About Victory Outreach – Men’s Home
Victory Outreach Men’s Home is more than just a sober home. It’s a place where lives are rebuilt from addiction, hope is restored, and lasting change is cultivated. Located in the heart of suburban Riverside, California, Victory Outreach is a faith-based addiction recovery home that offers a structured and supportive environment.
The men located at the Victory Outreach Men’s Home are seeking freedom from addiction through Jesus Christ. The men in the home all work together to provide community support through Christian principles to transform their lives away from substance use.
Both single and married men are allowed to stay at this sober living home. However, a stay of 9-12 months is required to participate in the program. The only clients who aren’t allowed to stay at the Victory Outreach Men’s Home are those with prior sex offenses or arson convictions.
A Community Built on Brotherhood
The Victory Outreach Men’s Home fosters camaraderie and mutual support among all men who live there. This is done through working and living together, so deep bonds are created over the shared goal of sobriety. That means that all men in the Victory Outreach Men’s Home network together to help provide encouragement and accountability among the residents.
That’s not the only way the Victory Outreach Men’s Home provides sobriety support. There is also a program offered by Victory Outreach Men’s Home that allows the guys to contribute to local communities. The program changes up how the public service is completed, but men will have the chance to help those in need or share their unique testimony.
Structured and Transformative Program
Victory Outreach Men’s Home heavily focuses on stability and routine, especially for the newer members of the home. All residents of Victory Outreach Men’s Home are required to participate in vocational training to help set themselves up for success when they’re ready to reintegrate into society. Residents are required to participate in life skills workshops and regular counseling.

Other Forms of Payment
Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.
Addiction Treatments
Treatments
The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.
Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.
A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.
Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.
