Accepted Insurance

Zinnia Healing Miami works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

If a person with a substance use disorder continually denies their problem or refuses to get treatment, a drug intervention in Florida may be necessary. Intervention services can help mediate the intervention by providing an addiction expert. This professional can de-escalate situations and facilitate a healthier discussion between the individual and their loved ones. Specialists can also help families handle issues they don't know how to navigate on their own.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Rehab aftercare programs are a collection of highly individualized services designed to promote long-term recovery. These services evolve as your needs change. Case managers and recovery teams typically begin formulating the rehab aftercare service plan early in the recovery process to facilitate your reintegration back into the home, workplace, and community.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

The first step of the recovery process involves the removal of all drugs and alcohol from your system while under 24/7 medical supervision. Known as a medically assisted detox, you are closely monitored by medical staff who can provide medications, if necessary, to help alleviate any potential withdrawal symptoms. Medical detox is usually followed by a period of inpatient addiction treatment.

12-step icon12-Step

12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image

LGBTQ Program

Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Clinical Services

Therapists who apply cognitive behavioral therapy in Florida believe patient thoughts and behaviors are closely linked. They use this treatment method to help clients change their thought patterns so they can also change behaviors and break free from substance abuse.

During family therapy sessions, you navigate the complexities of addiction and are provided tools to help improve communication and resolve conflicts. When you work together, families can better support their loved one's recovery and restore balance and harmony within the household.

Group therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for people in Florida who are struggling with drug addiction. There you can openly discuss the challenges and progress you're making without fear of judgment from your peers who experience many of the same things you are.

Individual therapy often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This is a structured approach to identifying and changing negative thought patterns. During therapy you learn how what you think drives your actions so you can develop healthier coping strategies to manage addiction triggers and reduce drug use.

Angela was the best tech and driver. She always took time to listen to me when I was down and out. If it wasn't for her I'd still be on the street. She helped me to learn how to love myself. I'm eternally greatful for Harbor Village.

WENSTER cannot give me the words that are appropriate and fitting for this.. run down, understaffed, FILTHY, HIPPA laws consistently broken. For example: Person comes in- "intake" get to call "home" that is the safety call promised. Then they (whichever person is closest:) take your bags. Allow personal hygiene, clothing- AFTER it gets ....sterilized. I have known for some time I wasnt getting the adult lessons - I just dont follow the hurl into dryer with whatever they put on it (if anything). Oh... it gets better: No phone. Except on certain days if you get to a "level" in your program. Not sure their point system is stable or static. Mostly is the person that stays so far up someone's butt they can see clearly. At this time, there is closed doors in the small amd cramped tech office. It really means nothing in reality - they really do NOT care who hears your ss#, DO, address. Or just personal information about family - the usual items. Sign sign sign sign away. Oh also confirm insurance information because they have e racket up over $2500 in JUST urinalysis, and I only went ....... twice. There is next to nothing to do. Groups are lead with inadequacy and the inability to actually read others, most of that place probably should look elsewhere. I ended up at Village Harbor to get off of my medications, quit drinking 4/30/22, I have been of service and will continue. The 3rd day I was there- they OD'D me! Had to call 911 and that alone... im so glad I was sleeping alot. Pneumonia was there accordingly to the doctor, I cannot say with certainty. The entire building is grungy. The tables and counters /cases are wiped down, almost daily... not by staff. [Sucks teeth] and: "Dat aint my job" The men's dorms have rat and roach infestation and that is very concerning because they have to come into the building with the women for meals,, snacks, play pool. (Not much was being played. Table was worn slap out 20-25 years ago? The food is kept under Lock and key. I have never seen or heard of a detox that didnt keep any food out, snacks and they include /accommodate requests. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.. I refused to eat ANY of their meals. I ate cereal bars, applesauce and fruit, that was a rare occasion. There is nothing here that has shown "ME" - I do not speak on others behalf, that recovery is fun. It is possible. I have been to hundreds of meetings, well more than that. However, the 12 or so times I've been asked to share my life story- I do it , not for the attention- and there is usually that 1+ people that my words could help. Ive ran H&I in numerous locations to a wide variety of people. Everyone has a background, not just a backpack with an insurance card. THE HAVEN DETOX and their TRT / THE RECOVERY TEAM are the ones that set us out for success. They offer assistance, guidance, you ACTUALLY get to meet with the counselor 1-2 times a week. The insanely GREAT groups and staff their are so Phenomenal- it is really inspiring. It's interactive. It's fun music and art therapy. Not here. Ask yourself: if your loved one went and they actually didn't get the help when od'd... it's just too late. The list goes on and on , however, I am not sitting out side chainsmoking cigarettes which that is 98% of the time. Ask for referrals from folks that you know. Read ALL of the reviews, I can only share my side - I am unsure of what anyone else believes. Take care and God Bless!
