I am writing this review for Juana only. She made herself available to resolve an issue regarding outstanding paperwork for a family member. She answered calls, returned them promptly and delivered. Craig was supposed to handle the matter but was unsuccessful. Juana made it happen. Please make sure to ask for Juana if you need assistance. Also, if you require documentation, please ask for copies or email them to you so that you can have proof that the work was completed. Do not leave there unless you obtain copies or some proof of completion. You rock Juana!

It's works because I made it and continue to make it work for me......I do and did what I needed to do, which is to fight hard for myself and my sobrity... It is not easy.....Especially when you stand up and fight in an honorable way, because something I strongly believe was done in poor jugement towards me... Not intentionally, I want to believe that of a specific staff member.....Yet the way I was treated by two top head staff members and the counselor involved in the incident became a personal vendetta against me that I had to contact my two family members in OASAS to help me solve the problem off the books....After the unofficial help I received from OASIS THE VENDETTA TOWARDD ME COUNTINED FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AFTER....With this staff member physically looking into every group I attended and telling the Director to discouraged me by taking every groupI attended away which lead the facilitator of the groups aware of the vendetta against me and my other peer....Unfortunately I don't attend any groups at the clinic so that I could avoid bringing problems to other staff members...I do have other great outside group where I attend 3 x a week......I have been sober for 5 yrs and will remain Sober for today....

This is the second MAT clinic that I've been to and I would like to give the rundown to all new potential clients looking to enroll.New clients will need to first go through a screening and then eventually true admission. This is a two part process that will potentially take 2-5 days depending on how quick toxicology is done with the urine analysis during the first part screening. So during this time, you will potentially meet with the facilitators as I have done in the likely order: Financial>Healthcare Coordinator>Counselor>Nurse Practitioner>Admission Doctor>Dosing NurseThey take all forms of insurance, and with the exceptions of Tuesdays and Saturdays, the clinic is open from 5:30am -12:30pm.I am writing this review as I hope this may aid people in the future who aren't sure as to what's to be expected, Recovery is a lengthy process, if you are just looking to be in and out, expect disappointment if you're used to being instantly gratified.I have no complaints in regards to the clinic or my experience getting in, this place saved my life and livelihood because of the available treatment that's offered.

Putting my review in a nutshell,"my mother always told me to "fake it until you make it" and by becoming a rehabilitated human being at,Carnegie Hill Institute, again,I no longer have to fake it. And if there were anyone else I'd thank, besides the Lord, for seeking life' purpose,I thank the generosity of spirit and the way they come from love first and of in their successes at making sure I can regain the trust of others because they trust in me. And without gaining the trust of others,it takes away your will to live.

Carnegie Hill Institute is by far the greatest recovery program I ve ever had the pleasure of attending. In the 4 years I ve been enrolled at CHI I have successfully stopped using for 3 years now. My counselor at this time is not only the most helpful counselor I ve ever had in any recovery type place, but he s also been a great friend to me as somebody to confide in. The man who started this Institute Dr. Harvey Karkus unfortunately passed away recently much to my dismay. He was one of the last remaining doctors in this city who truly cared about his patients and genuinely tried to help each and everyone of them. However I like to believe that his legacy lives on in the new doctor on staff Dr. Ella Leers as she is much like him in many ways. In conclusion I absolutely believe 100% that my ability to stop using has been due to the care that Carnegie has given me. Thanks guys!
