So upset this treatment center is closing!! Typical corporate decision. I am alive today because of their treatment. Clean & sober for 15 years with no desire to drink, do drugs, and/or binging on both. The comments from the new owners were disrespectful and ignorant about the process. Treatment is not easy in any program, but if it saves lives why end it. Shame on you Universal Healthcare! Many lives will be lost by closing this hospital.

I feel like it needs to be said that no one will kick an addiction in 10 days. Even the traditional 28 days won't end the addiction. There are no shortcuts to the life long journey you are embarking on, if you choose sobriety. What Schick does - is give you the tools, and take away the cravings so you can handle this huge life shift.I have been abusing alcohol for 8 years and finally decided I needed professional help. Schick is working so far for me. I've been 81 days sober as of today.What the treatment is like:There is a daily schedule of meds, vitals, and group. You will spend the mid morning through mid afternoon either completing a sleepy (propofol conscious sedation treatment where they ask you a series of questions related to getting sober, and staying sober) and counseling, or a duffy (ipecac aversion treatment where they give you ipecac and then have you drink alcohol. you quickly become ill to associate drinking with nausea.). Late afternoon are various groups.Pros:-The medical director at the hospital is a true patient advocator. Sabrina is incredible.-The community. I felt safe sharing in group, and gained some friends I imagine will be with me for life.-The counselor John. I've been going to therapy the past ten years, but HE is my favorite person I've talked through my mental health with. Compassionate, empathetic, just a good listener, and has great life advice. He's been there done that, and helped me see some great perspective. His lectures are also my favorite.-The program. Schick gives all of the same literature that any other rehab gives, but also has the aversion therapy, and sedation treatment.-The resources. The media wall, the counselors, the lectures, the movies, the hypnosis videos, the 4 agreements, etc. There are so many resources it was hard to take them all in. But theyre all powerful and have continued to help me outside of Schick.Cons:-The nursing staff. For the most part I didn't have a problem. But some of the staff had no bedside manner whatsoever. Some said misogynistic comments. Some did room checks late at night with little regard to patients sleeping. Some argued with other nurses in front of me. Either the nurse was great or the nurse was pretty unprofessional. And I didn't see much inbetween.-Not a diverse group at all. As a black queer female I felt out of place here. It's mostly white men in their 30s and 40s.

Dr. Scott is a knowledgeable, interesting, complex, spiritual, compassionate, and amazing human being. I have been working with him for a year now and he has provided a safe space for me to uncover areas of myself that I unknowingly have neglected and ignored for years.When you work with Dr. Scott, you will not receive a bunch of babble and incoherent jargon that leaves you more confused and feeling further away from healing. Instead, you will be met with some basic and fundamental core principals of what it means to be a kind human being and learn how to embrace who you really are and nurture yourself to become who you want to be.If you believe that therapy would help you, I highly recommend you pay Dr. Scott a visit.

Dr Scott is an amazing and loving individual. He has provided me with change and healing. He has really opened my eyes to true living and real and rich relationships. The world needs more people like him! Thank you, Dr Scott!

I came here for a mental health assessment. I really enjoyed my time talking with Dr. Scott. The price is very reasonable and ill for sure will be coming back to him.

I needed a place to go to learn about my disease. I went to lakeside not knowing what to expect but what I found was a caring staff and true professionalism. I would highly recommend this place to anybody.

From the first phone call to the my first time inside the office the feel is so professional and welcoming. I wish I had found them sooner. Maureen was amazing and we shared several hours of just conversation where I had my eyes opened to things I never knew. This place is run very professionally and efficiently. When you arrive for an appointment there is never a wait. Everyone you come acrossAt the clinic is friendly. I have called a few times needing help and I was well taken care of.I highly recommend this place!!

I have been a patient at THS Seneca methadone treatment clinic since 1998 and still get treated today. I get best care ever for my drug dependence.

I'm on Suboxone but it hasn't been working for myself any more and been thinking on getting on methadone. Is this a methadone clinic ? If any one can help me out thanks

I transfered to Wecare for a while it's way closer to my home. But I'm not daily, and they will work with you, from where you are. They'll get around all the unnecessary red tape and BS they can, and every time I make my dose, it's high 5s and smiles all the way from the staff. They make you feel wanted, and you can't exaggerate how much some of us need that now. To me, it's worth the extra few miles... I'm driving though, not everyone has been as lucky as me on that so this is just my calculation and experience. Chin up.Anyway yeah it's great for a methadone place. They're totally good enough. And in this industry that should be celebrated.

Evergreen also provides acupuncture for clients at no out of pocket cost. Dr Anne is understanding, easy to talk to, cares about the ppl their seeking help. Helps you plan out short term/long term goals for individual treatment plans, all the staff genuinely want to help you watching the growth in your recovery without judgement. Reception staff at front are so busy and so great setting everyone's appointments and addressing your needs. Everyone of the staff are friendly caring & on top their game. Great place to start for treatment

My best friend uses this clinic, though since the flood last winter it's mostly an outdoor waiting place for the minibus to the clinic in Renton.

Authentic and tasty! The fried rice and beef stir-fry were perfectly cooked.

I would go on Sunday for inspiration and breakfast.

It is a free, 3 tiered treatment with proven results. Each phase is designed to involve aspects you learn preoviously and how to apply them to next phase and in real life. I am a succes story from them!

Kind staff. Great facility. Cardio galore, some weights, lots of cable machines, pool and BB gyms.

The prices of counseling here are very affordable.
