Probably about the worst place in the country. If you can get your PCP to call in your psyche meds, that's the best way to go. High turnover of employees here, have had about 4 prescribers in the past year here, now I don't have one again. Have been waiting a week for a script to get called in, have run out, am starting to wonder if they do this for fun. Same thing last month. Gave it a one star because it won't post unless you give it a star.

Were completely unaware of newest schizophrenia medication, first big antipsychotic change in decades. Non-dopamone based. They do not respond to emails and said flat out they refuse to do zoom or text based therapy. In person only which is not conducive to all personality types. They do not have to modern patient portal to track conversations. They rarely respond to emails. The case worker Emma is not qualified to do employment management, cannot help find an EIN. As long as the patient is medicated and quiet, they are all happy. Referrals take months. They do not know about new treatments and if they do, theyve heard about it but you'll have to just speak to someone at MGH who actually know the tech like for TMS etc. Under qualified, no higher level education, understaffed, not enough continuing education and training, and it shows. Better suited for young children not adults and not serious mental health issues.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

If only someone could actually stop following a system of law that is broken and take sometime to actually talk to someone long enough, they would be able to actually help. But if all you do is work on procedure and hide behind your judicial system to help others; u will continue to see your community self destruct. Your assessment was grossly negligent and you put me in great danger. This is not a center for wellness. Nor the clinical assessment I received accurate and helpful in guiding me out of the painful outlook and feelings I had. The mental health system and people who work within it cannot handle people other than to do what our judicial system dictates. The time I had with this service was unhelpful to say the least.

edit: THEY have been continuously calling and demanding the police arrest me for (get this) TELLING THE TRUTH. They have been on the WARPATH for YEARS trying to destroy me. Why? IDK either. They are vindictive, horrible people who literally HATE their jobs EXCEPT for making nuisance calls to Keene PD. --original post-- Patient abuse is rampant at MFS. They attempt IEAs for no reason on the general public and even Keene PD has refused to enforce them. If they can't IEA and send you to a mental health facility on a completely bogus IEA then they try to get you to come to their offices under false pretenses in order to arrest you for trespass... with no explanation of reason. They cause and create more mental health problems instead of trying to work them out. Stay away at all costs if you value your freedom. They have weaponized KPD.

This place is staffed by people who only seem to be in the business to further their own career/interests they don't pretend to care at all. Just a bunch of ladder climbing careerists stepping on the ill to lift themselves up

The representative they connected me with on Wednesday at 9am was very pushy, incredibly rude, and started to scream at me through the phone in a clearly irritated manner because I am hard of hearing and kept apologizing for asking her to speak up. When I told her that the way she was talking to me was rude she said "sorry, but you're not really giving me a choice here" then scoffed at me. When she put me on hold, the machine eventually hung up and there was no follow up call. Terrible morning staff customer service. I should have read the reviews before calling.

Had an intake appointment there and they never ever got back to me about a therapist or which DBT group they were going to assign me. I called and my current therapist called SEVERAL TIMES, including the CLINICAL DIRECTOR, left with voicemail every time and they NEVER REACHED OUT BACK. This place is a joke. Extremely unprofessional. Will never recommend to anyone and never will return.
