One of the best places I’ve ever been to considering it was rehab lol .it was my first time ever in rehab. But my experience was great my counselor Clare was awesome one of the best a God sent. Anthony was great kept it all the way real and has a big heart Bryant was great Donnie so cool funny Matt was great Rob laid back Christian was great Sam was sweet . Jack and Ben was awesome they will change your way of thinking about life if I forgot anyone u know I love all of yall . Mary was so sweet she’s the cook .the best place highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️changing lives .

Right Turn was a great decision I made for myself. The entire staff is caring, compassionate and non-judgmental. RT, professional , educated and maintaining that authenticity, integrity and "realness" which is crucial in recovery. Clare, my personal Counselor, has helped me dig deep within myself...importance of self-awareness, trueness, leading to growing in emotional /spritual maturity. Really showing up , investing in myself! Retraining, focusing like an athlete, for my personal best, It's not just being sober, it's a lifestyle. Alcohol is just not an option now. With all I've gained, I value! I'm grateful for time and love ..every moment of my life..how am I going to use it? If you are struggling, even in silence, just reach out and Right Turn will hold your hand to help guide you. Guide you to that "peace". Thank you Right Turn! All the staff is very courteous and they actually care about you. Shout out to Ms. Mar for the excellent food. Gina, Ben, Anthony, Claire, Natasha, Donnie, Brian, Jess, Sam, Jeff, Dave and Macy. They are all good people.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Linden Oaks' Residential Stay Program offers additional support for those who may benefit from a structured living environment. A patient's stay may vary from a few days to 30 days ago. The program includes group, family and individual counseling.

Intensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities. This program provides half-day treatment (Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:15 am to 12:30 pm).

Aftercare Support

Clients receiving support in a rehab aftercare program typically partner with their case manager and care team to identify and access the services that best align with their recovery needs and goals. Rehab aftercare services are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs to promote their long-term sobriety. Care modalities are highly customized and may include a range of medical, mental health, and social service resources, including peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction.

Sober Living Homes

Most sober living homes in Maryland are located in peaceful, quiet neighborhoods. These private residences are designed to offer a low-stress but structured environment where residents can focus on their ongoing recovery efforts and receive support to maintain sobriety. Several individuals, all of whom are in recovery, share the halfway house. This type of communal living helps decrease relapse, increase employment rates, and helps individuals hone their recovery skills.

Intervention Services

If you think a loved one needs help with substance abuse, but they are not seeking treatment, it may be time for a drug intervention in Maryland. Intervention services can help you with this effort. During the intervention, loved ones share how their addiction-related behavior has affected them and encourage the individual to get treatment. The intervention specialist helps facilitate the conversation and explain how treatment can help.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Commonly known as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term intensive rehab option designed to provide treatment during the day and you're able to return home at night. PHP treatment offers structured programming, including individual and group therapy, typically meeting 3-5 days a week for 6-8 hours per day. PHP duration averages around 90 days, with some programs offering amenities like transportation and meals.

Medically Assisted Detox

Quitting drugs and alcohol on your own can cause uncomfortable and even dangerous side effects caused by the withdrawal process. In medically assisted detox, a team of licensed medical professionals will monitor your health, provide medication for potential withdrawal symptoms, and work to keep you safe and comfortable. Most people transition to an inpatient program or a maintenance program that uses medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing techniques are often part of group therapy sessions. These are evidence based techniques that address thinking and behavioral patterns that trigger addictive behavior. Learning how to address these thought patterns can help create lasting change.

My first DUI offense so I had no idea what Right Turn was going to be like. The staff was amazing the place was very clean and tended to which was a plus also the food they had laid out was in bunches. I would like to thank all the staff at Right Turn for playing the crucial role trying to get people to do better, was an great experience and Jorge’s group was the best🙌🏾

Recently did three weekends at Right Turn to help with a second DUI offense. Not only did they help with the outcome of my court case, but they helped change my life. Really thankful for this place and everyone involved. Real people helping real people.

Right Turn Impact (RTI) is the best rehab if you want to change your life--from addiction to freedom! The entire staff are recovering addicts/alcoholics, so they truly understand your addiction and ways to help, including help for your court hearing. Start with the RTI's weekend program (many referred from a lawyer when you are in trouble). You will hear from Ben C., managing partner and COO, about his story and immense knowledge and advice if you are arrested, what to do to protect your rights (don't blow--ever), and some steps to help you build a defense at court. Then you meet Kristin S., who is on the team of "Court Services." Her job and her team is to go to your court hearing, to help you give strong support to the state attorneys and judges. IT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! Kristin S. gave us so much information to build up your defense--most importantly building a notebook to organize everything. She had samples and ideas. I used: *LEGAL (lawyer/police arrest, court info) *MVA/InterLock *Recovery: MADD certificate; Right Turn Impact weekend certificate; either RTI or others for progress of in- or outpatient program; and verification of AA or NA meetings **MOST Important!!! for me: Personal/Character References Kristin was amazing. One of her team members, Ron, was at my court hearing. He was great. He was one of the 1st founders of Right Turn Impact. Expect okay food, but great coffee! Saturday night allows you to order from a good Italian restaurant (~$20-30). I enjoyed my companions with other addicts/alcoholics. We understood each other with a strong bond with our similar stories, our fears, and our support of each other. Beds are a bit uncomfortable--but I was happy to be there. Think about it...get better, or things could be a lot less comfortable in jail, etc. Beds and food were not my priority. More supportive pillows are needed, though, so ppl do not have sore necks, shoulders to be okay every morning/day. That is my top suggestion. Not the best but supportive and extra pillows, and extra blankets, as I had only one when I was there and it was a bit cold. Definitely call Right Turn Impact for help! They know what they are doing and understand!

Awful. Pathetic service. Was supposed to be sent my report from my drug/ alcohol assessment. 3 months almost 4 still nothing no email no mail. Terrible service from Matt and the right turn team have tried contacting multiple times.At risk of jail time due to there lack of diligence.

I just did a 2 day stay recommended by my lawyer on a 3rd dui-.although the last one was 24 yrs ago, they wanted to give me 60 days in jail....The people here are cool, respectful and make you feel welcome, EVERYONE.. they kept the place clean, ran a a pretty tight ship and everybody has either been in your shoes, or currently going through the same thing...i would have given it 5 stars if the food was better, but overall a really nice experience and it help me get a suspended sentence AND CHARGES DOWNGRADED
