This place is by far and I mean by far the place you send your child when as a parent you have become so self absorbed with yourself, your money or your own life when your child doesn't conform to your lifestyle and has become a liabilty to you, also when you can manipulate the court system to show your hatred of the person you decided to have the child with and decide to send them to this out in the middle of nowhere godforsaken facility. When you send your son to this facilty you can guarantee that he will be surrounded by adults that have no caring or show the least of compassion to your son and if by chance the child has some type of a learning issue you have not found the right individuals to help your child, however large or small that is. This place isnt cheap either, so what the need for such large sums of money that is payed for being that there is no place to spend it, is confusing So lest be known to all that when you send your child here he will be bullied and surrounded by predators (other students), and you have failed as a parent.....and more than likely your child will see as they grow older the same uncaring coldness that you had when you sent your child here...

I don’t know what all these other people are talking about. I was there twice, once in April-July of 2021 and again in June-September in 2022. I also went to 3 other places. Maybe I didn’t have bad mental problems, and it was more just my parents not knowing what to do with me, but as far as teen therapy goes, second nature is absolutely amazing. Spending time outdoors can truly heal a person. I always felt like the food was nutritious, and there was plenty of it. I felt like the clothing was more than adequate for the conditions at hand. I always felt like the staff and therapists were top notch and outshined all the staff and therapists at the other places I was at. Yes, they do send like 90% of kids to “aftercare” or long term RTCs. Those suck, they are generally abusive, and will do damage to your mind. So, to any parents considering, please just send your kid here and then bring them home. But as far as second nature goes, i actually look back on my experiences there in a very positive light. I enjoyed being outside, I enjoyed hiking. I enjoyed the food, and honestly if I was still a minor I would probably go back just for fun. Because myself and a lot of the other kids I was with really enjoyed it. Maybe not all of it, but as a whole, I feel as though it was a very positive experience and helped me a lot. I found that I love camping and hiking, and I spend a weekend or two a month camping to this day. It has helped me deal with the stress of being an adult. I can’t speak for the people leaving negative reviews, and I don’t want to invalidate anyone, but that was the complete opposite of my experience. It’s definitely not a “concentration camp” or whatever.

Lwk fire would go again if I wasn’t in my 20’s. Better than the other wilderness I’ve been to. Actually helped me change and at points rather enjoyable. Staff Ryan is the goat. And thanks Derrick for being a real one. Also stop leaving surfies around campsites.

I went here over a decade ago - it taught me emotional literacy, gave me a love of nature, reset my relationship with my parents, and set me back on the right path for college.
Many people think negatively of these programs (like the other review). It’s hard for someone under 18 to get sent away from home, there’s no way around that.
But I never had any negative experience with second nature, actually I have a lot of fond memories. Thanksgiving and Christmas special meals. Amazing campsites. Training to make a fire with sticks/busting an ember. Mentoring newer group members. Seeing the Milky Way at night. No one ever abused me physically or emotionally. The field staff was kind and respectful.
The other reviewer calling this place a “concentration camp” is being majorly disrespectful to the people who went to actual concentration camps. My experience was not even remotely close to that.

The Chateau has been instrumental in my growth and continued recovery. I truly owe my life to Chateau! I have been to Chateau twice after severely struggling and ended up spending almost three months total there. I was very anxious not being a first responder or veteran and much younger than many of those there. The second I walked through the front door, I felt safe. Clients and staff didn’t not care that I was neither of those things.
Through the help of Chateau, I found the motivation and will to stay alive and sober. I started to discover my authentic self and be happy with who I was. Chateau helped me in so many ways and will never be able to express the amount of gratitude I have for the facility, staff and clients.
They are accommodating to all needs and are truly there to help you become better.

Ardu literally saved my life. Ardu is just not a business with employees. It is a home with family. They truly care about your wellbeing and will do everything in their power to help you. So far I have been attending Pomarri Treatment center for about a month at the Orem location. From silver creek to the Pomarri treatment this place is my “saving grace” . Every single person from what I can see really cares about each and every single client that walks through that door. I have been to a handful of treatments throughout my addiction and by far this one is the best. I literally look forward to coming to group!!! In a month I have learned so many crucial and valuable skills already, from coping skills, DBT skills and really life skills . I’m excited to see what the rest of my journey will be here but one thing is for sure if you are looking for a treatment that’s different from the traditional treatments that takes medicaid then give Pomarri a shot !!

Sending my daughter to a residential treatment center was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make as a parent, and I was incredibly apprehensive at first. However, our experience with New Haven’s Stabilization & Assessment Program far exceeded every expectation I had. I am genuinely grateful for the level of care, support, and communication we received from day one.
The clinical director and my daughter’s therapist, Cassi, was truly exceptional. Cassi built trust with my daughter in a way I had not seen before, and knowing that my daughter felt safe going to her with anything meant everything to me. The clinical leadership made sure I understood every step of the process, and they took my concerns seriously from the moment we arrived. Their professionalism, compassion, and genuine investment in my daughter’s well-being stood out immediately.
The nursing staff was just as incredible. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure her safety, monitor her needs, and communicate with me about even the smallest changes or questions. There was never a moment when I felt out of the loop. Whether it was a medical update or a quick check-in, their communication was consistent, thoughtful, and reassuring. The team of therapists, relational coaches, medical staff, and teachers was all needed to create a safety bubble around our teen while she experienced a real and present storm in her life requiring therapy (individual, group, & family therapy). After 12 months of school and therapy, she was able to actually complete high school early and has launched successfully into her college experience. Thankfully, New Haven offers aftercare options to make the transition bearable- it is a lot to transition from a safety bubble to college life. We appreciate the deep care from all the staff, including the cook and night staff, who all make themselves available to the kiddos when a listening ear is needed. The reason for 4 stars was because we would’ve like to see more daily physical activity included in the program for a healthy lifestyle. However, there were parent weekends to national parks and many outdoor opportunities. In summary, New Haven aims at making families whole and we were blessed to be one of those families.

My daughter spent a year at New Haven and it was an excellent experience for us and for her. If you are considering New Haven, you’re in a tough place and have been through a lot. We were there and made mistakes before finding New Haven. The team was excellent - especially her counselor (shout out to the amazing Amy). The depth of the program and the quality of the people had a profoundly positive impact on our daughter and our family. I’m extremely thankful that we found this place. We still stay in touch with multiple families that we met through the program. My daughter supported my writing this review which says everything. These are good people doing good work.

This program by far is the best Rehab facility in the country. My life was changed after being there for 56 days. The professional staff, attention to detail, intense therapy, and process groups all helped in my transformation on my road in recovery. The ER got me in quick and stabilized my vitals….stayed overnight to have a Nuclear Stress test next morning. My therapist was absolutely amazing, and they all worked extremely hard to make sure I had everything I needed. The Dr's and all the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They genuinely want to help people who are struggling. It's a different kind of program in its very own special way and I greatly recommend it to anyone struggling. My LO never had the opportunity to receive treatment here, but I can't say enough good things about Natalia who works at intake. My son was arrested due to his mental illness. In a frustrating system, Natalia was a shining light who worked hard to help my son get treatment instead of prison. She wrote multiple letters to the judge, New Roads came out and did assessments and validated my questions and concerns. If the actual facility listens and cares like she did, I am sure the place would be amazing. It came highly recommended to me from various parents whose loved one's were able to recover, thanks to New Roads. I truly wish my son could have received the help that he needs from a place like this. Unfortunately, our country still has a long way to go in the criminalization of those suffering with a serious mental illness. Thanks New Roads for all that you tried to do and especially Natalia.

I’ve been two the sprigvillie Utah location twice. I just wanted to say how grateful I am as much as I hated it during the time it was a big part of my recovery and I can’t help but be grateful I’ve made some of the best fiends I could ever have there. Recovery is hard and this is probably one of the best places I’ve been they handle situations a lot better than most places. The staff there are very kind, I specifically remember when I was there a day tech named Chloe although I have no idea if she still works here I gotta say she was the most kindest sweetest person ever she made being there so much more tolerable and genuinely gave me hope for my recovery.

Hands down best place to send your kiddo. Our 16 year old received so much help. I had looked on google and Reddit and read hundreds of reviews. I wanted the good and bad details of Embark before sending our daughter all the way from Mississippi to Utah. After coming out on the other side I can 100% say.....don't believe the bad reviews. Don't believe the bad comments of Reddit. There are more good reviews and comments FOR A REASON! Do it. Jump in with 2 feet. It's worth it!

I was thinking about my time at Reflections today and realized I’ve never left a review. This place is a god send. It truly saved my life, multiple times. The staff genuinely cares about your well being and they push you to do things that you never thought you’d be able to accomplish. They gave me hope and love when I felt unworthy of either. This was the best treatment experience I’ve ever had and I have been to several other ones in Utah. The family atmosphere and the amazing staff who genuinely care and always had my best interests at heart, the case management team were amazing at helping me to figure out a safe place to live and aftercare, the medical staff especially Sarah!! were amazing at helping me find the right medications and make sure I was sleeping well and feeling good and I can’t say enough about the clinical team!! I changed my life at reflections and I would recommend it for anyone who wants to get real solid treatment and not just a vacation!! Thank you Dustin and all the staff!!

I flew in from North Carolina, Billie made the entire process very easy. Upon arrival at Salt Lake International, her transport team was very professional and greeted me at the arrivals hall.
When I arrived, the nurses seamlessly checked me in. I was given a thorough medical check before being able to lay down on a very comfortable bed! My stay was short (about six days), but the staff were professional and very friendly. I couldn’t asked for a more relaxed stay, thank you to the amazing staff!
