The intensive outpatient program (IOP) offered at this location includes individual counseling, group therapy and a family program using community based support groups. You can participate in the program while still attending work or school. You’ll have a treatment plan that’s customized to your needs. The program is specifically for those who have accepted that they have a substance use disorder and are in the recovery process.
If you’ve had a driving under the influence (DUI) citation, you’ll need a DUI assessment to get your driver’s license back. You can get one at this location. You can also get a Deferred Prosecution Evaluation. Deferred Prosecution allows certain individuals to avoid prosecution for a DUI. Part of the requirements of the program include participation in mental health and substance use treatment.
This location also has family programs. These programs are for family members and friends with loved ones in recovery. The program includes treatment for codependency, individual counseling and family interventions. You’ll also get connected with community support groups.
The Alcohol Drug Information School course is also available at this location. The course is for DUI offenders who, after an assessment, are determined to be without significant substance use problems. This is a court ordered course that educates offenders about the health, social, personal and economic costs of substance related offenses. The course also connects people with community resources.

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
Treatments
The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.
