I went to Casa and was so surprised by how wonderful it was. We really all become a family. I remember 2 girls were pregnant and worried about their babies. A girl named Haley was one of them pregnant girls and today she's been sober for almost 2 yrs. She had her beautiful son and is doing amazing. Has her own apartment and just doing such great things in her and her son's life. I know Casa Clare and friendships she had helped her so much. Casa Clare took me in the same week I called for help, after not showing up for 2 prior intake appointments. I was 38 weeks pregnant, I was deep in addiction, homeless, and lost. This program not only got me sober and offered support, they are the reason I was able to keep custody of my baby and continue to thrive almost 2 years later.
They helped make postings on local support groups to help me gather needed baby supplies, let me bring my newborn to group sessions, and still to this day offer updated letters of completion and support. The counselors are able to connect with residents, as they have fought their own personal demons which makes sobriety feel so much more attainable.
Thanks Casa Clare, I wouldn't be an independent, sober mama that's about to graduate college if it weren't for your support and guidance lifting me up from rock bottom. You guys truly helped to save mine and my babies life. ❣️

For years I’ve been trying to work up the courage to go to therapy. The fear of divulging your most personal life stories to a stranger is daunting. Finding the “right” person seems impossible, so I decided to make an appointment with Carol. Right when i walked in she asked how i felt. I said that i felt a little nervous and wasn’t sure what to expect. She looked at me and her reply was “Good. If you feel comfortable with your therapist then they aren’t doing their job right”. Again, i didn’t have any set expectations going into the appointment since it was my first time, but what I experienced reinforced the terror of the idea that is therapy. It’s taken me some time to reflect on how I feel that my session went. What I felt after the session was deep regret. I regretted opening up to someone who I should’ve been able to trust. I felt judged, invalidated, and ashamed. If not for the encouragement of my support network I would not have given another therapist a chance.

Great place. If you are ready and willing to stop your substance abuse or alcohol use, this facility is a welcoming place. The main focus is on you, and why you use. Not so much on mental illness but they do touch on that. Your first 30 days will or should help you understand your addiction and how to better handle many situations in life so you won't automatically resort to your number 1 response (using). If you are fortunate enough to stay longer it only benefits you more. House managers tend to come and go but counselors are all very good at what they do. 3 meals a day, and dinner every nite cooked by a cook. Overall, great place to start your transition to a better life. You have to want to though .
I would also like to add that you are given drug tests every week, some more than others, and the cups they use are constantly giving false positives. That part is very frustrating at times because even though you know you're not, you, nobody else,you, have to deal with their consequences.

The program works if you are ready to quit your addiction. The bad reviews are from people who relasped and are looking for someone to blame. The staff can't quit for you. It comes down to your own will.

JNC changed my life after a 25 year drinking career. I volunteered for treatment after hitting my "bottom." The treatment was vital and the staff was amazing. It's a great program to recover IF you want to get and remain sober! I graduated the entire program (Inpatient, IOP & OP) and remain active in their FREE Alumni group (which offers free group therapy)- which is unique to JNC. They are even starting free Recovery Coach assistance for residents of Sober Living. No other treatment center to my knowledge offers more opportunities for assistance with your recovery. Thank you.

I have been mainly very pleased with the help and support provided by Innovative Counseling.
My son saw Dr. Dan Rauens and he was super helpful for my son with Autism, ADHD, and anxiety. I'd actually say that he was instrumental in the beginning of my son getting stabilized. He is compassionate and thoughtful and good with my son.
I have seen Dr. Becky, and was very pleased with her. She helped me to get some clarity and help for myself to process through some trauma during a very stressful period of my life.
Mike and the Autism team (Erin, Mindy, & Kelsey specifically) have helped my son to stabilize, grow, process, think, and communicate better. I say EVERYONE needs a "Mike" in their corner. He is able to understand my frustrations and then translate those into actionable, broken-down, steps for us to take with my son. He has been an encouragement to us when we felt like giving up, and I don't know where we'd be without his help, wisdom, and support. He genuinely cares and is an excellent role model for my son as well. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Lastly, we've worked with Glenda for psychiatric services. She's been overall very good to work with. I'm guessing that she has A LOT of patients, though, as she often appears to forget things that I'd expect her to remember. Her suggestions as far as medications go have been EXCELLENT. And when combined with Autism therapy and counseling - have contributed to my son being the most stable he's been in his 11 years of life.
I cannot recommend Innovative Counseling highly enough - they have helped to save my family and sanity.

Always friendly, absolutely accommodating to your needs, very professional atmosphere you can tell everyone who's there, truly belongs there...more of a family feel, opposed to the alone feeling I've had at other hospital's, there just a button press, or a holler away. I had knee replacement surgery one year ago. Leading up to the surgery, physical therapy after surgery and my most recent year folliw-up has been a pleasant experience. Connections Counseling is by far the best place I have ever been to for therapy and treatment. My therapist is insightful, inspiring, relatable and very knowledgeable. She encourages me to look within myself for strength and wisdom while she is there to help me. I now have 1.5 years of sobriety under my belt and have confidence in the future
The groups are a place of safety and comfort. The staff aswell as the peers are relatable, inspiring and encouraging. Kim is the most uplifting person you will ever come across in recovery. Smart move to have her be the first person you deal with at Connections. My life will never be the same (thank goodness) since I have come to Connections
