We ve gone here for a long time, only because my kids get excited to come. They had great service and did really well with the kids for dental work. Now, Dr Bhatt, the 3rd or 4th dentist we ve had, refuses to give my 3-7 year old kids any pain medicine or numbing shots before she drills in their teeth. All because of what she said saves time and money . Please keep your small children away, at least until they get rid of this dentist too and go on to the next one. Im not sure what changed recently, but there s plenty of other dentists in the world that will care.

First off, I have been through 2 doctors, and 2 therapists there. They get to know me, I get to know them, I get comfortable with them, and then they call and say, hey you gotta see someone else. My biggest problem, is I took my 10 year old to the dental side, and Dr. Bahatt, said she had a really bad infection and needed antibiotics immediately! We saw her at 2pm, she didn t call it in until the next day! I even called that evening and she said, oh sorry, been busy, I ll do it right now. Nope, didn t get it until the next day. That s absolutely ridiculous to tell someone that, and then with hold the one thing that can help! It s beyond disgusting. Plus she was very rude!

Accepted Insurance

Macoupin County Recovery Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
Intervention services helps family or friends of addicts stage an intervention, which is a meeting in which loved ones share their concerns and attempt to get an addict into treatment. Professional intervention specialists can help loved ones organize, gather, and communicate with an addict. They can guide intervention participants in describing the damage the addict's behavior is causing and that outside help is necessary to address the addiction. The ideal outcome of an intervention is for the addict to go to rehab and get the help they need.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Illinois is designed to help people recover from addiction to a number of substances. The length of each program and its intensity tend to vary, and the plan of care is based on your individual needs.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT) is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy meant to be short-term and comprehensive. It was intended to help clients become more self-sufficent and move forward without the need for expensive, ongoing therapy. It includes an emotional self-help method called “rational self-counseling,” the purpose of which is to give clients all the skills needed to handle future emotional issues by themselves, or with significantly less professional help.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Today was my son’s very first dental visit, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care we received. Amanda was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding—especially considering my son has some sensory sensitivities. She took the time to explain everything to him step by step, which helped ease his nerves and made the experience smooth and positive. From start to finish, Amanda was a true pleasure to be around. You can genuinely see that she loves what she does and treats both kids and adults with kindness and respect. Thank you so much, Amanda, for making his first visit such a great one!

If it's between going here and not getting counseling at all, you're better off just not getting counseling. Sandra was so judgmental during my little sister's counseling that my sister left in tears and said she doesn't feel comfortable opening up to counselors anymore because of how she was treated.

This place is nothing but Medicaid fraud. The office manager caused my treatment to take 8 months longer than it should have which then caused me facial disfigurement and the physicians there don't care. They plan for that to cause you physical injury. I'm stuck with the biggest joke for dentures for the next 5 years all because I'm on Medicaid I received a substandard of care and they have damaged my face, my voice and my ability to eat. Anyone else get useless ventures, contact me it is Medicaid fraud, they get paid up front for medical devices you can never use and they know it. Class action suit specifically naming the office manager is underway. Sign up now. We have former nurses as witnesses that this is deliberate. Get copies of your medical records constantly they falsify records. Oct 2024. Update They kicked me out before they fitted useless dentures, they have officially refused to correct refund or repair them. And they do this the refusal as policy. to refuse to correct a medical device you caused to be made incorrectly and be okay with leaving their patient in that position is not a qualified doctor nor a caring human being. Illinois civil code provides that they cannot take money from a government agency for a specific device and not give specifically what they were paid to do. They blame the denture lab off site. I still blame them because they keep working with a substandard lab if that's the case. This happened because the manager who is not a doctor ignore the doctors treatment plan and put my health at Great risk. And she does it to get more Medicaid patients through faster everyday and get paid up front, because they make Medicaid patients sign a paper a month before they get their teeth saying they will take them no matter what, and I think that relieves them of responsibility for what they were paid for! They made mention of that signature several times during the year and a half before the dentures. And that is what they are sticking to now because they had no intention of giving me a proper device because I'm Medicaid. If anyone else had the same problem and is suffering, I already have over 89 names and a tort attorney at work. Dentures never fitted them in my mouth so they never gave me any standard of care, and when they tried to put the upper plate in my mouth I cried because it hurt and they immediately kicked me out and banned me. They didn't even provide a case for their devices as is their practice. Do not get dental care here do not let them hurt you! You can find better places to you use your medical card than this!! In the pictures of the two dentures the one on the left is the one Maple Street provided me the one on the right is the first one I ever had and it fits perfectly. I told the doctor this too she refused to look at it to make sure she got the teeth right to make me look like a normal human being, didn't even care about that. And the manager had the nerve to try to get between myself and my grandson as we left. Medical professionals do not get personal with patience. She did not care whether I lived or died, or cried or ever ate again, she has no right to even speak to my child or tell me what to do. Beware! Medicaid transport both meridian and Blue Cross failed to pick me up and take me to dentist appointments three times and gave no excuse and because of this the manager of Maple Street arbitrarily cancel my doctor's treatment plan and caused what you see in those pictures to now be in my medicine cabinet for 5 years. If she's done this to anyone else please reach out to me. It's an ethical violation and could be construed as physical violence. You'll get treatment here but they don't care if they do it right just as long as they get paid up front and do something. Because they're going to make your medical records say whatever they want, former employees have testified to the record altering. this is the county health department! They should not be under contract with Medicaid, should never be paid up front, stick to immunizations. DO NO HARM
