This facility is the best I’ve ever experienced. I did inpatient in 2018, IOP in Feb 2023, and now PHP in May 2023. I’ve gone inpatient and done IOP at other locations. Judging from those and asking around, THIS facility is where the care is!! All largely positive experiences. Yes, there will always be some staff who are less than exemplary, but the overwhelming majority are phenomenally kind and understanding. Special shoutout to Cassy in PHP for being one of the most enlightened/inspired healthcare professionals I’ve ever witnessed.
I have a rare neuro disease that complicates my myriad of mental health conditions. For the for the first time since my diagnosis 6 years ago (and seeing over 15 doctors and therapists since), a seasoned doctor at this hospital humbled himself enough to research it to provide better care for me. I cannot express my full gratitude.
The system is far from perfect. We can thank our government and insurance systems for that. Also, yes, the quality of any given program also depends on the luck of the draw of the other patients in it with you. But, the staff here are some of best you’ll ever find anywhere - and I’ve been around the block! Don’t think twice. Come here.

Safe, clean, and supportive atmosphere. I am very grateful for them and their helping hand. I can tell you this: some of the entitlement, arrogance, and plain disrespect I have personally witnessed the staff endure is absurd. It’s as if some of the patients act like they are owed something when the stress and frustration are already plainly written on the staff member’s faces. I know that personally, I couldn’t handle it. A kind word, some patience, and a sincere “thank you” can go a long way. Furthermore, not a single person there “owes” us anything! None of the staff is getting rich by working there, they work there because they genuinely care. Remember, they are there every day at 5a.m. for us already, and you are a sad human if you don’t realize that and treat them accordingly. | West Milwaukee Comprehensive Treatment Center is an outpatient treatment center for adults 18 and up. They’re located on Miller Parkway West in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They specialize in the treatment of opioid use disorder through medication assisted treatment (MAT) and also offer behavioral health services for co-occurring mental health disorders | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I want to start this off by saying: West Milwaukee CTC helped save my life. I’ve been clean because of the structure and support this clinic provided, and I’m truly grateful for that. As a mom of five with a full-time job, my life is chaotic—but I’ve worked hard for my sobriety, and this place has been part of that journey.
That said, it hasn’t all been smooth.
Despite BARELY ever missing a dose and consistently attending group, I was placed on a compliance contract simply for missing a few individual appointments—even though I called ahead, had doctor’s notes, and valid reasons EVERY single time. I was doing my part and communicating, but apparently, it wasn’t “enough.” That contract felt like punishment, not support. And it came before I even had to deal with my father’s passing and planning his funeral.
When my annual came up, I was literally in the funeral home making arrangements. I called AHEAD to reschedule and was told, “Nope—because it’s your annual, it can’t be rescheduled.” Not for a day or two. Nothing. That level of rigidity and lack of empathy broke me a little. It felt like my grief and responsibilities didn’t matter. Meanwhile, I see others skip groups or blow off appointments with no consequences. Some haven't seen their counselors in weeks. I personally know some that haven't been to group in 2 months. The inconsistency in how rules are applied is frustrating and unfair.
Now, for the people who DO get it—and why I keep showing up:
James in security is the real MVP. He greets everyone with kindness and respect, and actually takes time to check on people. He is REAL.
Enetrea, the director, is a force of compassion. She fights for clients and bends over backwards to keep people going. Doing anything and everything; making sure no one gives up.
Counselors like Jalen, Kim, Penny, Darlene, and Raquel, are the kind who stick by your side and help you walk through the fire.
Rose and the nursing team are consistently caring and professional.
Vicky and Jae’la at the front deal with everyone’s moods and struggles first thing in the morning and still manage to stay smiling and helpful.
But some counselors? They just don’t get it. They may be educated, but they lack lived experience with addiction—either in themselves or their families. And it shows. There's a difference between textbook empathy and real understanding. Some come off cold, disconnected, and judgmental. For those of us who’ve been through the darkest parts of life, that kind of energy does more harm than good.
If I ever stop going, it won’t be because I gave up—it’ll be because of a counselor who didn’t care enough to understand.
This clinic is full of good people doing hard work. But it also has cracks in the system that need fixing. Fairness. Flexibility. Human empathy. Those things should matter just as much as structure and rules.
I’ll always be grateful to this clinic for helping me stay clean—but I won’t ignore the flaws that need to be addressed.
I submitted a counselor change request, but that doesn’t prevent someone else from going through the same difficult experience I did in the future.

I have been coming to West Grove Clinic for about 2 years now for my psychiatrist and therapist... I absolutely love both of them... I see Doctor Bracciano for psychiatry and Rehna Ripley for therapy ... They are both amazing at what they do... The front desk staff is also amazing!! They are super friendly and very helpful, every time I come in or call they are able to fix whatever issue I'm having immediately... I'm able to get ahold of my psychiatrist and therapist, whenever I need to speak to them, I'm able to use their extension and they get back to me promptly with a response... I wish all of my doctors were like this honestly. I highly recommend West Grove Clinc if you're looking for a place to come for mental health needs. Among other things that they offer, they are amazing with my mental health issues... I honestly feel like a person and not just a burden or a number...everyone here knows me by name and I've never had one bad experience with anyone. West Grove Clinc is the best!!!

The front desk staff is typically friendly and attentive. Though sometimes, a little slow. The provider was who was available the quickest so we chose them. Not always easy to talk to and supportive for what we need for my daughter. Generally, though, I get my point across for her best care.

When needed, medication stabilization is also available using FDA-approved and prescribed medications to help you with the medically related issues of mental health conditions and substance use disorders. The counseling s | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I am currently a patient of Amri Counseling and I have to update my review. I allowed my frustration to get the best of me, again instead of taking time to breathe and problem solve. I would like to say I was experiencing some issues with my insurance receiving weekly notes and not communicating that to Amri but constantly calling me. Because of the misunderstanding, the owner called me personally to resolve the issues and go over my treatment plan. The office even called to let me know they submitted a request to the records department and I should be receiving an email no later than tomorrow. This made me feel heard, and appreciated as a patient.
I also would like to say that I have had the same therapist for the last 3 months and were making some progress. She works with my internal medicine doctor and I enjoy meeting with her weekly.
Anytime, I need something from the office I am able to go in the inside and speak to someone in person and get resolve. I appreciate the great customer service from the gentleman who runs the capital location. We all know customer service has taken a plug with all business but he continues to treat everyone with respect and kindness.
Thank you, Amri for what you do in community continue to keep up the good work.

The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Milwaukee. Milwaukee has the 240th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below.
