Helped me so much I'm going back

I had a great experience taking an Impaired Driving course here this summer. After years of trying to sort out my license, the people here were beyond helpful and knowledgeable of the process—they explained everything upfront in terms of cost and expectations. Trina was especially helpful, along with the rest of the staff. I felt seen as a human and truly appreciated their welcoming and positive attitude—I felt I really benefited from taking their program overall. This is really refreshing, after running into what feels like so many roadblocks in an already difficult situation to deal with for many. I am more than grateful that I chose SENHS to take my courses, it felt they actually cared and were very helpful and efficient with the steps along the way.

I was a client at SENHS from December 2020 - April 24th 2021. I did the Arc program and then I did Turning Point. We had a Covid outbreak, staff was professional and helped everyone find some place to go and even housed some of the clients until Covid was out of the building. The 5 months that I was there every staff member was professional and cared about both the clients and workers. I cannot say enough good things about them. I am 1 year sober November 30th because SENHS gave me the proper tools for my toolbox to make this work 1day at a time.

Great staff

Tough review. Ill keep it short. Providers here aren't bad at all but practice seemed to cut back over time on each session in the 4.5 years I was a patient working most of time as a truck driver to this date still. I actually did get well for a most of time but at end lost it on everyone quitting practice and burning bridges with them. It's goes both ways as far my how I was and my thoughts with experience there. 4 to 5 stars first 3 years and 3 at end of tenure as a patient. I blame myself for some of it and should have kept a journal on my progression.

I truly appreciate everyone who works here. Lindsey at the front desk is welcoming, kind, and accommodating. All of the ladies always greet you with a smile making you feel comfortable. My physician, Leah, is the best. I look forward to seeing her every month!

Was a great visit New. Place

Several years ago. I made an appointment with seacoast mental health. I was greeted by a wonderful lady named Betty. I was in a very bad way in a very bad spot in my life. I have had many problems with doctors that just didn't care and was ready to give up I pushed his poor ladies buttons as hard as I could. And I was good at it. And from that point on I will say this lady has saved my life. It has been several years and I owe my life to this one lady at seacoast mental health. I will say in a few short years my whole life has changed. As he perfected the proper medication for me I have become such a better person in life more people like me I deal with everyday problems so much better. And my life has changed 100%. She also got me a case manager. His name is Patrick. And I will say Patrick has the neck to help me deal with the other problems that appear in my everyday home life. He teaches me how to deal with problems with DHS social security problems that arise at work. And keep a proper running household. I will say without these two people I would not be able to make it in normal everyday life I thank them every day I talked to them and I appreciate everything they do for me. My advice to everybody is give seacito's mental health they really do care about their patients and try very hard to make themand try

First time at their office but have been with them for a little around a year or two online, Parking was good There were two areas and plenty of spots which was very nice, The receptionist was very helpful and quickly got me all set and the Provider I have been seeing was great as per usual.

I’m under the care of Ellen McFarland, and after seeing an array of people since 2003, I can say that she is the best therapist I’ve ever seen. She is so realistic, talks to me instead of down, and uses my language, instead of quotes from a book. I can change the office environment at anytime. I’ve sat on the floor for an entire session and she’ll sit low as to not break eye contact. She’s absolutely wonderful, with a great sense of humor

I have been on the clinic 2015 & it has helped me on my road to recovery. I am addicted to opiates(pills) & have not abused them since I've been on clinic, I also gave up drinking alcohol when got on clinic. The "dosing" nurses are great nurses,. They're very friendly, care n have lots of patience to deal with addicts everyday. The receptionist(s),doctor & councilors are awesome too. I've had many councilors since been here & always been happy them. The hours are good during the week but during the wknd rhey should stay open longer(some of us come a long way & durning bad weather it hard to get there before 10am)

I see so much hate being projected on the reviews here. This place honestly saved my life, This place and people are the Reason why I am off of dope. There are a few things that could change though,One of the crappiest Things Are, When you Finally Make it to the clinic,Sometimes on Saturday there is a Enormous line out the door all the way around the building. Other than that it's an amazing safe place. Well I forgot one thing. This is my 3rd counselor which I hope they don't keep leaving.

I know that this place has its issues but doesnt every place and or everyone in the world .i personally give this place a 5 star rating because this clinic is the only reason i am not using heroin any more and the people and the support here is the only reason i was able to get clean and stay clean and sober and get my son back as well thank you !!

Good ppl. Competent Staff. The program works for those who are ready to accept the help and direction back to long term housing.

What a wonderful organization to work with. I was able to make several donations to the gem and they were so gracious. Considering doing volunteer work for them. Staff was exceptional

Great not for profit company thats 100% volunteer based company. They do a lot of great thing's in the community and for the community of York County. One of the amazing thing's they do is offer a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center free of charge to York County residents. They also offer a Men and Woman's Shelter in Alfred, ME. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They do an amazing job and I really hope they keep up the amazing job they do, do because they are truly the very BEST at all they do for the community and the people in York County. I'm happy to say I was once part of some of the things York County Shelter Program's do. They have forever changed my life for the very best and thats exactly what they aim to do is to better people and their lives. :)

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who.is having issues with any substance abuse problems or alcoholic they were great to me the director Kevin had gone above and beyond to help me and make sure I had my medication and anything I needed I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place and it gave me a whole new out look on life and getting help in general I never wanted to go to treatment cuss of how I thought it might be but this had absolutely changed my mind they are very caring and will do anything to sute somones needs if it's in there power if you need help or know anyone who does there absolutely the place to go

I would highly recommend Bonfire for aftercare and sober living. This place has saved my life and countless others. Feels like home, not an institution!

Amazing place!

I lived in this sober house I was.there for 2 years and was able to get a firm grip on my alcoholism. I was able to go to school and get a degree from Northern Essex community college. I highly recommend the Elms. I gave me the time to work on my recovery.Thank God for this program.

Had bloodwork done recently at Frisbie MH lab on the 2nd floor. Rebecca, the person who drew my blood, was outstanding. Quickly found the vein and practically painless. I have had blood drawn by other providers and many times it did not go great, but not this time. Very good experience.

The Maris Center supplied a structured environment with the necessary tools in order for a transformative recovery. It’s been about 8 years of sobriety for me thus far one day at a time. This womens center supports a 12 step program, sponsorship, step work, one on one meetings, and holistic wellness. Since the disease of substance does not discriminate, community living gives us all an opportunity to support each other in ways nothing more than miraculous. The Maris showed me to trust the process and a new way of life. Here I am, eight years later as a homeowner, a 4 year old, and heavily into my bachelors program. The recovery work will never stop. That’s why I keep coming back to the Maris center to check in, say hi, have cookouts, to donate, or for a meeting. Link House inc. is truly one of the best places to heal on the East Coast. Dr.Norris has been extremely helpful with my back and neck pain,...doing manipulations. Also helped me get back on the medication I needed. Very kind and caring.

I had shoulder issues for a few months and just with one session with Dr. Norris my shoulder feel so much better. As well as my neck.

So very thankful for Dr Norris. I have recieved much relief with my migrains and back pain with her manipulation.

Great nurses. New management. Staff is all friendly and goes the extra mile. From Rehab, Nursing, Activities, and Housekeeping!!! All staff knowledgeable and have great communication!!

My grandfather attended rehab at this facility. The rehab staff was amazing and the Director Savanna is wonderful! They always have great communication. He is now there long term. At first I was apprehensive about him going there and reading some reviews. But this building has been amazing! The male nurse on the second floor is very knowledgeable and patient with my grandfather.

Treat my grandmothers with dignity and respect. Nurses are kind and update me on anything going on. CNAs take great care. The build is clean and free from odors.

Fantastic program. Open arms and ears with solutions. Would highly recommend
