Amanda Patt is the best! I came to her with two issues that needed physical therapy. She easily divided my scheduled appointments to address both problems.
I first arrived for PT after surgery in a wheelchair and large leg brace, then progressed to a walker and finally left using only a cane!
She was very knowledgeable about both issues and carefully explained home exercises for me at each visit.
We will recommend Amanda to anyone who needs PT; in fact, our son has already received therapy from Amanda..
I know my recovery from a major surgery progressed much faster due to the PT I received from Amanda.

This review pertains only to the out-patient lab section of MMC. I had a Covid-19 test, for an upcoming medical procedure if you must know, on the morning of Oct. 12, 2021. I was just a little bit anxious because, believe it or not, this was my first real Covid-19 test (I believe being fully vaccinated, masked, and social distancing are responsible for that).
A young woman named Anna drew my test sample, and even though it was just barely 8:00 a.m., her effusive, bright personality brought a smile to my face and eased all my anxiety. She is an asset to MMC and hopefully she will be compensated with a commensurate pay raise of at least 15%.

We are from out of town and I had an Emergency Dept. visit early morning on 9/18. Dr. Shannon Faehling was thorough, compassionate, and spent the time necessary to order the correct tests and get to the bottom of my issue. We have adopted four children, all with special needs. Our current home study expires on May 20. Our current agency does not want to renew our study. They feel we are too old (in our 50's) and have enough children. We are saddened by the fact that we only need a renewal to add another child to our family.
Are you familiar with any agencies that would renew our study for us? Help with finalization and AA? Despite our ages? We have passed the background checks and physicals five times now. We have had local media write about us and USA today did a video about our family.
Even if we found our child tomorrow, we would not have time to remain with current study until finalization.

I actually love the er at Ssm so much. Since they were bought out things really have turned around. All the staff is kind there and they always take the time to hear you out and take you seriously. Great place. If you are ready and willing to stop your substance abuse or alcohol use, this facility is a welcoming place. The main focus is on you, and why you use. Not so much on mental illness but they do touch on that. Your first 30 days will or should help you understand your addiction and how to better handle many situations in life so you won't automatically resort to your number 1 response (using). If you are fortunate enough to stay longer it only benefits you more. House managers tend to come and go but counselors are all very good at what they do. 3 meals a day, and dinner every nite cooked by a cook. Overall, great place to start your transition to a better life. You have to want to though .
I would also like to add that you are given drug tests every week, some more than others, and the cups they use are constantly giving false positives. That part is very frustrating at times because even though you know you're not, you, nobody else,you, have to deal with their consequences.

I was placed at Rawhide in 1972, for the summer camp program. I came away a changed youth. I returned to my hometown, and the high-school I had attended. It took a lot of work on my part, as well as the Lord's guidance, but I did graduate with my class. I know in the years since I was there, I had stumbled a few times, but the Lord with his grace, continues to bless me.
