Accepted Insurance

Zinnia Healing Miami works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

If a person with a substance use disorder continually denies their problem or refuses to get treatment, a drug intervention in Florida may be necessary. Intervention services can help mediate the intervention by providing an addiction expert. This professional can de-escalate situations and facilitate a healthier discussion between the individual and their loved ones. Specialists can also help families handle issues they don't know how to navigate on their own.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Rehab aftercare programs are a collection of highly individualized services designed to promote long-term recovery. These services evolve as your needs change. Case managers and recovery teams typically begin formulating the rehab aftercare service plan early in the recovery process to facilitate your reintegration back into the home, workplace, and community.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

The first step of the recovery process involves the removal of all drugs and alcohol from your system while under 24/7 medical supervision. Known as a medically assisted detox, you are closely monitored by medical staff who can provide medications, if necessary, to help alleviate any potential withdrawal symptoms. Medical detox is usually followed by a period of inpatient addiction treatment.

12-step icon12-Step

12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image

LGBTQ Program

Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Clinical Services

Therapists who apply cognitive behavioral therapy in Florida believe patient thoughts and behaviors are closely linked. They use this treatment method to help clients change their thought patterns so they can also change behaviors and break free from substance abuse.

During family therapy sessions, you navigate the complexities of addiction and are provided tools to help improve communication and resolve conflicts. When you work together, families can better support their loved one's recovery and restore balance and harmony within the household.

Group therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for people in Florida who are struggling with drug addiction. There you can openly discuss the challenges and progress you're making without fear of judgment from your peers who experience many of the same things you are.

Individual therapy often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This is a structured approach to identifying and changing negative thought patterns. During therapy you learn how what you think drives your actions so you can develop healthier coping strategies to manage addiction triggers and reduce drug use.

I want to express my consent about Harbor Village. I am not hiding, I was in this facility last month. Since September 11 until October 6. First I want to express my gratitude for the nurses team, group facilitators and techs. All of them are amazing doing their jobs with a really bad conditions. It’s supposed to be for every 7 clients 1 tech, well, we were more than 20 and only 1 tech. The people that owe this place most being new people dealing with this type of facilities. Because I can’t understand how it’s possible that a place that was to good in the past right now is fighting to be in the last position in the whole country. They don’t take care of the food, is nasty. Is rotten food, I remember on Friday, October 3 , they gave us a turkey burger. When I opened all the guacamole was bad, smelling like rotten avocado and completely black. I walk to talk with the person that was serving and told her, all of us had to discard our lunch. At the beginning there was 2 option of your choice. At the end just one. When you are making the interview by phone they tell you that it will be always snacks. That’s a liar. All the place is nasty. They promise to go to the beach, bowling, going out to restaurants, jet ski. That’s all is not true at all. The only reward you are going to get in a whole week is 2 times 30 min phone time. But only if you going to groups, all of them, but the group facilitators don’t have the resources necessaries to make those groups. I was fighting for my rights all the time. They promise to go to the beach. They promise to do other things that help you when you are in treatment. When you are in detox the said: when you are in residential you will be allowed to make some activities out of here. You are not allowed to play music in the community, not allowed to watch tv in the commun area, the soda machine is all empty all the time. If you are lucky there is only sprite 2 days a week. The coffee it’s not enough for too many people. Snacks at night time it’s olways the same, no variation: peanut butter sandwich, chips and 1 cookie. We were 5 days in a row eating chicken wrap… that was the only option. People get mad because that’s like a prison. They want us medicaded and sleeping. The clients have to clean because in 1 month I only saw a woman cleaning the dorms. If you ask something they pass the ball. Always. Exemple: today we are going to the beach? You have to ask case manager, you go to ask: they said; you have to ask the therapist: you go to the therapist: you have to ask the techs, you go to techs: and they said: we are understaff or we don’t have transportation or we don’t have funds. But the clients are waiting all the week, going to groups, doing all things good and in the back all the staff told you: you are not going to the beach on weekends if you don’t go to the groups… so. Is insane. Right now I am in other place. We have an amazing groups session with all the resources. We have excursions, we have phone time, once a week came meds and make us stretching, we have yoga, massage. The food is the best. And it’s the same quantity that my insurance pays for me. So… this is my first experience making a treatment. But believe me… harbor village… I don’t recommend at all.

Angela was the best tech and driver. She always took time to listen to me when I was down and out. If it wasn't for her I'd still be on the street. She helped me to learn how to love myself. I'm eternally greatful for Harbor Village.
