While on vacation in Estes Park I became ill and disoriented. I entered myself into the emergency room at Estes Park Health. I was immediately impressed by the speed at which attention was provided to me. The concern shown by all the staff, nurses, doctor and associated providers was outstanding. After numerous tests and monitoring I was diagnosed with high altitude pulmonary edema. The oxygen after care provided by Bill was phenomenal. It made me feel well cared for. I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff that attended me at Estes Park Health. For anyone with health issues I highly recommend this hospital to provide the best care possible. Thank you so much to the team that took such great care of me today.

If I could leave negative stars I would! A few years ago when I returned to estes and started my health care journey, I was very happy with the doctors and level of care they gave... but shortly after it's turned horribly. As soon as you finally get comfortable with a GOOD doctor they leave because working here is hell (I've been told)... once your good doctor leaves, then you're tossed around and handled as if you're an inconvenience to be making appointments. Getting refill responses & refills is a nightmare, be prepared to run out. Plus, you're made to feel like you're just an item to be checked off a list. I know not everyone has had this negative experience, and I've stuck it out hoping that things iron out and get better, but it's only gotten worse. It really is too bad that there's so few options in Estes, so they act and do whatever they want. I will never return.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Professional services are often necessary to recover from addiction. Drug rehab in Colorado provides the expert services needed to address the complex issues of addiction and help individuals start their recovery journey.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

No issues with the health care, but billing can be an absolute nightmare. They just don't seem to care about getting paid. I've never spent so much time trying to get someone to accept payment. Very Frustrating. On a refreshing note, the insurance company is actually trying to help ( :
