I have been to three Crossroads Treatment Center locations. The first being in Danville Va and second be Petersburg Va, the Suffolk Va location is my current location. The Danville location was nice besides at the end my counselor was Very rude, short and mean to me. Everyone else at that location was fabulous and very kind and professional. Petersburg Va location was fabulous from the moment I walked through the door. The Director actually took time out of her busy day to work on my paperwork along with the Director of the Suffolk office. They both did my paperwork so my process was fast, kind, friendly, informative and professional. Those ladies deserve an award for outstanding service. Along with Ms. Erica from Petersburg Va and Ms. Erin from Suffolk Va. I recommend anyone suffering with substance problems to reach out to any Crossroads Treatment Center. They will take care of you from head to toe. They want to help you! It's not just a job to them.

Choosing to go to the Farley Center truly saved my life, and making the decision to walk through their doors was the best choice I have ever made. When I first arrived, I was in deep denial, but the staff met me with unwavering compassion, guidance, and patience. They didn't just help me stop using; they gave me the tools and space to dig deep and tackle the root issues that led to my drug addiction in the first place. Because of the work I did here, I am living a life filled with genuine hope and a clear, positive vision for my future. I have also begun the deep, meaningful process of rebuilding my relationships with the people closest to me, something I didn't know was possible before. A deeply heartfelt thank you to Brandon, Claire, Betty, and Justin. Thank you for advocating for me when I needed it most, for standing in my corner, and for believing in my recovery before I completely believed in it myself. You all made an irreplaceable impact on my life, and I will forever be grateful to the Farley Center team.

My daughter was very sick and had to spend some time at this hospital. I was nervous having her come here because of the things that I’ve heard about this facility, but the care blew my mind. Everybody on the 2nd floor was very kind and was checking on her frequently throughout the day. They took very good care of her. The director even called me today just to check on us and to see if there was anything else we needed, which I have never experienced from another hospital. I told her I would leave a review, for anyone else that is hesitant on coming to this hospital, We had a good experience and they treat us much better than southside. Thank you 2nd floor.

Front Desk personnel are rude. I went in to ask a question and then it all fell apart. I said I have a question, and the rep said first I need to see your ID and a license will do. I said all of have a question....ID please and the empty hand grabbing for it. I guess you have to have an ID to get a question answered. I gave to her, she handed it back to me and said have a seat, I said not all I have is a question and I won't sit down. She said sternly to sit down, I said I'm not going to sit down and an elderly volunteer took me back to physical therapy. Maybe Bon Secuor will teach your staff some manners! The only reason and I mean the only reason I am giving this five stars is because of my counselor Miss Ell when I I'm telling you this woman has helped me so tremendously she saved my life and my family she helped me stay clean when the actual clinic was not doing what they were supposed to be doing for instance this woman found my papers that were sitting behind the reception desk under stack of paper for almost a week a little back side story I had surgery August 25th when in August 26th and tested for a benzo well they took my take-homes away that I had just gotten so it took me all over a few days to get the hospital to fax over my paperwork well she had found it took it to the doctor the doctor said the medication wasn't on there that I was lying. Well missile took it right back to her and showed her it's right here so again she's the one and only reason I have my take homes she's been working on getting me my take homes once again while moving up in my take-homes and there's one doctor there that's never there so it's next to impossible to get take homes but she made it happen and is still trying to make it happen. All I want to say is you have amazing people that work there that keep getting ran away all the time by the employees there that are just there for a paycheck I'm just thankful that she got me on the path that I need to be on mentally and physically before anything happens to her honestly because from here on out I will continue to do good and I will always think of her

They saved my life. Although, They can only save those that want to be saved. The program didn’t work for me until I started working it. I was in the clinic for a year and a half the first time around. I was still using, missed days, I didn’t really care about the program. I just showed up for my dose on the days I couldn’t get straight and that was it. However, When I went back six months ago, I was still using but I was tired of living that life. So, I got up to a stable dose, Stopped using, Started working the program, And I’ve been clean 122 days as of today. The staff here has been amazing from the very first day I went two years ago. They aren’t judgmental, they’re supportive, and caring. The director is awesome and I love my counselor this time around, Ms. Jewel. If you’re ready to get sober, this is the place to go. Thank you so much for my second chance at life, Crossroads Treatment Center. I love yall and I’m forever grateful to you.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but this one is more than deserved. Hazel, the receptionist at this clinic, is truly an incredible person. From the moment you walk in, she greets you with warmth, kindness, and a genuine smile that immediately puts you at ease something that means everything in a place where people can often feel vulnerable or overwhelmed. Hazel is not only professional, but also incredibly compassionate, understanding, and patient. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels respected and heard. No matter how busy or stressful things get, she stays calm, organized, and attentive. She never rushes you, never makes you feel like a burden, and always takes the time to help in any way she can. What really stands out about Hazel is her consistency and her heart. She treats every single person with dignity, fairness, and kindness. She’s dependable, hardworking, and handles difficult situations with grace and maturity. You can tell she truly cares about the people who walk through those doors, and that kind of genuine compassion is rare. Hazel is a huge part of what makes this clinic a welcoming and supportive environment. They are beyond lucky to have her. She makes a difference every single day, whether she realizes it or not.

I originally left a review on a day with inclement weather when I was irritated they were closed. I'm updating to include the fact that overall..... my experience has been excellent. My counselor (Mallory) is incredible. She never misses a phone call, an appointment time, a request... none of it. She's been a consistent source of positive support in my life. Super grateful that she's my counselor. Honestly, if she left the practice I'd transfer to the BHG closer to my house. I drive extra because she's employed there. The whole team is friendly and supportive (although there was a time a few years ago where that was definitely not true.) I appreciate what these done in my life. I've been able to level out, and am tapering off the medication as we speak. This place probably saved my life. Mallory's the real deal.

I graduated from this six-month program in November 2024. I have been clean since the day I was admitted on May 14, 2024. I wanted to share my experience because this place genuinely saved my life. It is a very restrictive program, and it can be frustrating and uncomfortable at times. However, the staff are transparent about the process from the beginning, so you know exactly what you're signing up for. While I was there, I honestly resented many aspects of the program. Looking back, though, I can see that it gave me the structure and accountability I needed. If you genuinely want to change your life, this program can absolutely help you. I had previously been through two other rehabilitation programs before coming to the ARC, and this is the longest I have ever stayed clean. I also want to mention something that may be helpful to others. I do not believe in God, and I was completely open about that throughout my time in the program. While I was required to participate in the religious aspects of the program, such as church services and Bible study, I was always treated with respect by both the staff and the other participants. No one ever tried to force me to believe or treated me differently because of my views. I'm grateful for my experience here. Today I'm doing better than I ever have, and I genuinely believe this program played a major role in helping me rebuild my life.

The problem with addiction recovery is that the first step, detox, is the steepest hill of the journey. That’s why The Haven Detox is here: to level out that hill and give your recovery a smoother, more comfortab

I’ve been with GHR for a few years, they have always been very nice, and I LOVE my Therapist. Sometimes on med check day, I get worried and call them instead of waiting for them to call me, and they are always very patient with me, and I feel very taken care of.

Riverside Counseling and Psychiatry has a welcoming, professional atmosphere. The office is clean, organized, and comfortable, and the staff are courteous and helpful. Ashley Hansen at the front desk was friendly, professional, and made the process smooth and pleasant. Overall, the office provides a positive and professional environment.

As someone who was there for 3 days i thought it was amazing and the staff really do care and are really nice. I thought the food was pretty good for what it was and i did learn things to help me in the future. The other patients there are very very friendly and helpful. Being able to talk to others that are going through the same has very much helped my mental health. The only bad thing was that the first day and a half i got placed in a unit with people that needed more help and i was on the quieter side. Other than that it was great

DORM AND THERAPY Where to begin, first off I would like to say that my time at BRC was well needed and if I wouldn’t have gone I don’t think I would be half as better as I am now. I had the most AMAZING therapist who worked with me when I felt down, who never doubted my ability to put in the work and effort to get better, and over all brought me and my family back into a healthy relationship and gave us ways to communicate effectively! Miss Courtney (who previously worked in the dorms but later transitioned into a therapist) was an inspiration to me, she was the first worker that I met at BRC, she made my transition a lot smoother than I would’ve expected, she cared for me and supported me. The staff were a great help and that’s one thing I’m going to miss! Miss Kay is a great leader who helped me stand up for my self respectfully but assertively she was very kind and was always there to talk to me when I needed it. Miss Tessa who is the treatment coordinator for the girls dorm was Also a huge help in my treatment. She gave me many ways to think of a situation more positively, and taught me to keep a positive attitude instead of giving up. She was like a “dorm mom” to me and I appreciated that. The school system there is very effective. In about 3 months I had my falling grades that where my previous school turned in tho all passing A’s! There are also teacher assistants who can help with work if a teacher isn’t available, I had the pleasure of meeting a few, but one really stood out to me m.s Kayla was so cool, you could recognize her a mile away from all the keychains she had. She is so sweet and encouraging! MY EXPERIENCE AT BRC I will say when I first got there I expected more of a psych ward, that was not the case at all. The Barry Robeson center is laid out like a collage campus, this reassured me that I wasn’t going to have the experience I thought I would. I was at BRC for 5 1/2 months I arrived in December of 2025 and left in June 2026. My time went by slow but also fast. The days felt long but next thing you knew it was time for bed. I feel like the hardest part about my day/stay was if I ever got a bad phone call. Phone calls can only last 15 minutes but some staff may let a minute slip by if it’s a rough one. Whenever I had bad phone calls I know I would shut down, I know this isn’t the case for everyone. My advice for this is to process with staff (talk). PACKING now I know that there’s a packing list when you get accepted but some of it might be a little unclear You’re allowed to have make up once you reach a thing called phase one, it must be unopened and no Metal, you may have a plastic eyelash curler. You can have hot tools like hair dryer, curling iron, straightener, etc You can have tweezers and nail polish For clothes it can not be too tight and with shorts it must be fingertip length, no off the shoulder, and no low cut shirts. For shoes you can basically have all types, but one thing to be aware of is open toe shoes and crocs can not be worn in the gym. I’m sure there’s a lot I haven’t covered, so if there’s any questions I can answer about my experience I would be more than happy too! BRC is a great place to go too! And I hope everything goes smoothly!!

I was a phase 3 patient during July 2024-November 2024 and I have to say it changed me and my family's life for the better, I had the most amazing staff and I loved them and every single day felt like a summer camp. Although a couple of the kids in my dorm (power) were chill, most would freak out daily and force us into the mpr (where we would evac to when a danger was present) but otherwise i loved it
