This is the best IOP in the area. As a professional working with the courts, they have been my go to when i have questions about substance use treatment and referrals. Even if they are not the best fit for my clients, they connect me with the appropriate service provider.

I had quite the journey trying to find the right therapist for me but everything changed when I met Siria. She’s made going to therapy something I enjoy. Worth every penny. Can’t recommend this practice and Ms. Minaya enough.

I’ve been at Insight for five years and have been able to grow professionally and as a clinician. I stay at Insight because I love it here. I have the freedom to set my own schedule and am encouraged to be as creative as possible. As therapists we’re often working with difficult situations. Even so, there is an atmosphere of joy and laughter in the office – one that our clients feel as well. When my close family members have asked me where they should go for therapy, I’ve referred them to Insight Into Action Therapy.

Came to the site to do a tour of the facility. Met the clinical director for the tour, would have given 5 stars but the front desk area was very messy and had a strange odor. This should be addressed soon since it is the first thing you see as you enter.

Embark provides top-notch, exquisite service beginning at receptionist, the enrollee director, and entire staff. This is a greatClinic. Very clean, neat and orderly. The staff is very hospitable and welcomes you with open arms. They’re easy to talk to and very friendly and make you feel like you’re talking to one of your closest friend(s) that you can share anything with. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that has Teenagers that’s going through any kind of mental issues and need someone to talk to. If there were some kind of way to give them a 10 star rating I would.

Truly changed my life.

Going to CFD McLean for ARFID treatment saved my life. When I entered the facility, I was a shell of myself and had zero 'safe' foods; with the support of all the staff, this number quickly grew to 50+. Specifically for ARFID, this facility is equipped and incredibly knowledgeable + understand the severity of this ED. They are also incredibly knowledgeable of Celiac disease and food allergies + sensitivities. The staff goes above and beyond to make the environment safe during meals, exposures, in the communal area and kitchen, group sessions, individual therapy, nutrionally, etc - anywhere where there is a potential trigger for ARFID. Exposures to 'new' foods are done safely and with support from the staff. I will call out that Specifically, Scott is phenomenal at supporting and guiding patients through food exposures. Anna (dietician) does everything in her power and more to assure that the care plan is tailored to needs and is balanced. She is also a master at collaborating with other care team members to make sure that patients are well supported. Kathy as a therapist truly understands ARFID and tailors all therapy to make sure that a patient is going to be able to meet goals and is supported through all the moments: highs, lows, amd everything in between. I need to credit Scott, a tech, for singlehandedly saving me. His care, willingness to support through all the moments, guidance, and consistent support is why I was able to get back on my feet - he is truly 1 in a million and CFD is the luckiest to have such a kind, passionate, and caring staff member on their team. Every single staff member at CFD cares and patients can literally feel it through their advocacy, support, guidance, and everything in between. Amanda, Kayla, Jennifer, Liz, Emily K, Emily R, Ona, Dr.Irving were also instrumental in getting me back on my feet. Highly recommend CFD McLean to anyone seeking residential ED treatment!

Center for Discovery has done everything under the sun for me. I was there for 8 weeks before being stepped to a psychiatric unit. The 8 weeks i spent there were rough for me, but the team did everything in their power to help me. As I neared the point of having to leave the facility, everyone truly did everything in their power to allow me to stay. Even though I do have to leave for the time being, I really do hope to return once I am able to. Amanda, Emily R, and Liz were all amazing and are some of the best people out there. CFD saved my life I have battled an Ed for 2 years now and since coming here and just leaving my life has been turned upside down for the better. I have learned so much here than I have in any other treatment. CFD helped me fix my body image issues and helped my exercise addiction and I was able to find other activities to enjoy besides those. All the staff here are absolutely amazing and so kind. I love you Sebastian, Lydia, nurse ester, and Sarah. I had a therapist switch in the middle of treatment but my new therapist was still able to provide an amazing experience at CFD and helped me so much. CFD is great and the treatment is very personalized with your own personal meal plan and after a while you can prep your own meals and go on walks. My favorite thing was going out and going on exposures to help me. All my peers were amazing and always so helpful. The staff is so kind and respectful. You can also go on walks once you reach medical stability. Highly recommend CFD.

Center for discovery really saved my life! when I was admitted to cfd I was scared, but all the staff were so welcoming and very helpful with answering any questions I had. Most of the staff were extremely kind and so understanding. Nurse Esther was the best nurse ive ever had an all of my treatment. (im not sure if she's there anymore because its been almost a year since I left). im writing thes review to say thank you all so much for everything you did to help me in my recovery!

I came in to the emergency room for a bad migraine and dizziness and I was pretty nervous, but the er staff all around was very attentive and kind. I was called within 15 minutes of checking in and I was out after about 3 hours! I can't remember everyone's name but a special thank you and shoutout to nurses Franklin and Jasmine for being so kind and caring during my visit.

My family member received excellent care while at Suburban Hospital. All the staff from the person who greeted us at the ER , doctors, nurses, patient care technicians, Laboratory, Radiology, Respiratory care ,Physical and Occupational therapies, transportation, cleaning and food staff were very professional and provided expert care and services. The food was excellent. Thank you!

From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. Everyone in the emergency room is very friendly, and so is the hospital. From the security guards, receptionists, cleaning ladies, nurses, doctors, and all the healthcare staff who cared for my mother, Maria Zavala, they were the most professional and provided the best care to her and me. I am very grateful for their hospitality, service, and patience. If I could, I would give them more stars. I received treatment at SGBH last year, and I am glad I was able to get help. Everyone was respectable, and many were friendly. If anyone is having a mental health crisis, they should be glad SGBH is around to help them.

I have been coming here off and on since 2002. I was last here about a year or two ago. In the unit I was in, you can have an hour of electronics. They have pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, etc. After the first 24 hours of being on the unit, you can go to the cafeteria. One psychiatrist that I had only prescribed an anti-anxiety medication instead of trying a different treatment. One nurse wouldn't let me go for breakfast if I didn't shower first. That was the only downside of my experience, but we were able to go outside as long as there was enough staff. I like showering at night in order to "wind down. " If you are there for more than a few days, I recommend you bring a warm blanket and your own pillow from home. They lock the rooms during the day so it will not be stolen at least not that I have ever experienced. The only thing I really dislike is that they push you to attend their religious group. I am Jewish and don't hold their beliefs. I think they should have a choice of a different group or activity during that group/time. The unit was clean, they have updated the adult units. At least the ones I have been in, a lot nicer than 2002. More freedom than before. Most doctors and social workers have a good bedside manner. Nurses, most are okay. Techs are alright.

I was recommended this place by a close friend and I would highly recommend this place to any and everybody struggling with addiction! I spent most of my twenty's going to swanky upscale rehabs in South Florida and this place can compete with the best of them. The staff and counselors genuinely care about the patients and you will never be hungry, the food is great! This place is just the first stepping stone in your recovery to get you stabilized after using and I promise you they're great at doing so!! Thank you Phoenix house Sincerely, Andrew K

If u guys want the help they will help you. But they are not going to chase after you to give you the help! You have to show that you’re willing to fix your addiction or you’re just basically using this place for housing. I been to this rehab twice and thank god I got the help I needed on my second trip. So stop giving this place a 1star review because your family member got kick out! Do you even understand how hard it is to get kick out of that place? People are rating this facility like they paid out of pocket. Stop disrespecting a good thing!

I have taken several program participants to various medical and mental health appointments over the years both in Virginia and in Maryland and was hands down super impressed with the staff at the CSB juvenile, adult, and emergency services. There was quite a wait for emergency services but each department communicated with each other and was so polite. Brian Stewart is one of the few names that we caught but he was phenomenal. The staff checked on us, fed us, and gave us blankets. We saw them touching base with some individuals who were clearly in crisis and they were just so patient and caring. Dr. Smith was our emergency services doc and I wish he could see people regularly because he was funny and he made my program participant feel heard. I have been with an individual to the primary care as well and enjoyed the collaboration with DO Pristell.
