Family was visisting Estes park. My daughter who is autistic and disabled and on Medicaid fell down stairs and we were advised. By travel insurance Generali to take her to the Estes park er we have them her Medicaid insurance and our Generali travel insurance. They accepted it. She wa in the er one hour with a cursory exam I had to request a splint and they gave her no prescriptions. Her ankle swelled like a ballon and turned blue. I have her Celebrex myself. A few weeks later bill for about 3600 for One Hour in er. The refused to bill her Florida Medicaid or travel insurance and have been harassing us with threatening emails. Brianna has limited social security income barely covers foodThey failed to bill her insurances two of themWhat a horrible experienceCan t collect blood from a stone hut could have collected from her insurances if billed timelyIf their cared about their patients they would have done things properly really 3600 fromHospital separate bill from er doctor separate bill for radiology and bill for inflatable cast that broke first day she used it ended up having to buy an elastic supportDo not go to this er Go to a walk in clinic unless you are critical and if you are airvac oit or you may get tuberculosis or COVID from the person across the way from you with opened door coughing uncontrollably with no real barrier between you and them. So sadFollow up it is now almost a year later and we are still receiving threatening emails to send Brianna to collections Despite providing the billing department with the insurance information they refuse to billOur travel insurance Generali states of the claim is denied by Medicaid they will pay This is a loose loose situation as the medical center refuses to bill Brianna s insurance so the other insurance can not be billed. Being on Medicaid and autistic Brianna has no assets and no ability to work Again she was in er one hour and had an x ray of ankle and no treatment The original bill was almost 4000 dollarsFind another place to get your care in an emergency if you are in Estes parkAnd your response is inappropriate. No you are not sorry at all Gow do you expect and why should you expect a person. With Medicaid and who is disabled to pay your charity bill. You are a disgrace

Incredible experience, wonderful staff and facility. While on vacation became unfortunately sick and was seen immediately by friendly and knowledgeable staff and medical team in the ER, the surgeon and team were phenomenal and the Med Surge nurses were highly attentive and helpful.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Professional services are often necessary to recover from addiction. Drug rehab in Colorado provides the expert services needed to address the complex issues of addiction and help individuals start their recovery journey.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I was running late, so I called and was told that they had a couple of openings, so to come on in. Everyone I spoke with was very nice and helpful. They explained what they were going to do & made sure I didn't have any questions. They were very quick and efficient.

Please avoid this hospital at all costs. Bring your loved ones down to Loveland or Longmont. I don’t even know where to begin with my experience. My mother was admitted to the hospital and then given two different drugs that cannot be mixed together from a doctor that had to “step in” that day and It almost killed her, and I had to sign her life away that night with my siblings. Since then she has been in the hospital every month. I have had to drive up from Fort Collins week after week, day after day to get the correct paperwork in order. Every single time I walk into that hospital, they do not have any of the paperwork in order that we spoke about previously. Nobody there is on the same page at all nurses, nobody. The social workers, and front desk people are the only people that seem to give a shit. She has a closed head injury. She gets confused very easily. They stop her off of certain prescriptions and then refill them at the pharmacy continuously without letting the pharmacy or anyone else know. Their system is broken. I have sat down with doctors and social workers and made myself power of attorney so that I am able to put her in a helping home when the time is right. But week after week day after day when I come up, they tell me that I am not power of attorney and I cannot get anything done. It is beyond frustrating. I don’t have enough negative things to say. Stay away from this place

This is a shout out for Dr Jennifer Mclellan and the whole surgical team at Estes Park Health! My husband needed surgery and the Denver area is so busy and crowded that we were told we had to wait 21/2 months for surgery. We saw Dr Mclellan and were on her schedule in 2 weeks. We had a wonderful, personal, warm, relaxed and professional experience. The surgery went perfectly and my husband is now back on his feet and feeling great. Kudos to OR manager Christina, OR nurses Pat and Heidi, peri-op nurses Kelly and Lynnett and our CRNA ( whose name escapes me at this moment). We will definitely make the trip up to Estes Park Health when and if we need surgery in the future! Thank you all for such awesome care!

I’m very torn about leaving this review. I have been a patient of this office for 25 years. My daughter was born here in 2010. My doctors here; besides a select few that were specialty doctors have been the greatest doctors I’ve ever had. Proponents for myself and all their patients. Recently I went in for a check up. My regular doctor was out so I saw the physician who was covering for her. She ordered some blood work done in regards to some concerns I had. Went upstairs and had my blood work drawn. A month or so later I get a bill for $1700!! The total bill itself for the blood work and X-ray was $2000 and my insurance paid 300. I assumed this was ann insurance issue which they’ve always been great about paying for things so I called my insurance. The woman I spoke to explained to me that the blood work was coded as an outpatient ER visit and that if EPMC resubmitted under the correct code I would owe my copay - $25. My insurance called EPMC, I called EMPC and my PCP sent the billing dept an email requesting they resubmit. They never returned my phone calls, emails or my insurances phone calls. They have since sent me to collections. I always thought I was safe at Estes Park Medical Center from overcharging and upcoding, but I guess they are just as corrupt and predatory as so many other facilities. I love my doctor so much but I am fearful of fraudulent billing done by them now that I see they are happily doing it even when called out. Edit — PLEASE do not patronize me with your generic response. Your billing office was reached out to multiple times to rectify this and chose not to.PLEASE delete your response

I've been a nurse for 17.5 years. This was my absolute favorite nursing job. Everything from top to bottom is on point. It's in a small mountain community that partially relies on donations. DONATE!P.S. It remains the only place on earth that I could run my mouth but then turn my head 90 degrees and see a friggin' elk munching leaves in the parking lot.P.P.S. Don't ever run your mouth at a nursing job. Forgiveness is as thin as the air in Estes.

Personal care, bathing, gown changing, bed changing, all very lacking. Anything involving work avoided. Husband died wearing same gown For 3 dàys, he had been transferred in no comfort care for dying patient. Just waiting for him to get it over with. Employees all lack knowledge and motivation and empathy.

Our sister was taken in via ER yesterday, and while visiting with her today, the hospital staff was over the top friendly and effective in taking care of our sister and the whole family. (Laura was our nurse and was so amazing!). Thank you so much. Everyone was amazing from the nurses to the exray techs to all the rest.
