My experience there was truly life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The staff went above and beyond to create an environment that was compassionate, professional, and focused on healing.
Every member of the team — from the counselors to the support staff — treated me with respect and understanding. They took the time to listen, to guide me through difficult moments, and to help me find practical tools to manage my challenges. The treatment programs were well-structured and personalized, addressing not just the symptoms but the underlying issues as well.
The facility itself was comfortable and welcoming, and the sense of community among residents made a tremendous difference in my recovery. I left feeling stronger, more self-aware, and better equipped to continue my progress.
I’m deeply grateful for the care I received at Chateau and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a place where healing and hope truly come together.

The Chateau has been instrumental in my growth and continued recovery. The staff and therapists humanized my experience from day one, providing a safe and supportive space where I could begin to rediscover my whole self. Through multiple modalities, I was able to process and begin healing from both deep-rooted and secondary traumas—some of which I had carried for far too long in silence.
What sets Chateau apart is their unwavering support even after treatment ends. Their commitment to alumni care reminds us we’re never walking this road alone. I’ve continued to grow, and while I still face struggles, the ongoing alumni meetings, reunion, and check-ins have helped me feel held and connected. There’s a true family and community feel that stays with you.
I even had the chance to visit the beautiful new facility—and walking through those doors felt like coming home. What other treatment center invites you back with open arms, long after you’ve completed the program?
Because of Chateau, I am more than confident in saying: I will finally be able to live the life I truly deserve.

I truly owe my life to Chateau! I have been to Chateau twice after severely struggling and ended up spending almost three months total there. I was very anxious not being a first responder or veteran and much younger than many of those there. The second I walked through the front door, I felt safe. Clients and staff didn’t not care that I was neither of those things.
Through the help of Chateau, I found the motivation and will to stay alive and sober. I started to discover my authentic self and be happy with who I was. Chateau helped me in so many ways and will never be able to express the amount of gratitude I have for the facility, staff and clients.
They are accommodating to all needs and are truly there to help you become better.
I highly recommend this amazing place to anyone who is struggling!

So far I have been attending Pomarri Treatment center for about a month at the Orem location. From silver creek to the Pomarri treatment this place is my “saving grace” . Every single person from what I can see really cares about each and every single client that walks through that door. I have been to a handful of treatments throughout my addiction and by far this one is the best. I literally look forward to coming to group!!! In a month I have learned so many crucial and valuable skills already, from coping skills, DBT skills and really life skills . I’m excited to see what the rest of my journey will be here but one thing is for sure if you are looking for a treatment that’s different from the traditional treatments that takes medicaid then give Pomarri a shot !!

Maple Mountain Recovery in Utah completely exceeded my expectations. From day one, their team created a highly personalized treatment plan tailored just for me—every session felt tailored to my needs.
What really sets them apart is the way they seamlessly blend healing with genuine care and enjoyable experiences. Between therapy sessions, I had options like yoga, cold plunges in nature, art therapy, acupuncture, and many therapeutic adventures. It felt like real recovery, not just treatment.
The staff is amazingly attentive—every single team member knew my name, remembered my goals, and checked in regularly to see how I was doing. They made sure I felt supported 100% of the time and built an environment that was both professional and warm.
If you’re looking for a recovery center that cares deeply, customizes your journey, and injects a dose of fun and relaxation into the process—Maple Mountain Recovery is it. Highly recommend!

New Haven Treatment Center is a residential treatment facility for young girls aged 14 through 18. The residents at New Haven struggle with mental illness, substance misuse, self-harm, or other behavioral issues. The campus, located in Spanish Fork, Utah, is made up of three large, fully staffed houses that accommodate up to 16 residents. An on-si | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Sending my daughter to a residential treatment center was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make as a parent, and I was incredibly apprehensive at first. However, our experience with New Haven’s Stabilization & Assessment Program far exceeded every expectation I had. I am genuinely grateful for the level of care, support, and communication we received from day one.
The clinical director and my daughter’s therapist, Cassi, was truly exceptional. Cassi built trust with my daughter in a way I had not seen before, and knowing that my daughter felt safe going to her with anything meant everything to me. The clinical leadership made sure I understood every step of the process, and they took my concerns seriously from the moment we arrived. Their professionalism, compassion, and genuine investment in my daughter’s well-being stood out immediately.
The nursing staff was just as incredible. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure her safety, monitor her needs, and communicate with me about even the smallest changes or questions. There was never a moment when I felt out of the loop. Whether it was a medical update or a quick check-in, their communication was consistent, thoughtful, and reassuring. I could always reach someone when I needed to, and I never once felt like my daughter wasn’t in excellent hands.
One of the biggest strengths of New Haven’s program is how thorough, individualized, and comprehensive their assessment process is. They provided the most detailed psychological evaluation my daughter has ever received, and for the first time, I truly felt like her experiences, symptoms, and struggles were understood with depth and accuracy. They paid attention to nuances that are so often overlooked by other providers, and those insights have already transformed how I support her at home.
Despite some negative reviews in the past, our experience was nothing short of outstanding. The program is thoughtfully designed, tailored to each child’s needs, and grounded in compassion and clinical expertise. I felt supported at every turn; not just my daughter, but me as a parent navigating an overwhelming situation.
My daughter made meaningful progress during her three months there, and the foundation they helped her build is something she continues to benefit from today. I am sincerely grateful for the entire team at New Haven, and I would not hesitate to recommend this program to any family whose child needs this level of care. They truly changed our lives for the better.

The team of therapists, relational coaches, medical staff, and teachers was all needed to create a safety bubble around our teen while she experienced a real and present storm in her life requiring therapy (individual, group, & family therapy). After 12 months of school and therapy, she was able to actually complete high school early and has launched successfully into her college experience. Thankfully, New Haven offers aftercare options to make the transition bearable- it is a lot to transition from a safety bubble to college life. We appreciate the deep care from all the staff, including the cook and night staff, who all make themselves available to the kiddos when a listening ear is needed. The reason for 4 stars was because we would’ve like to see more daily physical activity included in the program for a healthy lifestyle. However, there were parent weekends to national parks and many outdoor opportunities. In summary, New Haven aims at making families whole and we were blessed to be one of those families.

My daughter spent a year at New Haven and it was an excellent experience for us and for her. If you are considering New Haven, you’re in a tough place and have been through a lot. We were there and made mistakes before finding New Haven. The team was excellent - especially her counselor (shout out to the amazing Amy). The depth of the program and the quality of the people had a profoundly positive impact on our daughter and our family. I’m extremely thankful that we found this place. We still stay in touch with multiple families that we met through the program. My daughter supported my writing this review which says everything. These are good people doing good work.

I have a family member desperately in need of help at home and newly out of rehab center. I am friends with someone who has been using Helperly services for a while now and was planning on using their services to help my family member, but when I talked with them I was told how the environment had changed. Instead of being a family oriented caring company committed to helping clients and caregivers alike they have changed their direction and focus to a corporate type of company more concerned about the almighty dollar than about their clients and staff. Now I am scrambling to find suitable help for my family member I can trust to care for them long term as it seems from what the doctor said it will be at least a year or more before we will be able to determine if the need will be permanent. I am heartbroken as I thought this was the one thing I did not have to worry about.
I am adding an addendum to this as your response is BS. You did not even read my review as you assumed I was already a client. I am not and will never be now. You obviously do not communicate well with your clients and outright tell untruths to prospective clients. This is very sad.

If you are at all considering trying to get your life together and trying to get off heroin, make an appointment and follow through with it these people will change your life. What I noticed very first because my husband and I walked down here out of desperation at 5 in the morning when we came is that everyone was pulling up in nice cars on their way to work and they all looked really happy and it was a time when me and my husband were really really bad addicted to heroin and meth and I realize these are the kind of people I want to surround myself with I totally turned my life around and just a matter of a few months! The thing you have to remember, is that this is a rehab! So all the reviews saying that they are terrible, you may want to take with a grain of salt!
I had a great experience with Foothill. Ricky really changed that place for the best, and he worked his butt off with not only the staff, but the clients too, to try to figure out a Happ medium! You can't have everything you want when you're coming off drugs and alcohol! It's a facility that has guidelines and rules! Believe me, I tested and pushed both, and at times told some members of the staff things I shouldn't have said!!! Ricky could have kicked me out a couple times, but worked his tail off with me, and the staff to get me through! I completed the 90 day program a little bit early, cause I started doing the work, and going the extra miles it took. I still struggle now and again but I'll always look here first! If I had had more time in my week I would have tried the group sessions, but my experience with individual therapy was terrible. I found my experience there very impersonal, I was always repeating things about myself and my situation every time for each of the four sessions I attended. I understand having a lot of people you work with, but to have the therapist taking notes the entire time and not seem to remember anything about you the next session, just gave the impression they didn t care at all during the most vulnerable time of my life. That made it incredibly difficult to develop any sense of trust. Unless your situation is only textbook postpartum depression, don t waste your time on individual therapy. The therapist I met with didn t seem prepared to handle anything comorbid. My last session there was ridiculously invalidating and rather than being understanding of my difficultly expressing what I was feeling, I was told I could leave the office. Well thank goodness I did! I found much better care elsewhere, I recommend Brinley at Bristol Health in Orem, she has helped me immensely.

I have actively tried to recover from addiction for more than 10 years. Southwest Counseling was my 7th attempt at treatment. I failed to get what I needed to recover from 6 previous treatment centers across the country. Countless thousands of dollars were spent in an attempt to relieve my suffering from Alcoholism. It wasn’t until attending the Therapeutic Community Program at Southwest Counseling Service (S.C.S) that a solution was found. I can unequivocally and without a doubt say that S.C.S has saved my life. This program works. If you or a loved one is suffering from addiction I highly recommend S.C.S. be your first and likely only place to receive assistance in overcoming the effects of this illusive disease. Through the program I was able to discover the underlying cause of my ailment and more importantly how to navigate life without the need of substances to make life more bearable. It is in fact a difficult program, but a difficult problem demands a complex solution and is well worth the short term discomfort to achieve lifelong happiness. I only wish someone had ushered me to S.C.S sooner, I know a lot of heartbreak and suffering could have been spared. I’ve been working with Eric at AVY counceling for the past 2 years and I’ve never had a more effective and enjoyable therapist or form of therapy. The Body talk/Mind Body Bridging is absolutely incredible and Eric knows how to integrate it so effectively. Ive worked with soooo many therapists and doctors and Eric at AVY Counseling it at the very top of my list. Eric far exceeds traditional forms of therapy including “talk therapy” that you can find absolutely everywhere. What Eric does needs to be adopted world wide. My brother also sees him and benefits in the same way. I can’t give a high enough rating.

Serenity truly saved me! After a traumatic birth, I struggled with terrible anxiety and OCD. I did the IOP program for OCD and was able to get back on my feet and function again. I love the therapists and the girls. I recommend them to any woman who is struggling with their mental health postpartum.

I’ve spent the better part of the last 11 years of my life at Provo Canyon School as a full time teacher and when Covid situations caused a need for additional student life mentors, and since my heart broke for the many teens who were in treatment during the pandemic, I became a substitute evening, and sometimes weekends overnight staff member to help during this time of needed compassion and supervision for the situation of these teens. I am also the parent of a child named Mikey (naming him here because I have four other children and don’t want any of them to feel that their identity and reputation could be compromised by anything I say here about their brother and his experience in five separate behavioral and treatment facilities that he and I together chose to place him in to help him learn to deal with his addiction and his life traumas). In-patient treatment is at best always tough because vulnerable children are away from their parents, family and familiar friends as they voyage into living in a dorm setting with other children with some similar issues, and some with much more complex issues. Provo Canyon School provides these children with fantastic psychiatrists who also work in private practice outside the facility. My son, (who was a student body President, a medical assistant, and, sadly an Opoid addict who sometimes used illegal drugs to self medicate his bi-polar mental disorder) was prescribed, and responded very well to medications similar to what the PCS doctors prescribe our patients. Like some of these respondents on the PCS comments page, he went through spells of feeling inadequately or overly medicated until the right dosage was attained by his doctors and his compliance in taking the meds correctly and having nurses, teachers, staff, and therapists work together to help him communicate and observe the meds that helped him feel “right” mentally. This process is not easy for the patient, family, nor staff or facility in general, and a lot of patience and energy is required to just get the meds right for the desired behaviors to happen. I question negative comments by some of our past students here because time and time again I have witnessed some dramatic and wonderful mental and behavioral improvements in my PCS students within a couple weeks of getting on properly prescribed meds if needed and getting away from the substances that some may have been detoxing from.
In 11 years, I have never seen any patient not have more than enough clean water from clean drinking fountains and more good food and tasty snacks, all planned and reviewed by competent dietary professionals and good cooks. Teachers and staff often dine with patients in the cafeteria and requests for special diet accommodations are often honored.
As far as academics are concerned, I have worked at five accredited public schools in two states and have never worked with more distinguished and professional school academic directors than we have now at PCS and both have been at the school for over ten years.
Many of the teachers have masters degrees and most have double majored with special education credentials to help both gifted and special needs students.
As far as I have been able to determine, comparing PCS with the five facilities that my own son attended, (wish I had known about PCS at the time) the school directors, leadership and all facility employees that I have observed are doing an amazing job of using Trauma Informed Care, best practices, professionalism and kindness in helping patients learn the skills and have the knowledge to become happy, successful and productive members of our society.

Please don’t judge this place just because of the Paris Hilton case that by the way didn’t win the case!. That happened a long time ago, with different staff and a different owner. Things are not the same now. Let that sink in. First of all let me start by no one gets denied food or medical attention if you or your kid claims they did then they still need help cause at that point it was up to them to eat or not and IF it was true they probably got denied food because they asked for something to eat when the cafeteria is closed or because they just want more n staff didn’t have more snacks that was provided !
I’ve been there, and honestly, it wasn’t as bad as people say. I’ve seen kids cry when they had to leave not because they were scared or hurt, but because they didn’t want to go. Some kids even told the staff they felt like family. If it was really that terrible, no one would feel that way. I really liked my staff. They were nice, they helped us through a lot, and they treated us with respect when we followed the rules. We got to do fun activities on the weekends, and when we behaved well, we got rewards like group hangouts or movie time. It wasn’t just about rules it was about learning how to be better and how to work together.
Now, I won’t lie and say everything was perfect. Swing A had some problems. The manager didn’t really seem to care or listen, and it made those days they worked feel kind of cold. Some staff on swing A weren’t as patient either. That part needs to change, because how staff treat kids really matters. But even then, there were still a few good people trying their best. Some people write bad reviews just because they didn’t like being told what to do. This place isn’t meant to be a vacation you can’t sit in your room all day or act out and expect no consequences, I seen a girl get jumped because she refused in her room and that’s exactly why they can’t be in rooms all day cause staff can’t watch everyone all over the unit! It’s not a chill spot It’s about learning and growing. That can be hard sometimes, but that doesn’t mean it’s abusive or unsafe. A lot of people forget that kids and staff are human. Mistakes happen. Sometimes staff were strict or got annoyed, and sometimes kids didn’t follow the rules. But I always felt like there were people there who cared staff are human and have feelings too and take a lot of mental/ emotional abuse too but They listened when you needed to talk and celebrated when you made progress. If it was really such a horrible place, it would have been shut down already. But it’s still open, and it’s still helping kids. It’s not perfect but it’s not awful either. I had a lot of good times and learned a lot about myself, and for that, I’m grateful
