The Center saved my life, and changed my life forever. I have never felt so cared for as I did here. The structure is just like it was in school— and the housing reminded me of dorms! And the housing is free, so it allows you the opportunity to start fresh. The sense of community paired with the support of the staff makes a difference. I was actually sad to leave! (Also, being 5 minutes from the ocean…so worth it haha) For those struggling with addiction (EDs, Alcohol, etc) this is the place to go.

It has been one year since completing my journey at The Center. The Center-A Place of Hope exceeded all my expectations when I sought help for my mental health. I felt seen as a person and felt genuinely connected to the staff and fellow patients. I extended my stay and completed 5 weeks. I never imagined the healing I experienced. I am grateful for my experience and opportunity to focus solely on myself. Housing was fantastic and the whole-person care was remarkable. I highly recommend for anyone who is wanting something different than in-patient treatment!

had a really positive experience with this treatment center while completing my DUI requirements. Mike, the owner, runs the program himself and does a great job. From the beginning, he was professional, understanding, and respectful of everyone’s situation.
Mike creates a supportive and judgment-free environment, which makes the whole process much easier to get through. He’s knowledgeable, organized, and always willing to answer questions or help guide you through the program.

Trevor, one of the program directors, was wonderful to work with and clearly passionate about helping the young women in the program. I was also impressed by how seriously the staff takes recovery and resident well-being. Before we shared our stories, the girls were asked for their consent to participate, which reflected the respect and care the team has for each resident.
While I can't speak to what it's like to be a resident at Newport Academy, the environment appeared supportive and welcoming. The girls seemed comfortable, engaged, and willing to be vulnerable as my friend and I shared our experiences in recovery. Their openness, honesty, and courage left a lasting impression on me.
I am rooting for each and every one of these girls. They inspire me, remind me why recovery matters, and give me a sense of purpose when sharing my story. I completed inpatient at Northpoint and then immediately started IOP once I got out. I signed up for the zoom sessions which were M/W/Th from 6-9pm, which was perfect for my work schedule. We started each class with either breathwork, yoga or meditation for the first hour, then check ins and curriculum the last 2 hours. There was always a chance to process within our group and receive feedback if desired. My counselor was super great and helped me find a therapist, sent different resources and would have 1 on 1’s bi-weekly. Edmonds, WA | Center for Discovery Edmonds offers drug rehab and eating disorder services for youth living near Edmonds, Washington. This particular clinic treats males and females from ages 10 to 17. Their levels of care include residential care and a partial hospitalization program. Both are fairly intensive, but the partial hospitalization program allows you | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was admitted to this facility in february of 2020. I was at rock bottom of my eating disorder, experiencing a paranoid psychotic break, and at the start of a global pandemic. I won’t lie, at first i really didn’t find it helpful. I wanted to leave, i didn’t like the program and i DEFINITELY hated the meal plan. As most people with eating disorders did (and do) in the program. As i started to become healthier, mentally more than physically, i really thrived here in this facility. My therapist and the staff who worked there at the time were the highlight of my day. I wouldn’t have been able to recover without Hannah Flemings incredible psychology skills, and the support of Aimee as a dietary tech/counselor. Chelsea always made me laugh and was an amazing person to be around. Rachel was always such a cool chick, and i loved the groups that all of the counselors ran. I truly believe that i would not be walking this earth anymore if it weren’t for the care and support that i received from Center for Discovery in Edmonds. I understand why there’s a lot of bad reviews here, mostly because it’s teenagers who received care from this facility who most likely didn’t want to get better or had bad experiences with some staff. But please don’t hesitate to send your children to this facility, they really do help people and i am a testimonial for that. I would give you guys 5 stars, but there is one staff member who still works there that left a really bad taste in my mouth. Kara was probably the absolute worst person to hire as a counselor. I don’t care if she was a social worker and has experience, she should never work in an eating disorder clinic. When i was there, she caused a client to sit out of a group and start crying because she had us do stretches and exercises that went beyond our movement level (which is dangerous, because we’re supposed to always have our head above our heart for cardiac safety). She was very pushy with me when i showed signs of anxiety, challenging me to stop stimming when it was my way of self soothing in a scary environment. When i expressed my dislike towards her, all of the clients agreed with me and felt the same. Even when i had another stay in the Bellevue adult facility, none of the clients there liked her either (and that was in 2022). Otherwise, everyone there is doing an amazing job at providing comfort and care to the clients, at least in 2020 when i was there.

i’m not sure if she still works with sound health but jessica was a wonderful psychologist for me. living in seattle was hell and weekly appointments with her made it bearable. although the northgate building is in a rough area, Jessica and staff alike created a home-like environment for me and i was able to rely on it heavily. even a year + later the warmth and kindness shown to me by jessica, kate, and carly ruminate in my mind like a safety blanket. dr.pascoe was lovely as well.
weekly dbt and relationship group meetings including other like minded teens provided me with a sense of belonging and family. with an abusive home life and challenging school environment, the group therapy i attended was the loving community i needed. i still have the therapy worksheets as memories and references from our sessions together. i think about them often and hope their doing well.
the impact they’ve had on me is immeasurable, and for that i’m truly so grateful. i miss them dearly, as they were a resource for me when i was desperate for an outlet. someday i hope to provide someone with the same compassion and support that was given to me. the gratitude i hold for them is infinite, i wouldn’t be where i am today without them. ❤️🥹

I was very grateful for the nurses and staff at evergreen detox. They were carrying, understanding, but most important they were non judgmental. I would not have made it through the dtox process without them. My room was clean and comfortable. I could not comment on the food because i didn't eat much. I can say they make sure thee is plenty healthy snacks and lots of gatorade to stay hydrated.. I was there a few years ago and unfortunately i need to go back, but at least there is a place to go to.

The staff is kind and have patience. Be good to them and they are even better to you. This is detox people, it's not the 4 seasons hotel. If u want it that way, then spend $ getting that kind of treatment or vote for more funding from the government to help the facilities that are trying to help addicts. They can only do so much with resources they have. Regardless....we're the addicts and no one to blame but ourselves and at least there are people out there trying to help us *which should be nothing more than appreciated! Thank you evergreen recovery <3

Really enjoyed my time at PHP. The lectures go into a lot of detail and Tom does a great job answering questions and letting the group participate in discussion. Participating in art activities like collages got me out of my comfort zone and helped in positive ways I did not expect. Yoga on Wednesday is also awesome and something I would not have otherwise tried.

After an intervention from family for drinking starting this php outpatient program was very beneficial in starting new sober chapter in mt life and realizing my marijuana smoking was a problem too 😵 very glad I chose this establishment to better myself! Anyone looking to get out of addiction should most definitely come here for an assessment to consider options available 👍
