I called to inform you of my donation and then I didn’t hear anything for 5 days. I called again and got the number of Dale, the driver assigned to pick it up. He tried to call me many times. Someone gave him the WRONG number. I almost didn’t donate the car because of this. Please be very careful when talking to potential donators.

I had been through treatment programs before, but I always went to a program for my wife or family. When I came to Port of Hope I finally came to treatment for myself. I finally realized that staying sober had to be my number one priority.

The most difficult part is learning that you need to pick up the phone and ask for help. Both admitting that you have a problem and actually having to make a phone call instead of a text, ha. This place will change your life for the better. Since starting here I went from barely making it through days at a restaurant job and sleeping on friends couches to getting my college degree, having a stable home, and affording a reliable car. The councelors lend a good ear but also talking to other patients who have been successful at staying clean is a must- no matter what you are going through there is someone else who has been there and may have advice or even just listen. Green Bay CTC is life-changing, for the better.

The EMPLOYEES at the Green Bay CTC are so Helpful and Friendly. They Truly want to Help with Recovery. I was very much appreciated and just lost for words at their wanting to Help and understanding.. I have been mainly very pleased with the help and support provided by Innovative Counseling. My son saw Dr. Dan Rauens and he was super helpful for my son with Autism, ADHD, and anxiety. I'd actually say that he was instrumental in the beginning of my son getting stabilized. He is compassionate and thoughtful and good with my son. I have seen Dr. Becky, and was very pleased with her. She helped me to get some clarity and help for myself to process through some trauma during a very stressful period of my life. Mike and the Autism team (Erin, Mindy, & Kelsey specifically) have helped my son to stabilize, grow, process, think, and communicate better. I say EVERYONE needs a "Mike" in their corner. He is able to understand my frustrations and then translate those into actionable, broken-down, steps for us to take with my son. He has been an encouragement to us when we felt like giving up, and I don't know where we'd be without his help, wisdom, and support. He genuinely cares and is an excellent role model for my son as well. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Lastly, we've worked with Glenda for psychiatric services. She's been overall very good to work with. I'm guessing that she has A LOT of patients, though, as she often appears to forget things that I'd expect her to remember. Her suggestions as far as medications go have been EXCELLENT. And when combined with Autism therapy and counseling - have contributed to my son being the most stable he's been in his 11 years of life. I cannot recommend Innovative Counseling highly enough - they have helped to save my family and sanity.

I cannot speak for others, but my counselor is a wonderfully caring person that also carries a knack for giving thought to what is said. My personal confidant never pretends to know what is best, but will always offer both an intelligent and emotionally insightful response.

I see a therapist and psychologist here and would never go anywhere else. They're both absolutely magical. The receptionists are both very friendly.

Dr. Fatema Al Wahshi is the absolute best provider I have ever had for psychiatry. I can’t rave enough about her. She makes me feel heard and like I have a choice in my care and medications. She doesn’t rush through an appointment and is very thorough and in detail. She answers any and all questions as well as telling you side effects and any information you want. She offers options to me always, like alternatives and supplements to medications. When I talk to her it is very clear how knowledgeable she is. She truly cares for her patients and is amazing! I would highly recommend her. I have went to many different providers for the last 5 years and she is the only one who has ever made me feel entirely comfortable, heard, and the ability to trust my mental health in her hands with medication. She is a blessing!

Dr. Lori Lowthert is the best psychiatric provider I have ever seen. She is exceptionally kind, empathetic, and understanding, and she genuinely listens to her patients. What I appreciate most is how actively she involves me in decisions about my treatment. She never makes sudden changes or simply tells me what will happen. Instead, she clearly explains the options, listens to my thoughts and concerns, and makes sure I am comfortable with any changes before moving forward. I always feel heard, respected, and empowered to have a voice in my own care. Dr. Lowthert shows an extraordinary level of compassion and dedication to her patients. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found her and cannot recommend her highly enough. She absolutely deserves five out of five stars!
