My road to sobriety has not been without obstacles. But, what I can say is that I would have given up a long time ago if it was not for the entire team at Lakewood CTC. They are all so down to earth and willing to assist however they can when it comes to successfully achieving sobriety. I don't know everyone's names, but you know who you are! Thank you to the entire team at Lakewood CTC!! P. S. Larry (office mgr) is the BEST!! And... Sheila and Andrew do a great job with keeping everything flowing like it should so there's hardly ever a long wait.

PRO: 3 or less day a week dosing with weekend carries from the start is a huge plus. This apparently quickly dwindles down to two or even once per week dosing which is the best I've seen anywhere. CON: no uber/Lyft reimbursement or transit pass fare provided that I know of, it's on you to figure out how to reliably get there every time. TIP: Show up before 2pm if you want your dose increased else they can't just automatically increase it at the counter no matter what the doctor has implied otherwise. Also able to emergency fill at Lakewood location after hours if unable to occasionally come in during regular dosing hours since they do close early but there is never an extended wait time.

The Ladies behind door #2 are absolutely the most amazing and welcoming staff I have ever encountered in any of my appointment type to-do list activities I have had to deal with. I was a little nervous going to get a mental health assessment and it was come to find out nothing near what I expected after seeing how easy to talk to and understanding the staff were when it came to my particular situation (GRE/DOC) and they made it more of a social visit rather than a new client walk in it felt like. Especially Ms.Shannon who said she was new here but I don't know if I buy that because she did an amazing job💯🎉🎊⚠️ Thank you again ladies so much and I hope to see y'all again next week 👋👍

I’ve been going to Greater Lakes since March 2025. When I first started, I had a female therapist who was always super kind and made therapy very enjoyable! Eventually, I was switched to a male therapist, but only after they asked me a few times if I’d be okay with that (which I was, and still am). I was a little nervous to switch but he is so easy to talk to and always brings positive energy to tough situations. I’m really happy with where I’m at now mentally thanks to the support I’ve gotten here. I’ve never had any issues with scheduling, and the ladies at the front desk are always so sweet and helpful! :)

I just attended classes today both the ADIS and victims panel. Our class time and instructor was a great facilitator (he kept us engaged and continued to ask questions). We had a group of great participants that took the class seriously and learned from each other. Then in the same day was the victims panel and our facilitator was fantastic with our group. Our guests sharing their life stories truly moved me to emotional tears. I’m grateful for today and this opportunity to participate in a unique way. Via Zoom. I’m recommending this “if I encounter anyone in the future” needing these classes.

Olalla was a life changing experience and gave me the tools I needed to get and stay sober. Kevin, my counselor, is an amazing and compassionate person who guided me through the recovery process. The Olalla staff are kind and patient and were always willing to give me the help I absolutely needed. The treatment center is located on was a hilltop forest overlooking Puget Sound, which is incredibly beautiful and the perfect environment for recovery. Walking the trail surrounding the property every morning was awesome. The food is wonderful and there is lots of it. I would recommend this treatment center to anyone who is serious about getting sober!!

I was at Ollala back in March of 2024 for a 28 days inpatient stay. It was the best decision of my life., and credit this experience and all I learned about addiction and myself for my continued sobriety today.The entire experience here at Ollala was incredible. I am so grateful for the Puyallup Tribe for taking on my total health care needs(except eye-glasses etc.) even tho I am of a different coastal tribe. It is how it should be bc we are all cousins along the coastal tribals areas and ty again for the SUPERB! I walked into Bayview at my lowest point in life. It was hard for me to accept treatment. I refused that I needed help. I thought I was fine and that I did not need the help.However that really did change after spending some time in the mental health and substance abuse programs. The counselors were really amazing and the way they structure their program really does help. Every one of the staff is easily approachable and they can all relate to you as the patient in some way. The staff do everything they can to help you and make you feel safe and easy to talk to them. I went in as a broken man and I came out someone better. If you really want to get better, this is the place to do it. Anyone here that writes a bad review or says that it did not work here in the review section did not try to get better. Instead they are blaming a place that truly cares about the patient and they gave up on themselves.Again if you really do want to get better come to this place because I cannot think of another program that is well structured, professional, and as caring as Bayview.

This place is amazing. Don't let the location put you off. The receptionist is awesome. Very kind, communicative and funny. Her lil puppy is the cutest, too! I had Kenny for my counselor, and he did not disappoint. He listened to what I had to say, and didn't make me feel rushed or unheard. I look forward to my time here. Thank you!

I’ve been to pretty much every methadone clinic in Pierce County, and most of them are frustrating. It takes forever to get dose increases, and some require an EKG every 20 mg, which just slows everything down and makes the process miserable. This place is completely different—hands down the best clinic I’ve been to. They allow dose increases of up to 20 mg per day if needed, and the intake process only took about an hour. Yes, you do have to go in daily at first (about 13 days), but it’s straightforward and worth it. After about a month, I was already eligible for weekly take-homes, which was way easier than I expected. I’m already up to 160 mg, and the whole process has been smooth and supportive. Best clinic in Washington, no question. Highly recommend.

I have been going to the Kent Comprehensive treatment Center for a little over a year now. I did have a small break after only being a client for 3 months or so. But came back because I was ready to use the program for what its intended for. I've made some friends at the clinic. I credit the in person art group for helping me rediscover my love for coloring/drawing. The staff are always super friendly. And the counselors are all here for us when we need the help. If you've contemplated going to a methadone clinic, I will always recommend doing it. Cause it saved my life as well as my girlfriends. And I will always be grateful for that

Im on my second week this week and I truly love it the two girls in reception are total sweethearts and my counselor Amy i knew her 5 seconds before I knew I was in good hands I instantly felt comfortable and that I could tell her anything and I new she actually cares and isn't there just for a paycheck ! And idk why I didn't listen to people sooner about getting on the program it's working and I'm slowly but surely getting better

They care IMMENSELY about you. They want you to succeed and give you every tool to. You do have to do it yourself, but you don't have to do it alone. They help you and teach you how to take accountablity for yourself, they tell you when you mess up, then they then you how you can fix it. They give you everything you need to be successful, you just have to be ready for it.
