I have been to several clinics and ARS is by far the best clinic I have ever been to. The entire counseling staff is amazing and really cares about each and every patient. The Director, Sharonda, is very personable and is truly a caring person who really goes the extra mile to help you. The nurses are the best I have ever seen and really show their compassion and caring personalities. Its a shame the SAME 2 PATIENTS keep posting negative reviews, because this place truly is a God send and has saved may lives.

It’s unfortunate that the clinic has unhappy patients who write bad reviews because they don’t get their way. The clinic saved my life. The nurses are caring and the new director is extremely nice and always makes herself available for patients. Like most clinics the counselors come and go but there are several that have been there for awhile and are great. My counselor Ann is amazing! No the clinic is not perfect but they care and try. If you’re serious about your recovery ARS is a great place.

I love the Winchester office! it is so spacious and very clean! The Winchester office is so convenient, right off of RT 7/ I81!! Walking distance from downtown. The staff is absolutely wonderful! Edgehill saved my life. The staff here care. They teach boundaries, accountability, and will show up for you. Getting clean is what you make of it. If you do the work, you’ll see results and the staff will help you every step of the way. If you fall and reach out for help, they will be there to pick you up. I’ll have a decade clean this year and I could never ever ever have done it without the support of the community here. This treatment center is a 12 step model, which has worked for me. They set you up for success with an outpatient program as well as referrals to sober living. We did chores, which helps in taking positive actions, accountability, and gaining self esteem. The groups every day are helpful, educational, and varied so as not to be boring. The AA and NA community hold meetings in their larger meeting room daily so you can’t help but get plugged in to the community. And if you are just having a bad day and no longer at the center you can pop in and there is always someone to talk to. The staff are still apart of my life today, this place is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Had an amazing experience at Edgehill. It took me forever to get into the swing of following the routine. I finally started to get the most out of the program once I took the time to get rid of the anxiety of being somewhere far from home. I appreciate the time they took with me and not just feeling I was a lost cause. The serenity prayer was the thing that stuck with me the most. Shae is an awesome guy who keeps it straight up with you. No sugarcoating what he dealt with and how he became who he is. Joe was the kind of guy you look up to and would never expect to meet there. If you meet Blue in the kitchen youre in for a great meal. The different programs each day was a cool change up from going to so many AA meetings. I learned to open up and share my experience and stories after listening to everyone else. I'm grateful for all the staff there and all the people who made it possible for me to be there. If you have to go to a rehab this is a great place to be.

I guest dosed here for 3 day's straight because me and my bf had to go to WV from NC for his aunt's funeral unfortunately. We had absolutely no problem's at all, they were all polite each day and honestly, the dosing nurse's were nicer AND faster then the one's at our clinic we go to everyday here in NC!

I have never felt more comfortable in a place. John and lisa have been my counselor and they are both phenomenal!! I had relapsed and they never gave up on me and called me bc they truly cared about my well being. And when I reached my rock bottom I had called them and they were able to help me get into a rehab that was suited for me. After 26 days in rehab I had returned to Austin addiction for IOP with lisa.and I have learned more about myself and have found my true identity.

If you have an addiction problem with drugs or alcohol or mental illness these people can really help you if it's something you truly want they have a lot to offer the people that work there are very caring and considerate if you take the time and do the work they can help you lead a happy healthy life my girlfriend and I both attended their intensive outpatient program. And from the people in the office to the counselors to the administration that runs the facility they are all very nice. I have recommended this facility to several of my friends and family don't let addiction or alcoholism a mental illness ruin your life have fiath and trust in these people and they can help you . Don't fight your battle alone . Now that I've been going to this particular location for going on 6 years... (Will be 6 years this November 2O25)... I've had time to process a whole lot. The counselors are very caring. They're really helpful and kind. They want to see you do well. The nurses are super friendly. So are the doctors. As far as wait times, well, TBH, that all depends on what time you get there during the morning. Like me for example. I go daily now and I try to go before 6am, if I get there before 6am, and I don't have a UA, I'm usually in and out in about 5-10 minutes. In my opinion, this is one of the better clinics in the Hagerstown area. They all want to see you do good and stay clean and sober for the rest of your life. Not saying you'll have to be here that long, but, just enough to get stable to where you feel safe and comfortable with yourself. I also wanted to say that I've had about 4 or 5 counselors since I've been going there and IDK why the counselors keep leaving or getting let go. The one I have now, she seems pretty nice. Also, FYI: As of June 1st 2024, their hours will be changing. The cutoff time for dosing will now be 12 Noon, instead of 1pm. I think it's because of the lack of counselors and nursing staff. It would normally be a 5/5, but things have REALLY changed. Physicals every 3 months, I don't understand why...and they have a HUGE turnover of nurses and counselors. I'm telling y'all what, if Mary goes, idk how much longer everyone will stay. Mary is the best!

I do not even know where to begin! The facility the employees the counselors are all amazing! Deanna & Susan helped me in so many ways, I’ll never be able to thank them enough!! Anytime anyone asks for help with anything as such, I will always refer to them. I did two rounds there, the first time was forced and I just was not ready, but this last time I really didn’t have a choice as I was diagnosed with cirrhosis - end stage 4 liver disease bc of alcoholism; it was literally life or death. I chose to go back bc I wanted to live, as I sit here typing this, today is my 2 year soberversary or 731 days!! I owe part of my recovery to them and will forever be grateful to have had such an outlet ina time where I didn’t know what was next! Everyone has their own opinion about different facilities and how they may or may not have helped them personally… but when making your decision in who to go to for treatment, remember all I said and I can guarantee you’ll be another success story from ADAC!!

I came to Austin Addictions in 2017 for the first time. I was very happy with the intake assessment and the professional staff, both in 2017 and current 2023. Over the years I worked closely with Paige Austin. She’s a one in a million type of person she helped me in ways no one else has my whole 34 years on this earth. Paige helped me realize that as long as I am striving and working to be a better me that’s all that matters and not to be concerned with others opinions on me. My favorite quote she always said to me was , “A flower doesn’t go around saying it’s a flower.” Austin’s Addiction is where I finally got the strength to get my addictions under control and where I just so happened to meet my significant other. Counselors annd staff are caring and held me accountable. Was able to be open in the group setting. They won’t let you give up on you which in turn means they will do whatever to help you out!

I have never felt more comfortable in a place. John and lisa have been my counselor and they are both phenomenal!! I had relapsed and they never gave up on me and called me bc they truly cared about my well being. And when I reached my rock bottom I had called them and they were able to help me get into a rehab that was suited for me. After 26 days in rehab I had returned to Austin addiction for IOP with lisa.and I have learned more about myself and have found my true identity.

Lisa is my counselor she's the best, has taught me a lot especially about boundaries!!! The other counselors are great as well! This place has helped me stay sober and grounded. It's a place I can come to and be safe, it's my safe Haven. I've been going to adac for 7 years I've never been disappointed. Everything was fine with the dentist that’s a woman she was wonderful with my daughter and my daughter loved her. The 2 stars was the last appointment the male dentist the old guy a complete jerk to my daughter. He didn’t even tell her he was numbing her with the needle and kept getting really frustrated with her. Mind you she’s so scared of needles and dentists as is. He really didn’t make it better at all. He was getting mad at her because she was scared and jumped. Him and his nurse didn’t even acknowledge us when they came in kept speak to each other and barely spoke to us the entire time. If it wasn’t needed I would have left. He shouldn’t even be able to work with anyone let alone kids him or his nurse.
Edit: they’ve done so much better since last time.
