Having been through the WisHope Step-Down Housing Program and Wis Hope Treatment Program, I can tell you first hand, that this is a program that can change your entire life, if getting sober and improving your life is truly what you are ready for and willing to do. I struggled with the use of heroin/fentanyl/pain pills for 20 years. It wasn't WisHope that made me stop using. It was "Me" that made "Me" stop using. And it is Wis Hope that co-signed every single step I took to NOT get high every day or give in to the cravings that made me doubt everything that I was doing. Wis Hope offered me the support I needed from day to day to make sure I reached the only goal I wanted to achieve. And that was to make sure I hit my pillow every single night sober! I didn't give a damn if I didn't get one thing done on my "To-do-Lists". And then when I was ready to take the next step, Wis Hope was ALWAYS and still is right there behind me supporting me and giving me the strength I need to realize that I am worth way more than I ever gave myself credit for. They helped me find my purpose again. I have so much to be grateful and thankful for every single day. Instead of chasing that next high and wasting my time degrading and de-facing myself, I amhappy and eager in accomplishing my goals to become the best version of myself. So much that because of my determination and focus, I am now an employee for WisHope helping other people reach their goals and helping them to get past the pain and suffering I once knew all to well. This was not my first treatment, but it was definitely the best! WisHope offered me a different type of treatment using DBT that taught me skills to use in everyday life and on my sober journey. The staff members were compassionate, empathetic and also knowledgeable. Most are in recovery themselves which made their experiences more valuable to the program that helped nurture clients’ recovery process. The one on one therapy was like none I ever had, getting to the root of some of the contributors to my substance abuse. The recovery community is amazing here! Dr. Sheedy is seriously one of those doctors I wish there were more of. He is so down to earth, so easy to talk to, and just one of those people who makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. My daughter is almost 13 and absolutely adores him, and my son is 8 and loves him too.And honestly it is crazy to me that we have been with him for EIGHT YEARS now. He literally came into our lives when my son was born. Hendrix was considered high risk because of the Rh factor issue and there was concern he could possibly need a blood transfusion. Our pediatrician at the time took a last-minute vacation, and Dr. Sheedy was the doctor who came to Waukesha Memorial Hospital and took care of him.That was pretty much it for me. We left our old pediatrician after that and have been with Dr. Sheedy ever since.He has watched my son grow from a tiny high-risk newborn into this wild 8-year-old boy, and he has watched my daughter grow into almost a teenager. He knows my kids, he talks TO them and not just over them, and he makes them feel safe. As a mom, that means everything to me. He is family friendly, honest, kind, funny, and just real. He never makes you feel dumb for asking questions and never makes you feel rushed. I truly trust him with my kids, and after 8 years I can say that with my whole heart. I really wish they made more doctors like Dr. Sheedy. We are so lucky he walked into our lives when he did!

Came in with alot of pain, but was greeted by many friendly faces. Good bed-side manner by all employees. Kept me informed frequently on my progress, and kept comfortable as best that they could. I left with the medications I needed and full instructions what to do when I get home. Follow up appt was scheduled the next day. Great care here if you need help when you to see a doctor.

I think this place benefits everyone that comes to it. There was this one guy though that kept talking about getting loads all the time. There was another guy that was born a mouse and now is growing into a rat, He smoked weed the whole Time. Made it hard to focus on my recovery. Then he did the perky dance right outta here. Kim is a wonderful staff member along with Karen. The rest of the staff isn’t bad either.

I was very hesitant for years to start methadone maintenance because of the stygma- none of which were true. This place saved my life. It helped me regain everything I had lost to the illness of addiction, and then some. I never thought that my life would ever be this good. I'm always improving myself. They really care about you, and you get to do things at YOUR OWN PACE! I’ve been coming to Waukesha comprehensive treatment center for more than 2 years. I love coming here . The staff are amazing and they care immensely about their patients. Jeff the director is awesome and goes above and beyond for everyone to help them succeed. Heidi is caring ,smart n funny and always making others feel welcome Jen and Kelly are very wonderful nurses who care and are always are incredibly helpful. Many thanks to Zoey for being a great counselor whom is very kind,empathetic and hard working. I am grateful for the staff n the support they provide to help me through my journey of addiction. 5 stars to this Amazing treatment center!!!

I’m so thankful for Spring City Corner Clubhouse. Clubhouse has never failed me. I never had a problem getting help. I have learned so much in the 14 years I’ve been a member. Clubhouse helps me with structure and isolation. Clubhouse has helped me to increase my computer skills, culinary skills and so many other tasks. I highly recommend Spring City to anyone who lives with mental health. Remember, when you ask for help you have to be willing to listen and follow through. Denoon changed my life. I struggled for a long time before becoming a client at Denoon Recovery Center. I was in and out of treatment, really wrestling with my addiction and alcoholism, and hurting the people who loved me the most. At Denoon I found people who actually understood what was going on with me and could reach me when no one else could. I received compassion and support that I hadn't found anywhere else. Denoon is a really solid place. Everyone’s super chill and actually cares. You can be real with them and they’ll be real back. My therapists were super nice and easy to talk to and that helped a lot. They called me out too which I needed. The schedule kept me on track without feeling like too much like some treatment have in the past. Hanging with guys in the sober living house was really supportive for my recovery. Overall just a good supportive vibe. Definitely recommend.

This place saved my life, I was entirely lost and mentally stranded after years of mistakes. I never learned how to function as an adult in the real world, which exactly what Roots taught me. The sober living program provides a very structured schedule, helps build disciplines, and teaches real life skills alongside how to live a happy life in recovery. I'm eternally grateful for everything I learned here and to now be employed with them to help other people like myself!

When I first got to roots I was very shut down and isolated, I wanted nothing to do with anyone including myself, I had no hope left. I have now been at roots for a year and I can truly say that roots gave me my life back. I have learned how to trust others, myself, and be more vulnerable which has helped me make connections with other sober people in my community, and rebuild the ones that I had tore down in my active addiction. The structure helped me to stay accountable and relearn what everyday life is like outside of using, I forgot how to be a human outside of drugs and alcohol and roots helped me to build up my skills again. I could go on and on about how much roots has changed my life but I can assure you that in the year I have been here I am a completely different person and I am so beyond grateful I came to roots and that the people within roots never lost hope in me!

Some of the classes were great! The art therapy was amazing. Some of the staff was great. Juliana deserves a raise!! That girl handled some very difficult people over the weekend. Some of the aids were so kind and fun and helpful. Definitely some not so nice or invested staff. They did great with my food allergies. Overall was a helpful stay for mental health but a few employees that may need to be let go.
