Horrible, especially when you are continually sent from rehab to rehab thru Divert Court. Don't do it. Notice there are no pics of the actual rehab CTR? That's because it's like a jail in looks and cleanliness!

My father has been going to this treatment center since the beginning of January. These last 2 to 3 months has not been easy for him. His health has been declining to the point where he found out that he has cancer, we have been reaching out as a family to see how we can get him early released for medical leave to get the proper care that he needs? This facility staff has been neglecting my dad s Health, and missing all of his doctor s appointments and he can t take medication that s he actually needs. My father will ask if they will contact , the emergency for an ambulance to pick him up. They will disregard his right as patient and get mad if family call 911 for emergency to pick him up and take him to the hospital because he s not feeling well. Dealing with heart failure, cancer, and fluid causing his feet to swell and now has blood clots in chest because they refused to get him medical attention. Family had to contact them emergency services again because of these issues continue to get neglected. It s unfortunate that visitors can t see their loved ones to help with treatment is devastating. My father not perfect when it comes down to justice system but he s definitely human being that s love by his kids, grandkids, family & friends that will support him through the process. I honestly don t want my father health get worse before we can actually get help. I pray someone signs off for medical leave soon.

Accepted Insurance

Judge John C. Creuzot – Judicial Treatment Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive outpatient programs offer high-level care for clients as an increased risk of relapse, including those in early recovery, those with a strong history of relapse, and those experiencing a crisis. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in nine to 20 hours of care weekly, with treatment modalities that combine psychotherapy and recovery education, and holistic therapies, such as acupuncture and animal therapy. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is also common in alcohol and/or opioid recovery.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

During rehab in Texas, you'll deal with underlying issues that contribute to addiction. By addressing these challenges and learning healthy ways to cope with them, you'll develop strategies that help you live a drug-free lifestyle.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

I don't know what they want to achieve by not feeding the patients correctly but this is just wrong. They have to learn to pay attention to the sings of need because they just can't ignore medical issues. Also they could fix up the place to make people more comfortable.

This place is ridiculous. I've been calling there all morning and afternoon now and the phone goes unanswered. I've pressed all the buttons on the ive and it goes to voicemail. I can only pray that the inmates are treated better than this!!!

I am TRYING to send some packages to a patient at this treatment center and aparantely Amazon can't deliver ther. This facility only allows Amazon and Walmart but the delivery people can't deliver bc it's so top secret??? Then once she gets the pkg FINALLY, the staff always says there is some reason she can't have it? Ya know, I don't have a million dollars to keep spending on this stuff and I don't appreciate this staff not letting her have tennis shoes THAT FIT HER, INSTEAD OF BEING 2 SIZES TOO BIG? But Lord forbid, they have a dabble of a color on them so she gets punished and can't have them or wear them bc of a little bit, and I mean very little bit, of color on them? She only has shoes that are literally 2 sizes too big and these guys don't give a rats behind! So what? THEY ARENT THE ONEA THAT HAVE TO WEAR TENNIS SHOES 2 SIZES TOO BIG! Why WOULD they care? Can't have the deodorant bc it isn't a certain kind. Can't have the denture cream bc it isn't up to their requirements? Nope, cant have THAT KIND OF shampoo or conditioner???? Makes me wonder what all you are doing to these people behind all the locks and gates? I imagine it's not good bc yall still go with covid lock downs? Do u know how many lawsuits there are against the drug makers from the vaccine? It's the FLU? You are a medical facility and u haven't figured that out yet? You guys are a joke and shouldn't be allowed to do what yall do and get away with it? Tsk tsk tsk. You will pay for your mistreatment one day. You will have to answer to the abusive ways you treat people. Bet on it! And you deserve every charge YOU WILL BE CHARGED WITH, when your day comes, as well. Better treat them right and quit with your hypocritical denials for their necessitates. Give the girl her shoes that fit her! Look around! Why is SHE the ONLY ONE that can't wear color? U don't like white people? Are yall pregidous? U must be. Bc that's just wrong to make a white girl go with shoes 2 sizes too big. U are wrong for that. Wrong for all of it! Yall are just wrong, all the way around and I hope that if u, or a loved one ever are in an awful place like that, that the staff treats u with live and kindness. Not discuss and rigidity. Knock your better than though attitude down several not he's and GIVE THE GIRL HER PERSONAL BELONGI GS. WOULD YA?!?!?!

I was a Client at gateway foundation correction in Wilmer TX, 2017. And I really don't know why there is so much hate in the reviews. Because this place saved my life literally. I was an addict for 20 years and the help and support I received in this program helped me see that I could recover. And I have. I will always be an addict but I am still sober and living my best life. And I owe it all to gateway and Ms. Barbra Becker & Ms. Hall. If you don't want to get better then yeah this place would suck! But if you really want a way out of addiction then this place will be your saving grace. Keep up the great work!

You people do great work! My son was there 6 months. I see a radical improvement in his behaviors & mentality. Even when things are going wrong, his responses, since your program, inspire me. He is still my son but the new & improved 2.0 version. I feel like now he can actually work on having a good life. Bless you!!

When the "counselors" would take a day off the "clients" would teach the class. In 6 months my meds were changed 3 times and the meds were NEVER refilled on time. I had to detox then get my meds every month. Jail mentality, jail food, jail clothes, jail commissary. In 6 months in there I lost 50 pounds. The AA/NA classes were a joke. 30 mines of reading the rules of a meeting then the meeting was over. Never again. I will never ever go back to that place. It was unbelievable.
