I’ve been with Dr. Michelle LeClerc at Harbor Care Health for 7 years & she is the most caring, intelligent, compassionate, real, and most genuine doctor I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of doctors throughout the years. She’s the only one that stuck with me through my bad times through me missing appointments, several health scares, and despite not even being my primary care has done more for me than my actual primary care doctor has. The staff and nurses at Harbor health go above and beyond for you as a patient, and I never met a group of people that truly do care about the patients that go there. They don’t just brush you off or say they’re going to do something and not follow through, everyone at the clinic is persistent, caring, trustworthy, real and absolutely amazing! I feel blessed to have found this practice and will miss Dr. Michelle LeClerc when she retires, she’s never let me down, and I don’t even think she realizes just how much she’s helped me maintain my sobriety by being there, being supportive and being a genuine guardian angel!!!

| Gatehouse Treatment is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center located in Nashua, NH. It specializes in various addictions and substance use disorders by providing comprehensive and evidence based treatment to individuals seeking recovery. With a team of experienced professionals, GateHouse offers a range of levels of care and services design | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Based on my personal experience, I would 100% recommend GateHouse to anyone struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders. I've been struggling with substance abuse for many years with bouts of sobriety in between. I've seen my fair share of treatment center. None, in my opinion, compare to GateHouse.
1. The clinical team is top notch and go above and beyond to help educate clients and teach them new coping skills to ensure their success in recovery. Hunter (my clinician) met with me weekly and was a rock for me during times of uncertainty. She listens without judgement, shares based on experience and offers suggestions on new ways to improve my mental health.
2. Josh (Clinical Director) is a prime example of his profession. He has successfully helped my fiance and I work through past traumas, stemmed from our use, in weekly one-on-one Couple's Therapy sessions. There have been times where I've met with Josh when I was unsure of something and he's eager to be helpful. He leaves the door to his office wide open for clients. That says so much and I have a lot of respect for him and what he does for this community.
3. The curriculum is outstanding. It's informative, educational and absolutely attainable if put to use. Clinicians facilitate these groups, breaking the information down so that everyone has an understanding of what is being taught. I always leave Brittney and Geno's groups with a different, more positive perspective and new skills to practice in my daily affairs to better myself as a woman in recovery.
4. GateHouse Case Managers advocate for their clients and take time with each one in setting up aftercare plans and relapse prevention plans. They truly care for the success of their clients. Marcus (my Case Worker) has helped me attain appointments that better served my health. He has educated me on sober living and my options all while encouraging me to make choices that will be best for me. He's an amazing person and I'm grateful I was assigned to him upon my arrival at GateHouse.
5. During my stay at GateHouse, Couple's Therapy Group was formed, held once a week and facilitated by Geno. This group was crucial for my fiance and I and our road to healing. It was a safe space to connect with other couples who have gone through similar situations as us and gain new perspectives. Geno taught us new coping skills, constructive and healthy ways to communicate with one another, boundaries and how to ease ourselves back into our children's lives in the most caring and loving way. GateHouse's decision to incorporate this group into their program has benefited my fiance, myself and many more clients.
6. The BHT Staff are the absolute best that I've ever encountered. They too are working their own programs in recovery and have a personal understanding of what clients are experiencing. It's much easier for me, as an alcoholic, to listen to a fellow alcoholic rather than someone who doesn't have personal experience with substance abuse. Every staff member has their own amazing, unique qualities that make them an absolute asset to GateHouse. There's not one of them that isn't helpful, personable, and (most importantly to me) willing to hold you accountable in a loving, caring way so that you have the opportunity to better yourself. Personally, I believe they deserve a raise. They offer so much more to GateHouse other than their job duties. They have the ability to connect with clients based on their experiences inside and other side of work. Each one is a walking symbol of Hope and that the program does work, if you work it.
All in all, I've had an amazing experience with GateHouse and feel that I have the tools that I need to start the next chapter in my recovery. Thank you GateHouse friends! You've truly made a difference in my life and will be dearly missed!

My name is Kenneth Caudill, I entered GateHouse three months ago. In that time frame I learned more about myself and my addiction then I ever thought possible. I was scared and nervous at first with me being a first time treatment guy. Upon entering gate house you meet the caring and in touch ppl you'll ever meet. They don't look at you like a dollar sighn, they look at you like a human being and a person. The respect and kindness is unbelievable to say the least. I was just an addict and alcoholic who messed up and came thru there doors, but they made me feel right at home and like a person.
The staff there will walk you thru the steps explaining everything to you as you go. They help you get comfortable and really at ease in the halls. They make sure they help you with all your needs from dentistry to EBT to eye glasses and so much more. They truly are an amazing bunch of genuine human beings.
The instructors there are all well qualified and for me geniuses far beyond what I can see. There not only there to help you recognize your addiction and how to deal with it on an everyday basis. But to lend yiu an ear when yiu need it, or talk to you when things aren't going well. The techs are just as super amazing, friendly humerous and always willing to listen or poke jokes to make you smile. From transporting to UAs to just being genuine human beings the techs rock....
My thoughts
" I said to myself. Im scared and I cant do this" Collin said "bro you can, I got you " Tab sealed the deal by saying we're happy your here, this is where you will get better" I believed them both. I hold the house staff aka techs high up there not just be ause I was a client but because I had a band of brothers willing and able to help me when I was lost"
Between all of the techs at the houses and clinical, the instructors at clinical to the upper management all around I could not be more genuine then screaming "THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME" I will never forget any of you and I appreciate you 10,000 percent...
Much love and admiration

I have had amazing experiences here, I’ve learned new ways and skills to cope my addiction to alcohol. I’m still in treatment here, and I would like to share with you all how I’ve been treated and how I will continue to be treated. The staff are amazing they are always there to help with anything; talking about things, if u need to get it off your chest, getting you what u need to be successful. I have a few favorite staff, those people include; Kyle Haskell, Collin Darby, and Wayne Theriault. These staff members have helped me on my journey to recovery, and will continue to do everything in their power to help me get to where I need to be to be able to stand on my two feet.

| The Southern New Hampshire Medical Center is a community hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire. While they don’t provide substance use disorder treatment at this location, they can refer you to the network’s Center for Recovery Management for a full continuum of care. Nashua has multiple public transportation options, so reaching the clinic | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I see all the negative reviews, and I'm astonished. Having been both a patient and a family visitor at SHNMC more than once in the past 43 years, I have nothing but good things to say about the ED, about surgery and the PACU, and about the wards. My wife and I have always been treated professionally, with kindness and honest concern, by all around us. I just brought her home after several days in hospital for spinal surgery. Nobody did a song and dance routine in the corridors for us 😆 but otherwise it was as good a hospital stay as I can remember.
The only negative comment I can register is about the food, which seems to be designed to be unpalatable. (Once upon a time, SNHMC had an award-winning kitchen.)
As for long waits in the ED waiting room, I don't like to wait any more than the next person, but that's the way life is in every ED I've known. The whole point of triage is to ensure that the people most in need of urgent care are taken first. Your bump on the noggin probably doesn't trump the multiple compound fractures or the heart attack of that other person.
There's another good hospital in town, but my choice always goes to SNHMC.

I was brought to SNHMC on May 15 by ambulance and was in the ICU for 11 days. I was unconscious then and would be for five days. I had pneumonia following a seizure. My husband, who sat with me for all 5 of those days, said that the care of the nurses and doctor was extraordinary.
When I woke up - confused and disoriented - the staff was amazing. I could have been left alone that first night but I wasn't. Nurses came in regularly to check on me and see if I had questions or concerns.
I believe I received incredible care from the kindest staff I have ever met. I simply can't say enough good things about the way my husband and I were treated. While I hope never to need their services again, SNHMC was absolutely amazing and I would gladly seek service there again if I should need it.

Six months ago I showed up in Nashua, NH a broken and hopeless person. I was out of options and I believed I would never truly get better. I had been to a dozen other treatment facilities and from the moment I got here I knew things would be different. They cared about me when I couldn't care for myself and they provided the structure and encouragement I needed to heal. The entire staff genuinely cares about each and every patient, from the behavioral techs to the CEO. In terms of actual care the clinical director and my therapist, April, has literally changed my life. I had been misdiagnosed with bipolar disease for years and she recognized this and started to treat me for PTSD. My medications and treatment were directly focused on this diagnosis and finally my outlook on myself and what was possible had changed. Slowly over time i have been able to conquer my emotional and mental struggles through therapy and the coping skills I was taught. The individual therapy sessions which are done weekly are unparalleled in terms of quality and depth. Why I worked on my internal struggles I was introduced to the best recovery community I have been apart of here in Nashua, NH. We are everywhere up here and we are thriving and I truly feel a part of something bigger than myself. I am so happy with this place I have decided to stay up here. GH Recovery Solutions gave me a home again, a place I belonged and for that I am forever in their debt.

The staff, the facility, and living arrangements I consider the best treatment program I’ve been to hands down. My individual therapy sessions with April were amazing. By far the best therapist I’ve ever had. The way she makes you think about your past and yourself and helps you to deal with issues your having past, present, and future is amazing. I hope I can find another therapist half as good as she is. I’d highly recommend GH to anyone trying to get clean and sober. Never been to a more helpful treatment center. Thank you to all the staff that helped on a daily basis get me through the day. You guys are awesome keep up the great work.

Nashua is the 103rd most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $58532. This is comparable to the average cost of $58777 for addiction treatment in New Hampshire and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Nashua vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Nashua. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Nashua that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Nashua.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Nashua, with 4 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Cigna is the 2nd most popular with 4 treatment centers accepting it followed by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care in 3rd accepted by 4 drug rehabs.
Nashua has the 28th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Hillsborough county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Nashua or Hillsborough county as a whole.
In 2023, Nashua had the 212th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 268 reported drug-related incidents that year.
