Corinne is a caseworker at the Gatehouse Recovery center. She is great at what she does and can help you with whatever you need. She's helped me with alot of things and for that I'm grateful for. Staff was friendly and kind, went after work 15 minutes before they closed and they did not make me feel rushed or unwanted. Dr. Wu was a blessing. Proper diagnosis and speedy prescription. Even calling to make sure the pharmacy would be open and suggested which to go to so I could start getting better same day.

Wow! I have never experienced the level of kindness and professionalism from any hospital, Doctor, or nurse in my 57 years on this earth. I was visiting from out of state and suddenly had a scary heart issue. Upon arrival, I was wheeled into the ER before the admission lady even had my bracelet on. The nurses (every one of them) particularly Julie, were exceptional, calming me down, being extremely gentle ( especially with the IV) and stayed with me. The ER doc O’Brian, was there within minutes giving the medication orders and then checking on me every 30 seconds. The cardiologist (Reinhold?) also arrived quickly and explained everything that was happening or going to happen with a calm and easy demeanor. After that, the hospital doc (Tuliano?) arrived and had already read my whole history and spent a great deal of time with me. They decided to admit me and from the second I left the ER, the entire 4th floor staff was over accommodating and kind. Shout out to Jake for never rushing through questions and providing me with an in depth explanation of what was happening to me…shoutout to Sophia for not barging in all night long but quietly giving me enough attention so I could get a good nights sleep, and huge shout out to Julie and the other ER staff for their unbelievable kindness and patience . Not that I ever want to return, but I would drive as far as I had to to go the SNHMC. Keep up the awesome work!!

I am a retired RN and was visiting my daughter at the hospital. The staff was incredibly polite, caring and attentive all the way from MDs to housekeepers. They introduced themselves, offered extra chairs. ,water not only to the patient but also the visitors. Names I remember: Jake, RN , Belma, RN and several LNAs . Dates: 8/15 -16- 2026.

I was in the ICU from 6/15/26 to 6/19/26. It was a frightening experience as I had not been in the hospital since I had my children over 30 yrs ago. The staff of ICU were excellent treated me with kindness dignity and professionalism. I would recommend this part of the hospital to anyone who needed this level of care. Six months ago I showed up in Nashua, NH a broken and hopeless person. I was out of options and I believed I would never truly get better. I had been to a dozen other treatment facilities and from the moment I got here I knew things would be different. They cared about me when I couldn't care for myself and they provided the structure and encouragement I needed to heal. The entire staff genuinely cares about each and every patient, from the behavioral techs to the CEO. In terms of actual care the clinical director and my therapist, April, has literally changed my life. I had been misdiagnosed with bipolar disease for years and she recognized this and started to treat me for PTSD. My medications and treatment were directly focused on this diagnosis and finally my outlook on myself and what was possible had changed. Slowly over time i have been able to conquer my emotional and mental struggles through therapy and the coping skills I was taught. The individual therapy sessions which are done weekly are unparalleled in terms of quality and depth. Why I worked on my internal struggles I was introduced to the best recovery community I have been apart of here in Nashua, NH. We are everywhere up here and we are thriving and I truly feel a part of something bigger than myself. I am so happy with this place I have decided to stay up here. GH Recovery Solutions gave me a home again, a place I belonged and for that I am forever in their debt.

The staff, the facility, and living arrangements I consider the best treatment program I’ve been to hands down. My individual therapy sessions with April were amazing. By far the best therapist I’ve ever had. The way she makes you think about your past and yourself and helps you to deal with issues your having past, present, and future is amazing. I hope I can find another therapist half as good as she is. I’d highly recommend GH to anyone trying to get clean and sober. Never been to a more helpful treatment center. Thank you to all the staff that helped on a daily basis get me through the day. You guys are awesome keep up the great work.

I am truly grateful for Springhill Recovery. Immediately I was made to feel at ease, safe & secure. I quickly realized that I was in competent, caring hands with all of the staff that I met. I learned so much about myself here! I can see where I need to work on a few things and I now have some of the tools to do that, thanks to the amazing groups, clinicians, RS staff & case managers at Springhill. Been here twice if I'm honest. I can't recommend NFA enough. Sober since 6/10/25, the program works if you actually WANT to get better. The staff are nice, the food is good, the living situation does require patience but overall it is good. You will be accepted into a community and your case manager will help you out with resources. As long as you follow the rules (which isn't hard at all) you will get along fine here and even then you really have to go out of your way to get kicked out.

Place has amazing people here and is run very well. Still has room to improve for 1 on 1 counseling. Most counseling is done in a group so your personal endeavors and info is aired out most of the time. However this place will proved a place to heal and detox extremely comfortably if needed. Bed pillows are plastic covered so bring a pillow and blanket to be more at home.

I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group. I credit a great deal of my success on Aware Recovery.

I'm over 5 years sober now and I've been working in the Substance Use Disorder field for over 3 years now. I'm actually creating an updated resource sheet, which is why I ended up on here haha. But I figured while Im here, I should post a review about my own experience. I went to Granite House back around 2020. My experience was great, I definitely had some ups and downs however the downs were 100% self induced. Although the staff and the group of people I was within were all incredible- I just wasn't ready yet at that time. I went to about half a dozen treatment programs throughout my addiction, but to this day I tell people "if you have medicaid and you're looking to go to rehab in NH - Granite House the best place to go." It is my first choice for referral out of all the treatment centers in the state! Its obviously been a while since I was there, 7 years or so, but I have had clients tell me about their recent experiences and they all say the same thing " Its like a big family. " I couldn't agree more! Thank you Granite House for your continued dedication to those who are in need of a safe, caring and trustworthy treatment center during their most vulnerable days. New Hampshire has lost a lot of good, helpful, and solid places over the past several years but to see you still standing and providing people with treatment is truly deeply appreciated!!! * If you're reading this - and are trying to figure out if this is the right choice... as someone who statistically was not supposed to and never should have made it out... my advice is ; Ask yourself what do you have to loose by trying? By showing up and giving yourself the chance? Compared to ... if you stay..? And don't even give it a try? We do recover - It takes time and its not easy - but nothing in life worth having, ever comes easy! You are more than worth it, so take the chance 🫶

The Granite House saved my life. If you can set aside 28 days of your life in order to have many more good days ahead, definitely do this program. It isn't easy and it forces you to face some hard truths, but I promise it is worth it. The staff is awesome 👌 and I made good friends for life. You can do it, I believe in you and TGH.

I’m two and a half years clean thanks to this place. To keep it short, I left detox and went to another facility that was extremely strict about AA and pushed it in a way that didn’t work for me. When I expressed that, it became an issue, so I chose to leave.. leaving was difficulty the other facility made me walk miles and miles before allowing myself a cell phone and left my stranded in the middle of nowhere. I got the courage after leaving to find another facility and CHOOSE NOT TO GO BACK TO THE LIFESTYLE I ONCE HAD. Finding Mayflower made all the difference. I appreciated that they allowed a more balanced, normal routine outside of meetings—you could relax, watch TV, do crafts, play basketball, and still focus on recovery. They also offered a different approach to sobriety that felt more supportive and personalized. What really stood out was the medical staff—they were always there when I needed them and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. This was my first time getting sober, and I’ve stayed sober ever since because of this place.. great food as well. I’m so thankful for this place because without them I don’t know where I would be today. If one place isn’t a fit for you in recovery please find the next place and do not give up!

Any veteran struggling with their care should transfer to this facility. The staff is responsive, intelligent, and happy to genuinely help you. I have read some of the negative reviews on here and the only thing I can say is when your going through detox every bad thing that happens is greatly magnified and things are not always as bad as you think. It’s a detox not day camp. If you are truly being sick and tired of being sick and tired and you want help getting clean and sober I would suggest going to Farnum. This place definitely saved my life. If you are looking for a place that will help in your recovery then please reach out to them. I didn’t get it right the first time so I’ve been there twice over the course of 5 years but both times I’ve been there all of the staff were all very helpful and caring. To anyone reading this “you are not alone and recovery is at your fingertips.” Good luck!
