This is an amazing outpatient class where you get to learn about addiction and more importantly yourself, Bill is a no bullshit guy that wants nothing more than for you to excel and become a better person without substances. I totally would recommend lakeside.

Although there have been some bumps along the way Lakeside Milam has changed my life. When I first got here I couldn t understand how far into my addiction I actually was. Bill Bomber is the counselor that will tell you what you need to not what you want to hear. He was one of the most influential people in my early recovery. I am so grateful for the work we have done together.

This program truly gave me insight into my illness and tools to manage it positively. The group was inviting and supportive and our counselor led us with knowledge, skill, and compassion.

I tried 2 different 12 step programs that failed. The adverse therapy at Schick Shadel Hospital saved my life. It worked and I'm very grateful! Thanks so much

So upset this treatment center is closing!! Typical corporate decision. I am alive today because of their treatment. Clean & sober for 15 years with no desire to drink, do drugs, and/or binging on both. The comments from the new owners were disrespectful and ignorant about the process. Treatment is not easy in any program, but if it saves lives why end it. Shame on you Universal Healthcare! Many lives will be lost by closing this hospital.

I feel like it needs to be said that no one will kick an addiction in 10 days. Even the traditional 28 days won't end the addiction. There are no shortcuts to the life long journey you are embarking on, if you choose sobriety. What Schick does - is give you the tools, and take away the cravings so you can handle this huge life shift.I have been abusing alcohol for 8 years and finally decided I needed professional help. Schick is working so far for me. I've been 81 days sober as of today.What the treatment is like:There is a daily schedule of meds, vitals, and group. You will spend the mid morning through mid afternoon either completing a sleepy (propofol conscious sedation treatment where they ask you a series of questions related to getting sober, and staying sober) and counseling, or a duffy (ipecac aversion treatment where they give you ipecac and then have you drink alcohol. you quickly become ill to associate drinking with nausea.). Late afternoon are various groups.Pros:-The medical director at the hospital is a true patient advocator. Sabrina is incredible.-The community. I felt safe sharing in group, and gained some friends I imagine will be with me for life.-The counselor John. I've been going to therapy the past ten years, but HE is my favorite person I've talked through my mental health with. Compassionate, empathetic, just a good listener, and has great life advice. He's been there done that, and helped me see some great perspective. His lectures are also my favorite.-The program. Schick gives all of the same literature that any other rehab gives, but also has the aversion therapy, and sedation treatment.-The resources. The media wall, the counselors, the lectures, the movies, the hypnosis videos, the 4 agreements, etc. There are so many resources it was hard to take them all in. But theyre all powerful and have continued to help me outside of Schick.Cons:-The nursing staff. For the most part I didn't have a problem. But some of the staff had no bedside manner whatsoever. Some said misogynistic comments. Some did room checks late at night with little regard to patients sleeping. Some argued with other nurses in front of me. Either the nurse was great or the nurse was pretty unprofessional. And I didn't see much inbetween.-Not a diverse group at all. As a black queer female I felt out of place here. It's mostly white men in their 30s and 40s.

Didn't even book a class with Michael but he was extremely helpful in providing more information on typical next steps for my situation. With 20+ years of experience, he's great to work with and extremely professional

I used Bridgeway treatment and services for an alcohol and drug assessment. Michael was very assertive and took his time Assessing me. he was friendly , honest and easy to talk to. I felt like he did a great job on the assessment. He was knowledgeable And understanding . I Would highly recommend Bridgeway treatment services for assessment and treatment options.

Mike is an amazing person and great SUD evaluator! He is very easy to talk to, and very understanding of your situation. Once speaking with him in person and going through his program i became very at ease with my personal issues and situation. Highly recommended.

When I walked into Milam I had no idea the impact the program would have on my life. Through hard work, guidance, support, and understanding I ve been able to regain my strength and confidence without using. The fight is worth the reward! Sobriety and a newfound self worth is a blessing. Clarity, peace, and love are a few of the rewards.

This place is great and my case manager Gwendolyn she's just as awesome as awesome can be. I went to milam inpatient in Kirkland and graduated early the day I left inpatient I went directly to IOP in Renton. Man this place is a game changer. Thanks staff if lake-side milam recovery centers

After 28 grueling days at Lakeside-Milam inpatient treatment facility in Kirkland I did not want to do intensive outpatient. I was initially told that outpatient treatment was "2 days a week" so imagine my surprise when Milam in Renton tells me it's actually 3 days a week for 3 hours. I tried to resist but my wife said "go" so I did. I'm so so glad I did. All my reservations went away that first week. Lisa was perfect for me. Straightforward, knowledgeable, funny, and kept control of the class in a good way. Much of what was covered wasn't new to me but for the first time I was all in, paying attention to the ideas, concepts, and information being presented. I attended every class and graduated to Phase 2 with Dulcinea. In Phase 2 we covered relapse, healthy recovery tips, how to handle life events without mind altering substances. I needed everything that was covered because I was a chronic relapser. No more. At Lakeside-Milam in Renton I developed the skills and the support I need to stay the course, to remain on the path in recovery. I wouldn't be where I'm at without the help and guidance of the staff at Milam especially Lisa and Dulcinea. Plus you'll make new friends. Resistance is futile. Go and grow. You won't regret it

Dr. Scott is a knowledgeable, interesting, complex, spiritual, compassionate, and amazing human being. I have been working with him for a year now and he has provided a safe space for me to uncover areas of myself that I unknowingly have neglected and ignored for years.When you work with Dr. Scott, you will not receive a bunch of babble and incoherent jargon that leaves you more confused and feeling further away from healing. Instead, you will be met with some basic and fundamental core principals of what it means to be a kind human being and learn how to embrace who you really are and nurture yourself to become who you want to be.If you believe that therapy would help you, I highly recommend you pay Dr. Scott a visit.

From the first phone call to the my first time inside the office the feel is so professional and welcoming. I wish I had found them sooner. Maureen was amazing and we shared several hours of just conversation where I had my eyes opened to things I never knew. Education and understanding that you can't know everything gave an opportunity at an open conversation I didn't expect. I will always tell everyone this is the number 1 place to go

Been using there services for 15+ years. Today I call to get ahold of my Dr. I just needed his voicemail, after a 5-6 min. of being on neglect a receptionist answers, so I briefly told her my situation and need to get at the very least his voicemail. She sends me somewhere, it rings 2x and goes back to that music they make u suffer through as u wait being on neglect and after a 7 minutes of being on hold the phone disconnects! Angrily I try dialing them back up to where I got a pre-recorded message where it WON'T let me even leave a message.... VERY VERY IRRITATED!!!! NEED MED REFILL for over a week. Anyway that's my rant!UPDATEI'm not sure how but the Dr. I was trying to get in touch with, called me back!! It went from being irritating to shockingly great in a matter of 15 minutes.Originally gave 2 stars, I had to go back and make it a 5 star! Above and beyond, great people, great service. I would highly recommend ETS. They have been nothing but great since my first day!!!

Yes Evergreen services has done a terrific job of helping me. When I first started it was rough but eventually I made progress. You have to put in 100 percent but they were very patient and understanding. Thanks Michael Brend

I had been going to Evergreen Treatment Services in Seattle on Airport Way but forced to come to Renton ETS when Seattle's building was damaged when water pipes burst due to extremely cold weather. Though I find it an inconvenience to travel from Seattle to. Renton, ETS Seattle did is best to facilitate transportation via shuttle I found it very helpful that you can for up to 2:30pm at Renton. Just needed to take Metro bus 150 if I didn't make it to Seattle ETS by 12:45pm, that's when Seattle's last dose would be and last shuttle left also. All in all it has been an ordeal but the experience has made me aware of the clean facility and kind people who really do care about the job they do and respect for us clients who struggle with addiction. Thank you to all for helping me get my life back on track.

This place is run very professionally and efficiently. When you arrive for an appointment there is never a wait. Everyone you come acrossAt the clinic is friendly. I have called a few times needing help and I was well taken care of.I highly recommend this place!!

I have been a patient at THS Seneca methadone treatment clinic since 1998 and still get treated today. I get best care ever for my drug dependence.

I'm on Suboxone but it hasn't been working for myself any more and been thinking on getting on methadone. Is this a methadone clinic ? If any one can help me out thanks

Been with consejo since I was teenager and had returned as an adult...I have been consistently receiving help from my therapist from the last 3 years. I have noticed betterment in my self. I'm happy that I get support and understanding culturally being 1st generation of an immigrant family. I am very thankful from the help I received from the team from front desk all the way to the doctors.

Had a pretty debilitating I.V heroin addiction, found my breaking point and just wanted health. Called evergreen recovery and had a bed within 24 hours. They make the withdrawal process as comfortable as possible without actually using opioids. As far as success rates, well that depends on you. You get to sleep and eat all day until you have kicked the worst of the withdrawal process. Usually, you can be referred to an inpatient/outpatient treatment program as well, which from my experience is completely nessesary if you want to remain clean. If you are thinking about detoxing here, please just go for it. Don't think twice. Give it a shot. Get your freaking life back!

I was very grateful for the nurses and staff at evergreen detox. They were carrying, understanding, but most important they were non judgmental. I would not have made it through the dtox process without them. My room was clean and comfortable. I could not comment on the food because i didn't eat much. I can say they make sure thee is plenty healthy snacks and lots of gatorade to stay hydrated.. I was there a few years ago and unfortunately i need to go back, but at least there is a place to go to.

The staff is kind and have patience. Be good to them and they are even better to you. This is detox people, it's not the 4 seasons hotel. If u want it that way, then spend $ getting that kind of treatment or vote for more funding from the government to help the facilities that are trying to help addicts. They can only do so much with resources they have. Regardless....we're the addicts and no one to blame but ourselves and at least there are people out there trying to help us *which should be nothing more than appreciated!
