i dreaded going into satop as i heard horror stories and was worried i was gonna be made to feel like a terrible person.. after the first day, i was happy to go back with no problem. Jim is the absolute sweetest and doesn’t make you feel low. He encourages you the entire time. Darrell was amazing through my assessment. They’re so knowledgeable and an absolute hoot to be around! i would recommend this satop place to any and everybody. you guys do so well and do amazing at being supportive.

Phenomenal care team. I only wish I'd found them when I first moved here. This office has taken the time to understand me and my health in ways that have led to drastic improvements in my quality of life. There are not enough pauses that I can sing for Dr. Ellis and his team. I was in SSDI when I first joined his practice. Now, I've been able to hold down a job with the same corporation for over 5 years now.

Dr. Ellis is a wonderful doctor. He listens with an open mind. I feel he is genuine with my current health, medications, conditions and is keeping an eye on my health as I age. He will explain ALL options, make suggestions and listen to my feedback. The staff is friendly and I enjoy the nurses for Dr. Ellis and NPR Tisha Joplin. I checked myself into the Cox North treatment center about 2010. Got set up on Suboxone. Unfortunately I ended up getting fired before I could finish the treatment and had to get off it all by myself. And I was on 24 mg a day three pills. I wish I'd have been on 2 mg a day. When I tried winning it down myself I realized 2 mg a day was keeping the problems away if you know what I mean. But it does work! Your poop's going to be pretty loose for a long time if you were on opiates but Imodium will help LOL anyways don't give up people!

The best people work there and help you get through your sobriety and getting through a lot of getting used skills coping skills in place before your done with the class you will know how to cope with stress and learn not to lean on alcohol

True Self Recovery is the best! I’ve been to several rehabs but not one like this. The people that work there truly care. Tiffany was such a blessing, she went out of her way to help me and was always just a phone call away! My house managers Amy and Carson were absolutely amazing and have became like family to me! Ella and Jody and Gena go out of there way to connect with everyone on personal levels. If you truly want help and want to learn a better way of life, this is the place to go. It’s not like any other rehab I’ve ever been too. I will stay connected with them forever. They all have a special place in my heart and I’m truly grateful!

I truly cannot say enough good things about this facility. From the moment I arrived, I felt loved, cared for, heard, and supported. The staff, RAs, therapists, and my peers all played such an important role in making my experience what it was, and I will forever be grateful for each and every one of them. I flew from Alabama and there is no other place I would rather go. This is honestly one of the best recovery centers in the country.
Heidi, in particular, had such an impact on me. She quickly became one of my favorite people there, and I genuinely cannot put into words how much I value her. She made me feel seen, cared about, and understood during moments when I really needed it. She was more than someone just doing their job.
The therapists here are truly out of this world. I was thankful to share my time there with Shae. She is a kick ass therapist who helped heal me in so many way. They genuinely care about each individual person there. I always felt listened to and understood, and I never felt like just another patient.
The facility itself is beautiful, peaceful, and feels like a place where you can actually heal. The director is such a warm-hearted soul who genuinely cares about every single individual who walks through those doors. You can feel how much heart and thought she has put into creating such a beautiful place for people to come and heal. Synergy I truly thank you for everything you did for me. I came here at a point when I needed help more than ever, and I’m leaving with a completely different outlook on myself, my life, and my future!

Well, I’ve been with BHG in Joplin for 10 years now, and I really couldn’t ask for a better place to get real treatment.
I’m from California, been on methadone on and off for 30 years. This time I’ve been on it straight since 2008. I moved to Arkansas in 2017 and chose BHG to do my treatment. I’m so happy I chose BHG, it’s honestly the best clinic I’ve ever been to. Ever.
My counselor Nancy is the most amazing beautiful soul I’ve met in my life. She is a blessing to me and to the clinic. Every one of her patients love her.
The nurses are so sweet and respectful. I have been to so many clinics where the nurses are rude, disrespectful and right down mean. That’s not the case at BHG. I love these nurses. It’s literally a joy to go pick up my medication, I always look forward to seeing the nurses and getting my 5 minutes of chat time with them. These ladies are never rude, even when having a bad day, they all keep their smile and always are respectful. Lisa is an amazing director, (I think that’s what her title is, lol. I’m an old lady so please forgive me if I’m wrong) Lisa is a wonderful young lady, I just adore her.
The doctor is one of my favorite people on earth. Every year at my physical, she makes me laugh so much. She is a compassionate and funny soul, and genuinely cares about her patients.
BHG truly is the best clinic to go to for real treatment. Every one who works there is so kind and supportive. They really care how you’re doing. And they are there for you when you’re not doing so well. You can’t get better treatment anywhere else.

I'm glad I didn't let the bad reviews keep me from getting help with the Burrell Connection Center. Went in at 1pm and was through the initial process of checking insurance, getting basic information about the visit and scheduling with an evaluator within the hour. Everyone was very nice and made the process very easy. Already did an at home telehealth visit with the evaluator by 3 and then got a call from a scheduler before 5. I'm very impressed. Thanks Laura Adam's and everyone else for making this process easy for us 🙏

Only for the fact the switchboard operator tabby is the only person who has gone above and beyond for me . Otherwise getting answers , asking for a transfer of psych dr it was sent to the wrong department and all anyone wanted to do was not answer or call back I went from 60mg of Prozac to nothing for 3 weeks because of a mistake in their end. But I was referred to crisis because I was crying for any one to understand
