You cannot get sober at a fancy place. I've been in 22 rehabs, and it just doesn't work. A place like this isn't gonna help you at all. They just want money

Accepted Insurance

Drug & Alcohol Rehab at Brook Recovery Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

This place is a complete disaster of a company. No owner, no director to speak with if you have a complaint or any issues. Their groups are redundant. And their group leaders to my experience don't even have degrees in the field.

I recently had the opportunity to attend Brook and it was truly a life-changing experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe, supported, and understood. The facility itself is clean, calming, and designed to foster a sense of peace, which really helped me focus on my recovery. The therapists and counselors were incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, offering personalized treatment plans that truly addressed my specific needs. What stood out to me was how invested they were in my progress—not just treating me as another patient, but as a person deserving of real, lasting change. The group therapy sessions were powerful, and it was comforting to connect with others in a supportive environment. The holistic approach they take, incorporating mindfulness, physical activity, and therapeutic practices, made a significant difference in my journey. I left the program feeling empowered and equipped with the tools I need to continue thriving in my daily life. I highly recommend Brook to anyone seeking mental health support. They go above and beyond to create a healing environment, and I am forever grateful for the care and attention I received.

In summary, I got the impression that these guys are really desperate for patients, which is a pretty big red flag. No legitimate medical establishment will use high-pressure tactics to get you to enrol in a treatment plan. I think this business is more about money than therapy and it has potential to do more harm than good. The full story is that I found these guys through a google search for psychiatrists in my area because the wait time through my doctor's office is eight months. I don't have substance abuse issues, and my doctor has never suggested that I need intensive treatment. I filled out an interest form hoping to be connected with a psychiatrist who can help me with anxiety and other issues. I got a call back almost immediately from a representative whose tone was more similar to an aggressive salesperson's than someone who works at a medical center. I suspect he was not allowed to hang up with me because, after explaining several times that their program was not was I was looking for and that I would be destabilized and overwhelmed by it, I had to hang up on the representative. Before I hung up, though, the representative was able to confirm that he trained in business rather than medical administration. Thankfully, I was able to call my doctor's office and get an earlier appointment. My experience with this office, however, has made me very sad for the state of American healthcare.

The staff at BRC are truly exceptional. Seth and Connor have done an amazing job managing the facility and guiding clients & staff. The expertise demonstrated by each staff member in substance abuse and mental health is evident, but it’s their genuine compassion and commitment to their clients that truly stands out. Each team member—from therapists to counselors to administrative staff & management—approaches their work with a deep sense of empathy and dedication. They create a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters healing and growth. The facility itself is well-maintained and it's clear that Brook Recovery Center prioritizes creating a comfortable and serene atmosphere for its clients.

I gave my heart and soul to this place. I loved the people there, and gave me a reason to get up in the morning to drive outside of Boston to get there. But Connor and Seth there are two of the worst " counselors" ever. This place can kick rocks and ive been to a couple.
