Not proud to admit I have been to treatment several times, but I am proud to admit that valley hope has been an amazing place to go. Staff is amazing from nursing thru administration. The follow up support has been better than my AA sponsor. I would recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction. Everyone in the building calls you by name and it is a personalized plan to get you started on the road to recovery.

As a recovery professional, I’m very intentional about where I refer my clients. Discovery Point Retreat is an excellent facility. I am the custodian of a friend who is in recovery and went here and saw the way they treat the clients is always very friendly, its like you are a part of their own family, especially the RC from Brooklyn, he was a real savior. This place is in high demand for a reason! Try not to be discouraged by the lack of space - there are plenty of good rehabs in the area, but this one tends to stay full most of the time. My case manager, Courtney, has been very helpful in managing my issues in and outside of Riverwalk ranch. I like many of the therapists - I’d say that Richard, Johnny, and Erica (in no particular order) have been most helpful in my recovery. I stayed for 45 days, but 60 and 90 day stays are also available depending on your insurance. 45 days is generally the minimum program length. I only stayed in the detox room for two days, but many people stay for a week or more. The detox room is rather annoying. I can’t speak on the women’s end, but the men’s detox room is right by the main outside door and is often loud. The rooms are rather densely packed so that can get old, but I adjusted to it rather quickly. I’ll give a shoutout to the recovery coaches Bo, Samantha, Sierra, and Taylor. If you come here please treat them well because they deal with a lot! Overall I give this place a 9/10. There could be some stronger structure at times, but I do like the sense of independence you can maintain here relative to other rehabs I’ve been to (just two). Worth it

I will start this review off by giving some information about myself so you can actually get something out of this review and hopefully it will help someone else get their life back on track. I travel 46 weeks out of the year, sometimes my company has to fly me home for a day so I can make an appearance at my home clinic to stay compliant, so I have been to Methadone Clinics all across the United States as a Guest Dose Patient. I can honestly say New Season is one of the good ones. The lady who works up front is super nice And has been nothing but helpful to me. I believe it is $15 a day to pay for your methadone and If you want to go the Suboxone Route they also offer that as well ( I dont remember the cost per day but it is slightly higher than the methadone ) they only serve the liquid methadone ( cherry ) IF you are guest dosing there is a $25 charge, but you only have to pay that once a year. BUT what makes New Season Treatment a good to great clinic in my eyes, is no matter what person you deal with it is always with respect and they seem to actually care about the people they serve . From the Doctor to the Nurse to the Counselors dont have anything bad to say about any of them. I was in quite a predicament at one point in my recovery And I actually was a full time client with New Season and I ended 2 weeks later having to move to Houston And they never treated me differently or made a fuss about the situation just helped me get the transfer to Houston. I would WAY rather have stayed with New Season than my current Home clinic if I'm being %100 honest... I can also say I went to other clinics in the DFW Area and I had a horrible experience at another clinic in Dallas and New Season is my go to for the Dallas / Fort Worth Area.

Every one here is SO NICE! I was looking forward to finally meeting a doctor who could help me. Well, when I met Dr. Dinghra through an iPad and only saw her eyes and nothing more, it felt extremely impersonal. I gave the doctor the benefit of the doubt. As we proceeded to talk she began interrupting me and even worse he started subtly insulting. Complete lack of empathy throughout. She only had his eyes in the frame I had no idea who I was even talking to. I could barely understand her but I definitely understood the insults. She should be fired IMMEDIATELY. Update: The director switched me doctors to Reddy and she was by far way better than Dangra. She is very nice and listened to me.

If it weren’t for MHMR, I wouldn’t be alive today. They have saved my life! Maybe my situation is just different?! I called 988 in July 2024, and they sent 2 regular people to just talk to me. They did not judge or tell me what to do, they listened and were able to get me out of the living environment that was making my grief from my sweet baby brother’s suicide so much worse. I’ve been homeless and was DONE soI took half a bottle of blood pressure pills. Crazy thing because I didn’t even get a good night sleep. So then I was assigned a case worker who was a regular person going to college to get his degree in counseling, who would come and pick me up, take me to my appointments and take me to the pharmacy. It was amazing and it’s because for once I was SHOWN my life was worth living, clearly something my own family would never do. I’ve been at this clinic almost a year and now my social security will finally go through in a few months. They even helped me do my application and soon I will have my own income and will never need help from any family ever again, and THAT feels great. I’m healing a little and none of this could have happened without MHMR. I’m just so grateful & this place does great work if you’re very direct and honest about what you need.

These nurses work so hard and truly care about the disease of addiction and recovery. The personalities the nurses have is what makes coming to medmark so great. The second part to my 5 star review is for the absolutely amazing chemical dependency counselors that work here day in and day out with some having over 40 or more clients on there caseload, these counselors; Myrtle, Ken, among others work so hard to advocate for you as a patient on this program. The first person you'll meet upon entering Medmark clinic is front office manager Mrs. Phyllis who has worked for Medmark for nearly 10 years, Mrs. Phyllis will absolutely make your day and have you smiling 😃. Mrs. Gwen who is the clinic financial officer who oversees patients bills is a fine individual as well and cares that the patients are receiving the best possible care while at the clinic. You will absolutely love and appreciate our clinic medical director ( Dr. Kurz ) Dr. Kurz has so much medical knowledge and true compassion for everyone of Medmark's clients, she has a deep genuine concern for each of us and I am so thankful to have Dr. Kurz here at Fort Worth Medmark. This clinic and program has saved my life; yes there can be some fear and apprehension about Methadone; but when compared to the alternative drugging life style; Methadone by all means returns you to a normal working citizen back in society, no more of days on end of chasing drugs and wondering where to get your next fix or how to pay for that fix; those days come to an end and stop the day you decide you've had enough of the drug seeking lifestyle that we we're all living. I've been with this clinic ever since Medmark took over ownership in May of 2011. I've seen my share of clinic directors come and go at Medmark, there's been some awesome directors in my time, but my one ⭐️ Review for the end of this review is for the unprofessional unethical clinic director we now have who's name is Sharron; Mrs. Sharron is by far the worst clinical treatment director Medmark has had in my 15 years at this clinic. The directors ways of treating both staff and clients is so poorly that i wouldn't treat a dog that way. Don't get me wrong; Medmark is a great clinic; it's just corporate Medmark needs to seriously hire a new treatment director who will work together building the employees up as well as the clients. When a treatment center has a director who spends her day; ( that is when she is there ) in a closed office and does not get to know the patients who provide Mrs. Sharron a paycheck and works overtime to breakdown her staff and employees and bring division between staff clients and herself; THEN IT'S HELL TIME FOR MEDMARK TO GET A NEW DIRECTOR. since this director has been here; Medmark Fort Worth has gone down hill !!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Mrs. Sharron has caused more amazing counselors to leave Medmark for other treatment places, she has also caused so many clients to leave and find other treatment programs !! 🤬🤬🤬. My pray and hope is that the Medmark powers to be will see this and investigate and terminate Mrs. Sharron from her director position AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !!

Whoa things been changing lately for the better it looks like!! Such good energy in there now, good friendly vibes. Doesn’t feel like a line assembly or that they don’t care. They’re even offering group counseling now which I think is really great!! I can tell since they got that new director lady with the cool dreads I think her name Sharin. Sadd to hear bout Miss Jacqui but she is in a better place. They got another girl to replace Miss Jacqui rest in peace Miss Jacqui. But so far this new supervisor seem really attentive and as though she really listenin. I hear a couple more counselors leavin but honestly they gotta get on. It’s already gotten better n I think it will keep on. Just takes time sometime. So far I’m impressed 5 stars big improvement

I have only positive thoughts about Chapter House. My son has been there the last 10 months until his recent transfer. Last year was the most difficult time for him (and us). Doug and Marty were fantastic. They get to know their clients and are really dialed into each of their challenges. My son has been in many treatment facilities the last 6 years and I can tell you he made the most progress at Chapter House, he is the most stable that he has been in years. Chapter House is more than a Sober Living facility, they have much more safeguards and work more closely with the clients, more so than other facilities he has been to. I plan to stay in contact with Doug (Director Oper.) who really developed a great relationship with my son (and myself), he has a great heart and is so committed to his people.

My son recently went there !! Sure wish they would have put him here in the beginning of his sentence!! He spent 6 months in Kyle correctional center!!! Staff care and work hard to help. Groups are focused on individuals needs as well as the whole group. They encouraged us to learn and grow from each other's successes and even failures. When I struggled they accommodated me and helped me with the extra help I needed. They also find services for additional help or higher level of care if needed. Side note: I noticed a lot of the negative reviews were for inpatient and children's services this location in Plano doesn't even offer at this time or never offered. I'm assuming many of the people were looking for the main hospital in Carrollton to review and made a mistake.

They support you as long as you communicate and even catch when you don’t clearly communicate with words. They are quick, efficient and not just for the money. 10/10 totally recommend this for treatment mentally. Update: I just clipped my nails with a nail trimmer for the first time in my life. I’ve been to over 20 different inpatient stays, and Carrollton springs is by far my favorite Inpatient program. Great staff, great food, great experience. 10/10. They’re more than happy to help in active crisis. Special shout out to Dr. B, who saw my symptoms, quickly and accurately assessed me and got my meds regulated. I feel soooo much better, I feel and act like myself again. I really appreciate it and so do my loved ones. Happy to be back functioning again! ☺️

This place is terrible .. the doctor doesn’t see patients in a reasonable time … seems like they don’t have an on call doctor or their refusing to call… patient has not been given meds and was needing them to correct an imbalance … because they are refusing to be helpful the patient is suffering cold withdrawal affects and they are telling them to just deal with it … staff have attitude and don’t listen, this place I thought was suppose to help people, more like they want to make people suffer

My Aunt was inpatient at Texas Rehab hospital for 10 days after a fall resulting in a broken hip with surgical repair. She was treated respectfully, her pain managed, and when she was discharged - her Home Health was set up and follow up appointments made. What a difference in her recovery!

Starting this review by saying this is one the best places I've been to. I have never felt loved and cared for by any other place except this one. Manal and maddie are incredible people and have helped me so much they will help you. Ali gage and Elizabeth are amazing directors and therapists too. Although I hated this place in the beginning , I learned its not as bad as I thought. Its so much better compared to erc or children's , if you need help with an eating disorder definitely come here.
