About New Lyfe Solutions

New Lyfe Solutions is a transitional living facility for men and women in the early stage of recovery from substance use in Las Vegas, Nevada. Early recovery here entails that you have completed high-intensity treatment and need additional support to rejoin the community. If your condition requires more intensive care or detox, they’ll refer you to providers within their network of treatment partners. They also serve people with co-occurring mental health issues.

Structure and Accountability in Recovery

The facility boasts a clean, upscale and semi-structured sober living environment fully equipped to keep you comfy while you navigate recovery. The environment is serene and safe.

What’s especially striking is that they’re also affordable at just $185 weekly. The program has strict requirements that you must adhere to while living onsite. You must contract for random drug or alcohol testing, minimum meeting attendance and midweek and weekend curfews. You must also maintain clean and proactive living habits and a commitment to honesty, integrity and sobriety.

Recovery in an Upscale Las Vegas Neighborhood

The facility is situated a few miles east of the iconic Las Vegas Strip. This convenient access to city amenities while being a bit removed from the bustle of the central tourist areas. The area is primarily residential with a mix of suburban and urban characteristics. What’s particularly impressive about this location is that it has a vibrant 12-step recovery community. These communities hold a year-round calendar of sober events that benefit members.

Supporting Your Path to Lasting Recovery

What I think sets New Lyfe Solutions apart is their genuine dedication to your lasting sobriety. This is not an everyday halfway house where you can crash into fresh out of rehab. This facility is well-managed and folks genuinely care about your wellbeing. They strive to blend transitional housing with intensive outpatient care or lower-level general outpatient. This approach offers the best chances of recovery.

So, while you enjoy the cozy and well-furnished home, you’ll also receive outpatient therapy to help you build resilience in recovery. This is delivered through their network of treatment providers. They’ll also link you to 12-step meetings, life and recovery coaching services, and skills planning. This ensures you have continuous guidance and support as you transition into independent living.

I recently moved from Arizona and before I came into this house I moved to another sober living (not this one) and that house did not work out for me so I luckily found this one. The reason I say that because unlike other houses, here at New lyfe solutions the house manager works here at the house meaning he's actively involved helping you in your recovery and making you self sufficient. He will guide you to your meetings show you were they are and not only that. Push recovery upon you. If any parents or family members is reading this review wondering if this house is right for their loved ones. I can say that they won't be just on vacation here Carlos pushes recovery onto the men here. Not because he has to but he truly wishes the best for everyone here at the home. If ur anything like me and need real structure to have the best shot too regaining your life back. And start living not surviving. Come give it a shot! Nothing but great things here. Oh yeah Carlos the house manager helps out with grocery runs weekly which goes long way so you don't carry heavy water, soda, fruit, watermelon, etc back on your own. Great location too meeting down the street, fast foods, haircuts, smoke shops grocery stores. Bus stops. Won't regret this house one bit. Thanks for New Lyfe Solutions running a solid house and program. shout out to Carlos for helping me out as well.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

Clients receiving services in a rehab aftercare program are typically in the maintenance phase of their recovery, having already completed intensive inpatient treatment. These clients are generally strongly engaged in addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Case managers and care teams work with clients to identify and access the medical, mental health, and social service programs they need to promote long-term sobriety. Rehab aftercare services often include peer coaching, relapse prevention, and 12 step program induction.

Clients receiving addiction treatment in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) typically have completed inpatient rehab or have chosen to forgo hospitalization following detox. The high-level care provided by intensive outpatient rehabs is particularly suited to clients in early recovery, those in crisis, and those at an elevated relapse risk. Clients engage in nine to 20 hours of treatment per week on average. Common services include psychotherapy, recovery education, holistic therapies, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

When you enter drug rehab in Nevada, you receive professional assistance to remove drugs from your body and cease your body's need for the substance. You learn coping strategies and receive support to prevent relapse and enjoy long-term sobriety.

In Nevada, dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs provide integrated care for individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Outpatient and inpatient programs generally include individual and group therapy, recovery support groups, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and skills workshops to treat both disorders successfully. Dual-diagnosis treatment can improve long-term recovery success and improve mental health, making your life and sobriety more manageable.

When a person is unable to control their drinking despite negative effects in their life, they are experiencing alcoholism (alcohol use disorder). Recovering from alcohol addiction typically requires professional intervention such as alcohol rehab in Nevada. This may occur in a residential program, intensive outpatient program, partial hospitalization program, or support groups. Recovery typically begins with detox and continues long after rehab with ongoing supports.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Individual therapy provides you with a confidential setting to explore the complex factors that contribute to drug and alcohol addiction. Your therapist can provide tailored support and help you develop healthy coping strategies, improve self control, and build a foundation for sustainable sobriety.

During family therapy sessions, your therapist facilitates discussions that help members of the family unit understand addiction and how it affects the entire family, providing you with coping strategies that help to strengthen the family unit.

Trauma therapy uses trauma focused care to help you understand and manage your emotional and physical responses. Using therapeutic interventions, you learn to reframe the experience. This helps to reduce your anxiety and build your resilience to face future challenges and gain control over your life.

Substance abuse counselors may apply cognitive behavioral therapy in Nevada during individual, family, or group sessions. Using a goal oriented approach, the therapist will help participants change negative thinking and behavioral patterns to address substance use and related challenges.

Participating in experiential therapy allows you to directly experience your emotions. You'll focus on the experience, such as animal care, music, drama, or art, to identify emotions and how they affect your behavior. With these insights, you can develop proactive methods to cope with challenges in the future.

During rehab treatment in Nevada, it may be difficult to put your emotions and thoughts into words. Creative arts therapy provides an alternative form of expression that allows you to communicate your struggles and process your emotions.

Using recreational therapy in a holistic addiction treatment program allows you to find joy and purpose within healthy activities. You might engage in group games, arts and crafts, and fitness programs that promote relaxation and physical health. These are essential for long term recovery.

During drug and alcohol addiction treatment, rational behavior therapy can help you identify and address the irrational thoughts that can drive substance abuse and addiction. Using self help techniques and homework assignments, you learn healthier thinking patterns and develop more effective coping strategies to reduce the risk of relapse.
