If a rooster say all chickens are liars is the rooster telling the truth?
There is an article by, David S. who is an alumnus of the Sontx Residential Program. Wrote and published an article called:
"Acceptance Is (Not The Final) Answer"
It's sad that their are individuals who place personality before principals. This article proves it. The individual takes a corner stone in recovery, "Acceptance" and makes a mockery of it by taking the negative points that an individual can take away from it and saying that's all we believe in recovery. Obviously, David has not fully subscribed to recovery yet. All that he accuses those in recovery of believing about acceptance is wrong and only shows his ignorance. I don't choose to subscribe to the thought that all in recovery are as ignorant as David S. However David said "Acceptance is not the answer to all my problems today"!
If David who's in recovery say all in recovery are liars, Is he telling the Truth?
Not interested in referring anyone to this program!

Their are countless of drug treatment programs, and sober living homes out there, but I honestly don't think I would of have gained as much as success as I have now if it wasn't for Solutions of North Texas and their staff. The structure of the program not only thought me what I needed to know about myself as an addict, but enforced greatly the severity of working my Steps as well as working with a sponsor. Now, I myself sponsor others and have placed myself in a position in life I never thought would be achievable. I truly owe a great and big Thank You to the entire staff, specially Cheri for putting up with me, even though I know she is probably crying because I'm gone. It's okay Cheri, I'm in a better place now, and that's thanks to Solutions.

I absolutely love this clinic. They are so nice. This clinic has done everything possible to make the closing of my old clinic 4 yrs ago, so it was seemless and easy. I have stayed because I am completely comfortable. The counselors are so wonderful and nice. The cost is typical. They are even accepting Medicaid and Medicare. I am so happy I was able to transfer. I think I like this clinic the best out of the 3 others I have been to. Thank you Denton Treatment Services. You have been so wonderful.

Do not take your kids here all it just makes everything worse the first time I went there a lot of racism, when they put me in a hold most of the staff sat there and laughed and was cracking jokes at one point in the hold the took of my bandana and laughed I'm a balck girl and one of the things I worry about a lot is my hair when I heard them laughing all I could do was sit there and cry when they were done my whole body was sore they gave me a shot in my hip the rest of the time I was there I was sore and felt sick from that shot and I was there for a week and a day and that happened on the 2nd or 3rd day i was there, I have went there 4 or 5 times every time it was a bad experience and left me with trauma i got to deal with. the most recent I went was about 5 to 6 months ago when I went it was five days and there was this one old lady at first everything started of cool then she started picking on me and my roommate and telling lies on us not even being dramatic she told the the nurse that me and my roommate was bullying two girls I been bullied before and i wouldn't wish that on no one and it wasn't true at all next things i know me and my roommate had to do a packet while she sat there and laughed with the two girls we supposedly were bullying she was letting the girls say stuff to us but when we said something back she would go tell and say we was picking on them when it was all of us girls involved no bullying. Another thing when I went there i had medicine i had to take from a real doctor I kept telling the nurse, my doctor, my therapist, and the staff I can't take these pills on empty stomach I told them more than 10 or more times, i woke up the nurse hands me the pills and I tell her it hurts when I take them on an empty stomach and the doctor said he was going to tell yall, she said he just take them yall are finna go to breakfast so I did because if u dont do what they say they don't care they will keep u another day. So I take the pill I do what we are supposed to do in the morning i start to realize my chest feels tight and my head feels light and im throwing up and as im throwing up my ribs are hurting my chest is the worse so I go out there and the lady that was always telling on me and my roommate and making bad reports on me had the morning shift and some other guy I go out there I asked him nicely 2 times to get the nurse bc I felt like I was finna die they took a while to help me I was 16 I didn't know what was happening to my body so when I realized that the lady that has a problem with me smiling while I was telling them I was in pain and crying I go off and i start screaming that's when like 12 people came in getting ready to hold me down the nurse was in there finally and the gave me more medicine it got rid of my chest pain but the amount of medication they kept giving me on top of the medicine I was already supposed to be taking was making me sick to my stomach, this place in not made for children. there is no reason why the staff should be telling the kids about they're personal life, I was in conversation with some of the staff and including males they were talking to kids about stuff they should've have, these are grown adults this place needs to be shut down the last time I went right when i was finna leave when I was pulling my bed sheets out there was piss I dont piss the bed so where did that come from did yall not wash the sheets before these kids have to sleep on these beds for a week or so and there was also a living spider i guess I was just sleeping with piss and a alive spider like they were my best friends when I saw it I was discussed i went and got my roommate and told her to check her bed, they leave the rooms cold at like 50d or 40d at night and they can only get 2 blankets that's as thin as a sheet and I would wake up with my feet rock hard from It being to cold this place is hell the people there are not trained right the first time they put me on medication I was 14 and they put me on Xanax and I didn't feel like my self at all be careful where yall leave yalls children.

My review is based on my initial interactions with the staff at The Meadows Texas. My decision to choose this program for my Mother was made with complete confidence. The team at The Meadows Texas took time to listen, provided comforting words, gave advice, and explained their program in detail. Mark Degataga (Admissions Specialist) was my initial point of contact when I called to get information and I had already spoken to 9 other companies. He made me comfortable to go into detail about my Mothers struggles and was knowledgeable about the services The Meadows offered. Mark’s passion for the program and detailed information made me feel confident that this program was what we needed for my Mother. Mark stayed in communication with me over the course of 8 days. Answered all my questions and checked in not only on my Mothers progress but to see how I was doing as well. Although the ability to tour the facility was not an option due to privacy of patients, Mark gave a detailed description of the property, rooms, therapy, treatments, and activities that were going to be available throughout the program. Mark’s communication from the initial call all the way through admissions was extraordinary! He even called me to see how I was feeling after my Mom was situated and transported. Brenda Henson (Patient Financial Coordinator) was the second person I spoke to at The Meadows. She was professional and addressed all concerns. Not being able to tour the facility was still something I really wanted to do but understood the privacy of patients is important. I felt like at the very minimum I needed to see the grounds. I drove to The Meadows and had the opportunity to meet and speak with the Executive Director Lori Bachman. At this point I had already narrowed my decision down to 2 places. My conversation with Lori and ongoing communication with Mark made me feel at ease. The grounds were beautiful and Lori’s passion shined through just as Mark’s and Brenda’s did. They were genuine and are truly in this to help patients. Rehabilitation Programs are the initial stepping stones to help individuals start their road towards a better future. I know there is a lot of hard work and dedication that will be needed for ongoing success. I’m excited to see how my Mom will benefit from the treatment and services offered by The Meadows staff. I will post an update once services are completed. Thank you again to Mark, Brenda, and Lori for their compassion and assistance when dealing with a difficult time and helping this be a seamless process.

My pit stop was needed and appreciate the alignment of my life and the brake check moments with my counselor Rowan. You’ve made an impact on my life and thanks again!

Nexus definitely gave me a place to educate and regulate myself daily. I gained many friends and have been touched by staff members such as Lauren, Jasmine, Tristan, Ms.Millie, Stephanie, Isabelle,Mrs.Tammy, and Chad, in ways I will carry with me in lifelong memories. Nexus gave me to the tools I needed in my empty toolbox to allow me to turn the waterfall of sobriety into the stream of recovery. There were a few hiccups in my stay there which is why I will only give 4 stars today. I am genuinely grateful and happy that I went to Nexus and was able to grasp ahold of the horns of courage, the wings of serenity, and the strength of wisdom. I would recommend this place for anyone who is serious about staying sober and has the capacity for tolerance and patience. Thank you to all the amazing staff that helped this wayward sheep find her way back to her heard.

Nexus provided many things I needed for recovery. I was busy all the time and challenged in many helpful ways. It was an overall great experience for an elderly alcoholic trying to get a firm grip on sobriety. Keep in mind, side effects may include lifelong friends and increased self worth.

The people there are so warm, caring, compassionate, helpful, and responsive. They made my child feel so welcome and he absolutely thrived in their program. It was a hugely positive experience from beginning to end and a big thank you to all of the staff, especially Ali, Manal, and Elizabeth! CFD is the best.

Starting this review by saying this is one the best places I've been to. I have never felt loved and cared for by any other place except this one. Manal and maddie are incredible people and have helped me so much they will help you. Ali gage and Elizabeth are amazing directors and therapists too. Although I hated this place in the beginning , I learned its not as bad as I thought. Its so much better compared to erc or children's , if you need help with an eating disorder definitely come here.

This is a great facility and program. The staff is amazing! I took off one star because the billing department at corporate is incompetent. Make sure you are well educated on your insurance coverage and know the financial process at the center ahead of time to avoid stress and frustration.

Fort Worth, TX | Recovery Resource Council in Fort Worth, Texas, provides wellness and recovery services for people struggling with mental health, substance use disorders and problems from traumatic experiences. They focus on helping veterans and their families, chronically homeless adults with co-occurring disorders, and at-risk youth who are dealing with adverse | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Before learning about this place; I had very limited knowledge about what programs I would be qualified for (I’m a veteran) I assumed just the VA (for medical ) and I never gave it much thought past that . Finding out about the RRC has dramatically changed my life for the better; and I’m profoundly grateful. Prior to going there -I had lost my job and was about to be added to the ranks of the newly homeless (Depending on how you define “ homeless” in some people’s eyes, I would’ve already been there. I was staying on the floor of a gym at a church where I would clean every night
in exchange for sleeping there. I was too stubborn to go to a homeless shelter, because the one thing I had left in my life that I had no intention of leaving was my cat. Me and Cleo have been together a long time- she’s my family.
Fast forward almost a year. I have my own car; my own apartment (cat friendly! ) I make a little income online but also searching for a job (it’s hard to maintain a job if you can’t wash your clothes or have a place to stay) RRC didn’t do EVERYTHING for me - But I can honestly say I would not be where I’m at now without them. And although it’s a government agency, I have not met a bad employee from there- My caseworker, Amanda Jones; has went out of her way numerous times to help me-These people care about their clients and they do whatever they can to help them- If you are a veteran and you need help, they should be the first people you call. You won’t regret it.
I can not thank them enough for what they have done for me..
Thank you RRC and Especially AMANDA!!

This facility is caring. The staff listens and the doctors or PA's are incredible. I have been coming here a lot of years. They have not let me down. I really don't know what I would have done without Burke. Probably travelled a lot of miles and not received the help that I needed. My case worker is the BEST. I've been her client for 15 yrs. She has always been there for me. Thank y'all.
