I would highly recommend this place to anyone who.is having issues with any substance abuse problems or alcoholic they were great to me the director Kevin had gone above and beyond to help me and make sure I had my medication and anything I needed I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place and it gave me a whole new out look on life and getting help in general I never wanted to go to treatment cuss of how I thought it might be but this had absolutely changed my mind they are very caring and will do anything to sute somones needs if it's in there power if you need help or know anyone who does there absolutely the place to go

Groups is AWESOME, I've been coming here for about 2 years I think. They are MORE than just a place to get your medicine and run, they are understanding and you can ALWAYS ALWAYS be honest with them. They will help you and be there for you to the best of their ability as long as you show up and participate. If you really want this, if you show that you care about your recovery, they show they care maybe more than you do!. The Group setting is a little nerve racking at first, but everyone is open and wants to listen and help, you just have to let people into your heart, its the only way ❤

Great not for profit company thats 100% volunteer based company. They do a lot of great thing's in the community and for the community of York County. One of the amazing thing's they do is offer a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center free of charge to York County residents. They also offer a Men and Woman's Shelter in Alfred, ME. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They do an amazing job and I really hope they keep up the amazing job they do, do because they are truly the very BEST at all they do for the community and the people in York County. I'm happy to say I was once part of some of the things York County Shelter Program's do. They have forever changed my life for the very best and thats exactly what they aim to do is to better people and their lives. :)

I was a client at SENHS from December 2020 - April 24th 2021. I did the Arc program and then I did Turning Point. We had a Covid outbreak, staff was professional and helped everyone find some place to go and even housed some of the clients until Covid was out of the building. The 5 months that I was there every staff member was professional and cared about both the clients and workers. I cannot say enough good things about them. I am 1 year sober November 30th because SENHS gave me the proper tools for my toolbox to make this work 1day at a time.

Just came home after four weeks at Serenity Treatment Center and it was a wonderful experience. I came home more with a better understanding of my condition and given great coping skills to deal with my anxiety and depression. I want to thank with all my heart two people in particular My clinitions Jack who gave me great one one one therapy with a kind and gentle heart and Rob...both true gemsne. Rob ran many of the group sessions always giving a lot of information and encouraged us to recognize our needs and work on coping skills that for me we're so important. Rob had a way of running groups and not making the groups boring with different approaches such as occasional an chuckle combined with many serious conversations. Anyone lucky enough to enter into the Serenity program is truly lucky. I would be wrong not to acknowledge the techs, nursing, cooking and cleaning staff all wonderful people.

I had been sober for 9 years, taking Suboxone but it was all a lie. I relapsed and everything came crashing down. I went to jail, almost caught a serious charge, was getting evicted from my apartment, my car ready to be repossessed and my life just seemed to spiral out of control. I was on the verge of suicide. I decided to go back to the methadone clinic and start IOP. My journey of healing began. It's just a slip, I will get back up even stronger than before. I know now who is important in my life and who isn't. If I want to change I need to start healing and loving myself first. Something I've never done, everyone else was first. Now it's time for me to be number one. My life matters I don't want to die.

The staff is friendly and extremely helpful!!! I've been in treatment for a little over a year sober for 3 months now started attending IOP which is offered at the clinic and that led me on the path to being completely drug free thanks to all the support that's offered I can finally say LIFE is AMAZING!!! I Called New Season & they got me in the very next morning for a intake & my first dosage. Ladd the program director was who I dealt with & he is always very caring , easy to talk to & understands & genuinely cares about how you’re doing. Ladd has helped me with the whole process from getting into New Season to setting up the check in app on my phone they use & also giving me a very big help setting up insurance… The nurses and my counselor Greg have been great also! I normally do not write reviews for places and I know everyone has different opinions but for me personally this hospital and its staff have been nothing but so kind and caring to me while I was sent there to they’re psych unit for my depression. The nurses there were so kind and compassionate to me and so supportive. If anyone has a family member struggling I recommend they seek help here because they truly do care about their patients mental wellbeing. Thankyou so much to the nurses in the psych unit who looked after me I really do appreciate the support they gave me while at their stay. God bless them all ☺️

Reading these reviews make me sad, i know it is probably a lot of teens who are mad they got sent to the hospital. i have been to Hampstead unfortunately over a handful of times and the staff there were some of the most kind and caring people. maybe not all but the ones who were made a huge impact in my life, im in my 20s now. i usually don’t leave reviews but i feel i had to as its not fair to the amazing people who genuinely care for the kids in the mental health units. Briefly stayed at Hampstead Hospital as a teenager suffering from depression and anxiety. There was a lack of privacy compared to other psych hospitals I’ve stayed at. For example shared bedrooms and bathroom doors that had to stay partially open (even though it was a co-ed unit). However I found the stay to be overall much more comfortable than other hospitals. The staff were kind and interactive with us, something that’s so important but often overlooked in psychiatric healthcare. The group’s were helpful and relevant. The food was great, going to the cafeteria for meals was always nice.

I waited 2 years to leave a review, I thought 2 years of being around this home would give me enough time to truly get to know this place. New life home has helped my love one thrive in life again.The staff here is beyond amazing and really care about the women and children who enter their doors. My favorite part about this place is that it really is a home where you feel loved,cared for and supported. If you are struggling in any aspect of life I 100 percent recommend calling New life homes so they can help you change your life like they did with my family member. New Life Home is not only a safe, beautiful and peaceful haven for women and their children, but also a place where they can grow into the women they were always meant to be. I had the privilege of meeting these awesome families and had the first-hand experience of seeing this program in action as I taught there for about 9 months last year. I saw lives restored and transformed into radiant beauties. The program is exceptional as it follows a holistic approach to provide increasing health in body, mind, soul, and spirit. What a gift! I think all women, including myself, should have the opportunity to go through New Life Home's program and this type of experience. I'm hoping that this organization and their program extends and expands throughout the community and beyond!

Love my psych, but I have been saying my meds aren't working for the past year and all I've been told is that we're gonna increase the dose....
