Nashua, NH | Gatehouse Treatment is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center located in Nashua, NH. Based on my personal experience, I would 100% recommend GateHouse to anyone struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders. I've been struggling with substance abuse for many years with bouts of sobriety in between. I've seen my fair share of treatment center. None, in my opinion, compare to GateHouse.
1. The clinical team is top notch and go above and beyond to help educate clients and teach them new coping skills to ensure their success in recovery. Hunter (my clinician) met with me weekly and was a rock for me during times of uncertainty. She listens without judgement, shares based on experience and offers suggestions on new ways to improve my mental health.
2. Josh (Clinical Director) is a prime example of his profession. He has successfully helped my fiance and I work through past traumas, stemmed from our use, in weekly one-on-one Couple's Therapy sessions. There have been times where I've met with Josh when I was unsure of something and he's eager to be helpful. He leaves the door to his office wide open for clients. That says so much and I have a lot of respect for him and what he does for this community.
3. The curriculum is outstanding. It's informative, educational and absolutely attainable if put to use. Clinicians facilitate these groups, breaking the information down so that everyone has an understanding of what is being taught. I always leave Brittney and Geno's groups with a different, more positive perspective and new skills to practice in my daily affairs to better myself as a woman in recovery.
4. GateHouse Case Managers advocate for their clients and take time with each one in setting up aftercare plans and relapse prevention plans. They truly care for the success of their clients. Marcus (my Case Worker) has helped me attain appointments that better served my health. He has educated me on sober living and my options all while encouraging me to make choices that will be best for me. He's an amazing person and I'm grateful I was assigned to him upon my arrival at GateHouse.
5. During my stay at GateHouse, Couple's Therapy Group was formed, held once a week and facilitated by Geno. This group was crucial for my fiance and I and our road to healing. It was a safe space to connect with other couples who have gone through similar situations as us and gain new perspectives. Geno taught us new coping skills, constructive and healthy ways to communicate with one another, boundaries and how to ease ourselves back into our children's lives in the most caring and loving way. GateHouse's decision to incorporate this group into their program has benefited my fiance, myself and many more clients.
6. The BHT Staff are the absolute best that I've ever encountered. They too are working their own programs in recovery and have a personal understanding of what clients are experiencing. It's much easier for me, as an alcoholic, to listen to a fellow alcoholic rather than someone who doesn't have personal experience with substance abuse. Every staff member has their own amazing, unique qualities that make them an absolute asset to GateHouse. There's not one of them that isn't helpful, personable, and (most importantly to me) willing to hold you accountable in a loving, caring way so that you have the opportunity to better yourself. Personally, I believe they deserve a raise. They offer so much more to GateHouse other than their job duties. They have the ability to connect with clients based on their experiences inside and other side of work. Each one is a walking symbol of Hope and that the program does work, if you work it.
All in all, I've had an amazing experience with GateHouse and feel that I have the tools that I need to start the next chapter in my recovery. Thank you GateHouse friends! You've truly made a difference in my life and will be dearly missed!

Six months ago I showed up in Nashua, NH a broken and hopeless person. I was out of options and I believed I would never truly get better. I had been to a dozen other treatment facilities and from the moment I got here I knew things would be different. They cared about me when I couldn't care for myself and they provided the structure and encouragement I needed to heal. The entire staff genuinely cares about each and every patient, from the behavioral techs to the CEO. In terms of actual care the clinical director and my therapist, April, has literally changed my life. I had been misdiagnosed with bipolar disease for years and she recognized this and started to treat me for PTSD. My medications and treatment were directly focused on this diagnosis and finally my outlook on myself and what was possible had changed. Slowly over time i have been able to conquer my emotional and mental struggles through therapy and the coping skills I was taught. The individual therapy sessions which are done weekly are unparalleled in terms of quality and depth. Why I worked on my internal struggles I was introduced to the best recovery community I have been apart of here in Nashua, NH. We are everywhere up here and we are thriving and I truly feel a part of something bigger than myself. I am so happy with this place I have decided to stay up here. GH Recovery Solutions gave me a home again, a place I belonged and for that I am forever in their debt.

The staff, the facility, and living arrangements I consider the best treatment program I’ve been to hands down. My individual therapy sessions with April were amazing. By far the best therapist I’ve ever had. The way she makes you think about your past and yourself and helps you to deal with issues your having past, present, and future is amazing. I hope I can find another therapist half as good as she is. I’d highly recommend GH to anyone trying to get clean and sober. Never been to a more helpful treatment center. Thank you to all the staff that helped on a daily basis get me through the day. You guys are awesome keep up the great work.

Arbour Counseling Services has helped me now for about 15 years. I am putting myself out there hesitantly. I don't know who will read this, maybe people I know, maybe not. I have struggled with Major Depression along with addiction issues. I've suffered tremendously in the past, unable to work, and slowly getting better. I would like to express my gratitude and happiness towards my counselors, first being Deb K., for helping me for fourteen years. And Ashley, the most honest, sincere, caring, funny and helpful woman. She went out of her way to help me. She is and will be very special to me. Thank you Ashley ❤️🌷And Chris, also, for guiding me with his special training. And my other many counselors. And Emily S., who will continue to help me.
And last but not least, Martha, who's long term, dedicated employment has respectively earned my deep respect. Thank you all, gratefully humble. ~ Lorraine S.

The people that work here. That’s the difference. This place will absolutely, do whatever they can to help you. I honestly, can’t stress it enough.
This is run by Diana and she’s not just a big shot that stays in her office. The first week she was here, she invited me in, just to ask me how I was doing and if I needed anything to make it easier for me. Her door is always open and I always feel welcome. Felipe has been great to me from the moment I met him. He always makes the ins. problems or billing, much, much easier. Heidi and the nursing team, Sage, the two receptionists, and of course, my main man, Darrin. These people are now all friends, to me and I care for them all.
I do all my work and whatever is asked of me. If I have an appointment, I show up. I follow the program and I’ve had very few issues. It’s been one of the best moves I’ve made in my life.
Give this place a chance if you want to change things. I would refer anyone that wants a fresh start, here it is. This is it. Anyone can build a building but the people are always the key. In any business.
Anyway, thank you to all the friends I met at CTC and I and grateful to you. 😘

Are you searching for a place where you can get your life back on track following addiction? Adult & Teen Challenge New Hampshire, located in Manchester, is a place where miracles can happen in your life, where their residence program can replace an empty soul without hope or purpose with direction and the love of the Lord!
We saw, first-hand, the work of Adult & Teen Challenge! A dear loved one enrolled in their program, a broken young man who spent 10 years going in and out of prison for taking and dealing drugs.
Through Adult & Teen Challenge NH’s structured program of graduated phases, he was taught how to live without dependency on drugs, of the reality of Jesus Christ and of how the Lord can completely transform a life. This young man’s empty soul became filled with love and forgiveness. He became a new person - the manifestation of a miracle in his life.
A Bible verse that makes us think of Adult & Teen Challenge New Hampshire is this: “Therefore if anyone is a new creation, the old things are passed away; behold, all things become new.” II Corinthians 5:17
If you or someone you know, needs a fresh start…a new direction, then Adult & Teen Challenge New Hampshire is the place to begin your miraculous transformation. Even if you aren’t interested in things of God – this is the place you or your loved one needs to be!!!

Reading these reviews make me sad, i know it is probably a lot of teens who are mad they got sent to the hospital. i have been to Hampstead unfortunately over a handful of times and the staff there were some of the most kind and caring people. maybe not all but the ones who were made a huge impact in my life, im in my 20s now. i usually don’t leave reviews but i feel i had to as its not fair to the amazing people who genuinely care for the kids in the mental health units. Max especially.

Wilmington, MA | Located in Wilmington, Massachusetts, Milestone Emergency Residence is a short-term residential treatment center for youth aged 12 to 18. They operate under NFI Massachusetts and provide care for a range of different behavioral health concerns, including trauma, family conflict, substance abuse, and emotional disturbance. If you reside here, you ca | Treatments Payment Options | Just called Hampstead Hospital to find out information and to see whether any of their programs would be an appropriate fit for my son. I was appalled by how rude the residential intake treatment staff was on the phone. They acted like they couldn't get me off the phone fast enough, and the tone of their voice was extremely condescending and almost ridiculing. I am not one to speak up or write reviews, but I was so taken aback by this. I even asked one of them if there was somewhere else they needed to be, because she seemed very inconvenienced to be taking my call. I can't comment on their services, but the intake process definitely made me want to look elsewhere.

Hello. I don’t have much great word of this place.
I’ve been to this psychiatric hospital 4 times over the span of maybe 2 years when I was 12-14. I was in three different units, pierce lincoln and washington before it was renovated. In 2020 the experience within the washington unit was not bad at all, I was able to go in instead of being evaluated by medical hospital as it was COVID. It was funny watching some of the arguments that pursued there.
Anyways, oh pierce unit which was a younger unit. I had a physical altercation with a female, and the amount of young children within this unit was extremely distressing especially if you’re trying to recover from any sort of trauma, or mental health in general.
Now, I’ve been on lincoln unit twice, the first time I hardly remember it was 2021? But I do not recall much of it. The fourth and final visit I’ve had to Hampstead left me traumatised, in so many ways. I was physically assaulted by another patient who jumped into an already going on altercation and deliberately beat on ME. And the staff? They stood all around doing nothing nearly laughing in my face I swear. He nearly broke my orbital and I had to receive an ultrasound on my face as well as be brought to the hospital(?) not sure what it was. I was also sexually assaulted on this unit in the same trip by a person whom I was roomed with.
Overall, if you have any issues that are not bare minimum stuff like depression, anxiety do NOT go here. They will not treat you with care, respect or any dignity and you will be treated as if you are subhuman.

Like many my opinion about methadone was based on other people's stories and experiences. I had reached my rock bottom. My barely 1 yr old baby and I were about to be homeless. We ended up in a family shelter where I kept to myself mostly. Another parent came up to me, very privately gave me a paper with a number, when I looked at it, it said methadone clinic. Of course I replied with "I don't need that". After becoming friends they asked me to take a ride so they could dose. I went only to see all the fuss. That was a Tues. They saw me that day for 2 of the initial 4 appts and by Friday I was dosing... I used that night because it wasn't enough to hold me yet... but that next day... Saturday... I didn't use... nor have I used since. That was Nov 17th, 2009. I've been heroin free since and it was the best decision I refused to make. Lol. I'm in a great support group that are like family. I have 27 take homes. I got a great job I've been at 9 yrs now and bought my first home only 5 yrs ago.
You've got nothing to lose to try. You may find you like being clean... xoxo 😘 🤗 (itried to bite my tongue... but I do have to say idk where some of these pics are from... they are not from my clinic in Lawrence... but it does look like it's a combination of clinics bcuz I've been to Lowell once and I see some familiar areas)
