If you're looking for a place to learn how to get sober and stay sober check out Casco Bay Recovery! I had the opportunity to take advantage of their PHP(partial hospitalized patient) program and their IOP(intensive out patient) program. The PHP program runs 6 days a week 6 hours a day including a long lunch. You get to spend the day with BHTs and clinical group facilitators who educate you on the disease model, model of addiction and the 12 steps of AA. Along with fun activitys, meditation and ice breakers. The IOP program is great when you have some sobriety time under belt and enables you to focus on your recovery while also tending to family life and work. It runs 4 days a week, two and half hours a day with an option of morning or night depending on your schedule. The structure of the program includes meeting with a councler and psychiatric nurse practicioner. Leslie Briggs will bring you through the admissions process which is simple and convienent. I had a positive experience with clinical including Matt, Amanda, Bella and Kevin. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Julie was very helpful and caring. BHT Noah doesn't disappoint when it comes to exciting activitys, being a good listener and making you laugh. You'll get a chance to meet Program Coordinator Mike. B who is very recovery smart and is the man to talk to when you need realistic, direct and positively impactful input. In addition to all the things they can and will do for you, they will direct you toward sober living for men and women, meetings, sponsorship, Family Restored Meetings for your non-alcoholic friends and family and more. My experience at Green Mountain treatment centers was absolutely incredible, I had been searching for the right place to finally conquer this monster inside me for a very long time. From the very star green Mountain was just what I needed and all aspects as far as guidelines support And the tools to be successful afterwards. Since graduating the program, I have been very involved in the alumni program which shockingly extends just as far As the Php program does, which is rare at most treatment centers once you leave it’s over but I have stayed connected Thankfully, to the alumni program. I love green Mountain and everything it did for me.

Aside from the incredible view, the mountain is full of beauty. There is beauty in the way the staff makes you feel comforted and welcome, the community that surrounds you and the solution being shared- a solution to find the light again. I found peace, love and support here. I am so grateful for this place and I 10/10 recommend reaching them if you need help!

I'm more then pleased, this woman is literally one of the best therapist I've ever had, she actually cares, she's great with providing information, she's an all around privilege to be around. I had my first day today! And I feel really excited and hopeful- it seems very structured, everyone seemed really happy, I saw tons of familiar faces, and I felt very welcomed! Thanks Gatehouse for the opportunity- looking forward to our opportunity together!

Based on my personal experience, I would 100% recommend GateHouse to anyone struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders. I've been struggling with substance abuse for many years with bouts of sobriety in between. I've seen my fair share of treatment center. None, in my opinion, compare to GateHouse. 1. The clinical team is top notch and go above and beyond to help educate clients and teach them new coping skills to ensure their success in recovery. Hunter (my clinician) met with me weekly and was a rock for me during times of uncertainty. She listens without judgement, shares based on experience and offers suggestions on new ways to improve my mental health. 2. Josh (Clinical Director) is a prime example of his profession. He has successfully helped my fiance and I work through past traumas, stemmed from our use, in weekly one-on-one Couple's Therapy sessions. There have been times where I've met with Josh when I was unsure of something and he's eager to be helpful. He leaves the door to his office wide open for clients. That says so much and I have a lot of respect for him and what he does for this community. 3. The curriculum is outstanding. It's informative, educational and absolutely attainable if put to use. Clinicians facilitate these groups, breaking the information down so that everyone has an understanding of what is being taught. I always leave Brittney and Geno's groups with a different, more positive perspective and new skills to practice in my daily affairs to better myself as a woman in recovery. 4. GateHouse Case Managers advocate for their clients and take time with each one in setting up aftercare plans and relapse prevention plans. They truly care for the success of their clients. Marcus (my Case Worker) has helped me attain appointments that better served my health. He has educated me on sober living and my options all while encouraging me to make choices that will be best for me. He's an amazing person and I'm grateful I was assigned to him upon my arrival at GateHouse. 5. During my stay at GateHouse, Couple's Therapy Group was formed, held once a week and facilitated by Geno. This group was crucial for my fiance and I and our road to healing. It was a safe space to connect with other couples who have gone through similar situations as us and gain new perspectives. Geno taught us new coping skills, constructive and healthy ways to communicate with one another, boundaries and how to ease ourselves back into our children's lives in the most caring and loving way. GateHouse's decision to incorporate this group into their program has benefited my fiance, myself and many more clients. 6. The BHT Staff are the absolute best that I've ever encountered. They too are working their own programs in recovery and have a personal understanding of what clients are experiencing. It's much easier for me, as an alcoholic, to listen to a fellow alcoholic rather than someone who doesn't have personal experience with substance abuse. Every staff member has their own amazing, unique qualities that make them an absolute asset to GateHouse. There's not one of them that isn't helpful, personable, and (most importantly to me) willing to hold you accountable in a loving, caring way so that you have the opportunity to better yourself. Personally, I believe they deserve a raise. They offer so much more to GateHouse other than their job duties. They have the ability to connect with clients based on their experiences inside and other side of work. Each one is a walking symbol of Hope and that the program does work, if you work it. All in all, I've had an amazing experience with GateHouse and feel that I have the tools that I need to start the next chapter in my recovery. Thank you GateHouse friends! You've truly made a difference in my life and will be dearly missed!

If you are willing to go to any length to get sober and start your recovery journey, there is not a better place to be than Topsail. Six months ago I was dying in an ICU unit in Boston. As I’ve pieced my life back together physically, mentally and spiritually Topsail has been my anchor. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Topsails wonderful staff, especially my primary therapist. She helped save my life. If you are still sick and suffering, Topsail can be your beacon of light. I know it continues to be for me.
