This place is actually trying to help you stay sober. I belong to another clinic (for the moment) and I have curtesy dosed here before and had an emergency where I couldn’t get back to my home clinic in time and Amy and Betty Anne (excuse my spelling) and the Front Desk did everything they possibly could to help me get emergency dosing for the day with them even though it was close to closing time. I plan on switching to their clinic closer to my home as soon as I can. They truly want to help you stay sober. They will do whatever they possibly can to help you and be on your team. I truly believe this clinic is the BEST clinic there is. I had contacted this organization searching for support in a time of need. They are very willingly and happy to help! It was surprising to me that I didn't get turned down right away and wasn't asked very much questions about my situation. It shows me the staff are kind, compassionate people who truly care. Another big postive is that they are very fast at answering phone calls and returning emails in a timely matter, which I appreciated a lot. The only reason why I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because IMO I didnt feel quite as safe where the office is located traveling by myself. I am a smaller timid woman. :) To be fair, it is in a highly populated area targeted for certain demographics. :) I do recommend this place if you are in need! The services arent limited to what you think it is! Thank you so much!

The Front End Office Manager Huy Tran is absolutely 100% a superstar. After my provider left the clinic and my prescription for my high cholesterol condition expired. He went to bat and talked to another provider about getting my prescription bridged with my pharmacy so I could get back on my med right away so I could be ready for my annual physical a month from now. He listened carefully and understood my situation with limited insurance visits that it would be best for me to get back on the meds right away so I will have a good result on my once a year checkup. Life can be difficult. Misunderstandings happen. I came into the office and was told I would need to come back for a blood draw because I didn’t fast. After the staff collected more information I was told I could have the tests done. I live 48 miles away so i was happy that I could be taken care of on the visit. I prefer not to publicize my name but I highly recommend the Alternatives treatment center. I completed their CDP program due to issues with alcohol and I am doing great one year later. They continue to support me. I was a counselor myself in Oregon so I am a critical of counseling techniques. I recommend them. I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it.

I had a great time going to APC Olympia. Greg Hammond and Nounouche Chorley were the best counselors I have ever seen. Learned a lot of tools and skills that help me with interpersonal relationships every day, both situationally and long-term. Also developed great coping skills for dealing with some of life's most difficult questions. Very straightforward, no-nonsense approach. A true gem!
