Excellent care by all the VA health system, but the phone system is not a good system for contact. and the VA system as a whole is a wreck for the veteran. The VA as a whole has the idea that if they can deny claims long enough you will die and they will not have to pay for your claims.As for the health system itself, it is A number 1.

Some of the tecs arent the best but more the females are some of the sweetest ladys and the nurse julio is the best nurse in that hospital he is such a kind soul and an adorable man i think this hospital depends on the people you are in there with because the first time i went it was so scary and the nurses and tecs were always stressed but the second time i went everything was calm and nice and i genuinely think it helped make me better

I had a great experience at Medmark. Luis was my counselor and it was apparent from day one that he genuinely cared, he always went out of his way to accommodate my unusual schedule and in turn I made sure that I never missed my sessions with him he made my sessions entertaining and I learned a lot from them I will miss medmark and Luis. I was visiting family there and one of the nurses there, Samantha I believe, or Sam, was very kind and funny. And genuinely seemed like she cared about the children and patients there. She was really helpful and made the experience there a pleasant one. I had heard not great things about the place and that the staff was rude and uncaring. But she surprised me by how good of a person she was. It made me feel more relieved about having a family member there with someone like her around.

My wife and I are both 100% P&T, and the El Paso VA Main Clinic has consistently taken excellent care of us. The dental clinic is phenomenal—though appointments can sometimes take a little while, the quality of care makes it well worth it. The radiology department staff are always professional, friendly, and attentive. The community care process can be a bit challenging at times, but it does pay off in the end. On top of that, the cafeteria food is surprisingly delicious. Overall, the El Paso VA truly takes pride in caring for veterans, and it shows in the way they treat us.

I recently moved to New mexico from Colorado. The VA hospital in El Paso is very easy to find. I found the staff there to be very helpful and courteous. They treated me with respect.and I was seen at my appointment time and had no problems. Although the care that I got in Colorado was just as good, the wait times for many things there were much longer than they are here. I am happy with the VA clinics and hospital here.

Great experience here! I saw Iris Vazquez for individual therapy to get me through my post-partum depression (and life after). She was wonderful, very helpful, and compassionate. I also saw Belinda Galegos for couples counseling with my husband, and she was also so great. Both my husband and I really benefitted from our time with her. Only had to leave here because we moved out of state.

We Have used them on two different occassions. Both child/play therapy and adult counseling. We had had an absolute great experience with our therapists. I currently see Belinda and she has been so helpful.
The therapist We used to see for my daughter is no longer with them but she was equally amazing.

I’m surprised the reviews for this place are so low. I can’t speak for all the counselors here, but I see Belinda Gallegos for couples therapy and Iris Vasquez for individual therapy and they are incredible therapists. My quality of life is significantly improving thanks to our work together. I’ve also never had issues with the front office staff, sure some of the peeps aren’t the most charismatic, but they’re nice enough and get the job done.

This place treats clients like people, not patients, and it really shows. Apart from having a complete male, female, and adolescent section of their facility for each demographic, they also offer meals, snacks and appreciation dinners for their clients. This is a fantastic place with good intention behind everything. The yoga program is especially impressive, and several of the graduates have committed to yoga long term thanks to the skilled instructors there

I'll give them 5 stars , mainly cuz to be honest with this place u get what u put in.. For example if u give a 100 % then the staff with put in 100 % . They are very helpful and Genuine if they see u are trying they will give u that extra push u need.

It's a state run facility so you will encounter; individuals court ordered to treatment who don't really care, homeless who just want a place to stay and temporarily detox, staff members on a power trip that will take every opportunity to put you down and threaten you. But if you are serious about your recovery, there are a dozen staff members In recovery who will move heaven and earth to support you, Find them utilize them take in their wisdom. While everyone else is working at TLH for a paycheck they are working there for you. They won't force you to get clean or use the coping skills but if you ask for help you can bet your butt they will be the first in line to give it to you.
