Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Inpatient rehab programs are geared toward clients in early recovery. They also provide intensive support for clients in crisis and those at an increased relapse risk. Clients receive housing and meals while in inpatient care, allowing them to focus solely on their recovery. Most programs prioritize addiction counseling but may draw on various psychotherapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, RBT, trauma therapy, and motivational interviewing. Life skills training and holistic therapies are also common in inpatient care.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive outpatient programs offer high-level care for clients as an increased risk of relapse, including those in early recovery, those with a strong history of relapse, and those experiencing a crisis. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in nine to 20 hours of care weekly, with treatment modalities that combine psychotherapy and recovery education, and holistic therapies, such as acupuncture and animal therapy. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is also common in alcohol and/or opioid recovery.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs are based on a model of continuing care and the premise that recovery is a life-long process requiring ongoing client support. Many rehab aftercare services include outpatient care, but clients often continue to receive support after being discharged from formal treatment. Case managers and care teams typically collaborate with clients to design their long-term care plan, which may include peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction, among other services.
12-step icon12-Step
12 step programs promote participants' sustained sobriety through rigorous and ongoing peer coaching and personal spiritual growth. Participants routinely attend 12 step meetings, which are available multiple times per day, 365 days per year in most communities. This ensures that those in recovery have prompt access to the structure and support they need when they need it. These programs use spiritual precepts to address the root causes of addiction and encourage compassion, self-awareness, forgiveness, accountability, and acceptance.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Residents of a sober living home in Texas reside at the halfway house with others who have agreed to abstain from substances and practice sober-living skills. The relationships and accountability formed here can help individuals strengthen their mental health and achieve long-term recovery. Residents share common spaces such as kitchens and back yards, share meals together, and share household responsibilities such as cooking and cleaning.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
A drug intervention in Texas may be necessary if your loved one is in denial about a substance use disorder. You can partner with intervention services to plan and execute an effective intervention that educates your loved one about addiction and encourages them to get the treatment they need. Many rehab centers offer intervention specialists who can facilitate the intervention and help with a seamless transition to inpatient rehab for treatment.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. Linden Oak's Addiction Services unit is a separate area within Linden Oaks Hospital that offers treatment for those undergoing withdrawal as they stop the cycle of addiction. Patients are detoxified under the care of a psychiatrist, and their staff has specialized training to provide the medication, monitoring and support needed during the withdrawal process.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Peer support is an important aspect of group therapy sessions for drug and alcohol addiction. As you and your peers share stories and encourage each other, it fosters a sense of community and belonging that helps you process your feelings and reduces the sense of isolation that is associated with addiction.

Individual therapy offers you a confidential space to address the complexities of your drug or alcohol addiction. Your therapist guides these personalized sessions to help develop self awareness and manage stress. This promotes sustained sobriety and overall well being.

Couples therapy helps couples learn to control emotions, trust each other, and communicate more effectively. It can be useful for short term intervention for a specific issue or for working on the relationship long term.

The purpose of family therapy is to create a supportive and understanding family dynamic within the family unit. Therapists help individual members to identify and change harmful behavior patterns and improve communication. This provides a stable foundation for the family and their loved one's recovery.

The best clinic ever. My journey was great here. My counselor was absolutely amazing. Love her so much.

What should Meagan apologize for? The doctor calling Meagan a liar ? The doctor calling me a bad person when she's never met me ? The doctor ruining her "therapeutic relationship" even though Meagan hasn't seen that doctors face inside the building since sign-up 6 months ago ? The doctor not giving a proper legal-notice on Thursday about meagans inability to dose there on Friday ( obligatory ) ? The doctor playing favorites & drawing conclusions solely based off unconfirmed bias instead of checking the camera footage? The doctor failing to put her signature on a guest dose document knowing she needed to on Friday ? The doctor not opening the door on Monday ? The doctor lying about the statements she told Meagan even though we have proof otherwise contrary to her claims ? The doctor claiming to care about her patients and then not following up on the weekend to make sure she's okay even though she overdosed on Sunday due to the doctors failure as a clinic to give a legal guest dose ? The doctors failure to hire competent counselors that can file the insurance properly/ not forge illegal medical documents * COUGH NATALIE *.. The doctor withholding Meagan illegally under false pretenses & duress claiming she had to fill out a complaint form inside the clinic whilst simultaneously stalling time while another of her staff ( the fake Christian at the front with the rat dogs running around the clinic ) misused 911 on tuesday/wednesday/thursday trying to get me arrested after the doctor falsely claimed her staff didn't tell me I couldn't wait outside in the parking lot ? Hey Doc- ever heard of entrapment ? The doctor claiming I threatened someone's life without any proof of such a bad claim isn't legal for discharge. Especially since you gave no attempt at contacting Meagan on Friday morning or Thursday afternoon to let her know she wouldn't be allowed to dose there. Big no-no. Silly. I'm gonna need the names of the staff the doctor claimed witnessed the assault outside in the parking lot from those two patients. Can't wait to see your "proof" I threatened someone's life. Too funny. Enjoy your 6 months of HIPAA violations of me standing at the dosing window everyday that youre about to answer for. Thanks for letting me know Doc. Actually you can thank Celeste for letting me know that you told her I was violating HIPAA. Cute hear-say. Can't wait to run those tapes back in court Doc- we will see who's lying. See how your little game of telephone holds up in a judicial setting. You picked the wrong one. Kid. My Lawyer will be contacting you. Too easy honestly. Tell that lesbian with the grey hair that Cheryl and I were laughing at her ignorant assumption she made... "stop harassing our patients" lmfao- Cheryl is my friend. How awkward for you. Maybe if you weren't so busy being emotionally tied into your ignorance as a counselor you'd have a sound mind enough to realize that & not made a fool of yourself. This is just off the top of my head LOL... made this in ~ 5 minutes. You'll be apologizing to us by the end of this. Clueless. Immature. Unprofessional. Illegal. Such an easy Lawsuit. Thank you for being an example. ~ A Bad Person

I've been going here for about 3 weeks now (I'm on the methadone program btw) and this place is really great, I'm honestly so glad I found this place! I have been on opiates for about 7 years now, I started out doing heroin and about 3 years ago I switched to doing fentanyl, which I had to do every single day because the withdrawals were unbearable, which has been absolute hell. In the past 7 years I have been to rehab probably over 20 times and every single time I would do really well when I was in the rehab (I would be very positive, completely ready to get sober, and very optimistic about my future) but once that 30 days was up and I was forced to leave and basically just thrown back out into the real world I would always eventually relapse (sometimes very quickly). And I realized the reason why that would happen was because its very easy to stay sober in rehab, but the rehabs can't keep you sober once you leave, that's really just up to you, and that's when the real hard work starts. Since I started using the longest I have ever been able to stay sober has been 6 months, and the only reason why I got that long was because I went to rehab for 30 days, then the rehab's outpatient program for another month, and then I went straight to sober living. And all of that was VERY expensive (even with health insurance), and I still ended up relapsing because I wasn't truly ready to get sober (I was just doing it for other people). But rehab just isn't an option for me anymore (I lost my health insurance), so that's why I decided to give methadone a try this time, and I am so glad that I did! Because I realized that really I don't need rehab to get sober, because I already know everything they're gonna tell me in there, so now I'm just skipping that expensive little bubble that rehab is (where it just gives you false hope and makes you think that being sober is easy), and instead start the whole process out in the real world. Also when talking to the doctor here she helped me realize that this is a way better method of getting sober because I've been told before that it takes 6 months-2 years for your brain chemistry to get back to normal once you get sober, and that's why the doctor here suggests you to stay on the methadone for at least 1 year, because methadone also helps with the drug cravings, so staying on it while your brain chemistry is still recovering gives you a good safety net and some extra help when you are gonna need it the most. Another thing I really like about this place is they drug test you once a month but if you fail the drug test, and they see that you've gotten high, they won't kick you off the program (but passing the drug test/staying sober does get you benefits, because you will start getting take home doses, which means you don't have to come to the clinic every day anymore, so now you have incentive to stay sober). But I really like that they won't just kick you off the program because I know better than anyone that relapse is sometimes just part of the process, and most addicts will usually relapse for their first few attempts at getting sober, so it is so nice that they realize this and will still give another chance. In the past I tried Suboxone maintenance and even though it was helping me I ended up relapsing, so when I went back the next month and I failed their drug test, they kicked me off the program, so of course I went right back to using heroin all the time. It's really hard to get sober, so if you work with addicts you need to be willing to give them another chance if they mess up, because even though they relapsed at least they're wanting to give sobriety another try. Which is better than them just giving up on sobriety (which they might do if you just punish them for messing up, I know I have before). Not too long ago I thought I would never be able to get sober, but now I am sober and feeling better than I have felt in years! Thank you so much MAT Texas!! You have given me this opportunity, I wouldn't even be able to turn my life around without being on the methadone program!

This is a place where literal MIRACLES happen. No joke, this place is actually one of the , if not THE BEST, resource for getting your addictions under control. Don't think this is only an "opiate" users option, this place is made for anybody that is at a point where your habits are unmanageable. If you like people, this place has the best. If you like counseling, this place has the best. Do you need structure on your life? Just going every day, will make you begin to feel HOPE once again. Also the treatments are as varied as the people needing them. This isn't just a "business" ,all the people are friends and know one another and even the lady at the front desk, her smile and the way she interacts with the clients. It isnt even necessary but it's nice to be treated with dignity and to be given an actual chance at success with zero judgement and you decide most everything in your treatment plan. This place is just here to give you a hand when needed and to tell you that you will be ok, finally. I can't recommend this place enough.. if only i was aware of this years ago.. maybe i would have gotten myself right along time ago:) anyway my name is Cody, and i hope to see you there getting what you need , and looking like you found HOPE again:)

I cannot express enough my gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care and support I have received from, "M.A.T. Texas," Grand Prairie opioid dependency treatment program. The entire staff is truly dedicated, friendly, and professional, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for each patient. I Feel as though I have found the place where I can continue treatment in comfort , with dignity and faith in my recovery process. I am especially grateful for the outstanding care provided by the clinics amazing physician, Dr. Jessica Robbins. Her compassionate, steward, and friendly approach made transitioning from my previous clinic, "Anti Aging And Longevity" center in Dallas, Texas, an assuring seamless and positive experience. Dr. Robbins's expertise and genuine care have already made a significant impact on my journey to recovery, and I am beyond thankful for her outstanding care.

They don’t care about their patients at all they literally turned my family member away for barely being late & they don’t seem to be worried about anything else but $$

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
I’m so sorry your family member was unable to get treatment one day. We do have to honor the business’ hours as well as the staff’s time, and therefore we close promptly at 12:30 every day. We make every effort to let our patients know this. I hope you will be able to be on time in the future to avoid any further missed doses.
