We recently placed a close family member at Synergy Executive for Men for treatment mid November 2024. First impression was that the facility was nice, but needs some routine upkeep. The first thing I noticed was the conference room chairs and tables showed a lot of wear and tear. The private rooms are small and clean but nothing to write home about. We paid the anticipated max out of pocket cost after insurance of $9,450 + the $6,000 amenity fee that was to cover the 30 day stay of private room and board, private chefs, massages, cupping, acupuncture, exercise classes, outdoor activities and entertainment.NOTE THE REFUND POLICY BEFORE SIGNING UP: If for any reason the residential stay is cut short, a refund will be issued minus the days of treatment and 3 additional days to cover turnover expenses of $2,500.ALSO NOTE: The $6,000 amenity fee is the same regardless if the client utilizes all the extra amenities (massages, cupping, acupuncture, exercise classes, etc) or they do not.MY SUGGESTIONS FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT AT SYNERGY EXECUTIVE :1. Use the amenities to the full extent that you can. You have already paid for them!2. If you are the family member (or client), don t do this until your family member is engaged and committed to change or it will be a waste of your time and money, you will just be disappointed. The client has to want the change it is hard as a family member to truly understand this as we want it so badly for them. 3. My last suggestion is to AVOID THE HOLIDAYS amenities based upon what our family reported you will pretty much be just watching tv on those days.

It's difficult for me figure out, exactly where to start, in evaluating my experience at synergy. It was awesome and awful, it was terrific and terrifying. Recovery is hard, Synergy both supported and challenged me.Let me start with the clinical staff. Synergy has five full time psychologists on staff, a part time nurse, a doctor that is available via video conference and a team of instructors. The clinical staff is, in a word extraordinary. The diversity of the staff insures, that you will find at least one staff member that "gets you". Most of the clinical staff have not only vast professional knowledge but also personal experience, dealing with a variety of addiction behaviors.I felt like my recovery coaches truly cared for me.The support staff. Synergy staffs the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The support staff consists of resident advisers (RAs), chefs, front office personnel and a of platara of outside contractors. The in house support staff is caring, exceptionally skilled, engaging and willing to help. If you need anything or just need to talk to someone in the middle of the night, RA's are happy to help. The front office staff is a pleasure to work with. It dose not matter if it's working with your insurance company helping with admitting or discharging you, their skills are top notch. The outside contractors do their jobs efficiently making sure the facility is spotless and that you are pampered. Last and certainly not least, are the Chefs. Synergy has 2 full-time chefs covering approximately 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. The food is not only healthy but outstanding. The facilities. The Synergy campus is nestled in the Ozark hills, providing privacy, a peaceful natural environment and quiet surroundings. Synergy provides single private rooms that are on par with high end hotels and spas. The list of activities available is exhaustive Including but not limited to. Pickleball, Yoga, hot tub, salt therapy, acupuncture, therapeuticmassage, cupping, a half mile outdoor path and pool.In conclusion. I arrived at Synergy at 8:00am 05Feb. My blood alcohol level was .12. I was smoking a pack a day. I had to use a walker. My life was a wreck. Five weeks later, no alcohol, no cigarettes, no walker and a set of tools to better manage my life.To paraphrase Elton John, someone saved my life last year.Daniel C Dibble

This is NO DOUBT the BEST place to be if you're struggling with addiction and/or mental health issues. I personally was in a very dark place due to my prolonged fight with alcoholism. Drinking because I was stressed and stressed because I was drinking. Not a good place to be, mentally or physically. Causing heartache for myself and those around me, for far too long. Not to mention the excessive loss of time, money, and energy over the years. But then, I found Synergy Executive and my whole world changed! From the moment I arrived, to the moment left, I was surrounded by the genuine feeling of love and compassion. The counselors were full of knowledge and insight to help guide me into and through the journey of recovery. Classes are chosen and taught with great intent to assist with finding your own path to sobriety. A lot of the staff are also incredibly relatable, because they were once residents of the Synergy houses, struggling with the same issues. Some really super awesome people, you know who you are ! And the food, good grief, truly unforgettable! The chefs at the house were amazing. Cooking up great meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday. Was never disappointed and never left feeling hungry! Synergy also offers all sorts of self-care options, like, massages, cupping, acupuncture, meditation, and my new personal favorite activity, YOGA! Love it! Also, there's a renovated barn full of games to play, like, pool, ping pong, basketball, and of course pickleball! Soo much fun! I'm truly grateful for Synergy and all who are involved that have helped me find my way back to my true self, I couldn't have done it without you! Remembering that I can have an awesomely good time without needing drugs or alcohol and relearning to love myself for exactly who I am. I can't thank Synergy enough for all you've done for me and will continue to do for others! Love you guys, always! I can only hope this message speaks to someone that is on the fence about finding help and reclaiming their life, you can do it! As always RECOVERY IS THE WAY!

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

This is not a typical rehab. If you think you have a problem, then you owe it to yourself to go here and give it two weeks. 1 week of rest and 1 week attending everything class and event they offer; I promise you that if you will do this with an open mind and willingness to ... Read More

I’ve been in the throes of my meth addiction for the past 2 and a half years now. Went to treatment before, but it didn’t really seem to click last time. Synergy was different. The holistic and clinical balance is damn near perfect, with engaging counselors and a serene and peaceful environment. The program is really what you make of it, emerge yourself, apply yourself, and you’ll come out a changed person

This place legitimately changed my life for the better, I went in with some major mental health issues and a substance abuse problem. My 30 days staying I had my mindset changed completely. There are amazing counselors and the whole staff is very supportive and caring not to mention the amazing chefs they have hired. If you’re struggling with mental health or a substance abuse there is no better establishments. I will never forget my journey and all the friends I made along the way.

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Thank you so much, Landon. It was so rewarding to watch the transformation you made in the 30 days here. We cannot wait to see all of the amazing things you go off and accomplish in life!

Listen up my fellow afflicted Men! This is the place to get back what was lost! This place literally saved my life! I know that because when I left, unfortunately I turned back into the monster I was before! That was me not ready then, but it was everything I was taught in that loving, and nurturing sanctuary that I get to say today I am blessed with three years sober!!!

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Thank you so much, Brandon. Congratulations on 3 years, that is amazing and such a huge accomplishment!!!

When I came to Synergy I was lost. Lost in so many ways. I cant express how much this place saved and changed my life. It was a life changing event. From day one the Staff and everyone involved with the program were fantastic and very professional. Not only were they professional but very welcoming and comforting. Each week was a different eye opening event both ways that I did not want to see but had to and also things that I wanted to see. I hope one day to be able to contribute just a little of what I learned while I was there. I made a life time group of friends and support group. A huge thank you Synergy and to everyone that helped me through my journey.

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Thank you, Manny! I am so glad we were able to be a part of that journey with you and watch you transform while you were here! You did all the hard work!

If you are reading these reviews, I'm guessing you are probably not thrilled at the prospect of coming here. I know that I was scared, nervous, depressed, anxious and, honestly, pissed. However, if you are considering Synergy Executive for your substance abuse or mental health treatment, please hear me: Look no further. That might sound cheesy but I mean it very seriously, I just finished a 30 day stay and it was the best decision I've ever made (and it was not my first impatient treatment experience, I've been one other place before). Cutting to the chase here are some facts about this place: -The campus is gorgeous, modern, and clean! - The staff is INCREDIBLE. From the therapists, to the support staff there is not a single person in this organization that is a weak link. You can tell that they put a lot of effort and consideration into who they hire for any position. They are trying to maintain a strong culture of care and healing and only bring in people who fit that mold. -The therapists and educators are top notch. These are not amatuer community school graduates (no offense to the many people with these credentials who are doing god's work and saving lives daily) these are clinical psychologists and therapists with an enormous collective experience and wealth of knowledge. The classes are like TED talks taking place right in front of you multiple times a day. They educate you on every angle involved in mental health and substance abuse and pile you with the practical tools and knowledge to change your life forever. They encourage participation, input, experience and discussion in their classes. They allow the personalities of the clientele to come out and make things very enjoyable; classes can be fun and exciting with humour and lightheartedness one minute, and then extremely inspirational, serious and sobering the next. These therapists and educators live the principles they teach and participate right alongside the clients offering personal experiences and testimonies to the many skills and lessons that they impart. The therapists and staff encourage you to reach out and touch base long after you've left, offering to be there and help anytime you may need it. -No one talked to me about Jesus/God. (although there certainly are people there who will if that is your thing! Including 1 faith based [non-required] class a week). -You will truly receive 1hr-1.5hr sessions with your personally assigned therapist 2-3 times every week that you stay here. No joke. -The food is incredible. The two chefs on staff are amazing cooks who create top notch meals 3 times a day. This is not cafeteria food. -The accommodations are fantastic, you can not beat a private room and bathroom. The beds, and all the living areas are comfortable, clean and homey, offering great relaxing spaces. The amenities are top notch as well, including the workout room, pickleball/basketball courts, walking/running track, sauna and hot tub (pool was closed for winter during my stay but I heard it is great as well). -Their approach to your health and recovery is not one dimensional. They preach and instill a completely holistic approach to mental health and recovery. They will teach you how to build a life that is more than just "being sober", one that has meaning, purpose, and joy. They teach you how to care for your body and your mind, building a life worth retaining. This includes massage therapy, yoga classes 3 times weekly, guided meditation, acupuncture and cupping, as well as instructed exercise. I truly can not say enough about my experience at this facility. It has changed my life forever and given me an outlook and blueprint for my life that I never would have found alone. If you are looking at Synergy, just pick up the phone and call them. Find out what it will take to go and then DO IT! You will not regret it.

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:

I cannot recommend Synergy Executive enough. They have everything you need to really focus on yourself and your recovery -- and everything else you never thought would work. The entire staff is First Class, 5 Stars. From the amazing cooking to the fantastic classes to the all-there-when-you-need-something staff -- You will not be disappointed. I went in for alcohol rehab -- and got that plus a full recovery of myself. Wish I would have gone sooner.

Synergy changed my life for the better. I can’t say enough good things about the place and the wonderful people that work there. They help you build a foundation for a sober and mentally healthy lifestyle. They focus more on mental health, instead of just sobriety, which is the key to a successful recovery. I learned how to deal with my nearly uncontrollable anxiety and no longer use alcohol as a coping mechanism. I honestly can’t say anything negative about my experience at Synergy. From the peaceful setting, to all the activities that help you relax and focus on yourself, to the amazing food and everything in between, my time there was enjoyable and truly life changing. They have built something special at that place and I can’t recommend it enough. Don’t waste your borrowed time and money at another lower class facility. This is the place for you.

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Jeff, thank you so much for your kind review. It was so great being able to watch all the hard work you put in and the transition you made in your time here. We wish the best for you on this new path and hope to see you at alumni events!
