Waukesha, WI | WisHope Recovery provides substance addiction treatment for adults in Waukesha, Wisconsin. They offer residential and outpatient services. They also have extended care treatment for those who need more support before returning home to regular activities. Their top-rated residential treatment is appropriate for those who need more structured living | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Wishope is unlike any other treatment facility I’ve been to or seen in my experience of reaching out for help with addiction. They offer so many benefits and opportunities to help everyone come together as a community and heal. Finding purpose at Wishope
Working at WisHope has been more than a job - its been a journey of growth, healing and purpose. Everyday, I get to witness transformation, not just in the lives of those we serve, but in myself as well. Being part of a team that helps people rebuild their lives from addiction has taught me compassion, resilience, and the power of hope.
This place isn't just an addiction treatment center - its a second chance for everyone who walks through its doors, including me. Growing in my career through this company has reminded me that meaningful work truly changes lives, starting with your own.

Waukesha, WI | WisHope Recovery Center Is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. They treat people for substance use disorder and alcohol use disorder on both an outpatient and inpatient basis. They also treat people who have concurring mental health issues and addiction issues. A Typical Day Most of your day will be spent in group ther | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I've been with the Wishope Recovery program for the last 8 months - 30 days residential, 30 days transitional, and 190 days in sober living. I spent 90 days total in programming learning about addiction, recovery, and about myself. The staff was extremely supportive and helpful at every step along the way. They have answered my questions, listened to my fears, and celebrated my achievements. I would not be where I am today if I had not been a part of this program. I tried to get sober by myself for years before stepping into the residential facility, and there I found the pathway to finding and maintaining my sobriety going forward. I am very appreciative and thankful for this program.

From homelessness and on the verge of sacrificing what life i had, I took the advice of a counselor to go to a mental hospital. During my 12 day detox I was told about Wishope and that rehab may be good for me. Being open to anything different than what I had became my focal point, so I took the offer and went to Woods Crossing to start my first rehab journey in residential. I'm so grateful that I took it! That's when I got sober. It was suggested that I do the step down program which took several months. That is when I learned to be sober. I learned about myself and trauma. I learned about addiction. I also learned that my flaws weren't weaknesses, but things I just wasn't good at. Yet still a part of me that made up who I am. I have learned to respect myself, set goals that are achievable, cope with what life throws at me sober, and how to love myself and smile again. God has thankfully removed the filter that I once looked at the world thru and given me one that is filled with love, faith in something bigger than myself, and respect to myself and others. By the grace of God I am now learning to LIVE sober. And what a blessing that gift is. A BETTER WAY TO LIVE. Thank you Wishope for giving me 12 months sober and pushed me to be uncomfortable at times, vulnerable at other times without judgment, and pushing me to be better. This experience has been worth everything to me and literally changed my life!

WisHope has helped me get my life back. Coming through this program has been the best decision I could have made. The staff is amazing and is always there for you any time of the day. I was able to learn so much about myself and how to continue working on myself for the rest of my life. Wishope helped me to identify my triggers and then how to cope with them. This is the first time that I have ever enjoyed seeing a therapist and actually focusing on how to better my life. This is my first rehab program, and I am very happy I selected to go here. I completed the step down program, and I believe this was a huge part of helping me to learn a new daily healthy routine. I am now 7 months sober, and without Wishope I wouldn’t be able to say that!(:

I think this place benefits everyone that comes to it. There was this one guy though that kept talking about getting loads all the time. Waukesha, WI | Newport Academy’s Teen Mental Health & Addiction Treatment center is based in a quiet and secluded corner of Waukesha, Wisconsin. They provide outpatient programs specifically designed for teens aged 12-21. When you enroll, you can choose from partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). It all depends on your circum | Treatments Programs Payment Options | We highly recommend Newport. We were in a position where we needed “a little more mental health help” with our teen. We enrolled her in an IOP which is where she goes to school but then has therapy for 3 hours, 3 days a week. They helped her build confidence in herself and restored her self-love.
People often ask “why do a PHP or IOP”? The reason for us, was it jump started her on the right path. Think of it like staring a work out. If you do a “boot camp” and exercise intensely, it helps kick start your weight loss/muscle building skills. Same goes for mental health.
The staff was always kind, courteous and professional. My daughter really loved her therapist, Jen. She connected with her. My daughter had seen other therapists outpatient (not through Newport) but always felt like they were “just doing their jobs” and didn’t “actually care about her.”
Not so at Newport. You can tell EVERY. SINGLE staff member was invested in her.
They also worked with us, as our insurance did not cover their services. They outlined a financial plan that was doable for our family.
They are “the best” for a reason. If you are even remotely in need of their services, set up an appointment. It’s the first step to healing. ❤️

I researched Newport Academy on line and was impressed with the different services and therapy offered. The reviews that I read of youg people and how Newport Academy has helped change their life. My son and I did a tour, and met the staff. We both had seperate interviews as to what we were looking for, as we left my son immediately said to me "I want to go there mom, I really like the staff". Here we are several months later and my son loves the people, they are the most welcoming, empathetic, supportive not justfor my sons needs but to support our family and teach us the tools to build strong healthy relationships. My son was able to participate in Horse therapy at Equine and he discovered the love for horses, and confidence that he gained there through the program. He is looking forward to continue his journey at Newport Academy through volunteering and hope to work their as an adult, he wants to empower other young people to push through the difficult stuff because the rewards are for life. As a mother i immediately felt safe to know that my son was coming to a good place because they truly care. I am looking forward to continue our journey with the staff and am excited to see where this journey takes us. I am so grateful to the whole team for what they have helped us achieve. Everything I was ever told before I went in the military, and when I was in, was to avoid the VA at all costs. And I did. Even for 14 years since I had gotten out. Then I had some medical stuff come up and I reached out to an Air Force buddy and he was shocked that I wasn't being treated at the VA. I called the 1-800 number for eligibility, and had an appointment scheduled the next day. I get that every VA probably is a little nuanced, but the Milwaukee location has been incredible to say the least. Everything I was told was completely untrue or just outdated. These men and women are awesome.

I've been bringing my dad to this VA for the last few months, and after just our first visit, we knew he was in good hands. Every specialist we've seen have been nothing but hands on, attentive, thorough, empathetic, patient and helpful. From Dr.B in oncology, to Tess up in endoscopy, these women are some of the most kind medical professionals I have ever met, and I hope they know their kindness goes a long way and is still thought of well after. I have had so many wonderful interactions with the staff there, there was a nurse who ordered my dad some lunch as he was in recovery after a procedure, which was such a nice thing to do, I didn't catch her name but she might be the charge nurse in endoscopy maybe? Another thing I really liked about this VA is that if you look lost and wandering the halls, there are many friendly faces around to get you pointed in the right direction, and most of the time they'll ask YOU first lol. There was also a younger man up front who helped lead me to the other building over to 114 through the tunnel, he didn't have to, but he did, just over all blown away by the difference of health care compared to the other VA my dad was going to. And with already having seen someone in pulmonary, oncology, endoscopy, ED department, mental health and MRI, I have nothing but good things to say.
Thank you kindly, for everything.
