If I could give ten stars I would. I don’t remember most of my stay here at the hospital but I have no complaints at all. When a facility saves your life all the small stuff don’t matter anymore. I will always have respect for this hospital they saved my life my children get to keep there Mom because of the care and life saving measures given by the doctors and staff here. The doctors are extremely smart and all the nurses were very kind to me. I appreciate the care given to me thank you guys so very very much!

My father was brought in to the icu here while 98% of the nurses and doctors were very very nice. the communication here is terrible 6 days after being in the in the icu they wanted to discharge him before even talking to his VA care giver or having a plan other than well your 80 yr old mother can watch him The charge nurse and Dr Raji on the 8th floor are very manipulative and degrading to families basically as soon as they see a window of opportunity to discharge a patient they will do everything they can to get that done, the nurse Laura basically told my mom that her family should stop what they’re doing and come help, then when I asked about his VA care she basically told me that all VA facilities in the are area are the lowest point of health care and my father would probably die if he went to one Next while I was questioning Raji about therapy care plans he apparently didn’t like the fact I was too much trouble or too big of a problem. So he goes behind our backs and talks my mother into bring my dad home with no other plan than well the family can help out until you figure it out. This is Thadascare in a nutshell I do want to praise the nurses and icu people that truly care about their patients but once your out of icu I feel your just a paycheck and the next patient needs to get in This is crap especially when the patient has very good health care benefits also don’t let them fool you into thinking they are talking to anyone other than internal staff (possibly not even that) if you have VA or such at no point was anyone in touch with my dads VA officer until we started pressing the issue All of this happened in 6 days when I went home on a Tuesday after spending 5 hrs at the hospital the general consensus from the dietitian, physical therapist and nurses was to recommend a couple weeks of rehab 4 hrs later they wanted to discharge him home Hmmmmm think about this before bringing a patient here Laura I hope you and Raji read this and make some life or possibly some career changes I will also be in contact with your hospital administrator to discuss this further Feel free to call me too you have my number

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

The goal of drug rehab in Wisconsin is to address drug addiction as a complex issue that involves physical, mental, and relational aspects. During rehab, treatment focuses on each of these areas and gives you the tools you need to achieve and maintain sobriety.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
