About Valley Hope of Grapevine

Valley Hope Grapevine is located in Grapevine, Texas, and gives their patients hope by bringing drug and alcohol rehab services to them. They provide a full continuum of care with their residential, detox, intensive outpatient, family care, and aftercare services. They have medication assisted treatment to make sure you recover in the safest way possible.

They use holistic methods, too, such as yoga, meditation, vegetable gardening, and outdoor recreational activities to help you recover in a fun and relaxing way. They use 12-step models, which have been proven to help many people in the past, and offer case management services to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for their clients.

Their facility has a full sized gym and workout center for their residents as well as a tennis court, basketball court, and an outdoor sand volleyball and indoor volleyball court. That’s pretty impressive for a rehab center.

They also offer counseling services such as individual therapy, group counseling and family counseling. There is so much here to benefit from and I highly recommend this one. If you’re a veteran, they also have specific veteran services.

Can't really say anything bad about Valley Hope.. I was asked to leave. Never was reprimanded, never told my behaviors were wrong. Very confusing. However, I did reveal some facts.. Per the Joint Commission, per the State of Texas, per insurance .. Valley Hope is required to give so many hours per day of psychotherapy.. When a client receives their hand book it specifically says that they will receive an INDIVIDUALIZED treatment.. After adding everything up and doing research, not only are the clients not receiving the appropriate amount of tangible recovery information.... Or an INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAM. My case manager never scheduled me for an appointment until I spoke to her first, going in to my 4th week there.. Some only met with the case manager onece in 30 days, case managers would take role and not even know people left.... In the big scheme of things Valley Hope is not all bad.. The Nursing staff and PCA',s are great. There are few counselors that are great. The reason I say a few is because there are a few the don't literally have a COUNSELING DEGREE.... I only saw one office with a degree on the wall.... LCDC Liscense yes, most of them... To sum it up Valley Hope is doing the best they can with what they have to work with. I met some really sincere people.. I'm greatful for Valley Hope for what I received. I have to express how greatful I am for the Chaplin I was assigned to.. There IOP program is amazing That was my experience with Valley Hope. If you are new to recovery soak up all you can. Sell out to the 12 steps .. Sponsorship. Aa NA.. Absorb everything VALLEY HOPEhas to offer.. Just be careful when choosing a treatment center.. zits ok to ask for the credentials of people before you go..

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient treatment services allow you to stay at home or continue working while benefiting from a professional treatment program. The frequency and duration of outpatient services, along with the use of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), are based on the amount of support each patient needs.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient program provides treatment over a six-week period that meets three times per week for a minimum of three hours each session. All Valley Hope locations offer evening sessions and many provide sessions during the day. IOP provides individual and group therapy, plus drug and alcohol education. Patients also learn about 12-step philosophy and how it can help them stay on the path to a drug-free life.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
Commonly known as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers intensive addiction treatment while allowing you to return home each day. It can serve as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or as a step-down option. Depending on your needs, PHP treatment typically averages 90 days with a weekly requirement of 6-8 hours a day. PHP treatment offers a variety of therapeutic interventions such as individual counseling, group therapy, and psychoeducation. Oftentimes PHP treatment can be fully covered by insurance.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

During rehab in Texas, you'll deal with underlying issues that contribute to addiction. By addressing these challenges and learning healthy ways to cope with them, you'll develop strategies that help you live a drug-free lifestyle.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Helping families heal and recover together is a cornerstone of outpatient treatment at Valley Hope. Family care is designed to alleviate feelings of guilt, fear and resentment, enabling families to support one another through the recovery process of patients.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Just left the program and I have to admit that, this place would be the absolute best place to seek help, if it were not for the day shift nurses (Bob/ Aisha)... They made my stay there uncomfortable and stressful, to say the least.. other than that, my counselor (Jeff) was exactly what I needed as a counselor, my case manager (Gabby) was sub-par but she did try her best... Ms.Francine is PURE EVIL,she share some personal information with another client and got me pushed out of the program a few days early, so I will be seeking legal counseling for that matter... I'm still happy with Valley Hope as a whole, they just have to get rid of a few bad pieces....

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
