Had a six day visit on the 4th floor. The groups were productive and helpful. The mental health support team was very thuro. I wasn't a fan of the food or lack of cleanliness in group bathrooms. The nursing assistants were hit or miss based on engagement and cell phone usage. The facility should put a policy in place removing cell phones from the floor. If our disabled veterans can't use their own phones, why should we / they constantly see the floors "care team" on theirs.

Everyone will have a different experience, based upon their care team. Physically the Brockton VA is extremely easy to reach, right off Rt 24. Traffic light right at the entrance so you don't need to fight or race other drivers. Loads of parking at any major care building, to include one handicapped lot adjacent to building 3 [main care facility].

I finally registered for VA Healthcare and with some doubt, made an appointment for a physical. I was completely surprised and impressed with the whole experience. The staff was knowledable, friendly and showed concern. They were all articulate and spent considerable time with me. The facility was clean and modern. I had a follow up with the Pharmacist to go over my meds and same thing, she was wonderful. I am now using the VA for my primary care. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

I’ve been here for 15 plus years and my counselor Paul goes above and beyond for his patients. Most of the staff has been here for years and they’re great. If you follow the rules and keep your head down, mind your buisness you’ll have no issues with this place… some people have complaints but those are usually the people who do whatever they want and tend to forget how lucky we are to have this place. Coordinating care with this team of compassionate professionals always warms your heart. Callers are always greeted by a warm and welcoming team at their front desk. The nurse's speedy response time is always appreciated and the clinical team always willing to go that extra mile to help the individuals they serve. Would highly recommend and refer to this treatment center. Thanks for all you do Brockton CTC!

Staff was great except 1 wont give people that dont miss a group and do what they have to do there out dates after being there almost 30 days but will give the guys that dont do anything i mean nothing there out date after 14 days and lets them leave in 21 to 25 days he should treat everyone the same. Other than that all the staff was great for my 35 days there some go above and beyond when they dont have to the food absolutely sucks for the amount of money our insurance pays for us to be there the food should be way better. The nurses on unit 2 are more than great courtney Amanda shawna meghan to name a few amd the rest of them treated me with the up most respect give them a raise. The groups could be a little better seemed like we were learning the same stuff over and over each day. But other than that if i was to ever have a relapse again i would definitely go back there....i give 4.5 stars out of 5..

Adult & Teen Challenge in Manchester saved my life and marriage. After 3 failed rehabs at other facilities with advice from my wife and Pastor I agreed to go to ATC. The difference between the other rehabs and ATC is Jesus Christ! If you are tired of battling addiction and are willing to fight for your freedom, the director Hector, staff, and the residents are there to help you with the guidance of Jesus and the Bible. ATC is a long term treatment center with outstanding results. I highly recommend this place! They are there to help you succeed.

Been sectioned here 4 times. Love the staff and nurses -- especially considering I never want to be here when I'm there -- see below. I was angry leaving my initial one star review because I felt lied to and deceived. I was told I’d be lucky to make it back to this place… meaning that I’d be dead and not be able to make it back. I was told I would be dead cause of how “horrible and defiant” I was. I did not like AA was not for me so I was going to die. Many people that worked here told me. My case worker gossiped about me to a whole group of my peers saying “one of you is going down a dark road” really? These are the people to trust? These are the people “getting me better.” Also they said the bill would not need to be paid and I kept getting harassed by AP office I believe in Florida? So I was furious. So my initial review was one star and I left out words because I wrote a nasty review and had to erase them. I wanted to come back and edit my one star review to a five star. Cause here I am, over 5 years later, still going strong as ever in my recovery, and I have a place that is mine, I have a good steady job, and I’m free of the chains of addiction. Whether I like it or not, my experience here is what lead me to where I am today. There was some amazing staff that was overworked and under paid so if by some grace of god they are still there, god bless. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say they were trying reverse psychology on me, the staff talking crap about me to other peers, the staff saying I’d be dead. But they were not that smart, they genuinely were telling me I was hopeless. I won’t name you but I know that you know who you are. Now I sit here over 5 years later thinking that maybe if you did not spend so much time talking down and being hateful and judgmental to me, maybe all my brothers in program with me that are dead now, would still be alive if you paid them that energy. But it is what it is right? I don’t equate my success to NEATC, hell no. I put my success on my shoulders. I easily could have taken yall saying I’d be dead soon and actually gone and died. But I didn’t. I spit in all your faces and I proved all of you wrong. I did it for me. I did it for my brothers who died due to the lack of care they received wether insurance was poor or you just focused more on me being defiant than their complacent obedience to your AA. What works for some does not work for all. It’s your hate that drove the fight in me to succeed. I see my brothers in the program with me that never will get to share their smiles with the world, I can share the smile they taught me. I can share their message and I will not let them down. That’s why I have 5 stars. This place did exactly what it needed to. Just like life, drove me insane, judged me, hate on me, gave me a place to live full of rats and mice, financial issues to battle, had to face death, had to hear pain like no other, and was not the smoothest ride. But through the pain and darkness of life there is always light, you can be that light. You can change. Amidst all the bad, there was a handful of AMAZING staff and people that gave me a real life experience I will never ever ever forget. Just like life this place is not perfect, we need to take the challenges and push on. I loved this place. And always will. This place did heal me. Not how I wanted but how I needed. Just like real life. I noticed my growth as I wanted to change my one star review. Even after all the trouble, I pushed through and fought and still see the light. I am still a light that will not be dimmed. And this place is a HUGE part of the reason I am who I am today. An amazing light in a dark dark world. This place put a challenge in front of me, life is not easy, you need to put in the work, and when life punches, you need to punch back harder. Thank you NEATC and the amazing staff I can’t imagine would still be working here but if you are I love you. Forever I love you, and miss you, and wish you the best. I would love to come speak one day at an event, I don’t live close by anymore but I’d love to make something so please contact. Anyone wondering if they should come here, yes. Yes you should.

Located in Braintree, Massachusetts, Rockland Recovery is an addiction treatment center for men and women. The services available to you include drug and alcohol detox, the intensive outpatient program and gender responsive care. The staff is experienced in treating addictions to various substances such as heroin, prescription drugs and methadone.
Rockland has been an immeasurable help for me. I've had experience in other places in the past but nothing like the Rockland community. The staff here has such a wealth of knowledge, experience and variety of approaches that I've never seen anywhere else. The work you do here is tough but the people genuinely care. They see your time and effort as valuable. They will put you on the right path you probably have never seen before and guide you to be the best version of you. I can't speak highly enough of Rockland and everyone who works there. So many thanks and I look forward to staying involved in the community I've developed here.

I highly recommend Rockland Recovery for anyone looking to learn about recovery and the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book. It goes in depth teaching the steps involved to beat addiction and the staff really does care about you. You are actually a human being and not a number. All of the staff is exceptional and are extremely passionate about their excellent program here! Shawn is an awesome teacher here at Rockland Recovery! His approach to teaching about addiction and recovery is always well received by the community as they can relate to his experiences. His easy going and laid back attitude makes it very easy for the community to speak the truth about their own struggles with addiction and feel okay about it. He brings the community together to make it a group therapy and you can feel the energy in the room! Please keep on doing what you are doing! Rockland Recovery is a solid 5 Star Program!

Monte Nido – Laurel Hill is a serene and homey residential care center that focuses on treating women with eating disorders. You can find them in Medford, Massachusetts, just north of Boston. Although their main focus is on healing disordered eating patterns, they also provide support for co-occurring conditions, including substance use disorder,
A truly amazing place staffed with kind, caring, wonderful, professional, fun, generous, thoughtful, and highly-skilled staff (I could go on) who are experts in ED recovery. My therapist at Laurel Hill is by far the best therapist I have ever had — I learned so much from her and am still in awe of how she challenged me and ED narratives. The clinical director treats clients like family and invests her time and energy into each and every one of us — she spent her Christmas holiday with clients baking cookies, enjoying holiday kareoke, and other festivities that she planned for us… it was a special holiday, filled with so much love and support. The nursing staff are SO cool and kind. The RCs are absolutely the best.. I don’t know how they do such a specialized and demanding job and do it SO well, all while getting to become so close with the clients. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone struggling with an eating disorder. I had lost hope when I entered treatment, and now I look forward to the day when I can say I am fully recovered, because thanks to the LH team, I know that day will come.
