I've been struggling with addiction for over 30 years and have managed to be free from active addiction for 5 years.I have gone from taking 24mg per day of Suboxone daily down to the equivalent of 8mg per day! Clean Slate has helped me to manage my recovery so well and I'm going to be graduating from substance use disorder counseling program which is so exciting knowing that I've come this far and now I can help other people with their recovery! Great place. If you are ready and willing to stop your substance abuse or alcohol use, this facility is a welcoming place. The main focus is on you, and why you use. Not so much on mental illness but they do touch on that. Your first 30 days will or should help you understand your addiction and how to better handle many situations in life so you won't automatically resort to your number 1 response (using). If you are fortunate enough to stay longer it only benefits you more. House managers tend to come and go but counselors are all very good at what they do. 3 meals a day, and dinner every nite cooked by a cook. Overall, great place to start your transition to a better life. You have to want to though .I would also like to add that you are given drug tests every week, some more than others, and the cups they use are constantly giving false positives. That part is very frustrating at times because even though you know you're not, you, nobody else,you, have to deal with their consequences.

This place is amazing! The 28 days out of my normal people, places and things was EXACTLY what I needed. JNC slams 40 meetings and 80 hours of self empowering information into 4 weeks. The meetings exposed me to the recovery community I needed to connect with to maintain my sobriety after I got out of the house. The 80 hours of information was some of the best help I ve ever gotten. Being able to be rigorously honest about my self in front of 8-13 strangers without judgement is a type of freedom that s hard to explain. The bond I made in the house helped me feel connected to the sober world. The intense schedule gave me practice to keep a routine even when I got out. Every morning I got to practice meditation for just 20 minutes and that made all the difference. The counselors there help so much. I got many different opinions on many of my deepest problems and you can easily tell they just want what s best for everyone who comes in! I am still in IOP now and it s unbelievably helpful since I got to go out into the world and make hard decisions. I get 9 hours a week to make sure I m making the right ones or to learn how to make better ones next time. This place is still changing my life and constantly bettering me as a person! I would recommend this place to ANYONE needing help. This place works miracles if you allow it to!

I was placed at Rawhide in 1972, for the summer camp program. I came away a changed youth. I returned to my hometown, and the high-school I had attended. It took a lot of work on my part, as well as the Lord's guidance, but I did graduate with my class. I know in the years since I was there, I had stumbled a few times, but the Lord with his grace, continues to bless me.Jan, John, Bart and Cherrie, saved my life! He genuinely cares and is an excellent role model for my son as well. I cannot recommend him highly enough.Lastly, we've worked with Glenda for psychiatric services. She's been overall very good to work with. I'm guessing that she has A LOT of patients, though, as she often appears to forget things that I'd expect her to remember. Her suggestions as far as medications go have been EXCELLENT. And when combined with Autism therapy and counseling - have contributed to my son being the most stable he's been in his 11 years of life.I cannot recommend Innovative Counseling highly enough - they have helped to save my family and sanity.

Plain & simple.There's always gonna be downfalls to every solution - you're never gonna get a perfect remedy...however, the downfalls are worth the outcome. Anything is better than living as a slave to opiates. Addiction doesn't discriminate...it'll get anyone of any age, race, background, etc. Demographics don't matter. So don't judge those who are seeking treatment. Be happy they're getting help. Also, don't assume everyone that attends these clinics are low-life criminals. We have all walks of Life come here for treatment. Nurses, veterans, business men/women, & even grandfathers/grandmothers. People you wouldn't think would be in this situation. We even have patients who were on pain meds for cancer & other severe medical conditions prescribed by their doctor -- only to be left in the dust with a physical addiction to those medications. Addiction isn't always mental or psychological. If you're battling addiction yourself & have failed other typical treatments - Medication Assisted Treatment may be the answer. I do believe it should be used only after failing the other traditional methods.

This place offers valuable support for people struggling with addiction and seeking a better life. However, it faces challenges related to conflicts among residents. Some individuals bring their children to the facility due to a lack of access to childcare. even though the environment is not conducive for children, with incidents of swearing and yelling occurring. The primary focus should be on transforming lives, and there is a need for improvement in the process of transitioning out of the program.

We have adopted four children, all with special needs. Our current home study expires on May 20. Our current agency does not want to renew our study. They feel we are too old (in our 50's) and have enough children. We are saddened by the fact that we only need a renewal to add another child to our family.Are you familiar with any agencies that would renew our study for us? Help with finalization and AA?
