Excellent quality service they are who they are. When I had wayside youth and family as a kid I thought the staff at wayside residential were very kind, friendly, intelligent and supportive listener of family. I loved that wayside youth and family gave me in home therapy and in home behavioral services for me and my family I loved that! I loved that my dad mum and brothers always help me out taught me life lessons and hard truths. I loved how I had the support from wayside from a far and they were good at hearing me and my family out but mostly ME they were very good listener and try to help me as much as possible.

The Director, Verona, and the staff were very supportive of my family situation and needs.
Verona always made herself available to address any questions or concerns I had, even after hours.
All encompassing services were available to clients. If you took advantage of these services,
set goals could be met. Wayside also coordinated and participated in all necessary meetings with outside agencies.
I am appreciative of all the support provided by Verona and staff, as well as the effort they expended in encouraging the importance of self achievement.

Then I see Michelle she has been a truly great person, she always ask me if I am ok never mad always smiling. The nurses are Top Knots and unusually helpful and resourceful. The counselors that exist are all fair and kind, but constant short staffing and management issues cause a great place to only get a good rating. This is a for-profit clinic, so the higher up the management chain one goes, the further away an addict in recovery is from recovery. Unfortunately this company owns most of the clinics in the area, so one does not have a choice. This is also not unusual. There is no handicapped accessible entrance. You can go in the back way, around the back of the hospital, but you still have to walk a very good distance to the front door, and once inside it's very small so a person with mobility issues is going to struggle. I don't suggest anyone with mobility issues goes to this Clinic. He Corrections Officers in the back of the hospital, they have an entrance for the prisoners there. There is constant clashing with the handicapped clients and the Corrections Officers because there's no real protocol for handicapped patients. But overall this is a good place. Small, and they don't put up with any of the usual nonsense that goes on.( There are very few drug deals if at all that will go on here!). The security guard is top-notch as well and is very fair but firm. If you are not looking for Recovery, I suggest you go somewhere else because you won't last long here. I've had some personal issues with the take-home protocol as well as the short staffing resulting in treatment plans not being effectively instituted, but again this is management and has nothing to do with the day to day staff.

I was able to get into the original hope house in the south end over 20 years ago through a friend Alex and Brian Tullos who i just recently found out is amazingly still helping people at the hope house to this day. I may not have known it at the time but I realize now that the Hope House and Brian helped lay down the groundwork for me to get off heroin which was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my entire life. Things are far from perfect my health is bad I still need to take care of some things in my life but I am so grateful to not have to die with a needle in my arm today. It's an amazing house with great staff and food the atmosphere is out of this world and that helps SO much with recovery. Not one staff member can I say anything bad about and that is absolutely unheard of!!! Love that program, they really take the time to screen clients before entry and the groups are ran in a personalized way to try and help each individual with the different needs they need to be met. 10 out of 5 stars!!!

Started at Peabody which was amazing. When I got to woburn a couple years ago I would have gave it a lower star but now they run so smoothly. There is almost never a line. Someone is always there to help you. Nurses are amazing and so nice and helpful. Front desk runs quickly and always answers questions and helps with a smile.

The only thing I feel that some rules and who exactly makes final decisions on certain things,so there's no miscommunication for the clients. That would be extremely helpful, especially miscommunication with clients that have take homes basically I feel as though like I said in the beginning of this review maybe things need to be updated and everybody needs to be on the same page because I'm sure certain rules do change from time to time, and of course everybody needs to know what rules have changed whether you have take-homes or not. I would like to say something wonderful about three counselors and that's because I only know them and one of them is mine and the other one I do a group with and the third one I had have interactions with him when he was counselor of the week, the counselor Donna, Kim and Arthur a wonderful wonderful counselors they are fair and if you are doing everything you're supposed to and you're doing the right thing especially in working the program they will go to bat for their clients. Also the nurses are very nice as the front desk as well. I will end with this, this will work for you but only if you are going to use your footwork as well.

I give this place four instead of five stars only because I was only at the inpatient unit for mental health for 6 days. But my stay was really good, fun crafts and lots to do. The good wasn't great but in visits you can have food and you can get an order for outside food as well. One small downside was that it was really hard to get an order for music. I do recommend going here if you can!

Its not the type of place anyone wants to be in but compared to others it was amazing. The staff actually cared, there was access to mental health professionals every day, there were actual group therapies, it was very clean, the food was edible and there were alternatives offered and snacks weren’t held hostage. There was still too much downtime with little to do except watch tv, color, or read, but I felt safe while there and left feeling so much better than when i was admitted.
