasant experience for me.

Ok, so must we be reminded of punctuality? I know I do. I was late 15min for Dental and was turned away, I was so upset! BUT, I realized that I am being rude and and inconsiderate to others because I couldn't be more appreciative to others and their time. That's just me. I've worked on my tardiness by the way Mitchell thank you for doing your job. Maybe be more empathetic to patients and happily reschedule. Now about when I' am on time, what a beautiful experience with Dr Gary and Eunice! I look forward to the relief of pain and restoration! Hallejuah! Mind you I dont have to pay a copay or one red cent. That is a blessing. Thank you Gary and Eunice and staff. The staff has changed their tone , but if you come in with a smile that helps. Who knows maybe they're having a bad day or something were all human. Be kind and may peace be with you all. Kindly, Very happy lady. Very happy lady

I spent 9 months at the Royal Palms. I got there scared to death. I hope I never forget that feeling. I shut up sat down and listened. 38 years later I am still sober. They gave me the tools I needed to live life on lifes' terms and I never looked back.

Entered the Royal Palms at 58 days sober on December 3, 2015. Celebrated 9 years sober on October 6th, 2024. Great staff and program. Especially Anthony Tucker, Jim Byrne, Mr. Mojica, Big Soldier, Elgin, Carey Campbell, Del Roy, and Albert Gomez. Judge kept me there for 10 months. Best thing that ever happened to me. Can't leave out, Betty! I hope you are doing well and enjoying your kitchen!

I have been on MMT for several years (mainly do to me being stubborn and still using despite literally not feeling a thing). I can thankfully say that today I am 5.5 years clean, and I have tapered down ~50% of my original peak dose. The doctors, front desk staff, nurses, and manager(s) are very nice, and understanding. The service provided at this Aegis Treatment Centers location by their amazing staff is excellent, and I am thankful everyday for the work they do, and continue to do. They have to put up with some of the worst people often, and for that they have my utmost respect. Thank you for being amazing, patient, and understanding. Thank you for giving me a chance at having a decent life again.

My experience with this institution has been great, staff members come an go quite often, especially in your counseling sector. Otherwise, the treatments your facility offers for opiated causes, have been very well conducted. The cost per month, rose significantly, just in one month alone, their was an increase of $60.00, which is a sufficient amount to some folks like myself. Your manager in your El Monte facility, is fantastic an kind an very caring gentleman, an so are both doctor, an the women Maria who works in your dispensary sector, all counselors that I know are great individuals also, this El Monte facility I would recommend/reference too anyone that’s in need of help , in all aspects! I wish you all the best in health, and the best in the business of mental an physical help , to us all that are in need of your utilization, I personally want to thank you all , w/ all sincerity, you’ve helped mi out tremendously an I’m sure I speak for alota folks that attend your great services! :) May God Bless all your hearts an souls , your entire staff are tremendously great folks, an very helpful an most of all very very kind!!!
