This was the first time I have ever been to a Detox program. The staff was super nice and helped with all my needs to make it as painless as possible. They all go above and beyond to make the whole process as painless as possible. Whoever is doing the hiring of staff at this location is spot on. Even with many shifts, as it's 24/7 covered, I did not meet one person I did not like. On top of the daily group sessions that really sealed the deal with the program. Even though I was a short timer as I was just there to detox, everyone welcomed me with open arms. The only thing that is a negative for my experience is NAME TAGS on employees. When they have multiple shifts and people, it's hard to recall names. Especially when you are in a bad state when first coming on site. If it's a budget concern, I can start a Go Fund Me account to get name tags for the employees.

As a person who has been to most of the facilities in this area, I can honestly say midwest detox is by far the best one. The staff as a whole is very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to meet not only the patient's clinical needs, but also all their basic needs in order to make them as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process. You are seen as a person there, not just a number or a way for them to get paid. They CARE! I recommend Dr. Arassi to anyone who truly needs and wants help. He helped me to transform my life and I will forever be grateful for him and his staff for going out of their way at times, as well as their sincerity and willingness to help me when I was at the lowest of my low. I have made so many accomplishments that I use to think I would never be able to attain (going to college, maintaining important relationships and just being able to live a "normal" life again... to name a few). I have been coming here for about 3+ years. My life has changed so much so, that I can’t be thankful enough!!! The respect shown to me along with compassion & understanding that I’m sure was hard & challenging at times to give, was what I needed to live life again..Addictive behavior has it’s own demons filled with shame & denial, control issues & pride that most can relate to, as we all have our own story. I had a new set of challenges that came with my health diminishing right before my very eyes that made it seem impossible on a lot of days to get through. That started about 9months in. I couldn’t drive anymore and was using a walker at one point & cried a lot! .... None of us are above addiction & at that point I needed help more than ever, as I was so vulnerable just in my physical pain alone...I can tell you that I fought a lot of what needed to be done and tried bullying and controlling the areas I thought I should be in control of. I can promise you that you are in the right place. Whether court ordered, legal troubles, or like me, just wanted help and was tired of the struggle day in and day out, you can change. You WILL change!!! Dr Arassi, the counselors & all of the staff are here to help you. They want you to be here and feel good again. Trust them! Listen! Let your guard down and be broken. This program works. Don’t give up. There’s no shame in needing help. This world is hard enough without addictions. You will get through this. I promise you!!! Good luck!!!

Wishope gave me a new opportunitty

Wishope has been awesome for me. The material is outstanding and very relative to learning new life skills to beat addiction. The biggest difference from this facility is them slowly intergrading you into everyday life. You are exposed to everyday life while in here and still held accountable with positive reinforcement. I was able to practice meditation and other useful skills that are needed daily. The staff are amazing and have been very caring along with very willing to help in any way possible. My house managers have been great. The best one yet has been in the apartments. She is outstanding, kind, listens to all of your needs and is more than willing to help you in any way that she can. I cannot say enough about the staff and the program. Both are awesome!!!! I am lucky I found this place. My current therapist is amazing and the therapist I had before him was amazing. The only complaint I have had since I have been here is much of the housing is very run down. Much of it needs new flooring badly.

I came to Wishope in August of 2025. I had just relapsed after having over a year clean and sober. Wishope took me in and met me where I was at. What I mean by this is the staff recognized what my strengths and what my struggles were. I was given the support to deal with the death of my best friend. In addition I was taught and given assistance in refining coping techniques. Upon completing the 30 day inpatient program I was granted a spot at their sober living apartments and given additional outpatient treatment. Since I arrived at the apartments I have returned to work for my previous employer and strengthened my mental and physical help. Wishope believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. I am becoming the best version of myself and I am eternally grateful to Wishope. I have been to other treatments and unlike some treatment centers, Wishope built me up rather than tearing me down. Thank you to everyone at Wishope. Not only have I gotten my life back, I have made lifelong friendships

Even though it is a small clinic, the staff is great and knows how to optimize their resources. Remember that nothing worth having is handed on a silver tray. They are considerate of us patients and show you to learn from your mistakes

5 stas! Because everyone cares about your journey to get better..I cannot thank them enough, the staff is amazing kind and caring they work with you and encourage you to be better and do better! Never felt judged by anyone! I would recommend them a thousand percent to anyone who wants to change their life! I feel completely safe and comfortable anytime Iam going!! Hands down an all around amazing place!!!

The staff is helpful for the most part. However, the program could be improved. Thanks for a friendly atmosphere and for all the work you do.

I think this place benefits everyone that comes to it. There was this one guy though that kept talking about getting loads all the time. There was another guy that was born a mouse and now is growing into a rat, He smoked weed the whole Time. Made it hard to focus on my recovery. Then he did the perky dance right outta here. Kim is a wonderful staff member along with Karen. The rest of the staff isn’t bad either.

Phenomenal urgent care service, they are deeply patient, professional, kind, and timely care. Would highly recommend them.

Love Meta House they have done so much for me.I would recommend it to any women in need of these type of services. They are especially helpful to women with children but also welcome women with no children as well. They truly changed my life and made me feel very welcomed.
