Rebuilding Recovery in Woburn has truly been a lifesaver for me. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt supported and understood. Kayla, who runs the program, has been absolutely amazing—her compassion, knowledge, and dedication are unmatched. She genuinely cares about each person’s journey and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel seen and supported. The entire team at Rebuilding Recovery has been nothing short of fantastic. Every single person I’ve worked with has been kind, professional, and deeply committed to helping people through the most difficult times of their lives. They’ve provided me with not only the tools I need to get through this rough journey, but also the encouragement and hope I had been missing. I can honestly say that this place has made an incredible difference in my life. Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient programs are designed for clients who are medically stable and not at an elevated risk of relapse, including those who have already completed inpatient care. Outpatient programs typically advance clients' established treatment plans, offering continuing addiction counseling and recovery education. Clients who enter outpatient care immediately following detox may also receive medical and mental health assessments and personalized treatment plans. Most outpatient rehabs provide multiple levels of care to align with clients' unique needs.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) facilitate clients' sustained sobriety through high-level care aligned with their evolving needs. Clients engage in multiple treatment sessions per week, typically receiving between nine and 20 hours of outpatient care weekly. The frequency and intensity of treatment gradually decreases as clients stabilize. Many intensive outpatient rehabs offer a variety of services, including addiction counseling, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT). Evidence-based complementary therapies are also common.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

A partial hospitalization program (PHP), also known as day treatment, allows you to receive rehab-level care while living at home. PHP treatment requires a minimum of 20 hours of treatment each week for an average of 90 days. PHP treatment plans can vary depending on your needs but typically includes relapse prevention, medication management, and evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Most insurance providers fully or partially cover PHP treatment.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

A drug intervention in Massachusetts provides friends and family the opportunity to share how a person's substance use has caused problems in their lives. The goal of the intervention is to encourage the person to get the treatment they need. Most rehab facilities offer intervention services that can help families prepare for the intervention and facilitate entry into treatment if the person agrees to get help.

12-step icon12-Step

Recovery models based on 12 step programs feature extensive peer coaching and emphasize personal growth as a key to sustained sobriety. Regular attendance at 12 step meetings, which are anonymous, free, and available daily, is expected. The 12 steps of recovery are based on spiritual principles and support participants in addressing the root causes of their disease, accept responsibility for their choices, and accept that which is beyond their control. Self-selected sponsors provide one-one-mentoring.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Rehab aftercare programs offer customized, wraparound support for clients in the maintenance phase of recovery. Many clients enroll in drug rehab immediately after completing intensive inpatient or residential care. Services encompass outpatient treatment but often extend long beyond the completion of a formal recovery program and typically include a variety of medical, mental health, and social service programs. Peer coaching, relapse prevention, 12 step program induction, and related services are commonly available.

telehealth iconTelehealth

Telehealth in Massachusetts allows patients to receive care in one location from a specialist who is at a separate location. This allows the patient to save time and money on healthcare visits. The added convenience can make treatment more accessible.

Treatments

A person who has alcohol use disorder (alcoholism) builds up a physical tolerance to alcohol. If they try to stop drinking, they experience withdrawal symptoms. Treatment is available for this condition, through alcohol rehab in Massachusetts. Treatment options include AA, detox, counseling, medication, residential programs, and outpatient treatment. Social and family support systems are crucial during and after treatment of any kind.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Addiction is a highly complex problem, and drug rehab in Massachusetts is often necessary to address it. These programs treat physical, mental, and relational issues that are involved. Treatment empowers individuals to manage these issues without the use of drugs.

In Massachusetts, dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs provide specialized care for individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Levels of care include detox, residential drug and alcohol rehab, and outpatient programs. Each program and level of care includes a comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment plan, and evidence-based therapies, like cognitive behavioral therapy, or dialectical behavioral therapy. You'll also attend recovery support groups, receive family counseling, and beneficial skills training to help you promote your mental health and sustain long-term recovery.

In Massachusetts, substance abuse treatment programs can help to address addiction and, if relevant, any co-occurring mental health conditions. Programs include outpatient, inpatient, dual-diagnosis, and partial hospitalization. You'll receive therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, or dialectical behavioral therapy, and sometimes complementary therapies like acupuncture and mindfulness-based therapy. By attending skills training and recovery groups you'll build a strong foundation for your recovery and strengthen your support network, increasing your chances of long-term recovery success.

Mental health services are essential during treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, whether you receive treatment in an inpatient or outpatient setting. While receiving inpatient care, you can expect to have round-the-clock access to mental health therapists and medical staff. Additionally, you will likely receive a number of different therapies and mental health options like individual and group counseling, addiction and relapse prevention education, and coping skills training.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is a safe space for participants to share their stories and experiences within a confidential and judgment free environment. You have the opportunity to openly discuss your difficulties and create a network of community support that can extend long after group therapy sessions end.

Therapists in Massachusetts offer individual therapy in a confidential setting to help you explore the complex factors that have contributed to your drug addiction. Using a tailored approach, your therapist supports you and utilizes evidence based treatment modalities to help you develop healthier thought patterns and behaviors. This builds a foundation for enduring sobriety.

During family therapy, the therapist works with every member of the family unit to understand the role they play in their loved one's addiction. By addressing these patterns, family members learn healthier ways to interact with each other and contribute to a more effective recovery journey for the family member who is addicted.

Trauma therapy addresses the psychological impact of experiencing a traumatic event. You can also experience mental and emotional injury after witnessing a trauma. By identifying what triggers those responses and developing effective coping mechanisms, you can rebuild a sense of safety and trust in your environment.

During cognitive behavioral therapy in Massachusetts, clients work with a trained counselor to identify negative thinking patterns and change them. This change in thinking has been shown to lead to changes in behavior to treat substance use and mental health disorders effectively.

The life skills you'll learn in rehab range from financial management to practicing healthy self care. They help you learn how to solve problems and make decisions, as well as develop healthy interpersonal relationships – all of which are key to successful recovery.

If you are experiencing intense, negative emotions, dialectical behavior therapy can help you learn how to regulate painful emotions and manage the interpersonal situations that generate them. This method is often used during substance use treatment in Massachusetts to help you develop better coping skills and avoid relapse.

During experiential therapy, clients process their emotions and situations from the inside out. This is different than the outside in approach of talk therapies. Experiential methods include art, music, equine therapy, and drama, which allow creative expression and personal interaction.

Four principles are key to motivational interviewing in Massachusetts. First, the therapist offers empathy for the client's feelings and experiences. Second, they encourage the client to believe in themselves and their ability to change. Third, the therapist refrains from imposing their own viewpoints. Lastly, the therapist helps the client identify discrepancies in their circumstances and future goals.

When you receive eating disorder treatment in Massachusetts, your treatment plan will be customized to meet your needs. It will most likely include a combination of medication, nutritional counseling, psychotherapy, and medical care.

If you find it difficult to put thoughts and feelings into words, creative arts therapy in Massachusetts might be a good treatment method for you. Through art, music, and other expressive activities, this therapy allows you to explore and convey thoughts and emotions in a safe, creative space.

Recreational therapy helps you as you recover from drug and alcohol addiction in Massachusetts by giving you structured activities to improve your physical and mental health. By participating in sports, creative arts, or nature activities, you have a positive outlet for emotions and stress that may have otherwise triggered alcohol or drug use. This helps to foster a healthy sober lifestyle.

Rational behavior therapy is a form of cognitive behavior therapy that is more structured and goal oriented to address irrational beliefs and thinking patterns. Using cognitive restructuring and emotional regulation techniques, you learn the tools you need to maintain long term sobriety.

Fitness therapy in Massachusetts helps you create a balanced lifestyle by improving your physical and mental health and emotional stability. You develop a positive outlet to deal with stress and anxiety, which helps prevent relapse and maintain long term sobriety.

The clinicians and staff at Woburn Wellness are excellent; they are truly committed to helping their clients achieve, manage and thrive, whether they are receiving treatment for mental health or addiction recovery. They are extremely knowledgeable and proactive in helping clients navigate PFML, finding external support resources, and more. Group therapy sessions are supportive, informative and challenging in the best ways—the clinicians are invested in helping their clients identify, understand and work through their trauma, symptoms, and triggers to gain positive coping skills/behaviors. Their priority is empowering clients to better support their own personal success once they move on from treatment. Lunch is provided daily, as well as a generous offering of snacks and beverages. Art therapy is provided on the weekend as an extra opportunity for support in a gentle, stress free environment with yoga, reiki, and community building events offsite.

Response from the owner
Thank you for your wonderful review, Jaryn! We're thrilled to learn about your positive experience with our team and services, and if there's anything we can do to improve, please don't hesitate to let us know.

I reached out to this center for information while researching PHP programs for my mental health treatment. After deciding to go with a different provider, I respectfully informed them that I had chosen another program and was no longer interested. Despite this, I’ve continued to receive persistent and unwanted calls from this center — often from rotating phone numbers — on a near daily basis. This behavior feels incredibly invasive and predatory, especially considering the vulnerable state people are often in when seeking mental health care. While other centers respected my decision and left me alone, this one has crossed boundaries repeatedly. If you're looking for care that honors your autonomy and respects your choices, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The signs are clear that this place is just simply desperate for money.

Response from the owner
We are sorry to hear about your experience, Savannah. Please send an email to melanie@rppldigital.com so we can resolve this matter - your feedback is important, and we will address this issue to prevent it from happening again.

Woburn Wellness is the best! I love the staff. They are all so kind and supportive. They put a lot of effort into each group making sure that everyone is engaged and benefitting from the material. Clients are treated in a group setting as well as individually and each client gets a treatment plan that prioritizes their needs. The staff is very knowledgeable and is able to help apply for leave of absence, financial assistance, jobs, housing, etc. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need.

This place has taken care of me at the lowest point of my life. Before getting acquainted with the staff here and at the sober house I was living out of crack dens and selling myself to afford a habit. Being around these people and taken care of by Luis, Jeff, and Jasmine, I’m finally able to say I have a roof over my head and I eat 3 meals a day. Doing the work is, well, a lot of work. But give yourself the chance to get to know yourself better and spend time here before you decide to hop out again. I know my running days are over

Response from the owner
Thank you wo much for this wonderful review and for sharing your inspiring journey with us. We are honored to have been part of your transformation, and we're so proud of your progress. Your dedication is incredible! Wishing you all the best on your continued recovery path.
