I went to Washburn house from December 27-January 7 to their detox program. I was 100 percent going to do their CSS but unfortunately there were not enough beds for women at that time. So I was sent to another CSS. My 12 days at Washburn completely transformed my life. This was my first time ever being in rehab before so I was beyond terrified. When I arrived at Washburn the Staff was amazing to me. They made me as comfortable as possible and let me know I could talk to them whenever I needed to. My caseworker LJ was absolutely amazing. She was so smart, compassionate and just supported me so much. As were all the other case workers. You could tell they really cared about their job and wanted everyone to succeed. The daily meetings at Washburn were great and they were the same as the meetings that I got at the CSS that I transferred to to be honest. And that is saying a lot because detox they know that you are sick and they are just trying to help you get through the day. But I got the best tools and ways to cope at my time at Washburn. The day to day floor staff was also so nice. They always checked in on you and made sure you were ok. When I went to the new CSS not a day went by that I didn t add Washburn to my gratitude list. I honestly believe if I didn t go to Washburn first I wouldn t have gotten the positive and life changing experience that I got. I am 27 days sober and I plan on staying sober for the rest of my life, with a lot of hard work ahead of me. My family and me will forever be grateful to Washburn and If you are ready to do the work then you can get so much out of this program. I mean there are hard to find the words to thank a place that you feel like helped give you your life back!

The Washburne house is hands down the best DETOX/CSS In the State. I ve been to probably all of them and I ve never had a better experience. I went in October 2024 broken, lost my spouse of 20 yrs my business, my truck, and my apartment. I was negative about my future and ready to not even try. When I left I went to the facility I wanted to go, I was positive, and for the first time of many times trying in the past Im really serious and ready to stay sober. I can t say enough or express how much the BHTS CASEWORKER/CLINICIANS MDS/NURSING, and the kitchen and House Kitchen staff have made an impact on my stay. I would and will recommend anyone who wants to get there life together and seriously change the Washburn house is a place that will make you feel welcome and give you all the tools and support to continue and get you where you need to go on your journey to sobriety. On a final note I m going back in 6 months and apply to work part time as a BHT so I can give back the same experience and help to the next person in need also feel the same as the Washburn House made me feel. Thank you aWashburn House for everything Brian S.

I struggled with drug addiction for 20 years. Could never break the cycle where I lived in Alabama 37 yrs of my life. I was out of options. My insurance found Paramount Recovery Centers in Massachusetts. I got ahold of them and they started the process to get me up here. They was a true blessing. Helped pay for my plane tickets and got me up here. I went thru 6 months of PHP program and then outpatient. Everyone from intake coordinators to councilors and all way up to program directors ALL helped me any way they possibly could. And thru this program I found hope again. I couldn t have done it without their help and am forever grateful for Paramount Recovery Centers. I stayed in their men s sober houses for 2 yrs now and am a manager at another one now. I highly recommend Paramount for anyone struggling with alcohol or drug addiction. Even mental health issues too. They are truly a leader in the recovery community here in Massachusetts.

My cousin has struggled with addiction for most of his adult life. He s been to countless rehabs, tried meditation and even hypnosis to get over his issues with substances. It wasn t until he joined Paramount Recovery Centers PHP that he actually began to embrace sobriety as his new norm. You see, what my cousin never had was a sense of community, and that is exactly what Paramount provided. It was clear from the moment I dropped him off with the clinical staff that he was going to be in good hands. Without Paramount my cousin may be in jail or even worse, deceased. We will always remember Paramount as the place that saved his life.

I was angry leaving my initial one star review because I felt lied to and deceived. I was told I d be lucky to make it back to this place meaning that I d be dead and not be able to make it back. I was told I would be dead cause of how horrible and defiant I was. I did not like AA was not for me so I was going to die. Many people that worked here told me. My case worker gossiped about me to a whole group of my peers saying one of you is going down a dark road really? These are the people to trust? These are the people getting me better. Also they said the bill would not need to be paid and I kept getting harassed by AP office I believe in Florida? So I was furious. So my initial review was one star and I left out words because I wrote a nasty review and had to erase them.I wanted to come back and edit my one star review to a five star. Cause here I am, over 5 years later, still going strong as ever in my recovery, and I have a place that is mine, I have a good steady job, and I m free of the chains of addiction. Whether I like it or not, my experience here is what lead me to where I am today. There was some amazing staff that was overworked and under paid so if by some grace of god they are still there, god bless. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say they were trying reverse psychology on me, the staff talking crap about me to other peers, the staff saying I d be dead. But they were not that smart, they genuinely were telling me I was hopeless. I won t name you but I know that you know who you are.Now I sit here over 5 years later thinking that maybe if you did not spend so much time talking down and being hateful and judgmental to me, maybe all my brothers in program with me that are dead now, would still be alive if you paid them that energy. But it is what it is right? I don t equate my success to NEATC, hell no. I put my success on my shoulders. I easily could have taken yall saying I d be dead soon and actually gone and died. But I didn t. I spit in all your faces and I proved all of you wrong. I did it for me. I did it for my brothers who died due to the lack of care they received wether insurance was poor or you just focused more on me being defiant than their complacent obedience to your AA. What works for some does not work for all. It s your hate that drove the fight in me to succeed. I see my brothers in the program with me that never will get to share their smiles with the world, I can share the smile they taught me. I can share their message and I will not let them down. That s why I have 5 stars. This place did exactly what it needed to. Just like life, drove me insane, judged me, hate on me, gave me a place to live full of rats and mice, financial issues to battle, had to face death, had to hear pain like no other, and was not the smoothest ride. But through the pain and darkness of life there is always light, you can be that light. You can change. Amidst all the bad, there was a handful of AMAZING staff and people that gave me a real life experience I will never ever ever forget. Just like life this place is not perfect, we need to take the challenges and push on. I loved this place. And always will. This place did heal me. Not how I wanted but how I needed. Just like real life. I noticed my growth as I wanted to change my one star review. Even after all the trouble, I pushed through and fought and still see the light. I am still a light that will not be dimmed. And this place is a HUGE part of the reason I am who I am today. An amazing light in a dark dark world. This place put a challenge in front of me, life is not easy, you need to put in the work, and when life punches, you need to punch back harder.Thank you NEATC and the amazing staff I can t imagine would still be working here but if you are I love you. Forever I love you, and miss you, and wish you the best. I would love to come speak one day at an event, I don t live close by anymore but I d love to make something so please contact. Anyone wondering if they should come here, yes. Yes you should.

I was lucky enough to have found out about this facility in February of 2025. Words can not even describe how amazing the staff! My first night there was extremely hard for me and Petra was absolutely amazing ! I wanted to leave , I didn't feel good and she was able to calm me down and keep me there. I felt like she truly cared and wanted to help me get thru my time at the facility and she helped me set up outpatient care so that when I left Mayflower I was all set with good resources. My first impression of Mayflower was an amazing. I felt so comfortable with the staff immediately, they made me feel so welcomed and supportive. The staff was unbelievably knowledgeable in addition. I felt safe and well taken care of. My room was first class with my own TV. The food was cooked by a chef and was unbelievable. I was most impressed with the Director of the program. He did a morning group everyday to address any concerns we may have and to impress how he was there to help the clients. Very professional and comfortable at the same time. 10 out of 10. This facility is a life changing facility. This facility helped me restart my life and get back to being healthy again. Mathematic’s lead a few groups while I was there and his words of wisdom have stuck with me ever since. If you or a loved one are struggling with Mental Health or Substance abuse, I highly recommend this place.

The staff there are wonderful people! Although my fiance had to leave much earlier than we both had anticipated, Kerry, Heather, and Nicole all went above and beyond to fight for him to be able to continue his treatment.

Unfortunately I have been here a few times, but they were always welcoming and compassionate about it. They have some really great staff. The food is decent for the most part, there is plenty of it. The groups were good over all. Obviously some were more relative than others. Overall I would recommend NERC to a friend or relative.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about NERC in Westborough!!!! From my admission down at detox with Pam and Danny who really helped me decide to continue care at CSS and I m glad I did! To now 28 days later, I am ever so grateful for the team up there too! Words cannot describe how supported I was, If I had to use one word, I would say the care was priceless! Putting yourself first is something one has to do to get clean. I m so glad I did! Thank you New England recovery center! If it wasn t for you, I don t think I d be where I am now. Most importantly thank you Katie, for being such an amazing coach and cheerleader, do not lose that one because people like her don t come around that often! For Rose for saving my marriage! Laura and Eli for being the all star team clinician and case worker combo ever created!!! Pam holding down the fort! And thank you to Erin the boss lady for employing such an amazing team!! I actually found Clearhaven by accident. I had called another center and when faced with insurance issues, they recommended me to Clearhaven. From the very onset I was met with an incredibly welcoming and empathetic team. I have completed the program with a much better outlook on myself, life, and everything around me. I will specifically mention Maya, my clinician who was a vital role in my treatment and recovery. I highly recommend this program to others struggling with addiction. Mine was alcohol but Clearhaven deals with all sorts of addictions.

When faced with addiction, there was no better place for me to find than Clearhaven. I was in a lot of denial, and at risk of losing everything. The individuals at Clearhaven were able to work with me and my specific issues to target and treat my condition in a judgment-free environment. I was able to keep my job through their nighttime IOP so I could continue to provide for my family. I will be forever grateful for this center. A special shoutout to Mike who made my wife feel at ease during the intake and Maya for my individual therapy.

After visiting this location for many years I just want people to know this is an amazing and wonderful experience I had today. Angel who handles the front end is kind , patient and has a great sense of humor. Omg! What a Gentleman. From there I met with Amy and she spent so much time helping me and accessingmy Pain. I truly needed someone to listen, help and send me in a different direction. A big Thank you to everyone I interacted with today. I hope I remembered and got everyone's name correctly.
