I truly loved this place. During my time here, I struggled a lot the first couple weeks, and that was intentional on the programs part. It’s not supposed to be easy and you can adjust to the difficult aspects by truly letting go of wanting to control and accepting why you came to get help. I grew more here in a month than I ever could have in the real world.
I loved the staff, the doctors, the clinicians, the nurses, and my housemates. I never thought I’d say this but I actually miss being here! The forced structure was comforting and having small responsibilities daily helped me stay accountable. I miss making my bed after breakfast and tending to my little plant. I miss racing to the kitchen after group before 9 am hit so I could have one last cup of coffee. I miss that. I miss making things special as opposed to just having carte Blanche to drink caffeine whenever I want now, it takes the meaning out of the actions we choose when we live with no rules or structure.
The content of learning was helpful, and yes at times repetitious, but that’s how we change. Changing isn’t learning something then doing it perfect the next day. It is tedious amounts of reps and time that add up to meaningful change, it’s not glamorous like the world makes change seem. This program is HARD. And that’s what I wanted. I wanted challenge, I wanted growth, and I was sick and tired of being tired. This time in my life I decided I wasn’t the expert on how to do things considering how badly things were going. Please know that if it’s hard or you think it should be your way, it’s okay to let go and let them be the experts in their field. I am forever changed from this place, and I hope you will be too. And I am better for it because of this place, the friendships and love from staff alike.❤️

I called the narcotics anonymous hotline about my son and they arranged for us to take him to Boca. My son didn’t really want to go, but he went and was so glad he did. Beachside Rehab has completely changed my life. I stayed in residential for 30 days, switched to PHP for 14 days and am now transitioning into IOP. If I could utilize this facility forever, I would probably never leave, but they gave me the help and confidence to fully trust myself and my environment to move on from Beachside.
Molly Graham is an amazing therapist who really helped me through my family issues and navigate my new diagnosis. She always made time for me even when it wasn’t a session day. She never made me feel less than for not know how to handle certain situations and she always found a way to greet me almost every single day.
Diana is the best trauma therapist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Her technique and ability to really speak to your mind and soul is like nothing else. She really is a special human and therapist who individualize her therapy to fit each person.
The BHT’s are always an amazing comfort during your stay here and really take the time to get to know everyone individually.

Beachside is a wonderful environment that truly cares about your goals and needs. If you’re in need on inpatient therapy I would highly suggest this place. At first I really did not want to come but I met many lifelong friends and really discovered myself. The building is clean and well cared for. The club no one wants to belong to is waiting for you. Let’s be honest: Nobody wakes up thinking it’s a good day to stop their addiction and go to rehabilitation. The fear of losing my old way of living (which wasn’t productive or making me happy) kept me looking through the distorted lens of the bottle.
I thought other people needed rehabilitation, but South Shore completely transformed my life in ways I never even dared to imagine. The journey began reluctantly, much like the late Amy Winehouse’s famous song “Rehab.” The thought of going to rehab felt like a last resort, and the stigma around it was daunting. But addiction doesn’t discriminate, affecting people from every walk of life, including successful writers with master’s degrees, licenses in medical sciences, and television fitness personalities like myself.
When I arrived, South Shore’s safe and serene environment provided the perfect backdrop for healing. The 24/7 medical support was a lifeline during detox, ensuring that I was comfortable and safe as I began to purge the toxins from my body. The detox process was supervised by compassionate professionals who made it as smooth as possible.
South Shore’s approach is holistic, focusing on mind, body, and spirit. The Big Book of AA, which I previously scoffed at, now serves as the cornerstone of my recovery. Through various therapies, including yoga, meditation, and surfing, I found new ways to connect with myself and the world around me. The sessions at the beach were particularly transformative, allowing me to heal in the midst of inspiring natural beauty. My only critique is that due to varying physical capabilities among participants, some of the best hikes and views from atop the cliffs were not attainable due to strenuous challenges. However, this experience taught me tolerance and acceptance.
Education is a cornerstone of the program. I learned so much about the nature of addiction, why I drank, and most importantly, how to stay sober. The individualized treatment plans were tailored to my unique needs and adapted as I progressed. This personalized care was crucial in addressing the underlying issues that fueled my addiction.
One of the most surprising joys was discovering a supportive community. In group therapy and 12-Step meetings, I found my tribe. The camaraderie and understanding among fellow participants were invaluable. The program’s emphasis on community and peer support continues to be a cornerstone of my recovery. During my stay, I learned to achieve and maintain abstinence from substances, develop strategies to manage cravings and triggers, practice healthy coping skills, build a support network of peers, mentors, or sponsors, and engage in therapy to address the underlying issues contributing to substance use.
Recovery is not just about abstaining from substances; it’s about discovering a new way of life. South Shore gave me the tools to cope with cravings and prevent relapse. The skills and strategies I developed during my stay have been essential in maintaining my sobriety.
The support doesn’t end when you leave. South Shore’s continuing care and alumni programs ensure that you remain connected and supported long after you’ve left the facility. The lifelong membership in the South Shore community means that help is always available when needed.
Choosing rehab was the best decision I ever made. South Shore not only helped me break free from the chains of addiction but also gave me a fresh perspective and a renewed outlook on life. Pinnacle Recover is amazing. All of the staff go over the top to meet your expectations. The program gives you everything you need to achieve your goals and gives you all the tools you need to help you in recovery. The food is outstanding, Chef Ed is so compassionate about his cooking. I’ve never had a well balanced diet as good as it was at Pinnacle. The activities you get to enjoy are so much fun. Sober softball, hiking, bowling, batting cages, ice baths, open mic night are some of my favorites. The facility is more than adequate, its an amazing house that is filled with comfort. Overall, Pinnacle has changed my life in so many positive ways. I feel as if my life is starting over and I get the opportunity to be happy again. I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you. When I came here fresh out of rehab, I was in a rough spot, and honestly, I didn’t know if I’d ever pull myself together. But you all took me in, gave me a place to get my head straight, and most importantly, you never gave up on me—even when I wasn’t making it easy.
You guys stuck by me through everything, and because of that, I’ve been able to grow into someone I never thought I could be. This place seems like it is amazing, and I’m so grateful it exists. However, when I called to see if I could relay a message to my brother who is staying there, I had an unpleasant experience. Amber answered the phone, and I introduced myself as his sister. Before I could explain further, she curtly said she couldn’t confirm whether he was staying there and then hung up on me. I want people to understand something important about the program. When you complete it and leave, the medications they use as “crutches” (like SSRIs) are not designed to be permanent solutions — but they don’t really prepare you for what happens when you try to come off them.
In my case, when I finished the program, I was left with nothing but “good luck.” No tapering support, no real plan, no follow-up guidance. The withdrawal from SSRI medication was a horrific experience, and I had to seek out a separate doctor on my own afterward just to cope.
People should know going in: the program does provide structure and tools while you’re there, but the aftercare is lacking, especially around medication dependence. Be ready to advocate for yourself and find outside medical support when you leave.

This place literally saved my life, my career, and my family. I was “functioning” in my opinion, but I was really blind to what was happening around me.
My marriage was falling apart, my career was spiraling slowly downwards, my kids had a parent who was always drinking at home, and who might show up to a soccer game or a cheerleading contest drunk and loud and embarrassing.
The truth was that I was dying in front of my kids and my spouse, my job was dying, but I thought I was living.
I too came here under the “6 to 8 week” suggestion, but I knew how it goes. Admissions will usually tell someone that just to get them in. I was not naive in that fashion.
Yes, some reviews say “bait and switch” or “I was told this at the beginning”, but what they are not telling you is that everyone gets evaluated when they first get here, and based on cognitive tests, and how messed up you and your life are, patients either leave a little earlier, right on time, or they need a little more time (like me).
I figured that I drank and used drugs for years, and that it would take more than under two months for me to even begin to get better.
I learned new skills, got great therapy and education and care from the staff, and after 3 1/2 months I came back home. I work in television production, and my co-workers and bosses were so supportive and understanding. My family…took a little while before the trust and love came back, but it did eventually, and it feels good because I put in a lot of hard work.
Listen, I know a lot of people come to treatment for the “band aid” to fix whatever problem is slapping them in the face. But if you really, truly want to get well, get sober, and get the kind of help you need, there is no better place than Talbott. You might have to stay a little longer than those other “spin-dry” types of rehabs that just keep recycling patients who keep relapsing, but I swear this place works miracles. I am living proof.

I heard from residents this is one of the nicest recovery centers in the state, if not whole East Coast. The Staff are friendly and helpful, Doctors are knowledgeable, Nurses are considerate. You will receive round the clock care every day of the week. The food is Chef cooked and different every day, residents are a huge fan of the meals and snacks! We have recreation outside to play basketball or get some sun. We have at least 4 classes a day, sometimes 6. Teachers are compassionate and knowledgeable. I had a great experience here and have no complaints about the facility after 23 days in treatment.
One of my concerns (which ended my treatment early on my part) is the lack of transparency on when you will be released. Some people are admitted 13 days and some 35 without any knowledge of which group one will fall into. Kylie is cold and unapproachable and provides zero communication on discharge timeframe which makes residents feel like hostages. She also will call your emergency contact and snitch on you if you attempt to leave. I hope she learns her lesson the hard way.

Amend helped me when I was in a very dark place and unable to function in my day to day life anymore. The staff was wonderful from the intake through the last day I was there. I felt cared for and treated like a person that matters and has value. I was able to work through past traumas and find ways to move forward in a healthy manner with appropriate boundaries. The staff and the therapists are all top notch. I believe in their programs so much that both of my daughters are going through Amend program now. If anyone needs a helping hand, the fact that it is a beautiful setting is secondary to their approach to treat your mind, body, and soul. They actually give you an opportunity to find a way to work through your problems in a way that is more fun such as music therapy, horse therapy, art therapy, yoga, acupuncture, cupping, and they also have DBT and Psycho Ed classes that are so helpful. I left there with a long reading list and that is keeping me engaged in what I learned. I will admit that went into the program with the approach of, “I will do anything they ask of me and I will work the hardest I’ve ever worked”. That makes a huge difference as well. The effects of their efforts, and mine, will stay with me forever. They helped me change my life.

This place and the people at Bright Futures are truly something special. I’ve been through multiple rehab centers, and while each offered something helpful, I always ended up back in the same cycle—drinking, isolating, losing myself. I came to Bright Futures broken, scared, and exhausted—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. It wasn’t just the substance use that nearly destroyed me, it was the lack of hope.
From the very first phone call, I felt like I wasn’t just another intake. I spoke with someone who took the time to listen to my story, answer my questions about detox placement, insurance, and what to expect from PHP. I was skeptical at first. I didn’t believe in myself. But Bright Futures believed in me before I could.
When I arrived at the facility in Boynton Beach, I was immediately welcomed with warmth and zero judgment. I was assigned a case manager, Jennifer, who not only kept my treatment organized but supported me emotionally every step of the way. She helped coordinate everything—from therapy sessions to aftercare planning to helping me talk to my family again.
My primary therapist, Matt, made an enormous impact. He didn’t just run through a script—he took the time to dig deep with me, identify my trauma, and help me develop real coping skills. We worked through things I had buried for years. The group therapy sessions led by Ashley were raw and transformative. She created a safe space where I could share, cry, and most importantly—heal.
Melissa, part of the support staff, always made sure I was okay. Some days I didn’t need therapy—I just needed someone to sit with me or remind me to eat. Carlos, one of the techs in the sober living side, treated me like a human being when I was at my worst. They didn’t just do their jobs—they genuinely cared.
The clinical structure here is solid. I was placed in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) after detox, then moved into outpatient therapy and continued working on myself while staying in the sober living housing they set me up with. The facility was clean, the food was good, the housing felt safe, and the schedule helped me rebuild my routine.
The best thing about Bright Futures isn’t just the therapy or the services—it’s the people. Everyone from leadership to the cleaning staff seemed committed to helping us succeed. There were no shortcuts. Just honesty, consistency, and compassion.
I left Bright Futures with a recovery plan, coping tools, a support network, and something I hadn’t had in a long time—hope. I still check in with some of the staff. They didn’t just get me sober; they helped me remember who I am and who I want to be.

From the start when my wife reached out to Brooke to get me some help, they have proved to me that they are More Than Rehab. They are more than admissions, more than techs, more than nurses, more than counselors. Every single nurse is there to help you through whatever you’re going through medically and they do it with sincere compassion. Every single tech has been through the fire, Andrew, Aubrey, Hannah, Bree, Jamie, Sadie… they’ve all been through it and know the way out. I can’t say enough positive things about the house lead, Ginger. If you’re there to work the program, she can and will help you through. Whatever you’ve been keeping bottles up inside, your counselor, whether it’s Suzanne or Leah, will get it out of you when you’re ready and help shine a light in those dark spaces inside you so that you can begin actual recovery. Every one of these people have a great sense of humor and a passion for helping people. I honestly don’t know how they can put their heart and soul into like they do. I went to Structure House in 2019. I can’t say enough about it. It helped me get into shape with the exercise classes and equipment. It helped me to develop healthy eating habits and because I stayed the whole month, I was able to stop my sweet cravings. In addition the classes taught me some great skills to catch myself when I want to go back to bad habits.
I am actually 20lbs lighter now then when I was when I left (144lbs) and now in my husband has lost weight from the skills I learnt when there.
My diabetes is a little better.
So thankful for Structure House!

One of the best investments I’ve made in a long time was to spend 4 weeks in a total health and wellness immersion at Structure House. I tapped into my greatest and most authentic self while there with my wife. Total body, mind and spirit work. Life changing and transformative. Our son has been struggling with addiction for several years. He chose to go to rehab 9 months ago and found four months of sobriety but then relapsed thus starting a relapse/rehab cycle. He has been in 7 different programs during this time. At each program they would give him new and more meds, to the point he was barely able to stay awake or fully engage in conversation. I would tell everyone possible that his meds needed adjusting but it only seemed to get worse. Finally, after his 5th relapse in 3 months, he ended up at Live Oaks. Right away their clinical team recognized that his meds were ‘ridiculous and negligent’. For the first time since our son started his recovery journey we actually were able to talk to someone from the medical team. Tim, the onsite RN spoke with us at length several times and iterated his determination to get our son set on a better path. This included connecting him with a psychiatrist who is now the only person who can alter Logan’s meds.
When our son got to LO he was in a spiral and 4 days later chose to leave LO on his own and promptly relapsed. After only 15 hours away he chose to return. He stayed for another week, but during this short time Jacob, Tim, Marcelo and the techs bent over backwards to support him. Jacob was up most of the night engaging with Logan during his relapse. I’m certain that is why he chose to return. Logan has ultimately chose to go to an SLE/PHP program down in Encinitas, Immersive, and seems to be thriving there. This choice was at the recommendation of Jacob who knows the program well. All of the team, including Tim the RN who flew down to San Diego with Logan, have been instrumental in helping Logan transition to his new environment. I cannot thank the team at LO enough for the support, expertise and dedication to our son. We’ve experienced several programs and Live Oaks was by far the most instrumental in helping our son, even though he was only there for a short time. My husband and I are forever grateful for their care, compassion and professionalism! If you are looking for a recovery program for yourself or a loved one—start here! I wish we would have!

What an unbelievable miracle Live Oaks Wellness Center has been in our family’s life. From the very beginning, Marcelo Nazarian — the Director of Admissions and Clinical Outreach — went above and beyond to support us. Even before my child entered their care, Marcelo personally spoke with him to offer reassurance and compassion, and a thoughtful, structured plan was already in place.
Throughout the past year, Marcelo has continued to stand by our side, showing a level of commitment and care that is truly rare. Jake was equally incredible — always available, always listening, and always willing to connect with any of us in the family. His ability to support not just our son but all of us made a lasting impact.
Our son made real progress at Live Oaks, and a full year later, we were able to work with the team to develop a thoughtful transition plan. Even now, long after his time there, Marcelo continues to check in — or picks up the phone when I need someone to talk to. That level of care and ongoing connection is something I’ve never seen before.
Addiction that begins in the early teen years is incredibly complex, and the road to recovery is never straightforward. While our roller coaster has not ended, I can honestly say I don’t know where I’d be without Marcelo and Jake Tedesco. Their compassion, consistency, and willingness to show up day after day — even when things were hard — made all the difference. They truly are a safe pair of hands and make you feel a little less alone.
There are no words that fully capture our gratitude. Live Oaks gave us hope when we needed it most — and for that, we are forever thankful.

I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible program Live Oaks Wellness offered me… the incredible staff, therapist, and the amazing people I met while I was there has changed my life, FOREVER!
Before walking through the doors I had no idea what to expect, this was my first time in treatment. I was scared but was immediately able to completely surrender with the warm welcome by ALL.
They made sure I felt at home, but most Importantly made me feel safe and comfortable through the entire program.
They not only offer a VERY comfortable detox (which was my biggest worry) but they offer SOOO MUCH MORE…
