Our Methodology
Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.
Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.
Outpatient Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

This place is a nightmare. I'm only giving it one star because I have to I went in got intake and I just got out of work (I'm a truck driver) the desk girl (I think her name was crtsyal) kept saying I was dirty and I said I didn't have time to wash then some lady named Trisha came and called me stinky feet pete I'm not sure why because my name is Xander. I waited and didn't say anything then the intake lady came and told me I need to wash my stinky feet but I had worked hard all day. They told me I'm too dirty to be seen and that my feet are so bad they got this boss named Dave to come out and he literally gagged and told me "get out of here you smell like my grandmas toilet" everyone pointed and laughed at me calling me stinky feet pete. So much for mens mental health month.
I'm giving it two because my therapist is amazing and very understanding and kind so was my therapist before that from here as well the issue lies in the head staff, the Boss and co boss are the least understanding people ever. They told me I couldn’t see my therapist or prp on telehealth anymore they knew I had zero means of transportation and demanded thats the only way I get my services PRP is messed up as well im disabled and my worker wanted me to walk in the hot summer all the way to the library which is a bit of a walk from by house, but let them drive other people and have home visits. The staff besides the therapists are an absolute joke. They have no idea how to handle actual mentally ill people, all the staff talks all about the clients to the other staff the co boss knew all my business and she’s not my therapist. If there were different people in charge it would be different they also LOVE to call the cops when anyone is showing any sign of anger. Again my therapist is wonderful this place is a joke besides them.

This place is a joke. The intake woman said I can keep my prp from another agency since I had her for so long but I get in there and instantly lost my worker. My therapist says she is checking on things but never does. Save yourself alot of stress of you find somewhere else. I'm reading reviews from now on. They cancel appointments but as soon as you do or can't get the video call to work, they send a letter of attendance. This place has no idea what is going on.
Have been going to Villa Maria for 5yrs. An I think the staff are caring an understanding. Even though I got a new psychiatrist an therapist. Because one retired and the other had a new job. The current Doctors I have now are great. I feel safe respected, very comfortable and I felt secure opening up to my new talk therapist.. So if you need a good mental health Dr. I recommend tem.
Manager and the woman that did my triage accused me of saying I was going to slice someone face, and then proceeded to threaten me. I did have a witness with me who also said that I never said such a thing and have been in contact with their corporate office. I would never recommend anyone goes there for meds. I was not told they do not prescribe benzo’s and was also not told my doctor would not be in office but rather on a zoom call. Manager needs fired if she’s comfortable treating patients with mental illness in the way she did. I went in begging for help and this is what happened, now I’m lost with no one to help me with my metal struggles.
For the past 10 years i was a patient here, passed from doctor to doctor, medication swap after medication swap, most causing more problems then they fixed. They do not know how to treat mental health, outside of a few good ones that always end up leaving , nor is the staff trained to handle someone in a complete mental melt down, Sad when the last thing/person that made you want to kill yourself was the people supposed to help you. Thank God i have a great support team at home. And yes i have been in contact with law firms seeing what actions i can take agaisnt this place, these people should have their titles and license to treat people striped by the state and medical board.
They have no clue what is going on with their scheduling, they scheduled me with the doctor at the same time I was with my therapist and then they mixed up times on another appointment and they discharged me with a letter saying I signed a service agreement, I never signed anything. Would not recommend to anyone
