My experience with this particular facility has been nothing but a positive situation for me. The staff, all the way from the Director down to the office girls have been almost like a family to me. The compassion that I have been shown means so much to me & out of all the programs I have encountered, this one is by far the BEST. My councilor has also been a positive force in my life & really gone to bat for me. But most of all, although everyone remains very professional, they are all very caring & treat me with respect. I have nothing but good things to say about Steps Recovery center in St. George. These people really do care about you, you aren't treated as just another client. Almost all staff are recovering addicts, so they definitely "get it". I highly recommend checking them out. They got me right into a bed from detox. The food is incredible, they have their own chef, his name is Roger and he will hook you up!

When I sent my Godson to Liahona Academy, it was the hardest decision that I ever made. He has recently graduated, and I now know that it was also the best decision that I ever made. He struggled in the beginning, but once he finally understood that I only wanted him to become a better person, he started making changes. He is now ahead in school, has great grades, and an excellent relationship with anyone that he wants to have a relationship with. I can guarantee that if you sent your son here and you give him time to figure it out, he eventually will, and you will never regret your decision. My Godson came out of Liahona academy as a completely transformed man.

I have struggled with intense, debilitating depression for the better part of 15 years. I had tried everything - dozens of antidepressants, other various medications, eating healthy, exercising regularly, etc but nothing seemed to work to help alleviate my symptoms fully. After completing the full treatment of TMS, I can genuinely say my life has significantly changed for the better. I was staring to feel hopeless in my battle with depression, that I would live like this for the rest of my life. Since TMS, my depression and anxiety has all but disappeared. I feel happy, motivated, and enjoy the day to day experience like I never knew I could. It’s been months since my last treatment, yet everyday continues to be a blessing. I recently left Forte Strong and am currently residing in St. George. I have a great job now and a chance to move up in my company by going to graduate school. Forte Strong was very tough in the beginning and to be completely honest, I actually hated it. I felt like everyone was against me, including the director. I thought they were just trying to make me jump through meaningless hoops. I was tired, depressed, anxious, and had very little self confidence. In a fit of frustration, I vented to one of my housemates the director wasn’t helping and was actually making it worse. The guy said the director’s methods will all make sense in the end. Obviously, at the time, I blew that off as utter nonsense. A month or so later, I was having a lot of anxiety and the director supported me in my time of need in a way that was quite unfamiliar to me at the time. I was shocked. He did care and not only that, he believed in my strength and resilience. My opinions of him changed almost immediately. He became my biggest mentor in the program. I went to him for problems I may have had, how I could have handled this situation differently, how I could have a better relationship with my parents, etc. He was there for me and I was ready to listen. In a matter of 5 and half months, my relationship with one of my parents changed drastically, a feat I thought was near impossible and hopeless when I entered the program. My resilience increased, my self confidence increased because I was doing well at work, and I had more trust in my abilities. Everything was changing for the better. I was going to be fine. I also made countless friends along the way, people that I will still keep in contact with for a while. I have also dealt with challenging people in the program, people who I really didn’t care for and who didn’t really align with my values. The program director mentored me through dealing with difficult people. It was an uphill battle, but it is all about learning. Now, I’m not going to say that this program is for everyone. It definitely is not. There is a stark contrast between the people who actually want to be there and to work on themselves and the people who feel forced by their parents. I was fortunately the former. And as I sit in my new apartment in St. George on a bright Saturday morning, I want to say thank you Brook for all you have done for me.

It is not an experience that is right for everyone but it has made a big difference for a family member. My thoughts: If you are looking for traditional heavy therapy environment focused on diagnosis and medication management this is not for your family member. Forte has therapy and medication management but it is not the core of what they do. It is a small piece of it and one that I think has opportunity to be improved upon. That being said, not why you come here. If you have a young man who cannot move forward to adulthood responsibilities regardless of the cause this may be for your family. I say may because there is really no way to predict if this formula is the right one. For our family member, routine, coaching, basic skills for healthy living and independence were that formula. A real differentiator here is the obligation to work during the program. It is not just an obligation but central to success. That, plus the independence gained riding and owning a motor scooter ( something I could never have imagined) made a huge impact. The coaches are kind, empathetic but tough and direct and the same time. They are practical and this coupled with the simplicity of life in St. George are also very helpful. My family member has chosen to remain in St. George and is is moving out on his own, has a nice job and is on the road to a professional career that feels more in line with his interests. His stress is vastly improved, as is depression and he has better interactions with his family than before. Opportunities exist with the therapy and communication with parents. It is not perfect but the Director is amazing and open to feedback. At the end of the day they genuinely care and work hard purely in the interests of these young men. It is expensive but if the behavior I see now sustains itself - well worth it.

I got a brain scan and deeply detailed readout done here. It was really cool - I got some validation of what my body had already been telling me. My intake was with Cody and he was so easy to talk to, I knew I wanted to do the scan when I asked for a sample of the readout and he got so excited to show me. Then a few days later I had all my brain waves reviewed by James, the owner. It was such a fun, relaxed conversation about what my brain is literally doing and habits its showing. We talked for so long, I feel like it was well worth the value. Between the intake, the scan, and the read-out, it was easy, timely, but never rushed. Thanks - I'll be back!

Serenity has been an amazing, life changing environment of support since I started there almost a year ago. I would highly encourage any mother dealing with OCD/anxiety/depression/post-partum mental health concerns to visit Serenity to receive help and support. Even if you’re not diagnosed with any specific mental health concerns, give it a try if you are post-baby and just not feeling like yourself. Getting an accurate diagnosis and specific, evidenced based treatment has made a world of difference for me, and has allowed me to be the woman, mother, and wife I want to be with realistic expectations. The IOP therapy method is intense and hard work, but is well worth the time investment and effort! I was hesitant to commit, with two older children and two newborn twins last year. I’m so thankful I did! All of the therapists are so supportive and encouraging, and really push me to push myself. My time at Serenity has given me the skills. I need to work around my OCD and anxiety and not just cope with it. What I’ve learned has freed up hours each day so that I can be more present with my family and show up for them and myself every day. I’ve also made a lot of great friends and it’s amazing how much I found in common with the diverse group of women And kids I’ve met at Serenity. I am so grateful for the work that they do and love to continue to attend their alumni events to stay plugged in and connected with my support group. Morgan at Serenity Recovery & Wellness saved my life. I started seeing her as a first time mom with postpartum anxiety. I’d never experienced anxiety like this before; it was debilitating. I couldn’t leave my baby with anyone. With Morgan’s consistent care I was eventually able to leave my child with someone other than me (like my husband). My daughter attended this facility through high school until she graduated. All in all a positive experience. She liked it there. Definitely had some issues that required disciplinary action but nothing too harsh. They were a bit understaffed for therapists at the time to the point where the then-director became my daughter's therapist. Aside from that, no real complaints. Would recommend.

My personal experience: I was 16 when I went and I have to admit my behavior was definitely different when I got out. It taught me discipline and respect for myself and others. I learned to make decisions starting from personal responsibility to educational opportunities. I definitely recommend this place.
I fought back the first few weeks and maybe even months but it’s like a wild horse who had trauma, they are eventually going to learn and it’s going to take time.
I recommend! I would go back for the discipline and scheduled order they have.

I went to Falcon as I was struggling with addiction and depression. Although it was tough some moments (as life is) being there was such a healing experience. The staff was so genuine and I made friends I still keep in contact with to this day. I graduated the program and received my diploma with the help of the teachers there. I visited Nestled Recovery Center last week and was really impressed with the personal attention I received. Alex and the team are truly outstanding! They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and felt welcomed throughout my visit. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and aren’t just waiting for time to pass. The nursing staff were incredibly qualified and professional, which gave me confidence in the level of care provided here.
What really stood out to me was how personal and flexible everything felt. There’s no strict, stingy corporate atmosphere like you might find elsewhere. It feels like a place where individual needs actually matter. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained, and the grounds create a really peaceful environment. This program by far is the best Rehab facility in the country. My life was changed after being there for 56 days.
