About Zrpath
Zrpath, formerly known as Zarephath, is an organization in Tucson, Arizona, that offers a range of social services for kids, teens and families. People facing challenges such as addiction, mental illness, trauma, poverty and unplanned parenthood can find support, community and resources here. Their team of compassionate mental and behavioral health professionals meets clients where they are and provides personalized, comprehensive care to help them identify and achieve their goals.
School Based Services
The Zrpath team understands that adverse life experiences often result in behavioral challenges as well as issues such as low self esteem and confidence, a lack of trust and difficulty forming healthy relationships. Through evidence based techniques, modeling and positive reinforcement, they seek to educate and empower young people so they can find hope, realize their potential and flourish.
They offer multiple programs and resources in schools to provide kids with a supportive, safe learning environment conducive to academic success. The program also offers community and outpatient services, including counseling and life skills courses, at other locations. Their aim isn’t just to help students succeed in school, but in life.
Trauma Recovery
Zrpath provides trauma informed counseling services specifically designed for kids and teens who have experienced events such as violence, sexual abuse or neglect. This is important since therapy that is not trauma sensitive can inadvertently trigger or retraumatize patients, inhibiting their healing.
Family Programs
Another good thing about Zrpath is that they encourage family members and caregivers to be actively engaged in drug rehab counseling and other forms of treatment. This is key because having a strong support network is vital for lasting recovery.
Their Family Success Program is neat as well. It helps families learn to communicate and solve problems more effectively while gaining a better understanding and appreciation for one another. I really appreciate that, since addiction often affects the whole family.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.
Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.
Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Treatments
Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.
Alcohol use disorder (AUD), also referred to as alcoholism and alcohol addiction, is a chronic condition that involves craving alcohol and an inability to control drinking. A person with AUD must drink greater and greater amounts of alcohol to achieve the same effects and experiences withdrawal symptoms if they stop drinking alcohol. Several evidence-based methods are available to treat AUD through alcohol rehab in Arizona. This treatment can occur on an outpatient or inpatient basis.
Arizona's substance abuse treatment centers can provide tailored treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Treatment programs may include medically assisted detox, 12-Step recovery, intensive outpatient programs, and aftercare support. Addiction experts employ evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and talk therapy to uncover and reframe unhelpful patterns. By graduation, you'll have developed new coping strategies, learned new stress management techniques, and have the capability of sustaining your recovery.
Clinical Services
Animal therapy (aka pet therapy or animal-assisted therapy) can be very healing, as it allows patients to bond with animals, who give unconditional love. This is particularly useful for those who suffered trauma by the hands of people, who may be able to trust and form closer attachments to animals than humans at certain stages of rehabilitation.
Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.
